They underestimated my transfer purposely to acquire the contract and subsequently sold it to some other mover. These men are agents not movers. Upon discovering that they’d underbid, and then intentionally sold to some other inspector who at the end was likely to bill me even more since they had been misinformed by Atlantic Express. I cancelled my package once I understood the scam and they wouldn’t refund any of my cash though NO SERVICES had been awarded. They maintained all my deposit though they’d done nothing but get caught until they can steal more of my cash. Because they kept my cash with no service or product it’s THEFT. They had been completely defensive and confrontational when I cancelled. Quite a few attempts by telephone and email, just to be informed with great fortune with trying to have a refund.

I haven’t got a call back and haven’t obtained my possessions. . .do NOT employ this business if you don’t would like your items stolen!

Just wanted to devote a fantastic word for those men at Atlantic Xpress. Though not a huge firm, they managed themselves and more significantly managed my items together with the utmost professionalism and care. Significant comparison to the horror stories I have learned about a few other firms my pals. If you’re hoping to pay just the quote offered to you from Atlantic Xpress and you need a professional plumber, not a broker, I would strongly suggest not using this specific organization. I had been provided a binding quote by Atlantic Xpress and has been convinced by them that the cost wouldn’t shift unless I loaded extra items not recorded on the initial stock list. My spouse and I moved through the list multiple days together with Patrick and Sam to make sure we had the most appropriate stock and cost. We were also supposed to have an onsite quote by Sam and that he never revealed, emailed or called, despite asserting he did.

On the afternoon of the movement the moving business that’s subcontracted by Altantic Xpress inform me I have loaded over cubic feet, not things and I want to cover almost $2,000 over my so called binding quote by Atlantic Xpress. I challenge that this and refuse to register the paperwork simply to be coaxed by Sam, the owner of the moving business and the manager to registering the paperwork, and otherwise I’d have needed to unload the vehicle or take things from their truck.

I keep to dispute the cost together with Sam, and he informs me the initial contract and quote I’ve with Atlantic Xpress is no more binding because I signed up another Bill of Lading (which lawfully is not accurate ). He also proceeds to inform me that the binding quote locks in an interest for its quantity and gas surcharge which I loaded longer cubic footage compared to anticipated. This in spite of the fact that this is never revealed up front, we’re also told the cost would simply change if we affluent things not recorded on the first stock list and the Atlantic Xpress contract says clearly:”Your quote cost is guaranteed to not change if you don’t purchase extra services, add extra items, or added cubic footage/weight to be transferred which aren’t recorded on the quote.” Both myself and Sam confirmed I didn’t load extra stuff or cubic footage which was not recorded on the initial quote. Eventually I am told I want to attempt to negotiate directly with the moving business since they do not agree to decrease the purchase price, despite the fact that I contacted Atlantic Xpress and agreed to the cost together.

The movers themselves were Citi Movers. The movers in source were cluttered, abandoned things in virtually every room which I needed to package myself, so that they snapped a lamp at my own dining area and did not inform me, and utilized my own personal boxes I’d bought to pack my possessions. In addition they mailed the movers into the incorrect address for shipping. The only real positive was Richard and his assistant on shipping day. They were quick, professional, and also did an fantastic job despite being delivered to the incorrect address and demonstrating up more than 4 hours late.

Thus again, if you’re expecting an true professional moving business and a really binding quote that will not abruptly change on the moving day, then I would highly urge you to not select Atlantic Xpress.

These men did a good job moving all of my things. The kayak I for some idiotic reason chose to haul to Florida:-RRB- The movers had been fairly friendly and the shipment was really helpful during. Turned into a day late on the rescue but kept in contact throughout.

I wish to create note about working with Sam Pierce. Our moves out of Medford Or to Vancouver WA and from Reno NV to Vancouver WA went nicely due to Sam. He is professional and reliable. The organization that he contacted to provide our belongings tried to make adjustments to the arrangement but Sam fought for us and was on our side all the way. I will urge his company to everybody. It is hard picking up and moving an entire house halfway through the nation. Having completed it a few times already (my husband is in the army ) certainly made me cautious of things getting a left turn. This time nonetheless everything went really smooth. My rep was useful and a shot. They did a very detailed packaging of my vase set and did not possess a mindset. Everything was on time and in 1 piece. Will probably be calling you again in the future! Really delighted with the way that my movement was treated. I took the dip of going cross-country after completing school… did not have lots of things but that I did have some classic furniture pieces which have been in my loved ones and mean much to mepersonally. The men who did the packaging wrapped and loaded all with attention. Been burnt by movers bunch of occasions before but these men did right by me.

The great people at Atlantic Xpress Movers assisted me along with my move each step along the way. I’d lived in 1 home for more than twenty five decades and then chose to retire to the south property and had no idea of what was involved in packaging up a life of things but when it came time to ship it on its own way one telephone to Sam and his staff and they took it from there.
