After all of the furniture was packed, they stated they had to find another truck since this one had difficulties and they did not wish to push it 3 hours off. WHY WAIT TIL THE TRUCK IS LOADED TO MAKE THAT DECISION?

I guess they had another occupation. . .because they did not reach the destination before 12 hours after. We waited all night in a vacant home, and matters were not unpacked till 3 in the afternoon.

Last bill was 1400. I complained to the proprietor, who said he had”work with me” but not returned calls.

They essentially held me hostage when the truck was loaded. Along with the entire price was more than twice the quote.

I transferred my two bedroom flat with DC Guru Movers.

They arrive punctually. They had 3 people and a truck while some other firms offer just two individuals.

They wrapped everything attentively, folks were careful and nice.
The unloading was much quicker, they unwrapped clean and everything all broken wrap paper and removed the broken boxes down leaving my apartment tidy.

There was an administrative mistake and they bill me to the wrap blanket but then they had been fair enough to contacted me back and repay the price for the blanket which makes it a really great thing. That’s HONESTY that’s tough to find about.

I’ll totally rely on them again and highly recommend them.

I had a meeting with either Town & Country Movers & DC Guru Movers. DC Guru’s quotation came in WAY below what Town & Country offered.

1st. The end Cost was $2000 MORE than initially quoted. They shot their time packaging EVERYTHING. I informed them that I’d require an 18 Wheeler or 2 trucks. They advised me no what will be just fine. Halfway through they arrived and said I had to purchase a second truck & driver that was $300 more. I had been trapped between a rock & hard place and stated alright. The truck showed up 4 hours later! They stood around out of my home just waiting for another truck. They came to me with $3000 last cost or no furniture. Town & Country came in using all the grand total of 2700 last quotation. I should of used them.

Dc pro shifting did my go for me two months ago. The girl on the phone explained me everything in detail- she had been up front about all of the costs. I requested her to send me all of the files I would need to register beforehand so that I was not driven on the afternoon of the transfer. She had been very kind in sending me those.

The movers arrived and transferred my 1 bedroom very fast. . .granted I didnt have much material.

Everything came in good shape along with the movers were very professional the entire way through.

I began getting calls by the Owner”Avi” of the business at my job this afternoon with regard to getting my critique about his firm from Yelp. Attached please get an email channel from a worker in the DC PRO MOVERS firm after I made a decision to cancel my relocation by using their business. This COMPANY includes a few CHILDISH EMPLOYEES.

Then I was contacted with the Owner who dared me to eliminate my critique about his firm on Yelp. The Owner Avi said that he delivered the worker dwelling and that he’d provide my transfer for me personally to get a flat fee of $400.00 when I took down my review. Well I removed this review and my flat wasn’t prepared on the beginning of January 7th, so that I needed to re-schedule the movement until the following Saturday that is January 14th. Well I had been advised by Avi that I have other large jobs rather than earning any money from your work. I am able to offer services on Sunday or Monday but I’m reserved for Saturday. I was like OK. So I did an internet search for a different Moving firm for its date of January 14th and Avi reacted to my hunt. If you already possess BIG JOBS scheduled for January 14th WHY ARE YOU STILL Searching FOR WORK?

This was only another PLOY with this provider to not offer the services that he promised if I chose down my review. WELL MY REVIEW IS BACK AND I AM NOT EVER TAKING IT DOWN.

I AM APPALLED AT HIS ACTIONS, I have not experienced anything similar to this. Please, Please, Please whatever you do “DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY”

Don’t use DC Professional Moving and Storage Inc to your relocation…you’ll thank me now! This provider is quite DISHONEST and will tear you off. I initially hired DC Professional Moving and Storage Inc because of my transfer at March of 2012. I had given a quote for 1 Truck, two Guys, 3/hours, $65.00 per hour = $195.00 and traveling time 1/hour, $65.00 per hour. Estimate = $260.00 This is the very first time I’d ever employed a moving firm and my transfer entailed a single bedroom, kitchen and living area. When the movers came they showed up with 3 guys rather than 2 and stated they might do the transfer for 3 guys, $79.00 each hour that would make the go go quicker and save me even more income. I licensed the next mover. I’d already packed all of my possessions however licensed the movers to work with packaging stuff in my two tv’s, glass side table, along with glass screen rack. Complete our experience with DC Pro Movers was superb. We had a exceptional experience where we had two weeks notice regarding our relocation date and we called on a Sunday and have been put up to proceed on Tuesday morning. The company (Luna) was exceptionally beneficial and set up everything by telephone and email. She managed to work together with our hard schedule and make the whole process simple.  The move was neighborhood but has been completed immediately and finished on 1 afternoon. In complete the transfer cost roughly $2100 and contained our whole house (2 bedrooms, kitchen, family area, furnished cellar, workplace ). This provider is a complete ripped off. They promoted low hourly rate along with a very low quote but beware since they’ll make the most of you. Totally overpriced, untrue, will ripped off you, impolite and will require their time so that you will be billed more. The direct inspector also did  his paperwork at the center of the transfer so that we’ll not need to perform any manual labour.  Beware of the specific mover  do not even think what they will let you know. They will only attempt to begin business together and then will snare you.

They came within the time period they’d quoted to us before hand. Benny, both Wilson and Thomas were quite friendly, pleasant and professional to manage, and over all very effective. The last speed was just a bit over what was originially quoted, but that resulted from our sofa and loveseat requiring wrap. They even took an undesirable TV (1980s floor version ) into the skip for us. Overall it was a fantastic experience. If I were able to ensure procuring these three gentlemen for a different move, I would not hesitate to use them again.

Dc Guru Movers was known to me by a buddy of mine that used their services. I worked together with Nicky the entire time, who had been really useful. On the actual moving day, the movers were 30 minutes late but they phoned me in their way to inform me about it so that I wasn’t angry /

He said that it was regular, which after 20 years in the company, he had not seen moving businesses alter this. He requested him to call his manager, and he did.
