We had several problems with this inspector. Despite having had two walkthroughs of those homes to be transferred, the afternoon prior to the scheduled movement he said that he had to up the cost by over 30 percent as a result of sum to be transferred. As it was the afternoon before we’d planned to proceed, and ordered for a medical transportation service to maneuver my terminally ill mother, we believed we had no other option. Despite this, the trucks that he delivered were too little and we needed to depart behind/abandon quite a few furniture pieces and gear as we had been up against a challenging deadline. He just assigned two people to perform the majority of the loading and all of the unloading causing a load period of over 12 hours and the unload period of over 10 hours. In the destination, regardless of assurances that his ceremony contained disassembly and reassembly of appliances and furniture, things were abandoned handed, and at the incorrect rooms, several heavy items downstairs which should happen to be put. The owner drove up to accumulate the rest of the money and transfer items, together with limited success. Throughout the transfer three pieces of furniture had been destroyed, one strong walnut coffee table has been deeply neater, a walnut bookcase was ruined, along with the trimming on a walnut cabinet has been damaged/pulled loose. He’s denied to begin a insurance claim to cover these harms. After we paid him that the last invoice , we had the arrangement that we wouldn’t cover $250 of this, and some damages over that sum would be filed to his insurer for policy. At this time I’m in the process of filing a lawsuit to recoup damages. Avoid at any cost.
We had a Excellent encounter with Large Man Movers. The staff was polite and in time. They packed us up-moved us-unpacked us into a matter of 3 times. They wrapped all of our furniture to prevent harm and’d NO breakage. They even made our transition to our new house seam-less. Because Men!!!
