Bulldog Movers (works from Atlanta, GA) has been recommended to me by somebody I know who’d recently used them to get their interstate movement. While they weren’t the most affordable of these quotations I obtained, they had been mid-range. The recommendation weighed heavily in my choice to utilize them, as did a positive online reviews I read along with the exceptional customer service that I received from their agent (Donna Holland). I booked the movement about a week or two a week and a half Beforehand. I transferred a 3-bedroom home throughout the country of Georgia. The movement has been priced by weightreduction. My closing price, such as grading (insurance) and two mattress luggage was roughly $2400. This was nearly $400 less than what my quote stated, on account of the simple fact that I clearly overestimated the amount of boxes I’d so that they offered me based to a greater called weight. Therefore a pleasant”surprise” in the conclusion of the movement once I settled up! :-RRB-
“Big Joe” and his team of 3 additional guys came at that time period I had been advised. The movers all introduced themselves and were really considerate. They toured my house, asking questions and making certain they knew what they needed to understand. I moved over paperwork with all the team boss while the remainder of the crew started loading. The loading moved extremely quickly and easily.
The movers left and drove to my new residence. The journey time was approximately 3 hours, which was exactly what was projected. The movers found my new residence, asking me where I needed everything. They were quite ready to re-place furniture when I decided I did not enjoy it at the very first place. They transferred my piano with no hitch. The team boss even made sure that the boxes were placed at the office cupboard in a reasonable sequence –Christmas decorations at the trunk, as I would not need them straight away (I transferred into July) and pubs marked”novels” and”office equipment” at the front. This was excellent!
During the transfer, the movers were quite courteous and professional. They had great attitudes. I believed they handled my possessions with caution. As soon as I mimicked them (separately, with all the team boss becoming a bit more than the others), they were really appreciative.
Once they left, I discovered one little nick in my mind. I think that’s impressive to have just that one little damage throughout the whole movement!!
I’ve moved several times in my personal life, such as moves halfway through the nation. I’ve experienced many rude, unprofessional movers. I’ve dealt with important damages to possessions with different motions. I’ve had poor experiences with movers not revealing when they stated they’d (and in 1 instance, establishing a day early!) .
I have to say, my experience with Bulldog Movers was undoubtedly the very best moving experience I have ever had. I strongly recommend them and will certainly use them again.
STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS MOVING COMPANY!!!! They’ll provide you the run-around, lie to you, rather than adhere to some of the promises. They say they’re’bonded and insured’ in their site, but won’t mend or replace anything that they hurt (that was the vast majority of their furniture along with a very costly wool rug stair runner). Do yourself a favor and save yourself from the inconvenience of coping on this lousy excuse of a corporation.
I’d Provide negative stars if I could
So many things were ruined (they also packaged the home ) glass broken, furniture chipped (not only scraped ) and wooden furniture broken…
4 hours late Arriving for transferring out. Rude, careless and intimidating team. Not there before the day, but angry I didn’t buy them lunch. They really’went on attack’ and sat in the truck for more than an hour, didn’t guard my hardwood floors and ruined them, and although they do not transfer plants…I am looking and searching for my grandmothers rabbits foot fern – I inquire if they’ve seen it, they won’t allow me to view about the truck – would not you know I got it if delivered – lifeless.
My things were in storage for months-and were not in climate control storage since the agent promised
4+ hours late on delivery
Not with a working truck on move out and overdue filing for a license on the method to deliver
I’ve been attempting to document and settle today for over SIX MONTHS. They’re asserting the products were already damaged. They do not wish to cover fixing my own washing machine that came broken – am I supposed to wait for 6+ months to do my laundry?
They didn’t even attempt to tackle damages until AFTER I registered a BBB report.
I am still dealing with the damages. An’inspector’ was shipped out, but Bulldog needs my allowance BEFORE I see exactly what the report states, what they will mend and how much time it could take. The inspector hasn’t answered my query about if he has insurance or not. It has been over 45 days since he had been here, and not only am I using the aforementioned problems, but can’t find an appointment scheduled.
Smaller items damaged, like a box of groups of newspaper, they’re not able to consider and won’t add to pay off my allowance. And, how can you dent a hefty box of newspaper?
My damaged things are because of careless packaging: not using vases on furniture, not wrapping/protecting delicate things correctly, cramming the truck so complete that boxes with strong pieces of styrofoam encompassing items were smashed, packaging another individual’s items at the vehicle caused the group to almost be unable to discover my leather sofa cushions… I’ve lost scarves and hats which have still not been discovered and that I get’well we do not have a means to appreciate those’. The salesperson assured me other people’s things wouldn’t be on exactly the exact same truck.
Other damaged things keep getting tagged’extraordinary things’ so that they do not need to fix or cover them. Or, they say’we indicated that scratched’ fine, but did it have 1, 5 or even 10 scratches, it does not state it had been chipped and it’s plenty of scratches.
This continues to be quite a painful experience, and I expect that soon my things will be addressed correctly.
Bulldog Movers delivered four workers, all of which have been under the sway of marijuana dependent on the powerful odor that has been pouring from the truck taxi and all around their clothing, because of my own move. They came almost two hours late and had I never had to be from their home that day I would have canceled dependent on this. The manager then coerced me in to registering for the most affordable insurance alternative because he said to me that the more expensive alternative wasn’t to pay for damaged possessions but instead if the truck needed a mess or else they captured my house on fire. I stupidly thought him and if they fell my big green egg and then ripped off a light fixture away from both sides of my home the firm gave me $157 to repay the claim and requested that I sign a deal not to”disparage” them into writing. There’s no way in hell I’ll signal that and prefer to eat the measly $157 to place a fair review so other folks dont need to go through exactly the very same problems I did.
We obtained and paid for insurance through Bulldog was to be safeguarded in case that happened. We’ve waited for more than a year to find settlement on the claim for damages which occurred during our movement and yet no response in Bulldog. They’ve delivered their particular claims adjuster to scrutinize our harm but apparently did not enjoy his findings. This happened over 6 weeks ago without a trace up as then. Meanwhile, I continue to need to live with broken products and cover storage for items that can not be utilized. This is just part of my general bad experience.

Hi Mr. Mahnke, we’re likely to hear things did not go as easily as you would have liked. We’re oblivious of your claim before 9 weeks following your move once you eventually filed a promise. After you wait that long to submit a claim, it takes us time to procedure and speak with your team to find the details straight. During that discovery, we had been made aware that you just had our crew move things to a pickup truck and it had been taken to personal storage. When that occurs, you invalidate your mileage policy since there’s not any way for individuals to tell whether the harm was due to us or if it occurred on your private vehicle or private storage device. When you proceed later on, we suggest that you simply move your possessions at the moving firm’s vehicle if you’d enjoy them be insured. Moreover, please note that unless you keep your things in the transferring business’s storage centre, you may void your policy too. Please contact Sandy Taylor when there’s anything else we could describe for you in sandy@bulldogmovers.net
While I could appreciate your effort to justify you not paying anything involving our claim due to everything you believe transpired, you want to be sure to state the details accurately. Yes it’s a fact the Bulldog Movers moved our belongings to a storage device of our picking. The simple fact remains that you packaged and transferred our products to this place and finally moved those products to our final destination. The only things which were packed on into some little pickup truck were these things that we were made to move as you didn’t offer a big enough truck to transfer them. Additionally you state that this is a breach of this signed agreement and yet this is the very first time we’ve heard this claim against Bulldog. In reality before this submitting its the only answer I have discovered from Bulldog in weeks. Even though that were the case why didn’t Bulldog provide us policy or even try to repay the policy level non of that happened. Eventually you state touch Ms Taylor and yet both my spouse and I’ve tried to do this very thing over and over again. In reality I put three calls a week and 2 forecasts this week to accomplish her. The two times I talked with a person in your company Rubin and Jim and both said they’d have Sandy contact me. I am still awaiting that return phone in Sandy or anybody from Bulldog before my submitting a review. Should you really care to know the truth out of your client maybe you need to try reaching me out instead of putting the weight on your clients

Mr. Mahnke, you already stated your concerns on your very first review. Please don’t hesitate to edit this inspection if you’d love to react to us. Developing a new report to depart Another inspection Isn’t Needed
I find it quite sad that once I made another article, you accuse me about making a new account (not accurate ). I am fairly certain you will notice my profile info is exactly the exact same and there’s a char limitation. I am able to see that you’re more curious about how your clients post opinions on Google then you’re with coping with all the damaged merchandise your clients incurred later using your moving business. I think it is appalling that you take cash for insurance just to later tell me it is invalid once you shipped some claims adjuster all the way to Orlando and you also did not enjoy the outcomes of what your own adjuster discovered. Just then and during Google testimonials did we hear anything about the assert
Horrible Horrible Horrible!! I had a buddy who used this business a couple of years with great results, and so I made a decision to ignore the dreadful reviews. BIG MISTAKE! I had the movement reserved for two months and about the day of their transfer, they did not call or show. When I called them I was told,” damn sorry, we do not have a team for you now. They acted as if it was not any big deal or annoyance. They eventually found another team who showed up after 2:00. They charged me over the quoted hourly fee and ruined my brand-new appliances and house.
Following 6 weeks of battling, they’ve agreed that they charged me, however, refuse to repay any cash until I register a non disclosure which provides them total authority to return after me for 3x the sum every time that they feel like it.
Buyer Beware, that can be a whole sham of a business!
I had been quoted $400 and billed $725. My desk has been dropped down the timber stairs. They wouldn’t cover it. I’ve lost things. Among the movers requested me out. They had been so slow and did not reach my new house until 45 minutes later I did. It is 10-15 minutes away from where I proceeded and I had been billed for this moment. This is the worst going experience I have ever had.
They broke my marble desk (prior to leaving my previous home ) and explained that they would take good care of replacing it. 1 month later and nothing. They also ruined my drier and refuse to repair it. In case you have questions please email me timstevens911@att.Net. I’d be delighted to go into detail with just how awful my expertise is with those jokers.
