Armour Van Lines

Back in March 2017 I hired Armour Van Lines to move boxes and furniture of household items in Montreal to St. Philippe, N.B.. Throughout the transfer, three pieces of furniture had been ruined beyond repair, and also a single part of furniture has been even left out in the snow overnight! As soon as I contacted Rick, the Armour worker in control of the movement, he mailed me a claim form to complete. I promptly filled out this form, promising $600. For compensation, and attached photographs of these harms, as he asked. Subsequently, each time that I contacted him, he promised me that he had awarded the shape and photographs to the claims section, however they never return to me personally (I have photographs, and supplied them, of all of the damages, but there’s only room on this website for two photographs ). After a few tries at getting this problem resolved over a span of eight weeks after I contacted the Better Business Bureau. They also made many efforts to speak to the moving business, but were not able to receive a reaction from them. I wouldn’t recommend this corporation.

I had good experience with Armour Van Lines. We proceeded in SF, USA into GTA, Ontario. Overall it was excellent experience and they reacted to each and each calls / mails immediately. Initially I had several hiccups with dispatch staff, but that didn’t bother me much as the individual with whom I had been coordinating at Armour Van Lines ( Rick) be certain to help keep me posted with all the progress delivery and update program. I’d certainly suggest them.

Don’t recommend these folks….more so stay out! Estimates provided kept altering mentioning mistakes made. When guys eventually came to pick up things they hurried thru labelling the boxes and if contested assured that they do so all of the time and could be no issues. When items came stickers were missing boxes off and many others had multiple decals on a single box, along with the numbered list wasn’t recorded correctly so couldn’t fit boxes into itemized list. Additionally discounted boxes indicated”this end up” and only put in truck as suitable to them.
Luckily, had weighed down load before pickup as their supported weight was 800 pounds higher! Said they’d reweigh and did adjust to my weight with no apology. Tried to overcharge on storage charge from speed quoted (luckily had e-mails to substantiate everything) stating”oh that was a special on at the time”. Then came back again insisting on extra storage month fee despite truth they weren’t able to ship goods when asked – their justification was truck not accessible so I needed to cover and wouldn’t pro-rate to no of real times but needed to pay the entire month. Men wanted to deliver dispatch at 10:30 pm at night – needed to insistently deny as new acquaintances would despise me.
Every time obtained email confirming final billing because of arrival of dispatch there was a suitable calculation mistake that I had to keep adjusting. Subsequently on delivery, charging supplied didn’t fit agreed upon closing because so calls needed to be produced.
Luckily, we were comprehensive packers so no harm to these items.
The main point is that they are constantly trying in unscrupulous ways to catch more money from you than agreed upon, and if contested say they made a mistake. Have done two long distance moves and in both instances this has occurred. Appears movers are unscrupulous. Avoid all of this and go everywhere.

Everything was good until my boxes were sent and 4 boxes were lost. Rather than taking care of the immediately and locating them I had been told”Are you sure that 4 boxes are overlooking? We do not have the identical count. As you also noted some stickers dropped off however the items came” And”Also have you ever opened everything already and checked everything?” . I’d taken pictures of all and counted every box and that I understood precisely what had been missing.

6 weeks after they have still done nothing to locate my lost possessions and have provided me $75 in insurance for more than $2000 worth of products in addition to priceless photographs and memorabilia. They do not stay in touch with mepersonally, I need to keep asking them for the upgrade. Terrible customer support once something went wrong. They also banged up my bike and furniture. They will not deliver your belongings till you cover so basically when you’ve paid there isn’t anything you can do.

They’ve lost my photos and private artwork and they do not appear to care to do anything about it.

Please don’t use this business, there are lots of different testimonials very similar to mine, it’s terrible that they accept such small regard for people’s possessions without a responsibility for their activities.

In case you’ve been in this scenario with Armour vanlines please file a complaint with the BBB and stop others from going through everything you’ve got!

It might take me an hour to compose everything went wrong for this movement, but here are a few highlights:
– im 100% certain they inflated the weight calculation. I have moved cross country before and there is no way my burden was what they stated.
– many things busted, movers revealed no maintenance. Boxes clearly marked”up” on one side came sideways, upside down, etc..
– communicating between armour as well as the firms they contracted out the work to was completely abysmal. 1 cluttered headache after another.
– the worst part is that they just don’t care if you are not happy. They’ve your things, and they then have your cash, so you are powerless.

never again!

I needed to pass on short note from Edmonton, Alberta, to Vancouver BC. I made the grave error of working with these clowns for your transfer.

From the beginning, things went wrong. From failing to even ask my name, to needing to beg to get a statement, to getting the movement shoot 14 days. It is a 12 hour drive!

Their customer support is really a joke, and because we’re just now getting out things now, I would like to even guess how much harm they’ve done.

DO NOT USE!!

BAIT and SWITCH Pricing. Broke and Scratched EVERYTHING.

Quoted $649. Charged around $3,900 to proceed 2bd apt 3km. Won’t offer weight paperwork cost relies on.

The angry guys unloading the van actually THREW my possessions down the staircase.

Do NOT seek the services of this provider. Fireman movers price the exact same and care about their clients.

My experience using Armour Van Lines was a nightmare.
I asked them to get a quotation and they offered me on moving a four bedroom home. I informed them that wasn’t exactly what I desired. I wanted a cost on transferring 300-400lbs. Of my brothers furniture.They lent me $450 that was there minimal on 500 pounds.
This was nice and that I gave them a 150. Residue that they wanted.They turned up using 3-4 guys to proceed 300-400 lbs.After they’d our products, they stated there was a minimal of 2000lbs. And was charging me $1200. I paid $1000 because I had no option.
I’m performing this review so folks will understand that I have ripped off by Armour Van Lines.

Armour Van Lines is a outstanding moving firm with specialist support. They transferred my stuff (products and automobile ) within 3 months out of Calgary to Montreal in a competitive prices (pupils can consider their relocation ) and slight harm. Their movers are punctual and didn’t take too much time to pack our products and load them on their trucks.

While my movement was in advance, I had been always in contact with the general supervisor – Lily Waltz and she never hesitated to reply my inquiries in strange hours.

Finally, I enjoyed Armour Van Lines the most since they rescued my scenario at under 24 hours. I reserved my move initially with Great Canadian Van Lines (a BC based firm ). Their movers were late and didn’t arrive in time. In addition, the business management didn’t send me any letter of apology. Furthermore, they are much more costly in comparison to Armour Van Lines. Thus, please be cautious until you plan your relocation with GCVL ( I’ve printed another review describing my experience with GCVL).

My family recently moved from Ottawa to Calgary and we hired Armour Van Lines as our moving business and we could not have been more satisfied with the support we received! The customer service was outstanding throughout the whole transfer, they were rather professional and straightforward. Everything we had been promised from the beginning we obtained, and all of our products were picked up and delivered on time with hardly any difficulties. Our rep was really responsive and created the strain of the move a lot easier to bear knowing that somebody was always there to take our calls and respond to our own concerns. In addition to that the guys who did the shipping proved quite quickly and could not have been more demanding! We certainly chose the very best companion for our relocation, such a fantastic experience!
