    Long-distance move from Ohio
    Excellent movers!

Cleveland Moving Business did a Amazing job moving our company by Ohio to Tennessee.   We’re a medical device company and they hauled out cryogenic things with the utmost caution.   Everything came on time (in fact sooner than we anticipated ), and the movers were very professional and courteous.   I strongly recommend this provider.

    Long-distance move from Ohio
    WARNING! Read my experience.

Hello, my name is John. I’m writing this review in reaction to this incredibly bad customer support that the Cleveland Moving Co. provides. I am here to warn anybody else who’s considering using their solutions, to think twice. The point is, do not expect anything which breaks to get fixed… and it’s extremely probable things WILL break. Additionally, the direction in this business is the worst of any startup I have ever struck. That’s my TL;DR variant. Now this is the Complete accounts:

On the afternoon of the movement, everything was moving fairly smooth. I even bought lunch for the movers. I had been totally happy with the friendliness of this moving team. Their friendliness is not in question in any way, but their professionalism and skill level certainly is. There was a different moment I heard them banging on my door trying to induce a sofa through a door resulting in my cellar. I asked the movers when they’d take the door away before attempting to induce a broad sofa through it. They said”we could get it” and proceeded to literally blow a hole through the frame of my doorway where the doorstop fulfilled, and hammering a deep ditch to my flooring (see attached images ).

Again, the gentlemen were quite wonderful. They took photos and sent it back for their own company office, where they ensured me that the issue will be rectified. This is where the story becomes interesting…

For 2 weeks I received zero contact by Cleveland Transferring Co.. I thought they must have been occupied, so I just followed up myself. The operator (Jasmine. . .very sweet woman ) offered the repair job to a builder (Jerry). At least I thought they did. They need to have forgot that also, but I finally followed up enough time to get Jerry’s number myself.

Nicely Jerry was too occupied with a lot of effort (assuming from the rest of the homes the firm has broken. . .again that is MY premise, no facts here) to come and assist me. As soon as I called Jasmine in the Cleveland Moving Co. ago, the proprietor said the repairs weren’t any more the organization’s duty (blew my head, also ), and that it is from the hands, and I need to manage the builder myself.

After blowing a gasket on the telephone to Jasmine (I am sorry Jasmine, I should not have gotten so angry!) , I was at least able to acquire a title of some other contractor from the business, who I can contact myself. Sadly, this builder (Fred) was also too busy, and essentially ignored my texts and texts (at least Jerry was fine about it).

Following three and a half an hour I finally managed to get on Jerry’s program (without the support of the moving business, mind you). Jerry, a fantastic handyman, had zero problem fixing my doorway. He was quite fast and considerate, and the doorway seems excellent! Regrettably, he stated he couldn’t correct the ground, as that wasn’t his experience. I am thinking”here we go again… time to call the Cleveland Moving Co. to locate somebody who can really correct the flooring…”

Today THIS takes the cake. Here’s the Answer to my query (email… that they Wouldn’t phone me back after attaining out several times):

    John,

The wear and tear on any flooring is extremely high, because it’s used daily.
Throughout any movement is is usually understood that there’s additional strain on particular surfaces.

Should you believe that these surfaces couldn’t handle extra strain, then you need to have covered the OR requested us to pay for them.

The pictures show minimal use, which could have and finally will result from regular action.
After reviewing the pictures we’ve discovered that they fall beyond our accountability.

If it disturbs you, then please use wax (match colour at Home Depot) and a buffer to pay up it.

    Alex

I called Alex to discuss this through. I needed this to be rectified, also understood the business was responsible. After essentially being told I had been lying about the circumstance, I told Alex I was really disappointed at the Cleveland Transferring Co. client assistance, and wished to speak to the proprietor. He said the operator would not do anything for me personally, and he would not forward me on. I then stated I had been contemplating reporting this scenario into the Better Business Bureau. Alex stated the BBB does not frighten him, and neither do my dangers. Those were his precise words.

After some digging to the business (yea, it has gotten to the stage ), I found that ALEX WAS THE OWNER. He intentionally tricked me on the telephone and explained he was not the proprietor. If everything else was not sufficient, this is the function that encouraged me to write this review. I have NEVER written one before.

In conclusion, this is my wife and I will be initial house. This moving firm has honestly destroyed the experience for us. The Cleveland Moving Co. is among the cheapest moving businesses around, and there’s a reason behind this. They DID finally send me a cheap flooring repair kit following begging for this, to be honest. I’d only ask you’d take my expertise into consideration so the exact same thing does not happen again. Thank you for your time.

    Long-distance move from Ohio
$1600 in DAMAGES, Took to Court, Won, Still No Payment. *S

Please read all of the way to the finish. The previous email from this particular company was Alex, proprietor, bragging and cussing me out for getting off with damaging my home. STAY AWAY.

The Cleveland Moving Co., or Cleveland Moving LLC, was getting high evaluations from clients on thumbtack.com, nevertheless is rated F to the BBB site. I’ve learned my lesson and this is my story:

I picked Cleveland Moving Co due to its star rating and slightly lower costs. It’s proven to be a traumatizing experience for me personally.

I phoned and talked to Alex about how they handle big furniture. I explained how my furniture was just two years old and in excellent condition, and that I had been hesitant in hiring individuals I did not understand to transfer it. I also stated that I had been in a little apartment and I couldn’t hurt the walls throughout movement out or it’d obviously be docked out of my safety deposit. Alex reassured me that he would use quilts to pay for the furniture, which the little apartment isn’t a problem in any way. I inquired if I had to empty my drawers and he said I didn’t.

I felt personally disrespected through the truck loading procedure. Alex took smoke breaks, didn’t use any security when shifting my big furniture (as promised previously on the telephone ), took a sizable chunk, and many little ones, out of the flat wall whitened hitting it with my own furniture. I needed to fix all of the wall harm prior to departing. He also would stand uncomfortably close to me, touching me, even when speaking to mepersonally, but that is a whole other matter. They took his time with loading the truck, and also PULLED AWAY from the building while my brand new finish table was STILL IN THE ELEVATOR. I ran after the truck crying, and they returned to receive it.

We left at precisely the exact same time, ceased for a brief errand, and still beat them into the new home. I thought that was strange. They appeared in a rush when unloading the truck, which had been a questionable change from earlier. It had been such a whirlwind that I did not detect all of the harm that has been done to each bit of furniture! After they finished, they said I needed to scrutinize the truck to be certain everything was outside. In doing this, they understood my giant mirror (the one thing that they wrapped up) was still in there. I then pointed out that there have been a few dings and gashes in my brand new wood furniture. Now, Alex explained that he was”just a motorist,” that was a blatant lie, and was merely licensed to provide a $25 reduction for damages. I understood that he didn’t deserve my money, and that I surely did not trust the way he’d”fix” the harm, so I consented. Then he offered a $50 discount if me and the 3 other people who were present would provide him a fantastic score on here! I must not have completed this offer! However, to attempt to rapidly solve the problem I did, and he wrote his own reviews below our mails. Yes-

He even wrote his own reviews and submitted them on thumbtack.com! His evaluation isn’t honest.

Following that, he only gave me a $25 reduction for those reviews, not $50, and dashed off. I then inspected his job and discovered all of the harm (I WISH I can post images for you!) :
He scratched/dinged each and every bit of wood furniture that he transferred. All my drawers which were removed have really chewed corners up from bumping. However, the part that hurt me the most was my tall dresser. I now know why he took a bit more time to get there and why he hurried to depart.

My tall thick dresser (that he abandoned the drawers in) was NOT fastened in any way from the truck. It’d fallen over from the truck and that he neglected to be upfront about it. A dime-sized throw is from the marble shirt (only might have occurred with some force), and each of the 8 grips have been scratched up beyond adjusting. My drawers opened and struck another thing, probably the side of this truck. Alex quickly pushed back the drawers in to hide this occasion, since they were all off course after he abandoned. The trail in the bottom drawer, which might have been encouraging all of the weight from this collapse, WAS BROKEN OFF! It was a $800 new dresser!!!

My buddy and I’ve attempted to rectify the problem with Alex, who lied to my head in saying he was merely a driver. He again lied and told us he isn’t the operator and refused to give out the operator’s information, since he”doesn’t address these kinds of scenarios” After a few emails, he along with his administrative assistant AKA MOM, stated they ordered the grips for me and that they had been on the road. Additionally – after I called to ask about the grips and then asked him why he lied to me about being only a motorist, he explained”accidents happen” AND HUNG UP ON ME! Accidents happen all of the time, but LYING is a conscious choice that he has made since the supervisor of a provider. I never got the replacement manages. They whined.

    This is their website: http://www.thumbtack.com/request/v2hiscuu/bids/9qmdpjsl/profile
I eventually contacted thumbtack, informed them about the untrue inspection he placed below my name, and they allow me rewrite my review. You may notice it on the market, and I had been totally honest and still behaved in the critique. But today after he apparently returned from holiday, watched my critique and emailed me for this answer:

    “Nice comments lol
I’m 23 yo and that I earn 250 million dollars each year. It is possible to go f*** yourselves.”

I took them to court, won, and the judge agreed that there was more than $1600 in settlement.

After discounted emails, aside from ONE inquiring if I would accept $300 *ha*, I’ve still never got a payment.

I trust companies to become professional and that I deserve respect as a paying client. I’m a hard-working man and that I needed to work VERY difficult to purchase that furniture. I kept it in pristine shape since I needed it to be the very first and final bed-set I ever own. Now every time that I look at it, at which I once felt pleased and incredibly happy, I now feel such misery. I can’t think I had been treated so poorly, and now I want to make it appropriate. I really don’t need this man to lie to and deceive some more innocent, hard-working Ohioans.

    Thank you!

PS- Still awaiting this payment, Alex/Oleg. It’d be in your very best interest to still do what’s right (and lawfully registered in Municipal Court). I am not planning to simply let it all go.
