We proceeded from LA to Hawaii with the other organization and everything was fantastic. Moving from Hawaii into Idaho was a tragedy. I opted to your 100% insurance policy only to be certain. We have been given written instructions about the best way best to package. No issue, we used plenty of fantastic packing material. Besides being overdue, all of our boxes came crushed, all our glasses, dishes, anything breakable, broke. Our metal mattress frame has been bent, our monitors and computers had been smashed, I shot more than a hundred pictures of this damage. We were subsequently told that they are denying any accountability because we packaged our own boxes- as they taught us to perform. As soon as I made the education sheet that they said that the best that they could do was reimburse our insurance policy premium. I received my top back but endured readily $15,000 in damage. They did offer me 32 to our 2500 memory foam mattress which has been soaked in plain water like a sponge.

City came through for me and my loved ones during a rather last minute move a week. We had an whole family and two vehicles to maneuver as my husband got a job move to Honolulu. 1 difficulty we had was originally two fewer movers came at our home on the day of moving and packaging but that was quickly rectified when I contacted the Parke they supervisor. She sent out two extra movers to help immediately. The cost has been fair and we’d recommend their services.

The group arrived on time and well prepared. There were ample employees to find the work done well and fast. We did not have a great deal of things but what we have are rather lavish and wanted a great deal of care. The price was well worth the caliber of the work supplied.

City Transferring, while pleasant, were complete not great at their job of moving our things from A to B.

Summary: Movers were nice, nice and quick but had slight damage on a couple of items. Customer service was a complete mess. They neglected to alter crucial information despite repeated efforts do this including not upgrading half of our quote and seeking to charge us $2,300 more for this, and almost sending our items to the incorrect address (which has been misspelled to start with). In general, I would choose somebody else. Additional details below.

The movers were on time, fine, and specialist. They also marginally damaged our most-prized part of furniture among other items. It occurs however, that unwanted gets a 3/5 – they are cheaper and we could fix most all of the harm.

Customer service was dreadful. They had been kind, but sadly ineffective. We needed to alter our destination to the transfer, and needed to notify City Transferring five occasions since, even telling them about the telephone, in print, and during their official types, they never changed the speech before the day before because I asked them about it. If I had not, there is a fantastic opportunity our things could have gone into the wrong location.

The quote procedure was just another headache. When calling to a first quote, the rep stated all that was required was a rough quote and the big pieces of furniture – *this is untrue * – be quite thorough as each sq. ft. not because quote will probably be 2x as much evening of. This could have been nice, except I’d attempted to upgrade our estimate once we discovered we needed to package. They never upgraded the quote and that I just avoided paying an additional $2,300 since I’d in writing that I was attempting to upgrade it – so *get everything in writing*. This, coupled together with downplaying the value of the quote originally, comes off as a little shady. If I had been ungenerous, I would guess that they had been attempting to trap us into paying a higher cost by getting us to leave off things the quote. Though, I’m sure it was merely one of the many mistakes on their end.

In addition they showed up a month after our first pickup. This was the limitation of the allowable moment. Not a huge deal, just something to know about. Should you want your stuff quickly, choose somebody else.

But overall, I would choose somebody else.

A buddy in Hawaii known me to those men. They did not a fantastic job in my move out of La Jolla a week. The price was reasonable and they have been approachable and easy to use.

The quality of the packaging substances

They used was rather good and not one of my items were damaged or lost.

Amazing job from start to end actually. I had been known City to manage my transfer to Hawaii and it had to be carried out fast and also included moving 2 cars.

Everything lined up nicely from when I first contacted them and there were not any surprises on the way. They fulfilled my expectations and that there were not any bait and switches concerning extra costs or time required to finish the transfer.

When we initially called them. We had been going out of Palm Desert to Las Vegas and actually had a reliable moving group which would not cost a lot or be too complicated to take care of. City fulfilled our needs nicely and worked together closely through the procedure to be sure everything went smoothly. The price was fine thinking about the personal attention and the care they revealed with moving our items. There wasn’t any damage or loss or some other difficulties during the procedure.

I needed to move again to get work and this opportunity to Seattle. Fortunately I do not have over the usual studio values of all things.

City did a terrific job for me again and that I had no problems in any way. This time they also hauled my car for me personally and also the price for the transfer was quite fair.
