    Long-distance move from Houston, TX
    No rights as a consumer!!??

United Van Lines/ Armstrong relocation packed our furniture up on 6/13/17 at Houston TX. We came in Nevada and were SUPPOSED to get our furniture delivered to 6/21-6/27. It’s currently JULY 7th and we JUST got the term our furniture wouldn’t be delivered until MAYBE 7/21…that a complete MONTH beyond our shipping window of 6/21. I can’t say in words how hard it is having a poor back to sleep using a blow-up mattress, do without the basic things in life such as a desk, chairs, fridge or clothing for a complete month!! WARNING: I had been told by my attorney that we as customers don’t have any LEGAL RECOURSE except for”file a complaint” with the Motor Carrier Association.
I WOULD NEVER USE UNITED OR THEIR LOCAL AGENT ARMSTRONG RELOCATION!!!!

    Worst Moving Company

This needs to be the most powerful moving company from the enterprise. They do not respect their timelines, provide quite inadequate communication to their customers and direction will little or nothing whatsoever with attempting to help fix issues. Please if you don’t use this business. We were much better off leasing a U-Haul and employing loaders and unloaders to assist.

    Movers BEWARE

This review is about Armstrong Moving Solutions San Antonio, LLC that is a growth of Armstrong Relocation located in Memphis TN.

Armstrong Relocation from San Antonio, TX conducts on the dishonest performance and their President could care less. Armstrong Relocation will low-ball your moving quote, guarantee you an idle receipt date, send your products overdue and then ignore you in the event that you find out about a problem.

Their workers will treat you nicely before you employ them, but as soon as they sell you that is where the”customer comes first” attitude ends.

FYI: Each pod that they utilize is 300 cubic ft. In roughly 305 cubic ft, the transport container could hold up to 2,500 pounds. That’s a delivery container standard.

Know the delivery criteria before selecting a moving company particularly Armstrong Relocation at San Antonio.

As the customer, shield yourself by being swindled by this business and request they supply you with significant evidence that your products were sent in the amount of containers that they bill you for.

You won’t know whether you”owe” them over your initial quote before 30 days following your move also. Curious how that works out.

Armstrong Relocation at San Antonio, TX will OVERCHARGE you and refuse to offer any proof of your dispatch. Offer your company to a honest company who cares about their clients.

    Armstrong Relocation Itasca Move

The president arrived at our home in 9/10 and composed the transfer for us to leave a massive house and ship half of the contents to half and storage into a rental home. 2 decades later when we had been going his counterpart came into our home to plan the next movement. He would not leave our home without ensuring we compensated for additional insurance on the go. He explained without it we’d be underinsured. We transferred 12/12. Problem is the excess insurance just covered the materials coming in the leasing not what was initially placed in storage. So the $1,800 table which has been divided in half has been covered at a speed of .30 pennies per pound. The superintendant within this movement showed us paperwork in which it had been ruined entering storage and the movers had neglected (he explained purposely) to get us sign the paperwork. Obtaining a reply from this business was just like pulling teeth. My husband needed to visit the workplace to locate the president to find any response. Can I mention rather than those 2 trucks we had been anticipating they shipped you, packed it and also the transfer took 13 hours. Tired movers abandoned significant items in our garage which we needed to move ahead. Finally the firm offered us a little test. Can I recommend this corporation? Never.

    Broken table claim

Claims delivered a individual and after calling them they offered me a minimum volume? It is not the amount it is the only real way they reacted! I needed the glass to be replaced now and for a couple dollars more they might have had all my company and buddies! Stupid, because I offer them a D-

Mike and his group are the best

They came when they could after I called to inform them with the delivery containers were delivered early. They were quick, efficient and well ready to load my own belongs to the transport containers. If you’re in doubt about hiring somebody, I’d hire them over and over. They’re well within the 5 star rating here.
While they didn’t move me since I had been moving out of Washington State to Texas, they Could match everything I had into two moving containers

    Armstrong move

This was undoubtedly the best move we’ve ever needed – from Gary and Jessica in Armstrong. The group that came to package up things did an superb job and worked quickly and were quite efficient- they did not attempt to tack on boxes or packaging.  Subsequently the 5 men who worked tirelessly for 14 hour days to load the truck – THEY WERE EXCELLENT, they always had a fantastic attitude. In addition to all this, they delivered the 2 trucks filled with furniture AHEAD of shipping date. I would recommend them to anybody since they surpassed our expectations and very honestly that’s tough to do because we’ve got high standards.

    Stress-free relocation!

I labored with Erin Skinner in Armstrong Relocation to transfer my house furnishings from Iowa to North Carolina. So candy to utilize, Erin was there across the way to check and also make sure I did not have some worries. A team came to my home and packed my things in boxes. The direct writer took his job very badly and was meticulous in packaging each and every thing with care. The truck arrived at my new house in Charlotte punctually in line with the program I was initially supplied. Packing and unpacking, the crews set cardboard down as not to destroy my carpet. Everything has been delivered with caution and the 3 gentlemen even helped me put together a number of my furniture.

I can’t think how easily my move went. It was simple and I did not worry. Erin made sure I had all of the info I had constantly and called to check regularly. If I’m ever in a situation to relocate again, I will surely be using Armstrong Relation for me there!

I didn’t have some broken items in the procedure!

    Long-distance move from Virginia
    A Marvelous Stress-Free Move

I’ve had the most fabulous experience with Mayflower Moving Company transferring my possessions out of a storage device in Virginia into a storage device in Kentucky. It must be mentioned that this inspection is in respect to the service that I obtained from Mayflower’s licensed bureau in Armstrong Relocation and Businesses in Knoxville, Tennessee. It should also be mentioned that Mayflower was bought by United Van Lines in the 1990s, therefore trucks with both trademarks are utilized.

I spent a few fourteen days exploring moving companies and ended up really confused and nervous as it came to creating a last choice. I read lots of horror stories about botched moves together with possessions stolen, lost, and destroyed, sub-contracting with unknown trucking businesses, and belligerent and violent drivers showing around load land to be transferred and bullying clients into forking over more cash than was agreed upon or anticipated. That chance was unacceptable to me especially since I was in the destination, along with my items were at a storage unit close to my 87-year-old father’s house. I didn’t need his or her buddies accosted with a dreadful driver and team. I also did not need any surprises with all the price of my movement.

My family had a very joyful encounter with Mayflower Movers once I was 8 years old. Bearing that in mind I decided to check together. In my very first contact with the agent delegated to me I had been set at ease. She explained to me that United Van Lines had bought Mayflower prior to the millennium. She also told me that it was strictly contrary to their coverage to sub-contract moves and that they weren’t moving”brokers.” They were approved representatives of United/Mayflower Movers and might constantly use those trucks and their own people to maneuver possessions for clients.

She subsequently settled my final concern by telling me that she would personally visit my storage device to perform a visual inventory and then determine a”binding” price for my transfer…no openings. I supplied her with my very best recollection of this stock that I hadn’t seen for at least a year, so that she would give me a quote based on this to determine if I wished to have her really visit there to perform a precise inventory and then cost my move. The quote was okay, and she traveled several miles and invested a great deal of time moving there to meet Daddy’s buddy and accomplish this.

The cost that she came up with was more compared to quotes I obtained from the other firms I researched. But, theirs were just quotes based on which I could remember that I had in there, and they weren’t ready to invest some time doing a visual stock. Mayflower’s cost also contained full insurance to secure my things from damage or loss instead of simply the fundamental liability which only pays a couple of pennies per pound of anything is damaged or lost and not the real value of the merchandise. My agent didn’t in any time pressure me into using their support, however she did warning me that if I picked somebody else, I shouldn’t ever pick somebody who’d call for advance payment or maybe a deposit before choosing up my shipment. At the stage I had assurance that their support was worth the excess price without stressing that unknown prices would be tacked on after. My card wasn’t billed until my items had been packed up and also on the manner.

The crews discharged on the two ends were fantastic individuals. The truck used was a United Van Lines truck. The team that picked up my dispatch at Virginia made cautious notations about the status of what they packaged up. An inventory sheet has been used with every thing being assigned a number. When the 2nd team came with my items in Kentucky I had been given the stock sheet to check off things as they unloaded and carefully stacked and organized everything for me from your unit here. They split out things that I asked for, and what came in what seems to be the exact same state it left Virginia. I’ve been told from the manager who took over my transfer after my first rep got me squared away using all the stock and cost that I have 9 months from the date of shipping to unpack and test all to be certain that there isn’t anything missing and that there isn’t any concealed damage. When there is, she’ll help me record a claim. The manager checked with me before the team arrived at Virginia, answered all questions that I sent to her by e-mail, and then called me again before the team came here and then again as soon as they left to make confident that everything had gone smoothly. I’m very well cared for this particular organization and won’t be afraid to use them again should I ever need to move later on.
