Beacon Moving & Storage are TERRIBLE. They estimate significantly cheaper costs for transferring your belongings, but you wind up paying for it afterwards, either in frustration, timing and money.Firstly, the business that comes to choose up your stuff isn’t known as Beacon, they’re just another firm named Amiran. They arrived to pick up our stuff on time (we moved in NY to AL), however about 10min as soon as they came, they stated that it would be more expensive than what I had been quoted by Joe since we surpassed”the cubic amount” that we offered to them on the telephone. To jack you about the cost they’ll say among those 3 items which you either exceed: the range of things on your record, the cubic volume or the pounds. And my things including my automobile was 1 MONTH LATE!!!! I invested over $3000 to get a 1 bedroom plus a car transfer from California to New York. Not including the $300 deposit that I paid to get my own things there on could 29th!!!! Everybody had a different cost and it looked like everyone was overlooking a chromosone once I wished to understand about pricing and birth dates!!! Don’t BOOK

This firm was really nice throughout the sales process but that ended up on pickup. To begin with, they had been also a day later than promised on pickup. Before they were even done loading they informed me that the price would be a lot higher than quoted. Without giving me a proper advice I received a call out of their delivery staff which they’re in their way to drop my bag to my destination speech at which I agreed upon and advised that the agreed upon contract would be the original contract and quotes and whatever it relies based on that contract because hauling fees, else I want no shipping. The group them came with a truck of that I had no opinion of my bag, the driver again insisted on registering a new contract that I cried and he responded with a grin saying sorry overlook if you do not sign the contract I’ll drive back along with your bag. To which I said that seems unreal. If you’re driving back that indicates that you don’t have my bag. Can I take a peek, he said he’s my bag but sorry miss I’ll need to drive back because you are not signing up new contract and that he left without letting me take a peek at my bag or shipping. Today today one day after I got a phone back from a guy from Beacon requesting me to sign a new contract, then cover equilibrium according to new fees and contract and redelivery fees, no matter that will be composed in the original contract and that I never shopped paying what I owe in the time of delivery.

Beacon isn’t but HUSTLERS attempted to con me from $500 additional while I  was on my way for my new place…. Had a contract that they didn’t live around. . They deny my calls and will not pay me for compensation or additional cash that I paid them for the transfer.

The transferring commpany struck on a persons auto in my complicated & did not even stop to submit an account and if they were advised they diden’t wish to spend the liability for the crash. The Supervisor was quite outspoken and horrible when informed by stated neighbor. My items have been broken, my boxes fell even with all the delicate notation on these. Alot of my items needed to be thrown off and now I need to report claims to pay the hurt. Additionally they quote you one price and if they come to pick up the items they attempt and bump up the cost. They do not include any verbal infomation on your moving checklist and then they attempt to say that they were not advised. When you attempt to get hold of them that they bounce you about and play telephone tag with you thus that they do not need to deal with the problem available. In my oponion I won’t ever work with or refer anyone for this firm.

The movers held our load hostage before we paid them an additional $500 by money order.  They stated that our things wouldn’t all fit in 1 truck an the excess cash was supposed to rent a different truck. As soon as I told the shipment representative that was a scam and they had a comprehensive inventory list and burden in order that they ought to know what size truck they wanted. He promptly starting crying and cursing at me and stated he’d leave 1/2 our items in Richmond unless we paid. We paid the commission merely to receive our items.
They delivery was by another firm though Joe in Beacon told me they’d be bringing in their trucks and with their own employees. I asked especially if Beacon had been a broker and he told me NO.  Our items came three days late and lots of the boxes were soaking wet at the floor and’d come un-taped.   Things had dropped from the ruined boxes and were also broken.  The movers had pushed the things, for instance, broken ones, back from the boxes and re-taped.  This was evident because lots of the products were no longer wrapped along with the newspaper was loose at the box.  There was mould on a few of our valuables from the moist boxes.  Total there were 34 broken items and also 2 pieces of furniture ruined.   Our 1 year-old mattress and box springs had been lost and they abandoned an aged cluttered set instead.  We needed a comprehensive inventory list together with the amount of pubs and furniture being transferred.  There are seven boxes overlooking and Joe in Beacon won’t return our calls nor have we received any insurance reimbursement to your damaged items.     
It’s been five months since the transfer and we’ve yet to hear from anybody at Beacon. Joe was nice and pleasant before the move but after we had troubles he, nor anybody with the firm, could take my calls or respond to my mails or letters.  My husband and I’ve moved a lot of times in the past thirty decades and we’ve not had such a lousy experience with a moving company.  Really we’d more things broken with this movement than any the prior motions united.
I wish I’d read all these awful these testimonials before hiring Beacon but  that I expect that his inspection saves someone else from going through what we did.
The humorous thing is that this business wasn’t any cheaper than the others I contacted and even more costly after paying the hostage fee. We paid $4300 for its transfer from Virginia to Florida and dropped roughly $3500 in damages and lost things.

The salesman, peter, whined about what which had to do with all our shifting. They’re the worst business to conduct business with and in addition they lost a few of my boxes and shattered glass shelves since they transferred my things off the truck twice. I continued calling Sunday and was eventually told someone could be in my flat between 10-12 on Monday. Then I had been contacted by the motorist that said 3. They ended up getting there about 6:30 PM. They also explained that they would send 3 people due to their postponed pickup. Two guys showed up. I showed them all that had to proceed. After about 4 hours that they had been”done.” I walked from my area to see my sofa, ottoman, and television stand that were among my list of things I’d given them beforehand. I walked down to find the truck and they’d shut it. I advised them they needed to select the sofa, ottoman and television stand to that among the movers stated that I taught them to not take it (I didn’t mention that). After placing the ottoman, sofa, and television stand at the van it required approximately 200 more square feet. I was then revealed my new invoice which was approximately $2000 more than that I had been quoted. I then called the company the subsequent days to receive it clarified to me and they gave me the run around, assured they would call me back (which they did not ), or might simply always inform me that I took up more space so I had been billed way more. They really texted to deliver sooner than expected which was great, nevertheless they delivered ONE guy to move me in. I predicted on his behalf (he did NOT ask me to do so, but that directs one particular guy to transfer things in?!) . They promised AGAIN they’d call back and they were delivering aid. Did anyone else encounter? NOPE. Can they call me back? NOPE. It was a true shame. It had been hard enough moving independently, but the entire experience was really stressful. Be cautious once you’re moving. The ideal price is most likely not actually the ideal cost. We utilized this terrible excuse of a business and with good sorrow.  Before an agreement and arrangement, they have been polite and eger.  Following the deposit has been paid, thats once the facts came.  Joe whined about our quotation and the”communication during the whole movement” is really a lie.  He even hung up in my spouse.  The movers arrived 6 hours late and required them 8 hrs to package and load a two bedroom apt.  It wasnt a beacon truck just like we had been advised.  I think it was USA shifting or something like this.  They didnt even have packaging material.  They made two trips to home depot for equipment in addition to utilizing 11 sheets and a mattress cover of all ours.  They took our belongings into Jersey and unloaded into a warehouse simply to re-load into some other truck to send to FL.  Damaged things and missing/stolen things were reported.  The so called National Claim Management firm is pretty much a fraud also.  I think it is funny seeing how after some study, is possessed by a lawyer called Orit Avraham.  No one each answers the telephone or reacts to emails.  Our claim was filed 4 weeks ago and cannot even receive a status update on it.  All these people today will need to get taught a lesson.  After reading all of the reviews posted following the move, I simply can not feel that a”firm” like those are permitted to operate.  I’ll be looking into some type of legal actions.  Someone needs to draw the line with those individuals.

We left a poor decision in using Beacon. Cost quoted at 800.00 and hijacked our possessions and required payment of 2,800.00. No choice but to pay.Delivery has been 10 days late. Antiques glass China cupboard was broken in addition to many different bits. Rude abrasive customer services. I can’t state enough NEGATIVE things relating to them. Use at your own risk! I can only envision any favorable testimonials are made by Beacon themselves. Just absolutely dreadful men and women. Driver who delivered hardly spoke English and shrugged his shoulders as a response.

Hopefully somebody will read this and rescue themselves from the annoyance and nasty men and women working for this corporation. We had been going our kid to CA from GA and picked Beacon based on cost and after speaking with them about the move. We were advised that the pick up date was May 26 and it was even confirmed in one of the mails to us as follows: Congratulations Tony Amato! You Have Booked Your Transfer for 5/26/2016! I even discussed this with Joe since I informed him I had been driving to Atlanta and coming on Thursday right when they picked up my horses things. They predicted Wednesday late in the afternoon to inform us they weren’t showing up till MAYBE Friday. The driver said he’d be there Friday morning between 6-7. They showed up in 830, no calls, no emails. They told us the shipping date was June 6 in my daughters new house in CA. They simply told her she would need to wait and it could appear next Monday that they 13th. She also called their customer support number and dispatch. Both said they’d phone her back. When nobody called her again she phoned again. This time the guy was really rude and completely lacked any client service abilities and advised my daughter that she had been lying and nobody ever said they’d call her backagain.

I’ve moved seven times throughout the nation and managed international relocations for big multinational businesses. I can tell you this, for a truth. They’ll lie to you and then just get nasty and mean for you. They are entirely disrespectful to their clientele. I’d strongly urge you to obtain another moving business. I would not suggest them to anybody at anytime for any movement and I’ve transferred households throughout the world, therefore I understand what I am referring to. Avoid such individuals. You may regret using these!

Spoke to those people 3 weeks brfore my movement. Inform them what I had..said it’s 250 cu feet and I will also add more things, complete price 787.50. Contracted to maneuver November 30, 2012, subsequently Thurs.. Nov. 29 telephoned me at about 6pm, stating they cant transfer me before Saturday, Dec 1, 2012. Upon shipping, my items have been packed onto one another, along with other folks things put in my yard to receive out my items. I had been shocked. Things were ruined, but now I’m rather pissed and allow it to go, since they explained I’m not getting my things until I cover for nearly 500 cu ft. I’m overlooking luggages, therefore I called the office and that I talked to manager….up for this day I still dont get my things.  I had been warned of those individuals, but P. looked so fair and reliable, so I dismissed the warning. Unusual enough to receive my company it had been very easy to speak to those people..after it had been nightmare. It was just like I’m coping with 10 unique businesses. The devil’s moving business. They set you things in the vehicle, mat up your quote, and then tell you nothing leaving the vehicle till you cover them, demanding money or money order because of previous experience, since consumer place”Stop payment  on credit and cheque card payment. Please don’t use this business, but rather listen to additional moving companies with appropriate business ethics rather than scam artist as such.

Worst moving business experience ever! Extremely bad customer support; unprofessional; not effective firm.  The absolute worst customer service experience I’ve encountered in years.  Liars and utilized combative discussions to induce us to cover their closing price that was $1,000 over they composed our quote to get before finalizing our bargain.  We had several things trashed and broken.  Nobody EVER took possession of our worries or even tried to help meet anything.  They needed money due to their inflated closing cost or”we will not ever send your stuff.”  The assumed managers are horribly insufficient excuses for leading by example.  There are so many negative elements to our expertise I couldn’t even start to list all of them here on this website.  Steer clear of this business.  Many other really professional movers available.

DELAY: I chased a transfer using a legitimate deposit. The movers showed up a week late, before calling me on to allow me to know of this delay. Beacon guarantees a 4-6 day delivery and it finally was 27 times from advised pickup to actual delivery. I always tried to get to the business for replies, and talked to the supervisor multiple days, but received inadequate and contradictory answers from several people. The shipping date has been changed each time that I contacted the organization. 
CONTACT & CUSTOMER SERVICE: The provider is really unprofessional and not possible to achieve. I called to talk to a supervisor and he insisted that he wasn’t in, when I’d only spoke with him. I called 20 days in a row with no response (caller ID). Eventually someone replied and explained,”Julie, quit calling, we aren’t likely to reply, Victor isn’t here.” I called 3 more times and next thing you know, there’s Victor.   You will find e-mails recorded on the Site, but when you try to”ship” the speech is”invalid.”   Though I had a rep, that I managed to easily reach to schedule and arrange the transfer, I haven’t once been in a position to achieve the agent as. Regardless of the various messages, even e-mails, along with telephone calls put, I haven’t got an answer. In Beacon Moving and Storage (NY), Victor is your most important supervisor and manager. I always tried to get responses concerning the delay and positioning of my things, but had been informed advertising,”I’ll contact me,” but he seldom did. INVENTORY: Beacon Moving and Storage (NY) took and wrong inventory at pickup and required zero stock upon delivery. They don’t tag any of your things in any way. Personally, I made a comprehensive inventory listing of my very own, that didn’t fit the copy that I purchased at pickup, also at shipping I personally had to stand in the truck and stage out my things. With my record, the movers tried to clarify they were completed, however I insisted that there was much more, that was later recovered in the truck. Without creating an inventory, I wouldn’t have received all of my things. 
TRUCK: Don’t let this business to transfer your things. Nothing is wrapped in, organized, or safe. Since the movers came, they had been trying to take out my items while other clients boxes were decreasing, hitting the floor, because of the absence of”packaging” and much more”throwing at the top.” Your things will be ruined!
CUBIC FEET: ” I had been nominated for 250 cubic feet. I gave a comprehensive inventory to the agent, together with quantified furniture. There’s an additional”packing” fee, which I used for the packaging some glass products, none of that left it in 1 piece throughout the transfer.
DAMAGES: You may lose an equivalent amount on the price of the transfer along with the things you’ll have destroyed entirely. I had been billed for Beacon to wrap the glass from my TV stand, and a single mirror, and a few picture frames, so all of those products were shattered to bits once I obtained them. All of my furniture has been ruined. My dresser was lost and had broken hooks, broken corners, along with the rear broken off. My shelves, bookcase, along with head/foot planks were scratched into the point at which the paint was totally eliminated. Somehow the grips to my bed (all 4) were ripped away. The boxes had been crushed, had holes, and a few even partially torn open. Additionally, many boxes have been moist all the way through to the contents inside, making substantial harm to photographs, publications, and other paper records.

OMG discuss a NIGHTMARE out of HELL! These movers are all scam artists to mention the least! To start with they will provide you a quotation and then if they return to maneuver you, then they jack up cost another million! Don’t fall for this! They then take apart things which shouldnt be removed and split them! All our furniture has been ruined. A gorgeous dining area table..destroyed…a Beautiful $800 dining room. . .destroyed. . .Expensive Frames ruined, and the list continues. Subsequently, when you attempt to phone Victor to refund you for the things ruined they refuse to phone you back or talk to you! They also advised us to get the staircase we had to pay $100 money but once they go there they attempted to scam us for $200 instead! Such liars! They also let you offer them a money order so when we gave them with a cashiers check that is even better then money, they denied it and wasted three hours Struggling to float until we switched into a money purchase or money! Additionally they didnt even get to us until 8 days later pickup! A one – two afternoon drive took 8 days to get them! The entire experience was a nightmare, so we believed we had been trying to find another firm off the web and utilized them by mistake. Dont make this exact same mistake! They’re a joke and a complete rip off!

I want I read testimonials about this business before employing them. I gladly would have paid more to make sure on-time shipping and at least average client services. I used this business because I had been assured service for those dates I wanted. The price was quite reasonable. On the day that they were supposed to find out my home goods I had been called and advised they wouldn’t have the ability to be present and they’d come the next day. Don’t Use This Firm. The only reason that they even got a single star was because I still could not perform an inspection without occupying least one. I’d give them not one if I could. Everything that came was ruined. Boxes crushed, furniture broken and payment has been required before they’d unload the vehicle. As soon as they began bringing the things in I could understand why. I’d not have compensated for the shipping when I now noticed what a mess that which was initially.

He became upset with me and accused me of not answering my phone (my phone log does not reveal any calls from them). At any rate, they showed up after dark on Saturday evening and immediately told me that I had to pay them 2150 to be able to get my own stuff delivered. I told them I had created a deposit of $1150 on this $2150 already. The motorist called the company and was informed I’d not. Please don’t use this business.   They’ve stolen our furniture and Won’t ship it.   We had our supply tripled without trigger.   They refuse to tell us in which our furniture is unless we cover them.   We have a quote for 1155 to send a Couple of furniture items and compensated them 750 thus far.   We have a call stating the delivery went up and now wil lbe over 2000.   We contacted the dispatcher Stephanie.   She was rude and hung up on us several times.   She informed us that her supervisor would call us and all the documentation of why the speed went up.   This hasn’t occurred.   We’ll be calling the government for stolen land

I reserved a transfer from DC to NY with Beacon Transferring around 3-4 months Ahead of Time. I’d multiple telephone calls with them confirming the date of this pickup and fall off. They sent me mails confirming the dates. Elizabeth Kisa, that I talked to multiple occasions, guaranteed me I had been paying for a VIP”all inclusive” package and EVERYTHING will be covered. All things considered, I gave them a $300 deposit since everything seemed great.

THE DAY BEFORE they were likely to pick up all of my things, they phoned me and stated THEY DON’T HAVE ANY TRUCKS AVAILABLE – EVEN THOUGH MY MOVE HAD BEEN BOOKED FOR 3 WEEKS. I needed to be from my DC apartment since my rental was ending and they gave me confirmation that my transfer has been reserved. As soon as I tried speaking to this shipment supervisor, she was SO OBNOXIOUSLY impolite, and pretty much stated that the affirmation did not matter and they would not have the ability to pick up my furniture around the afternoon they’d promised – WTF type of support and firm would be that?!?!? And then she proceeded to inform me that they”might” be in a position to pick up my belongings on another day but would not have the ability to send it to NY for at least 7-10 days, though I had a shipping date already confirmed. I’ve mails confirming that they can deliver my furniture on day asked daily and 3 more weeks have gone by. I had been told I’d get 24 hours notice for shipping as I would have to drive 300 miles to arrive. They said I shouldn’t have been told that the ensured day only because they have around 21-30 business days to send after the first consented afternoon. I would never have signed on if this was the situation. So I had been told at 6 de that they would be here the following day between 9 and 1. I was then known as at 9 p that it would be between 9a and 10a. So, I get up and push at 4 am and still no truck following 1p. They do not care that they are inconveniencing the client, they do not have some customer service abilities. The girl always says the identical thing… I had been going to phone you… total Lies. Now they’re allegedly broke down and there’s absolutely no strategy aside from a fighting game. They’ve no trouble lying to have company, and treating customers like dirt as well as inconvenient. I  scheduled a transfer with Beacon Moving & Storage (NY) ancient Dec. for my forthcoming move from N.C. to O.H..  The pick up date has been ensured with a deposit ($236) along with the movers never revealed and never contacted me.  They came over a week late to pick up my things but it’s now 20 days late from scheduled fall off and I haven’t got my items and haven’t got any replies from the business. The movers, client support and shipment are totally unprofessional. The movers took the erroneous inventory, billed me to get false distance and materials utilized, rather than wrapped some of my furniture.  Management, client support, and dispatch cut off me, spoke over me, and informed me they’d call back several times, but never have. I’ve been relocated at a house without a furniture or possessions for approximately a month, and still have no idea where my possessions are or when they will arrive. This is totally unacceptable, and I wouldn’t suggest Beacon Moving and Storage (NY) to some upcoming mover.

Beacon Moving and Storage initially appeared careful however they have been more eager to offer me a low ball cost for me to dedicate immediately. I equaling paying over 200% the amount I had been initially quoted and that occurred after all of my items were packed.

I wouldn’t urge beacon moving for anybody! Save your cash and your annoyance and Run another way!!! They offered me an”flat rate” of $2500 and stated I wouldn’t be billed more and when there weren’t any difficulties with the movers providing me another cost to get customer support since I’ve got a”binding contract”. Obviously moving day comes together and what do you understand… they bill me an extra $500. I was also assured I would get my things in 5 to seven days. So obviously I did not pack much for my own trip to my new house condition (mind you I have a baby ). I didn’t receive my things in more than 3 months! Absolutely absurd. Not only did I pay them $3000 however they also charge me 1 weeks rent in my new home to which I have not even been in a position to reside in because they’ve all my furniture. Whenever that I try calling them I have to make a few tries at it since nobody answers the telephone. This dreadful experience is similar to the gift that keeps on giving. My things FINALLY came yesterday and of course ruined! My bins were fully busted and covers were almost non existent. My boxes were all upside down and seemed like they have been through a war. The majority of my furniture has arrived broken I had been almost kn years along with the movers were so unprofessional and had no guilt. One of those men even made a comment and said for me”wait until you start your box and discover your chandelier broken”. Now I wished to punch the man because I understood he just didnt care for anything. In addition they made it seem like the business wasnt likely to even reimburse me for the broken furniture! I guess I will find out now once I phone them to place a promise in. Stay far far away from that provider is all I will say. Horrible support during!

I’ll continue to keep this brief as I’m fed up with this business. I recently transferred from Rhode Isldnad into Florida for graduate school and also had an absoulte nightmare of a movement because of Beacon. 1) They had been 28 days late, they whined to me everyday I phoned”we’ll probably be there tomorrw” this went on for nearly a month, so I needed to sleep on the ground like I had no furniture, fabrics, etc. 2) They stole my TV. When they filled my things I discovered they place a red fabric over my TV along with also a yellow cloth on every thing else, of course say this is the way they indicated what to slip. If they deleivered my things (overdue ) that the TV was lost, I still have no recieved some money with this and they aren’t returning my calls or emails. 3) my bike was ruined. I paid an additional $150 to allow them to make my own bicycle, of course it had tens of thousands of dollars of harm to it if it was sent. They’ve yet to cover this. 4) Total this business was exceptionally rude and also a whole scam, so I don’t understand how they’re running a business. 5) They brought me an additional $200 if the delievered my material, a month late!   Bottom-line DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, they’re a whole scam and total scumbags.

Don’t use them that they subcontract out your move to a different compant…I’d 1 month free storage that they had been forcing me to send early. . .then once I phone to let them understand I am prepared they inform me they’ve 21 business days to send & it is in my contract. . .ok I know I signed up paperwork that said that although obtaining a delivery date proved to be quite hard & rude customer support…I’ve multiple things broken and also the delivery folks looked like they didnt understand what was happening they needed to call and Request my speech because they didnt have it & they will charge un excess for what…

The WORST … BEWARE!!! This provider needs unwanted but I must give it a celebrity to perform the inspection. BEACON is a BROKER NOT A MOVER!! They use the title Beacon to make folks believe they’re the moving company that’s existed for a long time with the identical name.
I certain ally requested them if they’re moving agents or some the moving firm itself and they whined right off the bat and stated they had been the business. I didn’t want a broker!! After the truck came it was a brand new name. When I inquired why the title on the truck is not Beacon, I had been told that it was the exact same business. Lo and behold I wound up with a nightmare of a moving firm that required fourteen days to deliver my items, half had been missing and another half broken. That’s merely a review of the dreadful encounter I had using the moving business I never hired however, ended up with. Beacon was equally as dreadful and that I did predict the country to submit a complaint from Beacon but didn’t follow through because I had anything else happening and also in all honestly could not deal with all the lying cheat proprietor. He had been despicable!! I believed Becon was an older trusted moving firm. Nonetheless, this is nowhere near the reality. They’re most unprofessional, rude, twisted movers I’ve ever experienced. I’ve moved across state a few times and Becon is your worst movers I’ve ever employed. I was also told I would have a month free storage. This was a lie too.

I called Becon at June of 2018 and gave them a record of all of my family things. The sales man Kristopher Brown took down all of my information and delivered it to me personally. I analyzed it and it seemed right so that I signed up the contract to transfer my flat boxes and furniture for $2400. Somewhere between me registering along with the listing has been flipped over to dispatch, pages were eliminated. Nearly half of whom I told him wasn’t any more there. I didn’t observe the redone list before the movers arrived to the my flat on July 30th afterwards than we consented. The movers were dreadful. Among these reeked of achohol and cigarets, his name was Alex another employee couldn’t talk English. But he was able to inform me that the chief driver wasn’t a fantastic person. Upon arrival we all agrued concerning the listing and the sum I was billed and signed up for.

Alex telephone the director Bryan and he understood I was stuck. I’d already given them $800 deposit. On July 19th I phoned them to give them the address of this storage firm I’d used in Houston. They asked me when did I intend to be in Houston. Now, depending on the completely free month storage, I told them my plans were to be in Houston from September 1st. They said”Oh No” we can’t hold your furniture that long. I said”you told me that I had a free one month storage. They said we do not provide a complete month storage. We have up before the monthly to send it. They’re crooks. Bate and change. No great. Totally unprofessional. I had been advised that a truck could be departing on August the 23rd and I would need to maintain Houston no later than August 27th. I quit my job a week early and began preparing for the drive back to Houston by myself. My friend that was planning to fly to Houston couldn’t vary from August 31st to August 24th. Thus, I needed to drive from Ohio to Houston alone. I couldn’t manage to leave my furniture within their own storage for two more weeks until the next truck made, per Becon, which could have cost me $450 more. I’m writing this review on August 28th. I phoned their head quarters and has been told that they still could not provide me a date. Just that the motorist would call me if they were a day off. Now, know I’ve paid to get a storage device in Houston based on the info that they gave me. That is dreadful. They’re horrible and shouldn’t be permitted to keep on doing business in america.

The salesman Stan gave me a quote depending on the furniture that I explained. I used to not decorate nor did I put anything on. Following the movers loaded with the truck that they advised me I had been”over” over the cubic footage and needed to pay an extra $300. This mover moved things that they weren’t to take and abandoned things which were to be transferred and also charged us to get over we advised them to maneuver!! Over $2,000 and did not listen to my spouse and I once we advised them to ONLY proceed the cu. Ft. that has been at the quote, to stop after that amount had been reached and we’d proceed the rest! It required 1-1/2 wks to cover the invoice, the movers showed up and furniture has been broken (legs snapped off classic table, table top pulled from the thighs, electrical bird bath overlooking battery casing and complete top nozzle (can not use it in all), dishware crushed/smashed, classic agency’s draw grip snapped off, etc) of that I have taken photographs of. This was the worse encounter with”professional movers” that I have ever addressed. Horrible customer support, deceit, manipulation and benefiting from a scenario (abusive). This has caused me to intense stress and anxiety, of that I clinically suffer with.

Unfortunately they did not tell me that the title of these movers until they arrived so I couldn’t research his testimonials. Additionally BMAS never advised me that they were only a broker I believed it had been a moving business. They gave me this impression, I miss knew, I never will use a broker again. I’m from a military family and’ve been shifting all of my life and that really is the worst experience I have ever had. My stuff will be past the lawful shipping period and I still have no clue when it is coming. Could not post without a celebrities lol.

Worst experience ever. Don’t request their solutions. In the right time of preparing the movement, Beacon Rep. (Stan) was really friendly, useful and promising of their exceptional dedication. From the time that they billed the residue, Beacon Rep. Disappeared. They were overdue for collecting the product, impolite attitude, and also unprofessional. But word from the smart DO NOT USE BEACOM MOVING AND STORAGE to your next move locate somebody else anybody else these individuals are just hoping to receive your cash and as soon as they get it that they could treat you like crap.

This is undoubtedly the worst movers I’ve ever encountered. They extorted money from me on pick up in money and failed to provide in time, even threatening that when advice and additional money from ATM was not pulled my merchandise would be ruined rather than delivered. My delivery came two days overdue and numerous things were ruined. Further, I had been lied to about packaging materials and also the simple fact that the truck could be completely mine. It was not.

The quote given for us was $1700 to get a two bedroom flat after having a thorough list of things to send but were billed $3500 after items were loaded from the vehicle. The shipping by MA to TX has been sworn since 10-14 days maximum, contacted us about the 31st day. I paid $1467 1467 and $513 upfront and then $1527 at shipping time. Pick-up date: 11/08 Delivery Date: 12/09. My merchandise arrived 31 days from the day of pickup. The entertainment center, mattress base and also the dining room table have been severly damaged. 1 big box of sour (dishwasher safe cooking and keeping utensils) is missing.  Very bad customer service, rude and improper answers over telephone, failed to supply us with accurate particulars of this move. As soon as I began retaliating because of the injustice they stopped answering my phone calls. They are only agents, they organize truck companies and storage businesses to complete the transfer. Quite unprofessional and totally dishonest. The products are loaded and unloaded at least a couple times because it had been loaded and removed from our home in MA. The wear and tear over the brand new moving boxes and stains and spills clearly signify that. Additionally it has to have been managed by a lot of men and women who’d managed the unloading and loading tasks so poorly. I have registered a complaint with BBB and I am awaiting some suitable action.  I’ve a strong impression that the great reviews posted here have been by their own folks and aren’t legitimate. Please Don’t Be misled.

LIARS, LIARS, LIARS!!!   My spouse and I wanted a moving firm immediately to move from Alexandria, VA into Belmont, CA (Fundamentally Washington D.C. into San Francisco) to get a new occupation.   The salesman I spoke to, Joe, was a smooth talker from the Beginning and promised that our things will arrive at July 6th.   They picked up our items on June 27th so That’s almost two weeks of shipping period.   He had been sure that the window at receiving our items will be July 6-8th.   I understand now that he simply wants people to utilize their business via whatever way possible.   We believed him and made certain we came at July 5th to Satisfy our furniture and move to our flat.   We were beginning to cover lease the afternoon we have there (and resort stays).   From then on it’s really been a series of calls and folks saying”your items will probably arrive in 3 times”.   WE STILL DO NOT HAVE OUR THINGS plus it’s been 26 calendar days (or even 17 BUSINESS times as they prefer to refer it as).   We discovered that our contract really contained an established range.   It states first delivery date is July 6th and latest delivery date is July 27th.   They never verbally mentioned that.   They Simply slip it into your contract.   Seems like they’re constantly thinking about getting here about the”latest date”.   However They’re moving even beyond that date.   5 days ago I called the motorist, Demetri in Amiran Van Lines.   They’re the firm which they use for transferring, not Beacon just like you might think.   4 days ago I had been told our items will arrive Monday, now, July 22.   2 days past the truck driver said it’d be Wednesday, July 26th and this afternoon he said that they gave him more stops to perform (they combine your furniture along with other individuals’ and shed off their things across the road ) and that now the date will be sometime”in the end of the week”.   Mike, a manager, told me last week that our matters were sitting in storage for the initial fourteen days, since”a truck had broken down”.   After reading some other reviews, I find that they say that, however they really attempt getting more tasks until they opt to move our items. We’ve tried speaking to George, the Proprietor.   The 1 time that my husband got on the telephone with him that he was rude and Wouldn’t listen.   He also guaranteed some date for us to hang up the telephone.   That date came and went two weeks ago. I simply called the dispatcher line again asking what happens when our items get here beyond their”newest delivery date” (that Is Extremely probably because the motorist has roughly 5 or 6 more stops along the way and that he is not even in Missouri however ).   The manager is”likely to phone me back” following the 21 business days that actually means I will be phoning him following Monday again.   They consistently say they will call you straight back rather than do. Beacon Transferring was scheduled for a month to maneuver my 73 year-old mommy on11/14/14(Friday) and predicted on 11/11/14(Tuesday) and stated they’d be there on 11/12/14(Wednesday),two weeks early,since they had a delivery from Miami to go north and they stated they’d either do two days early or couldn’t do the move in any way. After speaking with Ryan(completely unprofessional) he consented to help my old mum package the remainder, if we’d proceed early. I eventually consented. They appear on Wednesday(two days early) start taking a look at what and began mentioning to my mother that she would need to cover boxes, bubble wrap etc.They afterward said her desk would not match and they were not taking apart. I called Ryan, who jumped to be an extremely nasty individual and stated they werent moving. I said you promised to help her pack the rest items free of cost. He stated he never consented to that. I stated you inconvenienced us so you could earn more cash. Then he said I had been dumb and pulled his guys off!  I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND ARE concerned about LINING THIER OWN POCKETS, NOT MY ELDELY MOM!

I’m so very pissed off with this disgusting business and the way they handle their clients. Every single employee I dealt with following the pickup of my furniture was quite stern. I’m pregnant and they didn’t get all of my possessions like crib, mattress frame, television rack, lamps, mattress, and box spring out of our storage. Though it had been from the contract for all things to be from the vehicle. Then they attempted to con me from an extra $500.00 bucks to deliver the remainder and said there wasn’t any longer space, but when I paid the additional that they would make it match! How can you do this to people? These scavengers do not deserve to conduct business and that I expect they falter. The owner and manager did nothing to assist and hung up on me and my husband many occasions concerning the unprofessional mess! Whoever is considering employing a moving company, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I will attempt to review again after the transfer but this review is for the 1st telephone from this inspector contracted by Independent Moving Solutions (the agent I reserved who contracted them). They asked what flooring I reside in (3rd floor, no lifts ) and said they’ll charge me with labour and staircase charge that I won’t absolutely pay because I’ve paid Independent with $75 stairs charge, I was certain which 3rd floor, 30 measures, no lifts. They even alleged that Independent gave them the go signal to bill. Called Independent moving options to type out this issue and I had been told there’s not any need to cover (of course as it’s been paid) later they known as Beacon Moving and Storage supervisor. We dont need to prepare the refreshments and trick understanding that they desired to do something illegal in the first location. Now I am scared for my things

Don’t USE! Paid a deposit to get a date, not revealed, not called. Still waiting to get a refund. Were told that they had been in my place and could phone the day before. Don’t phone wouldn’t go messages. Ultimately reach somebody who states they will not be arriving. THEY SUCK!

Don’t utilize Beacon again!! They guaranteed delivery, setup, and 30 day storage when needed for the payment.   When truck came, my mother’s apartment wasn’t prepared, therefore Beacon told me that they wouldn’t cover storage and it’d cost me to additionally pay for one more team to appear and create delivery. The sales man was helpful and we could have a fantastic price from them.  The difficulty began on the afternoon of the transfer.  They were hours late and if they showed up, they were not even technically this”Beacon” that we hired.  They had been their”sister” company, Amiran.  Now, I am writing an overview of Beacon because they ought to be accountable for who they contract out their work to.  Amiran came about 6 hours late, billed us A LOT more than what was quoted.  Plus they play the wonderful man by stating that they’re going to cut us a break, not charge us $XXX for stairs, but instead just $XX. . .nah, let us make it $XX.  Along with the lead mover provides you his private amount to call him when we are prepared to get our stuff.  Thus, you leave with a warm & fuzzy great feeling about the corporation.  Two weeks go by and we’re calling them every day.  Either you do not get a response or somebody replies and says they will call you straight back by the close of the day.  This occurred for a week right.  We didn’t have any idea when and if our stuff was about to make it into our house.  Eventually after we’ve got a hold of somebody, we could settle on a date for shipping.  They were supposed to arrive about 5-6pm.  They did not phone us until 10pm, on a weekday, yet.   As soon as they came , they wanted to charge us another $300 for the”additional steps” they needed to take.  Which, incidentally, was quantified & calculated from the man really taking measures – no official measuring apparatus of any type.  We advised them to simply float there and we needed to cart every thing in ourselves.  Besides this bad provider, we’d damaged merchandise – a clock that’s in bits, a seat that has been ruined.  I wouldn’t recommend this business to anybody.  They’re unprofessional, unreliable, and overpriced.  WORST service and business ever.

Like I was doing my online search for an upcoming move, I wound up onto their website and needed to input my email and telephone number to have the quote. I obtained a vague voicemail a couple weeks later from somebody called”Peter,” who desired to talk with me personally about my forthcoming move. Believing it had been the moving firm my new occupation had contracted I gave him a call back. It just took a couple of minutes to understand that this guy was going difficult for the market, and after searching to the confusion I attempted to eliminate the line. Long story short, Peter called m a”f*ck*ng b*tc$” and wrapped up on me at the procedure. Even if I did not already have a moving business figured out, I wouldn’t ever go together. Discuss rude, unprofessional and inept. And after reading the testimonials I can not say I am surprised they have a dreadful reputation.

Initially was a really great job till they make my bedroom flooring all scratched and has been below the bed and they refused to get repaired; I must find someone to repaired and invest nearly $ 1,000.00 for labour and materials; therefore that I learned my lesson never again!!!!

I won’t ever use this firm or the firm who joined me to them, Greatest Movers of America. The quote that they gave is solidly JUST an estimate, particularly when the men and women that do the loading dont allow you to know you’ve achieved the estimated amount since they’re loading. They are tough to get in contact with, they dont respond if you call. When they do it is consistently the run around and it is bad company all together. I’d get to speak with a woman, she was fine initially but afterwards she wasn’t. They have inadequate communication within the business also, and that which was more complex than it ought to have been. I hunted up Brooklyn Movers online since I was having issues together and also they have an F rating and aren’t registered or recognized by the BBB. Not a fantastic idea to use this firm. It is a scam and poor organization.

Don’t Use BEACON MOVING AND STORAGE!!! – They put expectations for you the client and don’t follow through. – poor customer service–  once you get them to talk and have them fix their error, you receive finger pointing, plenty of yelling and speaking over you rather than accepting responsibility. Below is short narrative, I will not go into complete detail since I am very pissed off that I got taken by this organization. However, I need to give others a photo of my nightmare encounter, so other logical individuals like myself, who prefer working with additional professional and fair folks, can remain away from Beacon Moving and Storage. Tanisha, customer support (I use the word broadly ) disconnected my phone and moved me to other people without describing why I phoned or why she moved me at the first place (picture having to describe to 7 distinct folks why you predicted –WHEN YOU DID NOTHING WRONG and those customer support folks (like supervisors and supervisors ) are speaking over you, yelling at you and making remarks like. . ” It is not my fault if somebody else didn’t do what was requested”. What a F*$#^ nightmare! Matters took on a completely new low once the proprietor (MICHAEL G.) took my telephone. He started out with–  maybe not a fantastic morning or standard customer support nicety as you would anticipate. He arrived me firearms… telling me fundamentally what customer support told him (nicely I shared my own experience with their customer support –and as I continued conversation with Michael G, I immediately became clear who played a significant role training”customer support”). I received no chance to describe my position and why it needs to be dealt with, he completely negated the reality I had an email communicating course which obviously affirmed my position–and affirmed the fact that client support agreed and affirmed once my furniture was likely to be sent, and on both event no shipping was made. Michael G. could have none of it. . Now the yelling started along with his thick emphasis kicked in. I felt as though I had been at a bad gangster picture! People, once the owner of the provider shows such disdain for the client. Its time to stop the bus, walk away penalizing and get the hell out of there!  Hope that this helps your decision. C!

My transfer was supposed to start on March 30 between 8 and 10 am.Nobody showed up and that I could not reach anybody at any of the telephone lines to select from.  I kept calling since I thought they’ve run away with my residue.  Eventually at 1:15 pm that the motorist contacts me to inform me that they’ll be in our home to select up between 2-5 pm.  I inquired where they had been and why did not anybody contact me.  The driver advised me that they had been right round the corner and they also explained that they attempted to phone the day earlier but did not get a response along with their supervisor told them to not leave an opinion.  NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE???? Ludicrous.  At approximately 4:30 pm that I had the driver’s mobile phone and call him to learn if they were planning to make it by 5.  He explained it wasn’t likely to be between 5:30 and 6:00pm.  Once they came , they showed up using an obsolete binding quotation set together months back and did not even fetch a wooden cage that I pd an additional $100 for to wrap a precious curio.  They advised for the that they’d do their very best to pack it so nothing has broken.  They have a peek at 3 additional curios I needed and said I’d need to be billed with an add’l $180 to the excess packing materials to package them that they would provide me a bargain due to the mistake on what.  It took them until 1:30 am, slamming doors at a condominium assoc.  Subsequently the principal driver Roosevelt came to me when everything was at the vehicle and told me that the load was over by 150 cf.  That they would do the very best that they can to keep prices down since I was jobless.  Then he brought out the stock list that he was placing together along with several other files.  He asked me if the soonest I could get the load and that I advised them 4/2.  He put that to the paperwork but then he set down they’d until 4/23 to shipping that the furniture.  I questioned this due to the binding quotation, ” it stated 1 to five business days.  He advised me to not be worried about it since his boss gets him set it like this for everybody.  Well I was not planning to sign it since I could not wait that long to get my things.  He explained it’d likely arrive either 4/2 or even 4/3.  I was so angry with the manner that this whole situation was treated that I contacted the business once I arrived at my destination also talked about”Joe” about exactly what transpired and what the driver did and what they did not have in their ownership.  I asked to get a reduction at the conclusion period and he explained he’d not heard of anything else which occurred and did not know why they had been so late.  I told him that the driver said that they had been steered down to Palm Beach to pick up yet another load before coming into my home.  I am single and that I did not love that two guys which I did not understand came and remained that late hours of this afternoon.  He explained that he would investigate to find out whether he can get me cash off and he’s yet to get me back and that I can not get in touch with him.  Don’t conduct business at all with someone by the title of”Victor”.  He is arrogant and demeaning and that he will not even tell you that his name nor his boss’s name.  He rambles on about his project description that I couldn’t care much less about.  He explained that my things will arrive Monday through Wednes following week.  This will be unacceptable.  A west coast to east shore load carrying 10 business days and it is just assumed take between 1-5.  It is Friday now.  I spoke yesterday on the dispatcher and he informed me that my things will arrive at this weekend and that someone will contact 24 hours earlier.  I phoned back once again to speak into”Joe” to learn the last amount of this transfer so that I might find a money order prior to the weekend.  He explained again he needed to inquire and that he still has not contacted me.  I might not be in a position to acquire a money order due to the weekend to get the amount due because I really don’t know the sum due yet since they neglected to phone me.  It is now the weekend and now that I understand I will not have the ability to find anyone at the business because apparently nobody operates on the weekends there.  This firm has so little respect for anyone’s property I would not recommend them to anybody moving down the road apart from across the usa.  They speak down to you once you’re looking for out info and they allow you to feel as if you ought to do them a favor.  This really isn’t the way a company ought to be run.  One more matter, they are going to tell you that you won’t be able to locate them to the Better Business Bureau since the BBB hasn’t updated their advice.  Well I predicted.  They aren’t a part of this BBB rather than was.  They tell you that this to get your confidence and your enterprise.  The motorist comes across as being the best and most genuine person ever but again what boils down to is that which you register.  I am being held accountable now for registering up a document that says that they have until 4/23 to send my things to my new home in Ohio.  They all I’ve within their own warehouse and I must suffer in the hands of the merciless people.  I was also told that if a furniture is packaged on a single truck which can it be removed from this truck and set in a warehouse before another consolidation movement goes how you are heading.  Do not allow this driver inform you or let you sign anything as his boss just informs him to put this on there and that it does not imply anything.  IT DOES.

It was a little move: a pair of master bedroom furniture (king mattress, mattress, box spring), big dresser w/ connected mirror, along with 2 big nightstands. I had been providing this furniture for my son and also daughter-in-law. My main gripe is that the furniture had been sent at 10:30 at night during a Sunday night; the movers had been unapologetic about the moment, were dumb, were careless (dropped things two ); they awakened both kids, among whom needed to go to college the following moment. Two things were ruined. As soon as I phoned Beacon to complain, I had been known by three unique individuals for their manager; once I made him a voice message, then he never responded. Eventually I wrote him a letter and that he phoned me and said He’d figure out why the shipping wasn’t so late at night; five times after he hasn’t called me back, but I emailed him a peek two weeks past.   Additionally, I was likely to have a telephone call once the furniture has been 24 hours out of the destination; I never did. After I did talk with the manager, he explained it had been important for him to boost customer support, but I have definitely never seen any signs of this.

Allow me to begin by stating that their earnings man and their delivery crews were fair, courteous and hard working. The exact same can’t be mentioned for the proprietor. Besides being unprofessional and rude (denied to place the things in which they were supposed to move – according to the contract/agreement), Victor created some very prejudiced and hurtful opinions. At the  3 years I’ve lived in the house I haven’t been exposed to these bigotry. Made me over a bit uneasy. Particularly when he began walking round the home and questioning me concerning the property/yard.

The original communication with Nicole was quite excellent. She supplied a fair price and ensured me that Beacon will be doing the transfer from NY to NH.   On Monday April 29, 2013, rather than Beacon showing around pickup the things, two people in Amiran Van Lines arrived. When I questioned them, they told me that they are a part of Beacon and frequently handle little jobs if the Beacon trucks are all busy. (There was no communication from Beacon to me or my spouse regarding anyone Apart from Beacon employees handling the movement ).   This is where the problems started:   1- The glass shelves have been eliminated from the China Hutch and bubbled wrapped for security. On the other hand, the metal shelving mounts where the shelves place were abandoned from the cupboard. They finally dropped , and left indentations at the bottom of the cherry cupboard.   Two – The wooden cupboards have been abandoned in the cherry audio cupboard. They then fell during traveling and broken the glass at the ideal front door of the cupboard, along with the interior of the cupboard is marked. Presently there’s broken glass at the door that might lead to harm whilst waiting for a settlement by Beacon. (Both of those issues were due to neglect on the part of the team ). 3- The Ideal hand side of this little desk has roughly a 1″ square of wood chipped off.   4- The left arm of a single cherry dining room seat is snapped completely off. If it Can’t be mended, then an Whole set of 6 might Have to Be replaced.   4- The team said They were carrying the things to the Beacon warehouse in Brooklyn, NY to be saved until being re-loaded on a truck to be sent to Bedford NH.   5- On Friday May 3, 2013, following many attempts to reach somebody in Beacon on all of the recorded phone numbers, to learn what time to expect a shipping, I eventually spoke with a gentleman in shipment who said I had to talk to either CC, Mike or George at a different amount.  I did attain CC who promised to not Have the Ability to Get to the truck driver on his mobile but might Try to reach him the following manner.   In the early day, somebody called who stated he had been the Beacon manager, also advised that the truck had broken down in CT and that he had been sending a mechanic along with another truck into this place. But, our furniture wouldn’t be delivered before Saturday May 4. Additionally, he’d telephone me no later than 5P. M. on Friday to inform regarding what period on Saturday the delivery could be made. (As of now, no telephone has ever been produced ).   I eventually got a call at roughly 2P. M. on Saturday, notifying that they’d arrive involving 3P. M. and 4P. M.   6- When the truck came, the title on the truck has been Quality Transfer. When I questioned that, I had been advised that the project was passed off from Beacon into Amiran to Quality. I was also advised that they picked up the load out of Amiran’s warehouse at Linden NJ at 5 A.M. on Saturday.  So now, an Individual must question if the project was ever started before Saturday.   7- The team from Quality, while they had been hardworking and very agreeable, refused to take some of their cardboard or other garbage they attracted , back to NY. The team said that their boss didn’t need it return to NY due to the expense to eliminate it. The client should not have to cleanup after a moving team.   In summation, after studying three recent negative reviews on the BBB site, the above scenario appears to be somewhat regular for this particular corporation. Not only are there any damages to the furniture, but there’s obviously continuing mis-representation and neglect involved.

Very deceptive and unprofessional Business.   A class in customer support is much required in the Manager to the vehicle drivers. They guarantee that you date and can not send. READ that the (a very expensive mistake that I have ) contract carefully before you first and signal.   I have worked in customer support for over 25yrs and I hadn’t ever spoken to a client support. They’re all about getting the cash and not about Great support.   I waited 2-1/2 months while they travelled up and down the state of Florida making deliveries prior to my furniture was sent after Xmas. I asked delivery ahead of the New Year. I had been advised, I Must Consider my men who’re out on the street and that I have them working on Xmas, but that I can not have them operating for New Years.   Think about the client who’s paid you over 60 percent of this fee and you inform me you are more concerned about your motorists compared to the client. Wasted one whole week listening to some motorist guarantee delivery and that he was a no show, no telephone without any apology. After all I received was, so he should not have said that and I will talk to him. Back and forth dialogue with (Mike G.) the manager and he’s just one RUDE individual. What a sham of a company they operate. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from the organization. The actual cash you believe you are saving is not worth the headaches you will receive.   BTW, my furniture has been placed into storage while I was on my way home. I had been told that after I left the payment, then I would pickup the storage essential in the desk. They threw the secret to the storage to the device, rather than leaving it using the workplace as promised. After having a large business with this transfer, we needed to search for a smaller firm due to their massive price. Today we’re happy that we hired a smaller but more effective firm, Beacon Moving and Storage. The movement with this business was excellent much more than we ever thought.
