I hired Degayner Home Services (DHS) for furniture shipping in the Rooms-to-Go Super Center, west of Katy Mills Mall, on September 12th 2015. The furniture contained three more glass-top tables (just one coffee table and 2 end tables). They sent two of those 3 tables with legs that were detached. The delivery men had picked up the tables in great shape (Rooms-to-Go has record by using their signature to the effect), so the detachment happened in transit. I had a lengthy phone conversation with Steve Degayner (the proprietor ), who maintained that he’d care for the repairs that are needed, etc.) nevertheless insisted that I hope him and also make complete payment (that I did). Over the next week, he revealed his assurance via text messages a couple of times, and really gave me a date (September 18th, as conveyed via email outdated September 15th). He never responded to my messages afterwards.
Even the glass-tops were glued into metal disks that, consequently, were secured to the legs by screws. My impression was that the adhesive had gotten reversed, therefore it was an issue of removing the adhesive from the metallic disks along with the glass surface and then re-gluing these. I recently had somebody inspect the status of the tables. He reasoned that the glass-top of this coffee table has been ruined since a portion of this glass had come off using the adhesive. I think Degayner’s delivery folks understood this, which maybe is why Steve Degayner maintained lying to me. Certainly, we are in need of a new coffee table, so as well as this re-attachment of this detached leg of this end table; and equity requires that Steve Degaynerhis or her insurance, pays for this.
Firms like Degayner Home Services benefit from individuals’ trust, fool them to get a fast buck, and provide the term”support” a terrible name. I’ve asked Rooms to visit simply take DHS off their record, because their reckless behavior reflects badly on Rooms-to-Go too; and want to caution all potential clients of the business to remain clear of these.
In terms of DHS, I would ask them to come clear with this unethical action. Should they intend to be in business for the long haul, then they must learn how to honor their particular sentence, and treat individuals in great faith.
