The team moved me immediately and were very professional. The team came on time and called ahead to tell us they had been on the road. They wrapped everything well so no harm occurred and used pads and blankets at no expense to me personally. I will def. Utilize them in the long run for my motions and would urge them to family and friends.

Two movers came at our place within the time frame they said they would. After there CROSS STATE would like to waste time by taping items which didn’t have to be recorded and wrap the beds together with shrink wrap. This isn’t told before as a tool that’s required for them to perform. In tape alone they additional $56.00 for my invoice and shrink wrapping was just another $90.00. Both gentlemen employed my resources to breakdown furniture. We’d Dolly’s along with other moving equipment to move boxes in larger amounts simultaneously, this didn’t occur. Boxes were transferred one at a time possibly two occasionally. The movers do so so that they can add on additional time to your invoice (every hour is 139.00). I’m highly upset since both of these”movers” didn’t do the job effectively the initial 4 hours which were included(each groupon). Rather they requested that I assist them so as to help accelerate the procedure after we started to approach the four hour mark. I didn’t want my invoice to continue to grow unnecessarily so I assisted. Among those employees would”wrap”(compulsory ) myself and furniture and another employee would take matters to the cargo elevator. I’d return and another employee would vanish for at rent 15mins at one time. The employee that was wrap the furniture even stated that he wished he had somebody like myself supporting him all of the time. The majority of the confusion came together with the entire cost. Purchasing a groupon for $259.00 that is includes a $560.00 worth means nothing. Do not do it. I checked with the Department of Transportation and exactly what they were saying wasn’t within law. Last, my things were delivered 1 MONTH after I transferred and 40 percent of the products were missing or damaged. The things they did provide was moist and muddy (particularly the mattress and couch ) and the boxes needed ants crawling from these. I already spent 1 month living from a bag and had to deal with this business, but I want to warn others not to do business together to stop them with the stress. It’s improper that companies ought to be permitted to operate in this way.

Don’t utilize cross-state moving. The direction is completely dreadful, and the support even worse. All of our boxes have been smashed and mangled. The proprietor game me his sentence for a man that he would pay for the fix. He didn’t. After repeated efforts to get JUST HALF of what it cost us to fix our house he refused to meet his sentence. Owners that LIE and have zero INTEGRITY are not worth your small business. Trust me, avoid this business.

I hired Cross State Transferring for my own movement and was quite disappointed. The first surprise was I was advised a review of this distance and volume of furniture wouldn’t be needed – 3 hours with 2 guys and a truck ought to be adequate. All very well – however, it was shown to be incorrect. First: 2 guys revealed, one quite old guy and one quite heavy man who. They both tired out fast and caused me to feel so guilty that I ended up carrying only as far as they did.
Secondly: the truck that they attracted was a 26 foot truck which was way to large to your Navy and obtained stuck.
The guys didn’t manage my classic furniture attentively, they destroyed my box spring together with the sole comment being: well, simply fix this, and normally exuded the feeling of never caring at all about whatever. After we touched my new residence, they decided they had enough. After putting everything from the parking lot that they stated the had to proceed. I socialized with them requesting them to remain, but with no luck. They believed that they had been performed and there wasn’t anything that I could do in order to convince them to remain on. That I was – left with my items regardless of where near where they had been presumed to be.

When I called the company to complain the supervisor came back to me stating that his guys said I requested them to leave – which can be a flat out lie. I maintained the busted box spring but have not heard anything in Cross State Movers for months months. Once I eventually called them, they refused to cover me to the broken box spring. Their explanation is , that their insurance does not insure Ikea furniture. GREAT!

Stay away from Cross State Movers. It is a really unpleasant place to manage!
