Box’s Moving

I hired this company to move me last Friday. This is my first time working with a moving company and these people cared for me from begin to finish. Sabrina supplied me with all the advice that I had over the telephone in addition to answering any questions I had. The gentlemen who moved me were polite,on time and they took good care of my things. I’d certainly recommend this company to anybody. They supplied me with top notch service at an inexpensive price.

Box’s transferred by family things from Memphis, TN to Ashland, MS.
This is a very long distance move and also the owner didn’t supply a duplicate of the contract nor did he clarify something about it.
On the afternoon of the transfer I had been educated about a scrape in my newest Armoire. This is the only thing mentioned that has been ruined.
A couple of days after I found that the abandoned was going to collapse of a desk which has been in pristine condition along with the shirt was all banged up. I also had ruined lamp colour, and after I found that the glass into my outside table was lost. I looked in my home in Memphis a few weeks afterwards believing that they left it there, however, it wasn’t. I then recalled seeing a whole lot of glass in my garbage can in MS. It had been broken and they didn’t inform me. Because this is a fantastic friends kid, I was planning to allow the ruined to furniture, and lamp slide, so before I understood the table top was busted. The things they did was wrong, but they refused it, and essentially accused me of lying about what. Obviously, I’ve registered complaints with BBB, also on YELP. I didn’t register for all of this clutter and warn anybody who thinks of using this business to never take action.

I hired these folks to complete a move for me personally.

They had been moving the final of the big items from my dwelling.

When they came together with everything, there were just two guys, the proprietor and another guy. They entered and said that they would need to have two additional individuals to help in transferring items to the next floor of my new residence. They drove off with my things returning around 1 hour afterwards.

I informed the proprietor, Chris Box, that among those armoires needed to have the legs eliminated (4) since transferring it with thighs on is overly insecure. He had been educated at least 3-4 times.
When they got ready to move the armoire, I seen them holding a massive armoire from the legs that are round and short trying to go up the staircase. They fell the armoire on the landing two, knocking a hole in a wall and two holes at landing ceiling. They ripped the wool rug on the landing.

I seen everything and asked him exactly what he was planning to do about creating my house right.

He presented me with a bill for 880.00. I offered to cover half and then pay other half once the repairs were created.

He said I might be contacted the following morning by sending to schedule an appt for somebody to check at damages.

I waited two months I finally called their”workplace”, which incidentally is non- existent.

A week after, a girl shows up in my house to get the damage. She said that she had been led to”Kiser” FLOOR to start looking for a carpeting match. NEVER HAPPENED
I then asked a certification of insurance. After calling continuously, I had been advised that Nationwide was his or her own carrier. NOT SO!
Nationwide does not have any listing of insuring this enterprise. I then filed a complaint with the BBB that was a joke. Chris Box essentially as with all the other reviews on this website attempted to blame me.

This company has done close to $3,000.00 in harm to my house based on Kiser flooring quotes and won’t take responsibility.

A negative note. I received the title of one of the”workers” until they left and asked him in which his office is. He explained he didn’t understand and they had been paid in money.
These folks are toxic and shouldn’t be in company.

Movers were 4 hours late for scheduled appt around Sept. 19, 2015. Were advised by Melanie (woman in the workplace ) they had been sending 3 men for the cost of two to hasten the procedure. When 3 men came the”additional” man said he couldn’t actually do anything bc of an harm back so really we only had both. He was just there b/c both of the other men weren’t licensed to push – envision that. It took more than 8 hours to proceed out of a 1400 sq feet house from Southaven into Byhalia, MS – UNBELIEVABLE! They had been severely moving at a snails pace. . Im sure simply to bill you plenty of hours for essentially nothing. The”additional” man was smoking all my homes and the smell was dreadful and he seemed completely self indulgent – and also was captured by my husband resting in the job truck while another two men worked. My first Samsung washer has been dropped away from the truck following the top of my washer has been captured on the elevator, washer leg broken, and a enormous dent on the base of the washerdryer. . My picnic table has been lost and broken, my entire master bedroom furniture that was quite expensive also was all scratched up and even has indentations on it many places along with also the master bedroom doorway in my brand-new home was scraped while they had been going at the furniture. Melanie in Box’s shifting altered my washer leg and sent me 150.00 test to substitute the picnic tablenonetheless, the furniture problem hasn’t yet been addressed. . I had been told a week that the furniture physician will come along and place some wood filler inside and paint it using a touch up mark – REALLY? This isn’t dollar shop furniture. . Therefore I dont believe so and anyway I havent even heard back from her or this Furniture Medic. I had been advised by Melanie that there was NOTHING that they were going to take into account the massive dent in my own washer that they caused and confessed to inducing. I informed her they had to compensate me to the remainder of my washer because they ruined it. . Her answer to me was”well are you promoting it?” I mentioned maybe not right now but if I do the worth has gone down because of your business damaging it. She explained yet again there was nothing that they were going to perform. I would also prefer to include. . A couple of days following the movement I called to the office and talked to Melanie about everything happened the day of the movement. . She needed me on speaker phone and if I talked up regarding the 3rd man who had been sleeping along with pretty much useless that he happened to be in exactly the identical area together with her listening to our telephone conversation. He immediately got on the telephone with me and told me I had to find a frequent sense and I was speaking to the operations supervisor, etc.. I immediately told him that he was very outspoken and I didnt care that he thought about me. Melanie got back to the phone and promised me she’d look after all of this herself but because you can see I am calling the BBB. . So she’s too neglected. This firm must be among the most unprofessional I’ve observed ever… I’ve sent a great deal of mails to this business, made many telephone calls, spoke to Melanie a few several moment. . Melanie even made an appt with all the so called proprietor Box’s going to return into my home to find the harms and go over the circumstance. . Which both of these were also a no-show. . No telephone. . Nothing. Recd some lame excuse as to why they didnt reveal. Didnt surprise me. No reschedule attempt was created by them. . Needless to state. I’ve sent a few pics of the broken things and traded 62 texts together with Melanie too. I’ve asked my claim # with their insurer, the insurer’s name, a duplicate of the contract I signed once they arrived in my home for the transfer and I’ve obtained NONE of the info. This business is simply a Scam themselves. I mean in case you need to place 20 ads every day on Craigslist u are essentially worthless and distressed. Next time I shall do my homework until I employ this type of collapse of a business to transfer my home products which I function to pay decent money for. U get what you pay for I suppose. Should have done my own homework.
