Moved from Bridgeton, New Jersey into Claymont, Delaware November, 2018 through Bayshore Allied of Delaware. A”Bob” out of Allied gave us a quote of $14,000 for its transfer. When the move began, we discovered nothing but cursing ang complaints against the inspector’s group boss,”Shane” (i.e.”Bob does not understand exactly what the”F-Bomb” he’s doing and this movement should have cost $10,000 longer ). Following the dreadful move, using a large number of ruined irreplaceable and expensive things, missing cash, pricey men’s colognes, along with a prescribed CDS medicine we afterward discovered that a”team leader” gets paid each task whether it requires a day or months and he pays his team. That is precisely why we experienced an extremely shoddy, hurried job (i.e. with a”cardboard ramp” slipping bins and boxes down Bilco measures on a concrete floor). This together with all the”team leader” prompting the team to”rush .” The”independent” appraiser came 08/20/2019 because our estimate of compensation has been over $10,000 and that I expect to see exactly what Allied must state which may direct our telephone to a different appraiser and legal aid. BTW, I was also advised by Allied that there’s a $500.00 deductible even though they did the compensation. I’ve 159 photographs of broken items. Too bad that I can only place two 6mb pics here.
Even the estimater, Bill, GUARANTEED they understood how to deal with our most antiques – a significant concern because we inherited plenty of heirloom antiques out of the my grandparents as well as my spouse’s family. We went together. Not sure that it could have gone wrong! Dozens of pieces of furniture broken, shattered… heaps of boxes fell, smashed! They finally had a few furniture mended, but whatever else that they absolved themselves of any & all obligation. So all of the broken Bennington figurines, figurines, etc… absolutely no reimbursement!
Additionally, evening of shipping they stated we had a week+ to undergo everything. Upon submitting lengthy collection of itemized harms, they now said”All damage should be noted daily”, such as we had the gut to start all these smashed packaging boxes which first night! Lies, lies, and more lies… plus they wouldnt take ANY responsibility! Even blamed us!
Following months of arguing with these, we probably got ~40 percent of financial worth back on tens of thousands of bucks worth of heirlooms. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE TRUST ALLIED!
