This firm (Steven’s, Northwest or Cherokee transferring and Storage, all connected and of Burlington, Washington, could be fine for a local movement, however I believe interstate movements are all more than their heads. I had been confident that this firm would transfer our possessions from Friday Harbor, WA into Fort Collins, CO.. Our things are in their possession throughout the whole move. Fourteen days after our items were packaged and were at Burlington (their workplace area ), I had been advised that the transfer was likely to be switched on to Joyce Van Lines, a company that I had never heard of or spoke with. I had been given no justification for this particular nor was I given a date which our things are at Fort Collins. On September 13th I had been called by a catalyst for Joyce Van Lines who stated he had our items. He made arrangements to meet with me at our storage device in September 17th. In addition, he explained that another trucking firm had hauled our possessions (he believed it had been Yellow Freight) in Burlington, WA into Denver, in which he picked up the burden. On the day of shipping, the driver advised me that he could not move with the unloading before I generated a Cashier’s Check payable to Cherokee Storage and Moving for the whole quantity. I watched the petition sheet, where the proprietor, Joyce Bailey, requested the Joyce motorist to over-night the test so that she would”fulfill citizenship”. The motorist for Joyce and his team did a nice job of transferring our possessions from the truck.
At least three distinct trucking firms managed our things. I really don’t understand if Northwest/Steven’s/Cherokee are at company nonetheless, however beware!
