    Long-distance move from Chicago, IL
Good movers, but someone is a thief

These men worked really difficult, during a gloomy rainy day. We steered every man $25, bought Gatorade on these, and gave off a couple of things, such as a $175 shuttle heater into the team. So it is super upsetting that a purse of jewellery I never packed (that will be my bad…I’d concealed it in our mattress period once we went from town, merely to be secure, since it comprised family heirlooms along with my most prized bits ), somehow ended up in our new location. . .but I never discovered it. How can I understand it ended up in our new location? Since among those honest movers discovered that a single earring in the tote AT OUR NEW PLACE and lent it to my spouse (who had been still an idiot and just threw it into his pocket and did not inform me until another day once I was freaking out over having forgotten about the tote from the bedframe and unpacking all but not finding the tote. . .he was just like”oh that a fine man handed me among the wedding rings”). SO…a very small bag of jewellery comprising two pairs of rings, three rings and a necklace is not packed but concealed in a mattress frame which the movers take aside in the old location. The bag will not make it someplace in the new home and can be opened enough that one earring drops outside. However, I never discover the bag.
Amazing movers. But among these is a burglar.

    Job done right!

This business is the best company I have ever used to get a transfer. They were amazing in the booking all of the during the end of the move. The team actually personalized my movement. The movers were professional, quickly, and careful with my belongings. I would strongly recommend them and will definitely be using them again.

    Unprofessional Crew

While I gave them 5-stars for my movement on 10/28/19, it is sad to think that my very first experience on 10/25/19 could simply be graded a 1-star. You might ask why move out of a 1-star into a 5-star? The solution is simple – it is all about the team they deliver. Tony and his group were awful. They didn’t introduce themselves if they arrived to the home; the odor of alcohol and cigarettes was nauseating. Tony’s mindset was demeaning and disrespectful. Only so things could be in view, and that I do not seem like a complaining person; if it was time to cover, Tony said:”view we work collectively, and now you can give me a fantastic tip.” Nope, I walked off and let my partner handle it. So do I believe Crescent Movers is a trusted firm; the response is straightforward. Yes, with the ideal crew. I would advise that you request Johny, Lu, and Jay exactly what a difference a group makes. To Crescent Movers, ” I state the face of your organization is the team, so be certain that they are friendly, professional, and respectful.

    Lack of Professionalism

I apologize for the very long review ahead of time, but it is well justified. To people that are arranging a transfer with Crescent Movers, I’d love to offer fair warning to anyone contemplating hiring their solutions. Our family has used their business quite a few occasions previously and so we’re quite certain in the services that they provided. Before our most recent move, we’d also known their company into other family and friends, where we’ve now come to repent.

We’d commissioned their solutions before this season on February 26th, 2020 using a movement that has been inside precisely the exact same township. Throughout the transfer, a variety of things were ruined. One of these products was a fresh new 55 at’ Samsung TV valued at $400 which has been bought only 5 weeks before our move. Other things which were broken were smaller items such as picture frames, glass jars and Yankee Glass Candles which are overburdened in a worth of 30 themselves. These smaller things were split between 2 boxes, obviously tagged FRAGILE, where were either mishandled inside the truck and fell in the road. The mind mover, Luis, said to us that he’d fall one of those boxes at the road that was tagged brittle. Never did he mention that items fell from the box on the street. After the snow had removed the next day, signs of broken glass were strewn about the sidewalk in front of the property.

Of the roughly $450 value of ruined possessions, we’ve not got one cent in recompense, despite the fact that among the group members publicly confessed that the delicate contents of those labeled boxes were ruined up on his error of dropping them at the road.

For this day, we’re also overlooking wooden shelves which visit a hutch that we’d also purchased 5 weeks before our move. Since the transfer, we’ve made many telephone calls, in addition to multiple routed emails, all of which have been discounted. After repeated attempts, we eventually got in touch with a part of the firm named Jimmy, where we had been issued an apology and have been advised to supply them with the brand and version # of our TV. We were subsequently told that we’d be sent a replacement when the firm had investigated various retailers to find the best cost. The matter of our additional damaged things and shelves that were missing were not confessed, however after a few unanswered correspondence, we had been temporarily pleased with the reimbursement of a replacement TV and could ask regarding the lesser valued things at the time, yet again.

After an whole week had transpired without a word from the business, we had been forced, once more, to make repeated telephone calls over the span of many days in a bid to acquire an upgrade. When we were eventually able to get a hold of somebody accountable for our reimbursement, a worker called Brian, informed us they’d no longer have the ability to help us out, nor replace our TV, asserting that since the TV has been wrapped by us, the client, they weren’t responsible for any harm that the thing continued throughout the transfer. Being that my husband and I aren’t professional movers, we put a bubble wrap that we had left over from packaging boxes and put it across the LED display, convinced that the corporation would fortify our amateur attempts. They decided not to and for this, our TV was chipped in the procedure summarily running the display.

The carelessness of these movers, where we put our entire confidence in, has led to damages equal to about 80 percent of what we paid for their solutions. After carefully assessing the arrangement, nowhere did it say that any product packed from the client before the transfer exempts the business of any liability for damage sustained to said thing. They’re utilizing a weak excuse to abdicate themselves of their harm in which they’re completely responsible. Besides the careless attempts of their workers the day of the move, the workplace managers have demonstrated a clear lack of professionalism for your month and a half that we’ve made innumerable attempts to reach them out. What my husband and I locate worst of all would be your organization’s unwillingness to stand behind their errors and take responsibility for their flaws. To anybody contemplating Crescent, learn from our errors. Prevent them at every price, since they’re not to be reliable.
