My spouse and I utilized Americas Moving Service to get a 1BR transfer from Boston to Pittsburgh in mid June of the year.  They had outstanding testimonials online from many sources.  Initially I had been impressed by his professionalism and was really happy that though they were more costly that many other firms, their evaluations were worthwhile because I actually wanted to get a hassle free transfer so that I was fine paying the cost.  This sadly had been a miscalculation on my part. Since most large businesses, they contract out to other businesses. My contract moved into Old BayMeadows Moving & Storage.  Then everything went really wrong.  The driver appeared unsure whether he would make it into Boston using a 18 wheeler truck and asked us to get instructions and asked us to inform him if he could create it with his truck.  I really had brought up this problem to the most important company earlier, that Boston wasn’t so great for 18 wheelers and they’d promised me that they were 99.9% certain I’d find a straight truck since they”virtually never” ship an 18 wheeler into NY and Boston.  The driver of the 18 wheeler had not heard that.  To make a long story short, the dispatcher for your builder business was quite tough to achieve, never answered his cell mobile phone.  They arrived a day late for pickup and never called me personally.  The most important company failed nevertheless. In addition they forgot to inform me that shipping was about to be too late. I discovered as as everything else had gone wrong, I named the driver to inspect the day earlier and he informed me.  So I invested a great deal of time together with Howard, the owner seemingly of Americas Transferring Storage that, at his own right, did invest a whole lot of time on your telephone together, but kept reassuring me that all will be OK. However he needed to grapple continuously to get things going.  The shipping has been a hassle also.  The driver got stuck again somewhere and called to us to assist him???  He arrived alone and did not have assistance there. He then”hired” some aid close to our home which ended in a debate before our home before the landlady.  I was really horrified.  I only wanted to receive our things from the truck. Finally everything did come from excellent condition along with also the driver and helpers were all very nice and hardworking in the long run.  However from the managing of AMS in addition to Old Bay Meadow’s business, I’m very disappointed and even ended up spending more due to the underestimation of burden. I didn’t claim because I had been so exhausted but I never obtained a fat ticket in the truck weigh station and do not think them very frankly.  To cover that far, it had been a hassle and also stressful from day one.  I might have easily gone with a less expensive company and still had the aggravation. I truly needed this to go well because I’m moving again in a year and wished to utilize the identical firm but I am not and that I strongly suggest NOT recommend this provider.  I also have advised the BBB with whom they’re rated. I understood 4 times before the movers coming how low he anticipated, and requested him to recalculate based on the precise cubic footage of the things (I actually went about and calculated it).  He said do not be concerned about it, it’d be OK.  The movers (a third party) showed up with a truck which was too small since they still had the first quote, Marquis never passed on the upgraded quote to them.

America’s moving providers wouldn’t take some of the attribute and though they said they had been helping to negotiate delivery, which has been false.  Ashleigh Alston only called occasionally to find out what was occurring, but didn’t provide any alternatives to receive our things from this hostage situation that we had been in.  Ashleigh purred reassuring words to us daily, told us she would help us out with our final invoice, but then when it came down to the invoice upon delivery Ashleigh was from this film and refused to talk with us.  To be able to receive our things from their moving truck and to our home once and for us, we paid the whole bill and no one will provide any type of refund to your unrealistic delays and hardships that they have caused.

This really is a horrible company to utilize and I caution everyone to stay far far away from them.

BEWARE!!!!!   Don’t use this Organization.   They deal with other businesses and don’t own trucks themselves.   We discovered the hard way.   We moved out of New Orleans into Myrtle Beach and 12 hours prior to our truck was to arrive, and they needed to say that the truck created a pickup in Houston ahead of our scheduled pickup and turned out FULL, so Couldn’t pick up our belongings.   They made no effort to attempt booking another truck.   Long story short, we were SOL and needed to rent two Uhauls to proceed 14 hours off with a two Year-old.   The Entire encounter had been a night mare.   DO NOT use this business.   You’ll Be sorry…

CLAIM: $160 DAMAGE: $2,000—————– After I first signed up with America’s Transferring it had been due to the outstanding user testimonials and customer service was excellent over the telephone. I’m here writing later to discuss my COMPLETE dissatisfaction with the managing by America’s Transferring hired subcontractor”Storage Transit”.   The movers arrived from Georgia and so were 6 hours late. Our pickup was just one of many stops. Nothing devoted concerning it.  Their truck was huge and also cut a power line moving in the future. This team was created of a dad and his teenaged sons. Hardly professionals to anticipate managing heavy precious furniture with care.   After everything was at the vehicle, he clarified he’d probably be that the individual driving to the destination. ANTS!! , yes ANTS!! , coated and sprinkled over several boxes with no thought or reason.   The claims representative failed serious attention with our items. Repeatedly I asked for an account to be produced with this episode. 3 days, on 3 kinds I needed to offer equal information.   Our insurance has been $.30/pound irrespective of value. Initially we analyzed the greater package.  It had been $.60/pound Irrespective of value.   Words cannot redeem the quantity of harm and frustration surrounding the adventure. I’d known as America Moving Services to get a transfer from Richmond, VA to NYC. The sales man Michael Martin took my advice and sent me a contract. Deposit was compensated. First off please see the contract using a fine tooth comb. The slide in what they can to protect themselves. My nightmare started the day I was told that they were scheduled ahead. I got a call from CEH and stated that they couldn’t come on the scheduled day because their truck was broken up using a mechanical issue. Jacobi stated that they would come the following day. The following day we had been anticipating a hurricane to strike VA.. I phoned America Moving Company. I talked back to Micael Martin and that he stated he’d telephone CEH and will discover what happening. He phoned me back and stated that the truck had a flat and it still may appear the day prior to the storm. I requested to talk to somebody accountable. I explained my situation that I needed to receive my home loaded ahead of the hurricane. I advised him that I’d renters moving in to my home on Saturday. He asked me,”why do you do this”? . My reply was because I had been told that they could come on Friday, therefore it logically made feel that they’d have shown up on Friday. Until I stated something which nobody has even apologized. So my question was is it a level or a mechanical issue? Later that afternoon no truck but I did receive a call from America Moving Service, truck could come on Saturday at the center of a hurricane I requested. The motorist calls me the next morning and said he would be in Richmond in two or three hours, nicely the storm was upon us and I said if they could assure that nothing could get wet then come up on, well they couldn’t do that. CEH stated they’d re-schedule on Monday. They showed up in a rented truck and once I asked the driver where their truck was that he stated it had upkeep. Now logically when the truck has been broken down on Friday would not you believe that they could have down their regular upkeep afterward? They came into my home free of dolly. 60 boxes, furniture without a dolly. I knew I had been in for a lengthy load. 6 hours after they finally ended. To make a somewhat briefer, they showed up in NYC a couple of days later along with the boxes were in horrible condition. Some were still wet, as it came time to reconstruct my bed that they did not even have any tools together. I wound up placing the bed together myself the following moment. They broke many things including expense antique furniture. How can America Moving Broker utilize a business that’s a fly by night business. Take my adice, should you hear the title CEH or America Moving Service, then RUN and do not give them you hard earned money.

This is my experience others may disagree but please see It Might Be helpful.   I’ve moved long distances previously but I was constantly the grunt along with the driver.   This is my first experience with a moving company.   I travelled for about a week (not enough time as you may believe ) attempting to find the right moving company to move my family from PA into Utah.   This is what I might like to refer to as a”shotgun move”.   I had 2 months to organize locating a home and getting my possessions packed and prepared to be proceed.   My loved ones and I were creating the drive ourselves to reduce costs a bit more. I did my research on each firm that delivered a quotation or called and also Checked there announcements”We are endorsed by the Better Business Bureau”  LOL.   NOT.   I’d say over 3/4 for the firms that anticipated me a quotation were less they stated they had been.   Do your research after obtaining a quote from a Corporation.   I Eventually decided On Americas Moving Services since Branton Rhett promised me that all was well and I could trust him. We all discussed was accurate because I researched exactly what he stated about his firm.   Now for the other hand.   The Quote you receive isn’t what You’re Going to Wind up with.   Well unless you Understand Just How much your belongings weigh or the Specific cubic footage then perhaps the quotation will likely be accurate.   Mine doubled. Also Be Ready to wait a couple weeks to your possessions.   They could appear ancient mine did but I chose to phone to determine where my stuff was.   Yes Americas Moving Services can be an excellent”Broker”  since they have excellent communications skills.   That is all I think they are since I never saw one Shirt about the movers who showed up with the”AMS”  emblem nor did the truck that delivered.   I’ll the admit that the gentleman that revealed because of my pickup were fine, packed very nicely.   I’ve drawn out this enough so to the Significant point.   I did not possess AMS actually pickup or drop off, so I think that someone bid in my move and that is how this all work.   Basically in the Event That You package your belongings anticipate them to be broken upon delivery, even if You’ve Got the movers pack anticipate more fees.   From now it was all done and said I had been $6400 to the move and today I Must replace my dishes since I packaged them so there not insured under the insurance.   I’m outside an additional 1000 at the end due to some broken things.   The movers Aren’t delicate with any things even if It’s marked FRAGILE.   They’re there to perform a job and make money.   Oh and also have Money on you that they all need more of your cash.   Gratuity my a$$

THIS WAS A MOVE FROM HELL. . I hired AMSA to package and move me out of Alabama to Ca. They subcontracted to another firm”ON TIME MOVING”. Lets see if I will relay the series of events. They came late at night so that they were advised to return next day, which they did at 11:00 (late start). Ok now they’re within my home packaging. (I’m already in Ca, therefore I’ve a beloved friend overseeing this surgery ). Now they receive a telephone call saying they need to depart and move to Kentucky to pick up another load (rather than completing my transfer ), from there they will visit Chicago and away load then knock onto a different truck. What I discovered when my possessions arrived ( I never received a list of items that has been shipped/packed). So while unpacking I discovered things simply thrown into boxes (without padding) ( I took lots of pictures to back up my claim). Except for my tupperware which has been packaged very well. Many items/boxes dropped, MANY items ruined. In my view it ought to be America’s Moving Services which make this great, they state”NO WAY Services were left”. This Business is only out for the almighty buck and to hell with everybody else..DO NOT USE OR RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. I am so sorry I did. . OH! They offered to go get the rest of my items to get a fee..WHAT A [EDIT] JOKE. . ps. . Additionally, I posted in their Face Book site..they deleted it. This film is only 1 of many that I have of the dreadful move.

I am a teacher and that I applied for a move in South Carolina to be closer to my loved ones. I phoned and got a quotation on the telephone with Marquis who had been so friendly and nice. Was not pushy in any way, actually, he walked me through assessing the Better Business Bureau and also a fantastic website www.protectyourmove.gov. This website literally permits you to explore any moving business to find out whether they’re in fact licensed & registered with USDOT, their present insurance plan, and what number of DOT complaints are filed against them annually. Pretty fair of him to reveal that. I contracted Americas Movers on Jan. 10, 2012 for its transfer in Hornell, N.Y into Medical Lake Wa. They responded on short note, as my very first contractor cancelled less than two wks. Before the move program. The pickup window was involving 1-14-2012 and 1-19-2012.
They picked up the movement on 1-15-2012 and delivered in Wa. 5 days afterwards.
Everything went smoothly without any damaged products. My first contact with Americas Movers was Saul and followup with Josh.
They’re both very profesional and responsive.

Thank you America’s Moving Services!  The movement went incredibly easily and that was a result of the outstanding hard work and professionalism of Ian and his son Ty. They worked hard nonstop regardless of the humidity and heat and politely declined our insistence that they require a rest. They were considerate, flexible, and above all they took extreme caution of our possessions. I have transferred a dozen times within the past ten years because of a career with the Navy and Ian and Ty the best movers I’ve ever taken care of by a broad margin. I’ll happily recommend their services.

In the very first telephone call, we had been treated with the utmost courtesy and respect. Immediately after I had talked with client service, I’d my quotation in my emailaddress. We’d questions and have been attempting to choose whether or not to buy insurance. I predicted back several occasions with inquiries and everytime my telephone was answered right off and that I had been put in contact a broker. The men also made it a point to notify me of this”fine print” of those contracts to make certain we know any and all fees.
