Enjoy the Best moving experience! Everything was done fast and economically.
I had been worried that the movers could be slow and helpless because I had been going on a Sunday morning. . Only had bad experience with movers until… but nope! The movers wasted no time! They were super fast – ended my movement in like 2 hrs. They were also right behind me when we were driving into the new flat.
Would certainly recommend this company if you’re moving.
I Don’t recommend utilizing D-Town Movers. We proceeded in September and that is our third time with them. Their team has changed and they’re no more an honest business. They didn’t ship the ideal team as requested and if they brought an additional man out to assist, he was a thug and following an episode at our home, I almost had to call out the sheriff to get him eliminated. (Later discovered from proprietor he had difficulty with this employee the previous weekend with a different client also. Dangerous!) Then they over charged us to the transfer and we’ve talked to the proprietor at the very least a half dozen occasions attempting to acquire the overcharged amount returned to us and we still do not own a test. It has been four weeks and their tons absence of attempt to make things right is pitiful!
– [ ] Unfortunately, I am having to write this review so as to dissuade others from expecting this company to store or move your possessions. When I first hired this business in 2018, I had been delighted with the support and among the movers persuaded me to transfer my home in their storage facility instead of the one I’d formerly lined up. I dropped from the businesses speech about a month when they moved our stuff in their unit…I had been told our possessions were in crates and that I would have to make an appointment for to my items…I tried two additional events to place an appointment however, was not able to determine my items. As soon as I transferred this June, I phoned them and scheduled to have them send my things to my new location and I was also going to get some things moved into a storage. They requested that I arrived from the new storage facility and proceed though my items to find out whether they had been mine or somebody else since , they seemingly blended my things with the other clients and that I had to confirm which things belonged to me personally. They didn’t have all of my things…I had been overlooking stop a little…

– [ ] I’d have a king Louis Armoire that’s from late 1800’s-early 1900’s that both of the hand carved front toes were broken. As soon as I saw that I had been advised that their furniture repair guy will be out the next week to fix it…I never heard from him and called D Town movers and had been told that they would call him to schedule the repair. I phoned their office a few times asking where my additional things were and they said they’d finally get around moving through another crates and wanted me to send photographs of my possessions….however, on the afternoon of my transfer I had been told they’d be receiving my lost items the following day and could be bringing them. I have known to talk to the proprietor on many distinct occasions and have not received one telephone call back. Don’t trust this business if you like your possessions. I labored hard to buy the items in my house just to get them split, misplace or steal my processions. I’ll attach photographs of lost things and my classic armoire that they all broke.
Got an extremely erroneous quotation for 3 bedrooms onto a 26 ft. bath. I wound up leasing a 17 ft. U Haul which was packaged to finish the move. I am 70 years of age. They knew that it was not likely to match when they began. Kept asking for a hint, broke a desk and stated it might be 90 days until it had been solved. I need to initiate each petition for information. Wish to get ripped off, so seek the services of these men!
This is my first time with their support to get a flat move that has been directly across the road from my present unhappy now. They ruined my wood furniture, broken two tv lost a rear seat cushion, and also damaged a wall in my new flat. Over two weeks following the damages had been completed they finial left me a deal to repay my claim for about $300.00. I declined the offer, also will probably be using them to court. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS MOVING SERVICE!!!
D-Town Movers
2900 Jesters Ct Plano, TX 75074
On 6/1/19, I hired D-Town movers to move appliances and furniture out of our house into a apartment (less than 10 miles off ). Following delivery, although the movers were still present, I scrutinized the furniture and discovered that the majority of the products were destroyed, some seriously. I immediately contacted the proprietor, Edward, who said that he could possess his”wood pro” contact me to schedule some time to come outside to evaluate the damage. I advised him that there was harm to some leather sofa, my washer and drier and into a stainless fridge that a”wood pro” might not be in a position to fix. He said that those will all be addressed but that in order to move, I have to cover the moving fee in total. I informed him I wished to spend half before the issues had been solved, but he said it has to be compensated in full. I reluctantly paid the movers plus they abandoned.
The following day I contacted the”wood pro” myself to program a time to come back to appraise the damage. During the afternoon of the consultation, a couple moments ahead of our scheduled appointment, I got a text message telling me that the he wasn’t able to keep the appointment as the proprietor, Edward, wouldn’t request him to come back and evaluate the damage. I immediately contacted Edward who advised me that the problem will be addressed but that he had a damage claim form to be finished first. In addition, he asked photos of this damage. Throughout the exact identical telephone conversation, I also informed his that his movers had obtained a big cloth tarp which I had bought and that I needed which tarp returned or to be paid for the replacement price of this tarp ($30).
On 6/5, I emailed the completed claim form, together with pictures of those damages. Additionally, I noticed that the stolen lurks in my mail address.
On 6/10, I got an email reply from D-Town movers who”Household goods carriers also have 90 days from your reception of a promise to cover, decline to cover, or make a firm settlement offer in writing, to a landlord”
On the next 89 times, I tried to get Edward more than 20+ instances (telephone calls, text messages and emails). I was unable to talk right to Edward and all texts and mails get no reply and also all messages asking Edward return my telephone had been dismissed.
On day 90, I made yet another phone to Edward. This time I managed to talk together and he promised me that he’d be monitoring the appointment to the”wood pro” to emerge.
Ever since that time, I’ve made many more attempts to talk with Edward to have this problem solved. I’ve been in a position to get Edward about the phone 3 days. Every time he said he had been scheduling time to the”wood pro” to emerge and could return my telephone call. I’ve not got any calls from him.
It’s currently day 116 and I’m no nearer to getting my furniture fixes or getting reimbursement for those damages.
