    Long-distance move from Ohio
    Budget rental truck

I had been interested with the service supplied by this Budget. I moved from Ohio to Michigan leasing a truck in the Budget that was the very cheapest of all that I discovered. And the support…I really like it very much. No any worries should you fall the truck after some directions after hours. Just became a lover of it. I would strongly suggest it for somebody who’s intending to move a very long distance.
    Thanks!

    Long-distance move from Nebraska
    Half Price move

I leased a 24-footer out of Budget at Lincoln, NE and dropped it off in Manhattan, KS. However, my job was to take my burden to close Houston, Texas. Since Budget provides UNLIMITED miles, they did not care how far or at any time I drove it. My price for this one-of-a-kind was roughly $650, wheras per one time to Houston would have been over $1200. Yes I needed to push more and it cost more gasoline, but I still saved about $450.
But do not drop for Budget’s 20% online or AARP discount. They construct the excess cost in their cost. UHaul was same deals without reductions, but UHaul does not have cruise control and Funding will. And UHaul doesn’y possess unlimited mileage.

    Long-distance move from New York
    Budget truck nightmare!

We leased a 24 ft truck out of funding to push from syracuse ny into orlando fl. It took us 16 hrs for to va shore (a 9 hr possibly 10 hr drive) we have already been back and forth a thousand times! We had been stationed there and also our team is syracuse. The vehicle broke down 3 days! We drove it to a mechanic at pa. Waited an hr before he stated he could not figure out exactly what was wrong w / it. It did not move over 55 ( it says the governor is put in 70.) We had been on the telephone for hours with client support and roadside. They well called me a liar then mentioned should I return the vehicle I am still paying 718 bucks (and gas even tho it guzzled it make it did not go over 2500 rpms) it shakes differently!! If you browse my obit its origin I died inside this dreadful thing! They’ve postponed us 6 hrs already and want us to wait patiently until noon the next day that brings us a complete driving day behind.) We’ve got people around waiting to assist us and well here we’re funding isn’t budging on whatever they need us to go cover this rediculous truck which only stops at the center of the interstate or wait to obtain a new potential death trap.

    Long-distance move from Arizona
Horrible Customer Service and Unsafe Trucks

The native Budget Truck rental shops I have done business with are pleasant and useful, but it is the federal roadside assistance and client service that’s awful. Halfway during our travel, the ABS light came on to the dashboard. We did our part by quitting at a decent sized town (where there had been a funding truck place ) and known as their nationwide roadside assistance helpline. After waiting 20 minutes to allow them to phone back after our first call, we guided us to continue driving since it is”likely only an problem with the detector, not the wheels themselves.” Well, about one hour after, the automobile came completely off the wheel and we’re fortunate to Keep control of the vehicle (rather than struck any other automobiles ) while swerving across the road.
Once stopped, it takes quite a very long time to process the difficulty, to send out someone only to state state”yes, it’s broken and can not be mended,” after an hour and a half to get a tow truck ahead. That added up for nearly 4 hours to the aspect of a crowded interstate. No one that I talked to actually seemed to care whatsoever about the issue I had been in. They had no feeling of urgency rather than called back with brand new info to help keep me updated. I had been told from the previous man that night which the claim had been placed from the machine (it was today after 10PM), therefore it needs to be processed from the nearest shop and their stock department beginning at 7AM and then we ought to be moving ahead in the hours then. Unfortunately, once I awakened phoned them a tiny bit following seven (because again, they are dreadful in communication with you), they stated they had been awaiting a single individual in New Jersey (we had been stuck in Missouri) for into the workplace and accept that the claim. I requested every which manner that I could in case there had been some other living soul around Earth which would surpass this claim and they said no more (although most of the boxes were checked off to find a brand new truck and somebody literally only needed to say”yes”). We waited for hours to get that individual to appear, and then it took several more hours to get a tow truck to deliver the working truck to people (we had been a half hour in the nearest shop ). All together, again, there wasn’t any communication from them unless I called and waited online for 10+ minutes every moment. They also said They’d employ a group of movers to help us load those things out of the broken down truck into the brand new one, except that they did not do this till much later so that we had been already done doing it ourselves by the time that the movers showed up.
Once I returned to the vehicle and called the customer support to have a refund and compensation for your inconvenience and for the time invested at a resort, they again showed that they actually didn’t take care of my circumstance. They see their script which stated”I am sorry to hear this, sir,” but once I requested them to think about more than simply the”annoyance,” to consider the dangerous situation we place us in when telling us to maintain driving on a truck that is faulty, they only kept reading exactly the identical script. “We can give you a 20% refund to the vehicle charge,” that was to be $73, and then I have to mail my hotel and meals receipts to a particular email address. I am currently trying hard to obtain their email address to function, as I’ve spent months just hoping to get through to somebody to have some compensation back, and just get a person to have the ability to put this directly. My saga together is still not over, and it seems as though it never is. They are really slow and also their lack of urgency and caring is infuriating. I have worked in customer service for many years and I understand that in the conclusion of the evening, all people today need is to feel as if somebody cares about your difficulty and would like to make it appropriate. I am not absurd in my requirements and problems relating to this business, and yet they have always revealed through the full process that they fall quite short of this fair pub of support I am requesting out of them.
