    Service and price

Inspite of my own apprehension  which come to figure out was just mine. With out Capitol City Movers I’d have been missing. Everything but the real movement was postponed or rescheduled. The movers came as scheduled and even called beforehand to tell us who was coming outside. They took our beds apart unhooked appliances and also provided a voucher I didn’t have. Because my last move I’ve called them to my sister that adored them. Everything which was projected over the telephone weeks before was the same in the conclusion of the move. In fact I saved me several bucks with the voucher. No nice and damages. Good job guys and we are going to use you all again should we ever move.

    Awesome job again

Second half just like the first. Since the movers had completed such an ideal move for our loved ones, then includes our 90 year old dads house that’s been occupied as my youth. (Meaning furniture in addition to furniture) Tony,John and Larry showed up as consented took you look and behaved like it’d be nothing. . .Right. . 12 hours after they’d transferred a 3 bedroom house all of the appliances and also a six-foot 2800lb gun protected. I really don’t know how there backs nevertheless get the job done. Thank you guys for the stunning transfer and many off all of your due diligence in the issue. With no hitch and obtained a duplicate customer discount. Beautiful

    HEAVY HEAVY HEAVY

Second time about moving and utilizing CAPITOL CITY MOVERS also it doesnt get any better. Was i wrong! In the new home we had a 8 chair sectional sofa with all the recliners and pull out bed constructed inside. HEAVY HEAVY HEAVY! Do to new structure the front door wouldn’t be an alternative for this specific piece of furniture. (Not enough porch constructed yet) without realising those movers transported by hand my 350 pound slough off the walkway through tall grass round the front, side and all the way into the rear side in through the patio door afterward home door back into the front living room which had down 4 steps to. With no single rest, with no rub, scratch or tear. As though this wasn’t bad enough my spouse later chose to move the exact same sofa into a adjacent room. No complaints against your movers, no additional charges. Just fantastic support. The movement lasted somewhat longer than anticipated, But between the heat indicator, new structure and also my wife it was to be expected. Fantastic job guys and well done, thanks. If you’re moving these would be the movers which you want that you desire.

    Met expectations

The time that we scheduled with this business all appeared to go well. The business was on time and the movers were quite quickly and courteous.Took somewhat less time in my spouse and I believed. Which was great. We initially thought this could take two days because the time went by so quickly we moved forward and moved the storage also. We’re extremely satisfied with the way this movement happened and would recommend them to some one that requires a dependable moving business.

    Great Company

Capitol City Movers took on a project for me which was somewhat odd to say the least. In the procedure for closing on a new house (60 times ) and moving for work to some other town, capitol city movers were there to rescue the day or when I say days as it came into my family’s moving needs. They’ve already performed one go from Pikeville into Richmond and are advised to transfer me back from storage in Richmond to our new house in Berea. I can not thank those guys enough. Larry is a superb captain of this boat and Robert is your jack of all trades when it comes to moving, packaging, and driving (the dude can back a massive truck in between buildings that a truck shouldn’t ever move ).

    Best move ever!

Sincerely I’ve moved several times through the last few years and have utilized a hand full of businesses. I’ve not ever had such consistently fantastic support with any other firm since I did with Capitol city movers. I’ve used this company a few times and by the minute I advised the project to the conclusion they’ve constantly amazed me with there
Openness to do everything as if be. All of the meeting of furniture and carefulness that it required to transfer my antiques was perfect. The support that they provided in my view was well worth the time required to say thanks and fantastic job. I’d suggest them to anybody who anticipates professional, Polite and reasonably priced movers.

    Nice job

I needed to write this to charge the four movers which came out to our property. All of our stuff has been wrapped and delivered as fine as you can. They were quite polite and took the opportunity to wrap and put all of our high end electronic equipment, disconnected our ice maker in addition to all of our appliances. The baby grand piano that’s been in our family for 2 centuries had been disassembled and sent with no harm despite the fact that they needed to move it up two flights of stairs. The entire cost for the movement impressed me in contrast to preceding moves. They deserve all of the drives to get a move nicely done.

    Fast and on time

I’d known to schedule a transfer for my lease. My tenants had moved out on me and that I wanted a plumber to pick up the furniture which was abandoned. Last minute call using a explanation and funding city known. Showed as anticipated and even picked up a number of the other garbage that the tenants left. Great. I’d have give them 5 stars nevertheless, among these was somewhat grumpy. Hey so be it for your cost and expedience I’d use them again. And so if you.

Do not ever use this moving company

They way over-charged out of their quote for us, we had been given a quote of 1800.00 to maneuver a 3 bedroom home under a tenth of a mile into our new place, they never advised us that we’d need to pay in money until they had the truck loaded and then advised us it would not be unloaded until they had been compensated. They spent more time talking then they failed working. Several things were scraped and box after box were mislabeled as to exactly what was in them. We ended up paying 4200.00 for the transfer since they kept our furniture hostage until they had been compensated. Again, do not ever use this firm.

    Overcharged!!!

Larry lent me a minimum of 3 hours a 85 to transfer possessions of a 1 bedroom flat into a cargo van and proceed a king size mattress and 5 drawer dresser to a local speech in Pikeville. If these things demanded greater than the minimal 3 hours that the receiver of this bed/dresser would cover the extra charge. Another furniture being transferred would be liberated as we had been devoting he and it had a schedule for gifts. The movers came 3.5 hours late in a white box truck without the markers of becoming Capital City Movers. As soon as an hour late, I called Larry and that he wasn’t aware that they weren’t in our place. They vanished during the task for extended periods. The possessions were transferred from the flat into the parking lot. They helped loading one thing from the freight van the remaining items needed to be loaded with people. Everything was transferred from the flat at 2.5 hours including the time that they vanished and the time that the senior inspector spent coaching the new hire inspector. . I had been ready to cover the three hour minimum and I was then told there’s an hour minimal travel time to pay cost of gas and truck. My move didn’t involve some travel time and that I wasn’t advised of this when I put up the transfer. The senior inspector made me feel quite uncomfortable and I’d no option but to pay him in cash. He wouldn’t take a check or charge card that is just another thing that I wasn’t told when I advised the transfer. They left together with another recipients possessions at 6:45pm and didn’t appear to send till after 8 pm. The place was at most 10 minutes off. It took 15 minutes to send the mattress and dresser and they billed that individual for two hours at $85.00. The two movers didn’t work 6 hours and so the move shouldn’t have been a 6 hour fee in $85 an hour. I emailed Larry describing each of the above and requesting a refund of this $85 travel cost and reconsideration of this $170 charge compensated from another man and he reacted instantly that he would explore the charging and move. A week after never heard back from Larry guided me to write this review so others know of the overcharging.
