Cardinal Moving Systems

We’d Cardinal Moving Systems (CMS) prepared to come pick up our family products on October 22 (2011). As soon as I talked with them on Tuesday, October 18th, we affirmed the pickup date and I informed them that I’d reconfirm per day or 2 before. I predicted that Thursday and also Friday to reconfirm the Saturday pickup day, but just obtained voicemail. I made two messages one each day. After Saturday Oct. 22 came, we waited patiently for CMS to come get these items. Nobody showed up. In the end, a dispatcher called and stated that they had us down to next week to find out our items. I cautioned him that now was the pickup day. He then stated he had the choice up scheduled for Monday the 24th. I told him that for the previous two months I was talking with Noel from CMS that we had been flying out to the 24th and that which required to be cleaned and out by that afternoon (at the very latest). He explained what would be organized and everything goes smoothly. I gave him a deposit, and now when October 24th came they were canceling the pickup. They explained they’d attempt to get somebody out possibly later in the afternoon and that they would phone me back and I want to know…I waited till 8pm the night, and nobody came or ever called me back as promised. The following day was Sunday, and we all had been to depart the island on Monday morning. We’re astounded at the dishonesty, absence of claims and communicating and disrespect that this business gave us. They tried so tough to receive our company to drop through and leave us with no where to turn without a frequent decency supporting us. It is difficult to be stranded with just two weeks to go and no where to turn, and then the movers pull a stunt like this.

These people will promise you the world. But they don’t seem to stop and listen to what they are selling you and then back it up. A quote will stick when they are selling it. But when it comes down to completing the order they either do not proceed and or change the price. These people CANNOT BE TRUSTED. The story changes from day to day including who the owner is and who they claim they are firing to make you happy. They are such liars! I wish there was more that could be done to keep people who do business like they do, out of the business. I spent a ton of money coming out to arrange things for the move as they told me to. Then just before leaving I confirmed everything was done and ready to go. But no one was ever around to wrap things up every time I called over and over, with no messages passed along and no follow up replies. Then another person said they could help, but stated that they cannot provide the service I was sold. If I have to go back it will cost me thousands again to fix what they told me to do. They have now shipped my truck after telling me it was abandoned in Long Beach of all places. Now I will have to pay additional car rental fees on top of new hotel fees to fix this mess. Do not use these people. They claim to be a “stress free” moving company. That’s a load of . . .

Lately my Very Best friend/roommate chose to go out to Hawaii to attend at the University of Hawaii in Manoa. The session was 1 week away from start so that she had no opportunity to pack a great deal of her large things that she wished to take together with her. Ever since her birthday was coming up in a couple of months I decided I’d surprise her by sending everything which belonged to her outside to her new flat ( she already spent lots of cash during her movement in addition to college tuition). I was going out with my boyfriend and she’d purchased nearly all of the things in our house, and so I knew it’d make her happy. I didn’t have any clue about the best way best to make this move happen. Luckily, a buddy of mine needed utilize Cardinal Moving Systems to a few months back ( she is from Arizona) and that she recommended them to me. I’ve got this item with expecting firms who promise you the world but do not even provide you with a moment of the time, therefore immediately I did a little research prior to phoning them. I discovered a few different businesses but they were far too over expensive and impolite. I had to send her a great deal of things yes but that I knew I can get a much better bargain. Therefore I went ahead and called the business. I think Crystal was that the telephone operator’s title. She had been really kind, understanding and knew what she was referring to (unlike many other firms I will not name) Therefore I had a massive collection of things I had shipped outside to my buddy in Hawaii. She also gave me a quotation and I simply couldn’t turn down it. I was really shocked and thought perhaps this was all some kind of hoax. The afternoon of this pick up an extremely great man( can not recall his name) called me and allow me to understand his projected time of birth and really came somewhat earlier. He assisted me re install the laundry system since I didn’t find out how to and loaded everything else that has been going to be sent out at the vehicle. He managed each of the things carefully and quite softly, even things that might have only been chucked and would not brake. I really don’t recall how much time it took to send but that I know my very best friend called me yelling. She was incredibly excited and joyful about the shock delivery I had set for her. She told me all her things were in excellent condition and that she had been quite delighted with their solutions. This review I’d save is by the both of us. I’ve used other excellent moving firms before but not like Cardinal. They have excellent customer support and really care about their clientele. I am quite glad I really stuck together and even until today I’m shocked about how lovely their pricing has been. To all of the other disappointed clients, I am not too confident of what occurred but I really don’t see how anybody would not be pleased with those individuals. Thanks for saving me cash, and also helping me help my buddy be joyful. You guys are just the very best. .

This critique is based on our adventures so far. . .first we called and got the data for our automobile, which was assumed to take 3 months, roughly, from shore to shore. Ok, we thought, let us send it early enough so that it’s readily available for pick up shortly after we land back to the mainland. Nothing was mentioned throughout the trade period that we would be charged a daily fee to put away our automobile once it got there. Unfortunately….the sucking from our hard earned bucks had started. Our truck came at lightspeed time. . .we began getting emails and calls every day telling us to pick up our truck. LOL, we still had two weeks before we flew off the staircase. We had to cover them to maintain our truck for us, even though THEY misquoted the time that it would require for it to ship. Included in the process were all of the hassles of miscommunication between the sales folks, us, along with the true shipping folks. Harrowing minutes spent making desperate telephone calls to the primary office for information. There was a place in the delivery depot at which all of the desperate clients moved, a type of’freak out and call the salesperson couch’, where all of the clients were accumulated creating loud and shrill voiced calls for their individual’contacts’ about their vehicles. Wow! I went into the rental vehicle and allow my fiancee perform the dance of despair with the rest of the men and women. SO! THEN….being the type of people who enjoy easy, friendly, and helpful sales people. . .well, of course we reserved our family proceed with Cardinal….yay! We enjoyed Frank. The projected time period from HI home to OR home was 3-4 months….we presumed it would be somewhat longer, figured at the price of leasing furniture on both ends, paper provides for our dining requirements, and calculated the ideal date to schedule pickup in HI in order to alleviate a lengthy lag on the opposite end (the household is travelling all around the area and we did not wish to leave grandmother in the home to tend to the movers. . .she’s 82 for crying out loud!) And, here I sit. . .its been a day or two shy of 4 months. . .haven’t heard a phrase. My fiancee called them this morning and was told’well, we’re running at least 21 days outside. . .so, it might be 3-6 weeks..we’ll phone you.’ NO FREAKING WAY! My 82 year-old mom in law, along with her caretaker (fortunately she’s only turning 50 and can be handicapped,,,much better to take care of the movers), make to take care of the movers, cuz the rest of us young and spry people in our clan will soon be travelling. SO: Caution; IF you intend to invest more money on your car or truck shipping than intended, in addition to the delight of having dunning calls in the reception site, and add that into your financial plan. . .plus. . .click click of the calculator keys. . .add 45 days into the quoted time to your furniture proceed, by all means, use this organization! In general, it had been the toughest thing EVER, to move from Oahu to the mainland. . .crying adolescents, gloomy grandma who does not need to be cold, even us adults that can miss plate lunches, slippers, and even’Hawaiian period’, mahalo really much. . .but to possess the wonder of those additional advantages? Well, I would rather have understood exactly what I was coping. . .oh, wait, I thought it did! LOL. Stay tuned….after I move call Rent-A-Center and layout some furniture from family garbage I will begin a small journal of those days that I spend waiting. Finally I will attempt to offer the entire time for our relocation,when and if it ever happens (I maintain beliefs that we’ll really get our things ), and place it for everybody on this site to see. Oh, wait, an afterthought: I do not believe we even got a record from the movers at HI (who had been AWESOME, they had been the best. . .seriously, they did the work for Cardinal,,damn, who were they? I shall check) for our overall count (boxes/furniture.) I’d double check with all the huge man, but he took mother out for a run and power lifting course in prep for her big day with all the movers.

NIGHTMARE MOVING EXPERIENCE WITH CARDINAL MOVERS!Moved from HI to CADo don’t anticipate this business or their workers.   I only had a dreadful experience from start to end.   I’m calling and writing The Better Business Bureau, The Department of Transportation, and also filing a Little claims law suit.The Certain people I coped with that were all dishonest and unprofessional comprise:KAHALA DURRETTNOEL ZOMETAFRANK RIVERAGAL ABAELKahala didn’t Appear for our first meeting then whined about that.   She suggested to me that the 750″Complete Pack” comprised packaging at source and unpacking and reassembly of furniture in destination.   UPON DELIVERY DRIVER REFUSED TO UNPACK AND AFTER SEVERAL CALLS TO CARDINAL DISPATCH I WAS TOLD THAT SERVICE WAS NOT IN MY CONTRACT.   I must have read All of the fine print.   The unpacking and re-assembly had been guaranteed by Kahala Durrett along with the foreman who arrived to package my own furniture.   It appears they make this verbal guarantee for a Means of securing your Small Business but then deny it on another end.PICK UP:3 employees arrived in my home for the”packaging”.   Among the three said that it had been his very first day.   He was large and powerful and fine but obviously had no packaging ability.   I caught him several times placing glass bits straight into boxes unwrapped and with no padding.   The second employee was a youthful little man who played with blaring rap songs using profane lyrics.   He spoke incessantly and I grabbed him leaping on my sofa.   He said that he was”just messing about”.   The foreman was a Fantastic employee and appeared to Attempt to be careful packaging but he Couldn’t see another two and package in Exactly the Same time.   At one stage an Extra truck came with 3 other men.   This really slowed down the task since they were all doing more speaking, eating, and smoking which functioning.   They left smoke wrap, butts, and meals crap in my lawn.   I grabbed the next truck foreman (brief and morbidly obese man ) placing my pricey art Right on the driveway cement when packaging it.   I needed to ask him to not smoke while managing my products.   Among the other employees suggested to me that they Weren’t presumed to be in my own house and stated,”our supervisor believe were still at other occupation but we ended previously”.   They fell my sofa whilst moving down the staircase which led in holes in my wall. They shot my hands truck once they left although it Wasn’t tagged.   The younger, little child carved in message that he enjoys his girlfriend in my drive. They place a box of the crap into one of my boxes that I discovered once I was unpacking today.DELIVERY:The motorist, a Russian man shows up and informs me straight away that he Isn’t likely to shut or re-assemble anything.   In Addition, he informs me that it’s 100 feet in the 74 feet truck into the storage container and whatever over 75ft is another”long haul” $75 charge.   He says that my bill is another $100.   It is obvious that the reason it is 100 feet is that you simply can not simply park a 74 feet truck everywhere.   I emailed Gal Abael the afternoon before requesting confirmation that my merchandise will be determined upon delivery.   Her reply:”And yes,  the motorist unpacks everything.” While I call her she now says,”sorry, my English Isn’t really great.   I didn’t imply they’d unpack”.   I offered a copy of her email for my own lawyer that will be very Difficult for Cardinal to contend against.   Then another man reveals that the motorist hired by a temp agency Who’s a day laborer and not even a specialist inspector.   As they Begin to unpack, they fall the very first box that they touch.   Interior was two costly vases and a costly large ceramic badge.   All crushed and ruined. Subsequently they start unloading everything on the driveway.   About 45 mins after it begins pouring rain and now all my stuff is still getting soaked.   I phoned my sister and brother who both left their jobs to come assist with the unloading.   The three people worked nonstop for 7 hours along with the motorist and temp employee.   Since the motorist and Cardinal refused to assist with the unpacking, I needed to pay to lease another storage room to adapt my products. About 60 percent of my professional books are destroyed.   My teak bookshelf has been destroyed.   The carvings and vases are all history.   Several other things are damaged or dented.   I Didn’t purchase extra issuance that needless to say I repent.   The free insurance insures 60 cents a pound.   I am not satisfied!   I am out an additional $200 per month at storage fees.On the other hand, The Russian motorist eventually consented to waive the 100″long haul” fee since he noticed that my brother, brother, and that I needed to do seven hours of hard labour from the rain that will help him get the job done.   In addition, the temp hire labour man remained on his own time  after the motorist made to assist us that was really fine of him.I do not have energy or time to get a tiny claims law suit, letters to the BBB and DOT, etc., my experience has been so devastating and dreadful I need to attempt and save others in precisely the identical heartache I’m experiencing.

I moved with Cardinal 3 times and Ihave had pretty good experiences so far. One of the times there was damage to my TV screen, but it was just tape that came off with cleaner. This last move about a month ago was the best yet. We had three guys, their names were Jose g., Frank, and Payton, who were so friendly and easy to work with. They made the move so easy. They were also easy to communicate with and took care of our stuff as if it were their own. They were courteous, hard-working and respectful, and my 70″ television was moved without a hitch!If I could be guaranteed to get these three guys again, I will always choose Cardinal.

This  firm does not understand what it is doing.  Needed to call them once I picked up my truck in Maui since it had been delegated to be picked up with a Laura and NOT BY ME.   When I sent my automobile back to Henderson, NV  there were delays after delays and Cardinal and Ronnie that the dispatcher whined saying that my truck was likely to be picked up on New Year’s Eve (12/31/12) and sent by 3pm into NV to precisely the exact same day.  Telephone call was never returned to me personally and that I made8 calls for Cardinal one afternoon and 5 the preceding day.   These guys are a joke.  That they alreay have my currencies and truly don’t appear to care 1 bit about me and also their advertisement saying that the transfer could be anxiety free is even a bigger joke.
AS OF TODAY 12/31/12 1pm a new person on the end of the phone says:  the vehicle is going to probably be picked up on wednesday and delivered to me on thursday.

This is my very first experience with having a moving company and that I was really pleased with my selection.  I chose them due to their great reviews and their quotation was quite reasonably priced.  I asked a number of my friends who’ve moved lately about the movers that they employed, and each single one of these stated that they wouldn’t suggest the companies that they picked.  Fortunately I discovered Cardinal Moving Systems on Yelp.Lior, avi, along with avi proved quite courteous.  They had us totally moved in around three hours and were eager to move round the furniture because we saw fit.  Fortunately I did not have a great deal of furniture so that I did not occupy a lot of the time with this, but I presumed it was good for them to offer you.  These movers appeared to be cautious (without a busting ), and requested me to appear in the rear of the truck to verify what was outside.  I’m happy to have a terrific first experience and I certainly plan on using them again in the future.

I’m posting this here following my very first review because of my latest service was deleted out of Yelp. What is my experience:

I used them in my transfer out of LA to Maui and they did a fantastic job. But 2 decades later, I used them again in a project related move to Montana. I contacted my prior rep, and everything went smooth. . .until the three day window for transferring. 

The day before flying into Montana, the movers (AFTER hoping to cancel) were 4 hours late, coming at 8:20de (4 hours ago the most recent time they were assumed to arrive) and we could not load up as my storage location had closed. As a result of this, I missed the majority of my going away celebration with all of my buddies. So the only option was to return next day, which ran so late, I essentially was sprinting to create my airplane flight. I attempted to speak to my rep, and advised him I was angry and can anything be done to help make this appropriate. . .and he totally ignored me. I tried a couple more times in the forthcoming weeks, but nevertheless dismissed.

I sent my things July 13th, and had been advised it’d head to Seattle, in about a month, and then visit Montana. Instead. . .they sent it to Los Angeles, and consequently, it’s currently 10/15, and I am getting  my things 90 DAYS once I sent!! In this time period, the communication has become non-existent. Each time I call, noone can take my phone….everytime I email- I’ve been completely disregarded.

As a consequence, I am posting this review to notify one to RUN!!!! Don’t use this business for ANYTHING. Read about them on Yelp- there are far more stories than mine.

If you would resist their blackmailing, then They’d even endanger you from the physiological injury!!!     This Is the Way CARDINAL MOVING SYSTEM CONDUCT THEIR BUSINESS!!! THE CROOK WHO CLAIMED TO BE A HIGH-RANKED CMS OFFICIAL, BUT REFUSED TO GIVE ME HIS NAME, TOLD ME THAT I DON’T HAVE A CHANCE BECAUSE THAT IS THEIR COMPANY POLICY AND They’re DOING IT FOR OVER 15 Decades.   I will not offer a [EDIT] for the pleasant postings relating to them. The human character is to stay quiet when the things go as they need to, but talk when they do not. The crooks of the tier would definitely don’t have any difficulty to publish the stories that are flattering about themselves, and although even the greatest crooks can do something great occasionally, the amount of those easily written optimistic posting comprehensively equilibrium those from indignant clients. This quote is just perfect. Missing things, broken things, broken furniture, no return telephone calls, the movers on the Big Island are AHOLES, they do not care for you or your things and don’t have any regard for either. Charged $500.00 to crate a ATV that was wrapped in cardboard, big tool boxes on wheels, totaled, and the list continues. Everything was triple wrapped so to prevent breakage, family heirlooms are irreplaceable, and if they started the back of the moving truck in Hawaii, it seemed just like the truck rolled a couple of times. Unacceptable.
Find another corporation.

50 percent of the hardwood furniture have been damaged (cracked or broken or loose bones ) because of unprofessional packing and rough handling. Worse was quite stingy and slow promising procedure. Complete settlement is only 5 percent of my overall damage of more than 4000. Very poor experience.

Fast forward to 45 days after my things were still not in Hawaii where I jumped to. The business kept telling me because of the holidays that my matters could be delayed by two weeks. They eventually showed up mid January. 6 of my boxes had dropped the labels along with the moving firm nearly gave off one of my boxes into the prior people they sent to. The moving business in Hawaii maintained speaking about the 5 staircase we’ve like they wanted to charge us but didn’t. Its just annoying to have them perform this. The plastic bins I’d all were broken on the floor. Upon shifting my microwave does not work correctly, you open the door and it simply starts microwaving. In addition, the furniture that they packaged was dinged and dented. I compensated for the extra insurance presuming this would insure me and I’d be insured. But when I registered my claim that they stated microwaves could just be covered if the exterior was ruined so mine could be covered.
