This is actually the worst moving business ever! Watch out for these. They almost destroyed the majority of my possessions including precious studio products like crates of glass flipped on, a glass kiln using the legs flexed in.

The majority of the boxes and plastic crates have been damaged/destroyed in 1 manner or another. Antique wash racks marble top was cracked. They moved”tape” mad. Floor lamps were totally wrapped in tape. Each one of the floor lamps (3) were all bent, dented and broken. All of my big floor runs are all overlooking.

This company doesn’t even have their very own moving trucks. They use rental trucks. My merchandise came in 2 shipments and among the drivers told me that he was brand new to this project. After he opened the rear of the truck that my products were strewn throughout the rear of the vehicle bed. My couch was lost/stolen in addition to many other products. We contracted with a firm Named Summit Moving and Storage. But, we discovered afterwards that they sub-contracted using California Relocation Systems. We had a 10 X 10 storage device which was about half full. HORRIBLE firm. Run, do not walk away from them!

1)Among these movers showed up drunk and drove my possessions off the rear of the vehicle, and proceeded to sabotage my Aunt and then get into a fight with the driver and foreman. We transferred out of C.A. To N.C.. In our hunt for movers we contacted several businesses and this you had the cheapest cost. But when they revealed, the cost doubled. We recently used them in L.A. into Chicago in July/August. To start with, when making our booking we talked with TOM who looked nice and assured us that they’ve dedicated trucks and weren’t a broker – we thought him. He said we’d get a call 4+days before our pickup date to verify our stock, pick up date, etc.. NOBODY EVER CALLED. We needed to call them two days before our pickup.

RED FLAG #2
During pickup, SAM KHALIFA continued to inform us that we had 1800 cf of truck distance. We transferred from Chicago to L.A. annually earlier and just employed 1200 cf therefore we understood how much distance we had on our yield. SAM compelled us to cover the extra fees for”1800 cf” even before the truck was loaded. In addition, he left before the truck being loaded and never returned backagain. When the remaining”neighborhood” hired team were completed, they stated they couldn’t tell us just how much cf we utilized from the truck.

Now you understand why they just accept cash or money orders in shipping –no method to cancel those!! They have your money and you are stuck cleaning up the clutter —–literally!! All we needed was to receive our furniture into our new house in 1 piece. We entrusted CRS using land. The first quote from CRS was founded upon the dimensions of two storage components & outline of things to pick up in the home together with photos. The five star reviews here most certainly aren’t actual, but I will guarantee that the 1 star reviews are extremely real being that I’ve had, and am still presently using a negative experience coping with California Relocation Systems. On March 4, 2019, I contacted CRS and talked with Tom about moving from California to Maryland. He excitedly supplied a quote of just $1916. I asked him at least 3 times on the telephone if that’s an accurate sum, and he repeatedly assured I would not be paying over that sum pending which I don’t add any large/bulky things such as a”PIANO”. LIE NUMBER #1. I paid my deposit and never heard from Tom again, even when I wanted his help with all the movers. We ordered a pickup date of March 13th, they came the following day. The movers loaded with the truck, then supplied a quotation of $3200. Remember that my first quote comprised a 4 seat dining room place, which wasn’t even loaded on the truck. This was replaced by 2 boxes, which shouldn’t have changed my quotation by much, especially not by $1300. I immediately tried to get on the telephone with a person in CRS, which can be painfully difficult to do unless they’re attempting to generate a sale. The woman that I talked with (can not recall her name) was really rude. She kept explaining that”my items are not a perfect square” so that they take up more space than originally quoted. She even had the audacity to tell me that I should have understood the quotation would not be true, although it’s their software that spits out these bogus quotes along with the salesperson is reassuring that it is accurate. After moving back and forth with her for approximately half an hour, she eventually put someone else about the telephone who managed to decrease that amount to $2600. I was still upset at this erroneous quotation, but at this stage my stuff had been around the truck and that I needed to relocate in another two days. I talked with Dawn to place my very first Available Delivery Date in April 17th, thanks to me being from this country for 3 months. I knew that there is a lag in shipping in the available shipping date to the actual delivery date. They assert that long distant motions may take 3-21 business days. LIE NUMBER #2. It’s now May 15, 2019 (20th business day) and now I don’t have any idea where my items are. The only real way I could appear to achieve Dawn”Customer support” is through email. I’ve had to mail her on numerous occasions to receive a status. All she’s managed to tell me is that”the warehouse has not called her again and she’ll follow me up afterwards.” LIE NUMBER #3. She never follows up, and now I’m having to continue reaching out for her to learn why I still don’t have my items a whole month afterwards. I can only anticipate not having my items for another couple of weeks, and they’ll likely arrive broken and ruined like everybody else has. These guys were fantastic. Had a problem with my first movers and fired them mid proceed. Got connected with George and that he had been totally wonderful through the entire experience. The movers got our belongings out of CA to TX in 3 times, even though there were several broken products. I was paid appropriately for the broken items. So if I could give zero stars I would. I’ve known as the USDOT and California Consumer Affairs office that said the firm has an interstate permit however no intrastate license recorded together. Consumer Affairs will soon be following up on this. The USDOT will explore only should they deem it appropriate and the firm does not follow based Federal Regulations for Shipping and Moving companies. So lets say if you buy [NAME EDIT] as the earnings man he’s the greatest [EDIT] I’ve ever spoke to. So following your loaded you won’t ever hear from him again, he’ll be at a meeting, away from the workplace or on another telephone. He’ll refer you to [NAME EDIT] who’s a part of work herself. OMG! This is definitely the most dreadful, unethical, dishonest business that I have ever been able dis-pleasure to experience. How they run their company goes something like that:
They give you in having a moving quotation that’s below market cost.
You give them a phone, they’re just too pleased to inform you all types of overlook advice about why their support is more affordable, how they can provide discounts etc, etc.. So you enroll using a 30% deposit.
Moving evening comes, they begin moving your possessions on the vehicle and oops there’s a issue! The quotation was incorrect and now the cost is 3 or 4 times longer. They will not take your possessions back off the vehicle and naturally won’t repay your deposit. Actually we had been told that when we canceled we’d need to pay an additional company to gather our belongings from them.
So to make a long story short, after being held to ransom, feeling broken and extorted, we ended up spending 3 times our initial quotation to finish this mess. This was just becoming a third of those possessions delivered.
While I read other testimonials on the internet there are several favorable reviews. One must ask this question: are those from actual individuals? Are they referring to precisely the identical firm?

I denied and again told them to meet me straight back along with the storage device and then unload everything. After another hour I informed them I had been calling the authorities. They eventually got in their truck and simply drove off.

The shipping was supposed to happen within seven days, after two months I predicted (That was a struggle in itself since the amount they gave me moved into voice mail and never got replied ) and they suggested that my furniture was still sitting at California, they guaranteed it’d render at the end of the week.

I called a week later – same story, in this stage I received my lawyer included.

After more than a month they stated my furniture was eventually leaving California. Overall it took almost 5 weeks to the delivery which has been guaranteed over seven days. They stated it was not their fault that nobody wanted to drive into MT!!

When they came in my ranch in Montana they refused to push down a street that heavy gear and enormous trucks push each day – therefore my guys needed to hook up two trailers and drive 5 miles to the end of the street load the furniture and then push it into our place.

There were two broken pieces of furniture – we are moving through everything now to affirm we have everything that’s ours.

I believe the only reason I received my furniture is that I received my lawyer involved and began writing bad reviews that they explained that they needed me to take down.

These folks are con artists and Bullies!

We were overlooking a wheel and shelf to the mattress. They advised my daughter to go to Home Depot to replace it. We never did receive a receipt.

This provider is an absolute joke in the top down. James the proprietor does not have any clue what’s happening and did not care for any client period. We were offered on this business by George Harris who looked like a wonderful man but only lied and lied and lied over and over again. He made claims he could not maintain and 9 days when they loaded our items it eventually came but they!!! Our contract was together and they farmed out us. A wonderful young man appeared now from the business that they subbed out also in the midst of a snowstorm with no aid!!! We paid $2500 to get a complete service transfer and spent the day hauling boxes….we are submitting a complaint with the DOT and likely a litigation. The foreman Steve drove our bulbs to boxes with no security breaking one in addition to a garbage can, sorter and ottoman all of whichwere destroyed. Do not use these folks simply don’t!!!
