I reliable Charter Van Line to assist us move from various state. They hired a 3rd firm and they dropped of boxes and charged us extra throughout the shipping. I called to get per month every day – Charter Van Line didn’t allow me to get my lost boxes back or reimbursed me for the excess charge brought on by the 3rd party. This is the worst choice we made once we choose to allow Charter van line assist us. The worst business and I would never hire them again for my upcoming move. Constant calls for them and in the end they told me record a complaint. Seriously!? For this day, I haven’t got a telephone or an email using a apology or offer of a settlement. The worst COMPANY EVER! Don’t use them.

I recently moved from Chicago to New Orleans. The installation on front of North Star Van Lines was fantastic, as were the gentlemen in Best Price Movers about the Chicago ending. In actuality, I have never been really impressed with a moving business. Until we must Louisiana.

Why had they never assessed if there was space to get a semi before bringing down one? Are there some way he can please charge me for your new level in a later date? He accused me of attempting to deceive the moving business from the cash and because of this I was asked to beg to get financing out of my brand-new neighbors to be able to receive my items, or be billed also for public storage. On January 15th, I had been told by Best Cost they wouldn’t create a 2nd quit! Finest Cost picked up my merchandise Wednesday, January 16th as intended.

On Friday, January 18th, Best Cost contacted me and said they may need to charge me an additional $400 upon delivery when their truck couldn’t get the home. I stated there will not be any difficulties with the truck parking at front of our home and large moving trucks may get our road from a number of directions. I phoned Gold Standard and has been ensured if the truck could park in the front of the home, then there shouldn’t be any extra fees. Now I didn’t agree to the additional charges with Best Cost, and lasted to say that there wouldn’t be any problems accessing the home since it is on a broad, residential road.

7. Inform us that at fall off we’d have to pay cash to the motorist and that credit cards weren’t a choice in CA (we affirmed that this Isn’t accurate )
8. We told us that the following driver may bill for carrying our products up stairs into our flat when all along They’ve understood we’re on the next floor and were not told anything about additional fees for stairs inside our contract or bid; motorist stated that anything more than 12 staircase is match for being billed just depends upon”whether the motorist that afternoon feels just like being a dick”
9. Took our items and never followed up in an ETA for shipping
10. Lastly, third party agent was able to get ahold of these after 10 times and pounds came in at just 1000 pounds within the bid
11. Driver to SF maintains he contacted us and left messages That Is false as we Don’t Have Any record of messages or calls two days outside
12. Establish time to get a re-weigh at Oakland prior to shipping, advised us to meet at 7am and had been significantly overdue (we waited in the weigh station for More than 2.5 hours)breaking us time waiting and time removed of job

Each box came looking as though it had been dropped of a truck when going and left on a dock at incliment weather for days. Attempted to solve. . .the standard contract excludes most things and then only pays $.60/pounds. Returned settlement arrangement requiring pittance six months past. . .still no test. Don’t USE!

We had a horrible moving encounter with Best Price Moving & Storage.
They are very communicative throughout the up front procedure (courting one to select them). When moving day arrived (and they’d obtained all of the financial residue ), communication stopped.

I let the salesman talk me in to thinking the reviews were only a few angry customers. From beginning (whom I needed to assist the 2 men load the truck) into the unloading in Chicago (where they negligently busted up my wife’s cherished dining table) to delivery (where I needed to manage the”Client” service supervisor – Claudia whose biggest concern was getting her motorists into another place ) into the General Manager who never returned my phone.

This is absolutely the worst service firm I know of. They are very rude and don’t have any sense of decency. Please, don’t employ them, unless you’re prepared for frustrations. They sent my things after 21 weeks, the very final afternoon on the scheduled window, even from Chicago into Oregon. The delivery driver was a large joke. He arrived 4 hours later than He’d scheduled, required an hour and to move the furniture (solitary b/r furniture) into some uhaul and finally claimed he couldn’t match everything. . .left a few of the things about the parking lot and then drove off. It took me and my buddies only 10 minutes to encircle his shody packaging and everything match. The motorist was angry as I refused to pay $300 extra to allow them to send my suff into my flat, like I didnt pay to the ceremony such as sending to the destination. Shame on you”best cost movers”. You’re actually the worst in the company world. David Carter AKA sweet talker, understand that, what goes around comes right back around. . .you really are a lier and when you receive the company, you wash your hands off and continue on to another victim….this man won’t ever speak to you after your objects are selected up…

I can’t say how awful my experience with this particular company was. I can only conclude that some great reviews they’ve are from individuals who have been bribed to compose them as so many individuals are bribed to eliminate their poor reviews. I didn’t even actually deal with this organization. I contracted with American storage and moving that subcontracted out the occupation. I must have known this could be a nightmare out of then on.Pick upward in Chicago went smoothly without any issues. I use the 30-day storage alternative because there was a difference between my rental end and beginning. On the afternoon before when I was assured my things would arrive at colorado, I talked to the business and they informed me my things are there”Sometime in the next two months”. They maintained that they never promised that a date although it was expressly said on my own contract. Finally, they showed up times later promised that I guess I must be grateful for as yet another bad reviewed waited 29 times to receive her things. But then the actual nightmare started the driver showed up at 4 pm on the Friday before labour day holiday weekend. There were no movers. The driver spoke to the local affiliate of the firm who said some guys were on the road. They never showed up. The bad driver began unloading our stuff by himself after waiting for more than an hour and being dismissed from the corporation. They really told the driver that they had no one to emerge since it had been the end of the month? Why did they plan/schedule the fall off for some time if they had no one? Then they had the guts to hang up on the motorist and change their vacation voicemail on stating that they would not be available again before Tuesday. This bad driver did not need to get us help eliminate our things bc it might violate our contract.Our motorist finally hired two random men from labour prepared. It took half an hour to unload our things. We just have a 2 bedroom apartment! Our television stand was crushed and could only need to be thrown off. Several things were dented, boxes were squashed/broken open and many boxes are lost! I can’t believe how amazingly unprofessional this business is! I’m shocked that they are ready to remain in operation. I would like to submit a claim but it sounds as though they make it their business to screw people over. Do yourself a massive favor, don’t use this business ever! You may regret it.

Deal with Best cost moving was a complete nightmare! They pick up my items at Cleveland destained for New Hampshire. Rather they took it to Chicago where it sat for more than a week. The business rep lied and stated they were not given a drop off speech! Yea right who conducts a moving company, not know where you’re going. I move a lot and I Won’t USE THIS COMPANY EVERY AGAIN!!!?!?

I STRONGLY advise you to read all those reviews before choosing this corporation.  These individuals aren’t lying.  This provider is outside the worst nightmare you can actually possess. I paid $5000.00 to allow them to ruin everything.  All I will today BP is KARMA.  Not only can they never accept mobiles calls, but they do not return them either. I left lots of message to your Dispatcher Mary.  She’s so unprofessional that she does not even bother.  Then there’s how it took them 21 days to send my things and did not care I needed to sleep on a cement floor.  If they did deliver my things, many apprx (70 percent ) was brokenup, broken, dented, dinged and lost. They then provided $378.00 to me and required that I never talk of it again to anybody.  Sorry Best Cost but you folks will need to get run from town.

Received “Binding” quote. It turned out to be a fantastic quote. Movers came, loaded, also said there were 165 complete pieces as soon as they loaded the vehicle. Impossible to claim unless desired these to unload everything and rely that isn’t realistic unless desire items divided upon reloading since the movers wouldn’t be happy.

Received closing paperwork in end. I needed to pay rest of equilibrium before they’d unload truck off. The paperwork revealed 65 things (the line thing began at number 110). Now, unless I wished to wait around for who knows how long to get my things, I needed to cover. David, I decided to go with Greatest Cost since you convinced me that Best Price was honest and ethical and that the adverse comments I read weren’t representative of nearly all consumer experiences. I’ve attempted to reach out to you (email and telephone ) on multiple events in addition to contact customer support. When I call, they tell me you’re outside of the workplace. I’ve yet to be given a reply from you or Client Support concerning my issue for final charging. Reaching you until I dedicated to Best Cost wasn’t a issue and all of a sudden it’s. This doesn’t look appropriate.

I got the worst service I’ve ever had from that corporation.  I frankly do not believe that they care about all of the complaints that they get anyhow.  This is my whole ordeal of my expertise under: The Sales Rep- Ben Jones made false claims.   He told me that the cost won’t change but it did after they picked up our furniture.  Second he ensured that a moving date and time period that was nowhere near exact (we did not get our furniture till 3 months later).  Alright 3 weeks after, we’ve got a call in the driver stating that our furniture was here that was approximately 12:00pm.  Fantastic thing that it was a weekend so it was not that bad.  To start with the there was just 1 delivery man and he arrived in a semi-truck.  Mind you I’d tell Ben (Sales rep) before on that we remain in an apartment complex so that a Semi would be a problem for shipping.  So obviously the semi was too Large and did not fit.   Hence that the driver gave us two choices 1: he can find a 15 foot u haul and transfer everything for another $450 or alternative 2: we could pick up and cover a u haul ourselves.  Obviously we chose option 2.   Mind you that this was all occurring in precisely the exact same moment.  After we returned together with the u haul the motorist moved the furniture on to the u haul, it was not large enough so we needed to put a few things in our automobile and then told us all we needed to move the furniture to our home by ourselves!!!  This Wasn’t in the contract or said during the final of this sale.   We had been told they’ll provide, move and put up everything that we had.   They were rather deceitful.  They understood the semi would not match and they just sent one individual, so that they already knew what was likely to take place.  So needless to say we had to cover the driver to receive our furniture.  My husband, daughter and I needed to do all of the moving ourselves.  We were really upset!  I just had shoulder surgery and was not suppose to perform some heavy lifting but what exactly were we suppose to perform at this Brief notice.    From now we were done it was 5:00pm and we were not ready for our period to be used such as this and a few appointments which we’d needed to be reschedule.  Awful firm, inadequate customer support and dishonest,   I wouldn’t recommend them to anybody.  AVOID THEM!!!

Finest Price Moving & storage has been the firm assigned to me by Colonial Van Lines Relocation.  Finest Price left a classic mirror behind.  I discovered it because I was leaving my home for the last time.  I called to learn what to do and they stated they’d need to pick this up at any time.  I explained I did not have a home anymore and the hutcfh mirror was in my vehicle and that I had been leaving the nation in a couple of hours.  They would not help me.  I needed to send the mirror in a price of $300.00.  It took 17 days for my itmes to get there.  My curio cabinet was shattered.  I had lots of broken bits.  A few of the boxes were moist and a few coated in oil.  I wouldn’t recommend this business to anybody.

After talking with 3 times I reserved this business for my transfer away from Chicago to Tampa during .One of this man called chase spoke to me for nearly two to three hours and whined all of the information and also make sure I reserve this business and perform the 25 percent of payment. Following this he never chose my telephone. The business outsourced to a neighborhood b tier firm Best Cost movers and packers. That firm blackmailed me about the afternoon of going and explained I that I have to pay additional 1000 USD since my stock differs. I’ve reduced my thing and they believe workplace chair and rotating seat as distinct product. In the shipping that the individual literally explained that my truck cannot come inside and you will need to cover another 800 to get U haul. That is wasn’t accurate. I am able to affirm that larger truck may come indoors. I’ve observed it but at the shipping they simply ransomed me and told I want to pay additional. I must pay complete amount beforehand then only they and unload my products. They simply ransomed me and took complete money prior to unloading. I need to cover 1800 additional today. They simply dropped all of my bag and left since I didn’t signal that they have delivered. They didn’t unpacked my things too which they have been supposed to perform. They shot one bag and explained that when you sign that your purchase is delivered afterward they will send the merchandise.
The individual misbehaved with my loved ones. I just felt helpless here. I had been emotionally disturbed and harassed by this business shipping man.

PLEASE PLEASE AVOID THIS

The comany broke new items about the day that they had been loading the vehicle. They added fees that’s distinct compared to what the contract stated. Then they’d hold things hostage. Much lying and’m lost a box having over 70 dvd/blu beam movies. They broke the deal to my protected. I’ve filed a claim with the BBB and hope a reply shortly. If I don’t get a reply soon will get in touch with the BBB and refile. I quote fore busted and undelivered products etc they owe us about $3000. Don’t use them that they may also leave a wreck out by at which the truck has been parked of packaging materials and other garbage and also requires lots of stinking smoke fractures.

I contracted greatest cost for a cost quote. They estimated that my two bedroom house for a just $1800, more economical than the significant vanlines, over the smaller agents. I regret attempting to conserve the $300 which mayflower could have billed me. Their motorist appearantly AWOL along with my possessions for 15 days. In addiiton the burden of the cargo moved up nearly 30 percent, and I had been billed a 70% rise in cost. They explained that this was because of growth niweight and storage in transit. Storage I never desired. They tried to bill me for preserving my things while they didnt even know where they’re. Eventually I have corrected there astronomical storage speed but nevertheless was stuck paying big overages for transport only a few additional products.

In general, had a fine experience with Best Cost, but a few things stand out that made it less than a stellar movement.

To begin with, I had been moving out of Chicago along with the movers threw a fit when they showed up that they could not block 1 lane of the street in Chicago so that they almost left before I begged and pleaded with them to stay because I was leaving the next day to get my own cross-country movement to Denver. Though they’re a Chicago-based company, they acted as though they had never transferred someone from town and they were really ready to depart rather than transfer me that was absurd. Fortunately, I convinced them together with my begging and pleading to park on Sheffield and said that individuals would push round their truck and there was no problems during the whole time they packaged and loaded me in their truck. How are you currently a Chicago based business and do not understand that you can not match your automobile in the street and you might need to block a lane? It occurs on nearly every Chicago road…

When the packaging got started,they had been comparatively quick which was fine. They were not the most gentle people I have seen move things and it revealed when several pieces showed up and were ruined. None of the products were of enormous value fortunately, but unsatisfactory to say the least.

I didn’t select this business, this company was picked by the moving logistics firm I used (Charter Van Lines) and I would never opt for this firm by myself. The quote I received from the logistics moving firm was approximately $2,500 less than what it was so I presume that since it had been two businesses I was dealing with, which:
1. Both firms need to get paid so that they charge more thus both may make a profit

I encountered some problem with customer support concerning confirmation of pickup date and there was some paperwork confusion since my transfer was a split cargo – a few things to me in California and a few to my son at Brooklyn. However, all of my worries had been addressed by the business and on top of that, the whole shipment arrived both places in time and without harm. The quote was among the cheapest I obtained, also. He said to me exactly what solutions are additional fees and we added them to the quote. He moved over my stock,number of boxes, packaging materials, details concerning the construction and theaccess for it etc. The cost he supplied was precisely what I paid! Nothingwas stolen or broken. We hired Best Cost in the recommendation of a friend who’d used them before, and now I am happy we did! They were more careful with our belongings than we’re!! They came right on time however we weren’t quite finished packaging when they came. They must work straight away, which makes us distance to complete packaging those few boxes. We advised them not to be concerned about the flooring at the old home since the new owners could be replacing them anyhow, however they covered up everything and took very good care of the home even if they did not need to.
