    The best!

This firm was one of my main discoveries. I am so pleased with their therapy, and with their own professionalism. Cost is more than realistic. I believe the less I could do to them would be to urge them with more individuals.

    These guys are PROS

These guys are experts. Employing a mover with a hourly rate could be frightening, however they worked fast and got my own job done in under two hours. While maybe not a complete house transfer, they have been charged with tackling two quite costly and delicate parts of furniture, together with draining a storage locker of about 25 boxes. Total time, such as transport? 1 hour and ten minutes! There wasn’t a scratch or harm to anything. Having only been through a movement move with a different firm, this experience changed my view about movers. Some are better than others, and up to now, from my previous encounters, these guys are tops. You guys were wonderful! Highly suggested.

    Long-distance move from California
    Small Move

I would like to start by stating I had a fantastic experience with all the drivers/movers on each end of my movement. They’re friendly, effective, and enjoyable to use. On the other hand, the business itself is lacking about the customer service side. While my sales rep was instant and useful at the lead up for my transfer, after I had been passed over to client support the entire thing fell apart.

I had been told emphatically by the rep that many motions occur between 7-14 days so was ready for a minimum two weeks of being with my items. What I did not expect was coming at my destination over a week afterwards and being advised that my things hadn’t even left the storage center. It had been pointed out that they have 30 days to receive my things to me – fair enough – however time poking and every time I phoned I was told they’d look to it and return to me. I didn’t get a phone back and could rather wait 2-3 times and call back again. Still no motion and that I was forced to feel as a hassle – I just needed some answers.

I had been told that since I just had enough things to fill 15 percent of a truck that it would take more time to come across a truck through the hectic moving period – of course it could! That is the reason why I booked with a business that does little moves and reserved it two weeks beforehand! They understood the particulars of my transfer and had lots of time to prepare but I discovered I had been low priority to get them when they chose up my things (two weeks late I might add as the truck broke down the afternoon that they were supposed to arrive). At no time can they give me a good quote for if my things would arrive.

In the 30 day mark I asked them back and was told that it had been 30 BUSINESS times (obviously, foolish me) so that they had lots longer to pfaff about and not phone me backagain. Repeated calls for customer support eventually had my items on a vehicle and in their own way – 3 1/2 months later it had been picked up. I had been given a 3-6 day window for shipping one day after which a 7-10 day window once I called back two weeks later. It really took 19 times (!!) In the day that they were set to the truck to get the driver to eventually answer his telephone (the corporation could not reach him either) and also my things to be sent – to the Saturday following the 30 business days’d stopped. Technically they have been 24 hours within the 30 business day deal but do they really care? Nope. I waited a whole 6 WEEKS without knowing for sure anytime I was going to get my merchandise. I did receive a guarantee from customer support that they had been a legit business however. Great.

For a business which handles logistics on a daily basis, they are sorely lacking in regards to understanding & handling their particular pipeline along with their communication with customers is dreadful.

Black Bear – perhaps you can work together with your sales reps to temper expectations and also become a bit more honest and clear about the procedure when communicating with customers.

Edit: I had been achieved to with a client support manager and managed to state my concerns regarding the procedure and the support I received. Contemplating his timely and considerate reply, and my experience with all the movers themselves, I’m pleased to update my critique on 4 stars. I’m assured that my expertise isn’t common and that the client support staff will do much more to notify customers during the shifting process. Thank you, Chris.

    Unhappy

Don’t use this moving business. In case you don’t will probably be displeased with the fees and the status of your possessions once done. The”insurance” provided for transfers is actually not insurance. I had been provided $30 for substantial losses. Bull S.

    Thieves and Liars

When I could do it all over again, I’d do it myself, with one hand, 1 arthritis affected leg, and also the worlds worst hangover. Dealing with Black Bear was undoubtedly the worst going experience of my entire life. They Ought to be in prison

Black Bear was that the transferring firm which was contracted via Trinity Storage and Moving (An agent which provides approximately half of a shit on you when they have gotten their cash.) I received an entrance estimate from the agent, Black Bear movers called and stated…”borrows them, they don’t have any idea and they are not the inspector.” Obviously, We anticipated that the movers between 10 AM and 2 PM, they came at 5 PM. Upon arrival, it was decided that we were all over our projected allotment which we had any things that had to become”Crated” To be clear, crating seemingly signifies: Wrapped in paper and cellophane. We compensated 300.00 additional bucks for paper and cellophane. Additionally, we paid an additional $500 to your space allocation. . .all whatsoever, 800 over the quote. I have been told that this is shared, so I simply went with the stream.

We also discovered then the countdown to if their timer begins, is not the pickup date, its the earliest available shipping date. We picked the 16th of July. This lack of comprehension and clarity caused a few challenges, however again. . .we went along with it. This lack of comprehension had been my fault, I still have that…

This is the place where the fantastic part begins.

On Sunday, July 26th, our house products were allegedly at New York having only completed work in Ohio, we had been advised from the Client Service team that we could likely expect our belongings on Tuesday the 28th. That never occurred. I was subsequently told by the Client Service staff at Black Bear that it would probably be Thursday the 30th. That never occurred. I was subsequently told I could expect my things on Sunday August 2nd. That never occurred. I was then informed that I could expect my things on Tuesday August 4th. We have a call out of the driver about Monday night around the 3rd. The motorist said that we would have our belongings on noon on Tuesday. Bear in mind, Tuesday the 4th was my parents birthday however we had our things and were okay with this date. We all waited. . .and we waited, we predicted and we all waited. . .then we waited a few more. Absolutely destroyed my sons birthday. . .Crazy thing however, we did not get our things…. THEN. . .on Tuesday night around 6 PM, we receive a call from ANOTHER motorist who said he simply acquired this truckload (That can be crucial, don’t forget the time ). . .and that he could be at our home on Wednesday at 8 AM, first loading of the afternoon. . .GUARANTEED….The motorist said that they were planning to remain the night indoors and could be in our home first thing in the afternoon. . .Guess what? . . .Nope. Figuring out that the truck had been stuck in Maryland having an problem. So today I have gotten 3 shipping dates out of Black Bear and two More phone calls from motorists. . .all lies.

Fast forward to 830PM at nighttime around the 5th of August. The truck opens up in our property, no telephone call, no caution. There’s not any lift gate, there’s not any segregation between our house goods and a few other bad family. (At one stage, the movers attempted to ditch the other household’s TV to us, we stated”Thats no ours” and they set it all back. We had been told by both of these movers that they packed our belongings, at the rainand two nights past which I find strange (Remember before? … Driver said he simply got our things on Monday night?)

Lets reach the condition of the homegoods:

EVERY SINGLE BOX WAS DAMAGED IN SOME WAY

PLASTIC TOTES WERE SMASHED. LIDS CAVED IN, SIDES BLOWN OUT

OUR 65 INCH SAMSUNG TV WAS DESTROYED, THE BOX SOAKING WET AND RAVAGED. IT LOOKED LIKE IT HAD BEEN USED AS A PUNCHING BAG

WE STARTED THE MOVE WITH A FULL SERVING SET OF DISHES, WRAPPED IN BUBBLE WRAP. OF THE 8 LARGE PLATES, 3 SURVIVED. GLASSES SMASHED, BAKING PANS BENT AND SMASHED.

BOXES OF CLOTHING, EXPENSIVE LEATHER SHOES (Johnston and Murphy), DRESS SHIRTS AND SPORT COATS. . .SOAKING WET

    WE’RE ALSO MISSING Substantial Products.

1.) Our dining room place is MISSING A CHAIR

2.) Our garage things are overlooking (Shovels, rakes, fertilizer spreader)

3.) A box with all of our utensils along with miscellaneous other things are overlooking.

4.) MY SONS ELECTRIC SCOOTER. THEY STOLE FROM A Kid!

Whether this harm were performed in your house, you’d have the ability to call the authorities and have such offenders arrested. They treat your own house goods such as crap and then lie to you about where your crap is and when you can expect to get it. We work hard for our money and subsequently, our possessions. We’ve gathered these items over a lengthy time period, simply to get them treated like crap by the movers. My spouse and I feel broken. It was just like having your house broken into and trashed. . .except we paid a person (+6000.00) to perform it…

As of the instant, I haven’t yet registered my claim using Black Bear because we’re still discovering missing and broken items… that I am certain that this review will operate against me, I do not care…

In summation: Do not make the mistake we all did.

    DO NOT USE MOVERS

DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS! BEWARE! PLEASE READ BEFORE HAVING THEM MOVE YOUR STUFF! NIGHTMARE MOVERS!!!
Upon doing my study on multiple moving business’s, and prior to signing any contracts with Dark Bear Moving and Storage INC, they PROMISED a smooth and worry free move. THAT WAS A LIE! Dealing together with Black Bear Moving business has been one of the WORST experiences in my whole life. For starters at select up of my possessions the motorists were 5 HOURS LATE! I had been provided a window between 12-4pm and Driver didn’t appear until about 9pm. Considering that the runaround that the truck was just 30 mins off every time that I called for an upgrade. Costumer service can also be AWFUL, among gentlemen particularly Title Robert was extremely RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. Being yelled at by a client support representative is UNACCEPTABLE in my standpoint. Upon delivery of my things the motorist did NOT inform me that he had been driving an 18 wheeler, there for no more access has been available. The Driver that had been really unwilling to help and appeared to be in a hurry to ditch my possessions gave me two alternatives to unload my belongings into a different truck, where he’d just transfer over to a different truck and depart WITHOUT DROPPING OFF MY ITEMS TO MY DOOR AND ASSEMBLING MY ITEMS AS PROMISED IN THE POLICY. Or The next alternative was that he had been going to carry my things to a storage facility where I’d be responsible to receive my items into my home myself. I’d also need to pay an extra 300 buck fee. I decided on option one the driver loaded a UHAUL TRUCK THAT I RENTED AND LEFT. Leaving me to unload the vehicle MYSELF AND ASSEMBLE MY FURNITURE. ALL BOXES WERE ALL SMASHED AND TORN ON THE EDGES. Mind you that not one of the INFORMATION IS DISCLOSED TO THE CUSTOMER NOR WRITTEN ON THE POLICY! OVERALL HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE AND NIGHTMARE MOVE. BEWARE! This organization is filled with LIES. They won’t care for you are possessions! They simply care about your own Money!

    Use ANYONE else.

We contracted with BLACK BEAR MOVING AND STORAGE (through Gold Standard Relocation) to Help in moving our possessions from California to Chicago. Their sales rep was simple to utilize, communicative, and reassuring. Their quote came in at a reasonable price saying they’d come in to our house, pack up everything, wrap all, take aside all of furniture, load, and haul into Illinois….then unload, unwrap, reconstruct and put our possessions in the chambers we wanted.

Figuring out….their sales rep was a liar and wasn’t just hoping to receive our organization.

They showed up in our house, weren’t cautious with outside possessions, didn’t take apart some of the furniture, and did every thing in their own hands to never optimize the distance over the moving truck. Maximizing the distance is significant in this situation since they bill you from the cubic foot….so the longer distance wasted, the cash which you need to pay. OH…did I say that Gold Standard does not really move you? They subcontract the job out to some 3rd party. Our 3rd party chance to be a business named Black Bear Transferring….and wow…working together was just like working with a set of two year olds. They refused to honor our deal with Gold Standard saying”we do not know who that provider is”. Letting us to sign up for contract and also did a very hard drive for us to cover items which Gold Standard assured us we would not need to cover.

Once they spent four hours in our home moving things, we ended up needing to leave a garage full of their possessions behind which comprised our mattress frame, sectional sofa, another sofa, dining room table, plus a classic coffee table…and of course heaps of different products. Leaving those things behind has been the very last thing we needed to perform, however, Tony (from Dark Bear) was overcharging us by the beginning and seriously inflated the fees if we were able to put them into the truck. Inflated to the tune of more than 3,000 longer if we chose those products. That is AFTER he showed up and increased our estimate by $2,000. Oh…and we heard later he left our house that he chased the cubic feet we first used by 200 cubic feet. As soon as I asked him”how can you determine that the distance used?” He explained”I will tell…” and given no additional validation of distance along with his’understanding’. Not just that, he had been smug and impatient. He explained”if you do not enjoy the last number, simply don’t cover the man who produces your things at Illinois.” Really?? Wow.

Quick forward, we had been advised by Gold Standard that our possessions would be sent to us at 10-14 days. We didn’t got our things until 20 days after after being pushed off and pushed off with equally Gold Standard and Black Bear. BOTH businesses deserve a dreadful evaluation for procedures, salesmanship, ethics, and support. When there’s any information I will give to anybody seeking to earn a transfer — DO NOT USE GOLD STANDARD RELOCATION OR BLACK BEAR MOVING. The two firms are inexpensive, not cautious with your things, and just need your money. They’ll tear you off at each corner.

After my things had been delivered to my house in Illinois…a Royal inspector came (who worked to get a 4th celebration…maybe not GS or BB) and said he could not locate some other men to assist him….and THEN stated he would need to charge me more money because I had been transferring things to a two story dwelling! Seriously?! I bartered with him and, even though I’ve got a pinched nerve in my throat, offered to assist him transfer my things into my own home if he did not bill me to the 2 stories. He reluctantly explained. Seriously…I paid those men to do all of the work and finished doing 30-40percent of it around the front end and the rear end.

So a lot more details have been left outside for the interest of space and time. If you wish to understand more about how these firms scam you, then treat you like crapand handle your items such as crap, and much more…please don’t hesitate to reach me out. I am pleased to share more information. Information like a person from Black Bear intentionally (partly ) took apart a table of mine so I needed to spend a hour fixing it as it was sent to my house. Information such as the customer support supervisor from Gold Standard cutting off me to inform me her owner could have her mind whenever she gave me over a $250 charge. Incidentally $250 is pennies of their whole price…and we just get that cash if we do not share our dreadful experience on social networking. Maintain your own $250.

Do not use those firms. Both firms are crap…and they’ll treat you and your possessions such as crap.

    BAIT AND SWITCH

Black Bear Moving and Storage has given me BY FAR the WORST moving experience I have ever had.

What was initially supposed to be $1,400 to pack, move, and unpack my one bedroom flat finished up costing me $3,200 with arbitrary fees which they’d spring on me with in the last minute, realizing I didn’t have enough time to argue or find a different firm to proceed with. Some Additional items they billed me for:

$1,100 additional because they claimed that I had more”things” than I’d initially told them that I had (which is not accurate, I came out of a 500 sq feet apartment with no appliances).

& another $500 only to unload my belongings into my new flat that was presumed to be contained. If I didn’t cover, they wouldn’t give me my items.

And of course that they have been a week late bringing my possessions.

And even with me paying over twice the amount they originally quoted me, they’re still rude and unprofessional every time that I called with questions.

    Beware!!!

PLEASE DON’T USE THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY!!!

PLEASE If You’re IN THE STRESSFUL PROCESS OF MOVING PLEASE DO NOT ADD MORE INCONVENIENCE BY Handling THIS MOVING COMPANY!!! LONG STORY SHORT they billed us over 4 x the initial quote they gave us (fine), we have to proceed and we don’t have any choice, next they didn’t appear until one week after they had been initially scheduled to appear for fall off. When they showed up it was a whole different team from the first team, unloading boxes within the home without repainting or assessing for any damages! We brought it up into the movers that they had been to build each of furnitures they disassembled and they informed us it is not their job and they’ll need to call their supervisor. They did and were instructed to build our furnitures that they disassembled! (DUH) TO TOP IT ALL OFF at the midst of constructing the furnitures they removed. . .YES TOOK OFF WITHOUT A WORD. THE WORST THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY I EVER DEALT WITH! I was speechless…I was not screwed over by a business such as this ever before. Couple weeks go by we play phone tag with them seeing each of the DAMAGES & MISSING ITEMS and following months of excruciating back and on AGAIN they informed us they will pay us $178.20 entire pennies for all of the damage, missing items, and hassle. Now we’re at a stage that we’ve got no other option except to receive our attorney involved. . .They didn’t meet the contract. I Only Want to warn others frankly relating to this company and please PLEASE do not make the Identical mistake I did…

    Very disappointing !!

Will only talk about the reality: my mom who had been recently widowed is going from state. She had been quoted on the telephone 2600. Black bear proved overdue with no telling by 4 weeks (lost her grand brothers confirmation) If they came late with no motive besides visitors, they instantly”eyeballed” her things and explained this is significantly more than people thought..and instantly doubling the cost. As soon as I showed up the guy in charge couldn’t clarify the machine or calculator that he used to triple the cost besides it is a good deal. They attracted a truck which was undersized and stated they’d

Come back Saturday and composed at the contract which Saturday they guarantee. Then shipment phoned on Friday evening, also said sadly they were quite busy and couldn’t come at the time Saturday at the contract and agreed to Sunday morning. They didn’t appear till Sunday afternoon with again the justification of”visitors”. . .fascinating the quantity of traffic which happens on a Sunday day. Once more they whined about all of the things, and after completed loading said they’d be providing a reduction because of absence of communication. But then jumped to nickle and dime my mom and the cost went from 2600 into 11k+. Then proceeded to stand on her and ask to compose a favorable yelp inspection… my mom told them which could be achieved upon birth of her house.

We drove across state which took approximately 3 1/2 days. My mum called the moving business to that dispatch claimed that it had been packed upon a truck and prepared to be Moved. My mom told them she’d be coming on the 8th. They said it’d be there soon afterwards. Following the 10th my

Mother telephoned and she had been advised that because she offered the 8th they have 10 times out of her quotation to supply the things and simply apologized offering no reduction or follow through. Now is the 18th and so much whenever my mom has contacted them she’s been advised it’s in transit, and they can’t get into the driver. My mom was sitting at a vacant home from state, using a blow mattress up because the 7th. Now, is the 10th day and suddenly no one is available to talk with her and nobody appears to make it a priority. Thus far they’ve pulled a bait and switch, and broken their contract several times. Since nobody is available to talk with her, and they can’t contact their driver, they seem to be extremely cluttered and unable to guarantee whatever they stand alone. I don’t recommend them whatsoever to anybody and it’s a pity that we might need to take it into another level to receive her things delivered.

    Absolutely the worst

Certainly the worst going experience. The quotation that we originally received was double what we had been quoted. A gentleman called Elias picked up our things and has been very professional. He advised my wife that we’d have our items in 10 times and also wrote it about the record that he gave to my spouse. It’s now 1 month later and we still have not obtained our items and there has not been some communication on Black Bear’s part. We’ve been calling on a regular basis and half of the time we get passed from 1 individual to another. 1 man my wife talked to stated that she could not find us at the machine although my wife had the work number. We could not get anyone to answer the telephone. Now I had been told that we had been calling the wrong number and has been given a distinct number to call even though the amount we had been phoning was about the contract. I now have four different telephone numbers for them. After I eventually talked to someone in the brand new number I had been told our items will be more loaded that this weekend. They’ve been sitting in a warehouse at Sacramento for the last month that wasn’t conveyed to us throughout the whole bidding process or whenever they picked up our items. We even asked for a couple more days until they picked up and have been advised that they needed to select up our items to keep on program. I really don’t understand what their program was, but it was certainly nothing pressing. I wouldn’t recommend this business to anybody. When I ran my company like they operate their company I’d be out of business within a matter of weeks.

Long-distance move from Redwood City, CA
    Fraud

    Wallpaper

I Establish a movement from Redwood City, CA to Orlando, FL through Keystone Transferring Group. After sending photos of all our stock, on June 1, 2020 Keystone gave us an estimate of 923 cubic feet at $5.75 per cubic feet. After sending movies of all our stock (to find the most accurate quotation ), on June 9, 2020 Keystone gave us a estimate of 1171 cubic feet at $5.75 per cubic feet. They stated that the quotation could simply change if we raised our stock (that we didn’t ). They were assumed to organize a 1 day proceed on June 27, 2020 using a guaranteed delivery for July 5, 2020. Following a perplexing contract (we did sign a deal with Keystone; we didn’t sign an agreement with all the moving firm ) the move began with Oasis Moving and Storage. On June 27, 2020 Oasis came with a lot of guys in a later than guaranteed start time. Oasis was terminated on June 28, 2020 after coming late, again, with too many guys and damaging the flooring in the townhouse we had been renting/vacating. Keystone managed to procure a brand new moving firm, Black Bear Storage and Moving to pickup our things on June 29, 2020. Keystone ready a new Deal, but again we signed no contract with the Agency (in the time that the furniture has been picked up and sent, we did sign a Bill of Lading that was ready by Black Bear). Black Bear delivered our furniture and household products (a few of which were ruined ) on July 7, 2020.

Unfair and Deceptive Practice concerning Fees: Overcharging by misrepresenting cubic feet

When Oasis came we gave us 1600 cubic feet at $5.75 per cubic feet. Keystone corrected the”binding quotation” to signify 1671 cubic feet before Black Bear arriving. When Black Bear came they quoted and billed us for 2450 cubic feet. They loaded our things to a 26 foot Business box truck. Our items were sent at a 26 foot Penske box truck. The exterior physical measurements of the truck on drop-off, which we quantified on movie, totaled under 1700 cubic feet. Further, these items were hauled with a different client’s items, and also the movers signaled amounted to about 200 cubic feet. Black Bear billed us for hauling 2,450 cubic feet, 44 percent more than could possibly be accommodated from the vehicle, and even greater compared to 1,671 cubic foot”binding quote”. Our household products occupied no more than 1,500 cubic feet.

    Bait and switch

Several photos and videos have been shipped to Keystone for opinion of their cubic feet. The quote provided was less than precise. The stock lists performed by Keystone dependent on the videos and photos were perplexing. By way of instance, the inventory recorded a”mattress” without being advised that a mattress was the mattress with no box springs. The initial under-estimate of their cubic feet throughout the stock Keystone ready in line with the photographs, videos, and text messages we provided them succeeded in getting us to signal the agent contract in furtherance of their bait and change cubic feet overcharge.

    Other Difficulties

Ahead of being terminated, Oasis packed our objects in boxes using their packaging material. Keystone put at the adjusted binding quotation, $62 for packaging material. Black Bear billed us for $1441 value of packaging material. There’s not any sign for what packaging material equaling $1441 was utilized (since their packaging material was not used!) .

On July 8, 2020 a representative from Black Bear known to confirm delivery date and confessed they did not fulfill the”guaranteed delivery” and stated that the $1000 additional paid for its”guaranteed delivery” will be reimbursed to the credit card. No refund was ever processed as promised.

On July 23, 2020 we sent an email to Dark Bear and Keystone concerning the worries about the overcharges for its packaging material and the cubic footage in addition to the guaranteed delivery that we still haven’t got a refund. On July 24, 2020 we contested the overcharges using the credit card that was used to cover the move. (Payment by credit card or otherwise was demanded as a precondition for shipping ). As of July 29, 2020 we’ve not got a response from either Black Bear or Keystone.

    In summary:

-Keystone grossly misquoted the cubic feet, delegated an undependable and unreliable moving firm (Oasis), and then assigned a moving firm (Black Bear) that overcharged the cubic feet and billed for services/materials which weren’t rendered/supplied.

-Oasis sent too many guys, was late on several events, and ruined the flooring

-Black Bear overcharged for packaging stuff and cubic feet in Addition to missed ensured delivery window also hasn’t given a refund as formerly promised

-Keystone and Black Bear have not responded to our email with questions and ask for a refund of their overages

Worst customer service experience of my life

Do yourself a gigantic favor and call another mover apart from Black Bear. I can not even recall the last time I wrote an overview of anything but that is my first attempt at doing the people a favor by sharing my own expertise with them – and it was totally dreadful.

I moved from CA to TX. We predicted many movers and Dark Bear looked like a reasonable price, not the least expensive choice, but maybe not the priciest. The sales rep, Adam, offered us about $6300 to our movement which has been together with roughly 1800 cu ft. We secured in a reduction since we picked them in July to get a transfer in August. We moved over the stock listing about 6 days before them packaging our items so as to be as exact as you can. Transferring day comes along with their birth window has been 9am-12pm. 1 man showed up at 11:30 and the remainder showed up right at 12pm, making it completely reasonable. But they showed up with a truck which has been partly full and just had 1300 cu feet accessible. They act entirely surprised by how much material we have, that is strange since it was all on their sheet and then head to inform me that the next truck is forthcoming and is here in one hour for a hour and a half. They have to perform, 2pm comes and that I inquire where the vehicle is and that they say an additional hour. The truck did not appear until almost 6pm. This was a HUGE signal right there and that I had a dreadful sense and knew I must have called off it but that our stuff is completely wrapped up and becoming wealthy so what can I do? Throughout the movement among those men drops our dresser in our walls and sets out a golf ball sized hole inside and left scratches all around the stair walls. They did not complete the movement until approximately 8pm at nighttime. Then if we start discussing prices they end up charging us far over the quotation stating that we utilized 2000 cu feet and the overage will be billed at $5.90/cu feet rather than $3.50. Our sales rep, Adam, assured us that would not be the situation but here we are.

Adam also advised us that the shipping date could be 10-12 times from pickup, so early on in the procedure we shifted our pickup date from Aug 7 to Aug 5 to get it here no more than the 17th. Well here we are, it is Aug 17th along with my wife just got off the telephone with all the movers and our belongings still has not even been loaded on a truck at CA and we still don’t have any eta for if it is likely to arrive. We have called them almost daily and have been lied to, wrapped up on, informed that”sales rep make errors, that is the reason why there’s a contract” — that is complete crap, you can not get sales reps misrepresenting contracts, even informed that we would be called again and correlated with supervisors just to have been wrapped on again and again.

Black Bear was a complete nightmare to use, from fundamental human decency, to liability, easy customer support, professionalism — it is all missing and the list goes on an on. I work for a big finance company and we are moving lots of our folks in CA to TX and that I was the very first. I won’t urge Black Bear to anybody. In reality, I will propose under no conditions any one of my coworkers or anybody else that I understand even contemplate them.
