Dodge Moving & Storage

DO NOT USE. Very shady. They’ll attempt to make the most of you. In my situation, they gave me a bid and price for two movers. They shipped 3 (I was not requested nor given a quotation exactly what that could cost). While the transfer went quicker, they attempted to charge me for 3 movers. When I called them on it, they corrected back to both but then acted like they were doing me a favor for charging them exactly what they quoted at the first location. They also took advantage of me from the movers with me first their start/end days onto a blank form that they filled at the days afterwards. I’ve documented proof that they didn’t begin till 8:30am and also have my copy of this blank form however, the movers declared their beginning time since 8am effectively charging me to get a half hour I did not work with. Should you need to use them, keep a close watch on what they do since they will attempt to benefit from you then act as though they’re doing you a favor. Barb, their worker, is so terrible at customer support too. The movers were attentive and pleasant. However, it fell apart with the front office.

4 guys and a massive truck came at our house at the appointed time on June 4, 2014.  Each one of the movers were friendly, efficient and considerate.  Our movement was approximately 3 kilometers and the movement to the new home was smooth.  Quite soon we realized that a little microwave (brand new and hadn’t been used) wasn’t in our new site.  We first checked our prior residence and decided that it hadn’t been left behind.  We contacted the Dodge Movers and reported that the loss.  We had been advised they’d send us newspapers to record the missing thing.  We filled out the papers and returned them to the provider.  After a fairly long delay we obtained a letter from the company telling us that they had a policy which the truck had been assessed in the end of the afternoon to get any items left behind.  Since they did not locate our microwave the firm wasn’t responsible for our reduction.  I understand all businesses have policies, but composing a policy and ensuring that coverage is always completed is two distinct things.  We’ll certainly not use this provider again.
