I had been going the equivalent of a 1 bedroom flat from Philly to Chicago. The initial quote was over the telephone based on truck distance. They didn’t establish that they outsource the transfer between three distinct sellers. After the (non invasive ) truck came to pick up the material 6+ hours late, they had been unprofessional/rude and after packaging said that the price was actually going to become another $200. The material was already on the vehicle so that there was not much of an alternative. We paid in money. The first sales man, Michael, said it might take 5-7 days to provide. Fourteen days and numerous calls which weren’t responded to afterwards, I got a random call from a different third party seller telling me that my items would be sent to the next morning (it had been the day ). I moved into a elevator construction in which you have to book an elevator. Fortunately, the following day was not already reserved (they cancelled) so that I could have them transfer the things at last minute. When they came (at a non-commercial truck), they REFUSED to park at the rear loading area in which the construction supervisor told them to proceed and insisted on unloading at the front. Then told me that they had another $150 since they needed to walk over 75ft (since they parked in the incorrect place!) And would not unload before I paid the cash in money! When they eventually did unload, I discovered that the most costly thing in the transfer (a $1500 oriental carpet ) wasn’t part of the shipping. It had been marked on the newspaper as being packaged. The seller explained he’s asked in the centre that he picked up it because he”also detected that I was short one bit” but they informed him that the extra rug was rolled involving the other carpet (NOT authentic and you would know that in case you’ve ever transferred earlier ). He assessed the truck and allow me to assess the truck to determine if the carpet was there–no where available! He said he would just get it marked and tagged as lost so that he did. I’ve tried unsuccessfully for months to find a reaction about the missing carpet. If Christine/Christina does bother to phone back, she said I can submit the promise but it’s likely not worthwhile because I will only get the price of the carpet weight not the total cost of the carpet itself. I am 100% convince that they STOLE that rug understanding full well it had been pricey. I’ll also say that a had multiple meals broken. This firm is very unprofessional and rude, unresponsive, thieves and also a waste of money and time!
I actually would beg you to utilize ANY OTHER moving business or merely move yourself when possible. Moving is tough enough with no crappy moving business stealing and breaking up your items.

HIGHLY NOT Suggested. The business is currently SCAMMERS & LOOTERS. The Revenue guy Jack gave quite low quote for transferring all House transport material from NJ To Texas (Dallas). The men came 5 hours late on the Scheduled day. On arrival whoever came was really very impolite. He loaded half of the things from the vehicle & advised for staying items we might need to pay twice the amount from Initial estimation. After two hours of very pain full conversation we must supply up & pay the cost (Looters). We were assured that our products will depart NJ of 29th June & will hit Dallas on 5th July. We attained Drove into Dallas & Reached on 3rd July. However the Goods never abandoned NJ until 5th July. We had been residing in our own home for 3 months since the Great arrived 3 months after then on the guaranteed date per week. On coming again we had been required additional cash. We didn’t had option other then paying additional cash for getting our products. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF & SALES PEOPLE. PLEASE DO NOT FALL IN THE TRAP. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Picked up everything that I have on dawn of Wednesday, Oct. 30. Was promised that it was a same-day delivery (that I paid for) for day Wednesday, Oct 30. Things already on the vehicle once they came. Large yellowish box truck without a writing on either side. “Movers” transferred everything onto truck except mattress and then asked more cash. Helpless at the point with all of my items on automobile, I had to pay additional. Highway robbery.

It’s Sunday, November 3, along with the truck STILL hasn’t revealed at shipping place, despite persistent complaints and calls and needs to find the truck. Paid countless costs for resort, toiletries and shoes and clothes for work. Drivers cannot be attained despite consistent calls and texts.

This provider is a whole rip off. They offered a little price then multiply it. They showed up with a truck nearly complete. Along with two movers. Was advised that they place an advertisement on Craigslist to secure more assistance to move our belongings. I phoned and complained about complete strangers not connected with the provider only displaying randomly. At about 8pm once they proceeded somethings about on the vehicle to attempt and match the furniture on,they began moving. They did not end until about 3am. Where they had been presumed to be in the home at 10 am the morning. They ruined my hardwood floors by dragging furniture across it and knocked a hole from the wall. Then due to the distance I had been advised that they might need to earn another trip which subsequently doubled the price tag. The next day that they showed up to receive the previous 15 things. Which might have fit on the first truck when it had been packaged properly. We asked for evidence of just how much space has been utilized and burden of our items just. None has been provided. When we talked to the proprietor Alex he had been really rude and insulting to my spouse. Then said he did not wish to perform the movement any more when they have been already gone together with our items. We chose to request a weight and dimensions of how much distance has been used it was not supplied. He then explained that we did not cover him on pick up. Fortunately we compensated by money order. Then we couldn’t find a quote shipping date. And eventually the day until they said they could send by 10 am the following morning but they showed up at 7pm the night. And stated they had been told we needed to cover another 5500 bucks. After going back and forth he said we still owe 3600 bucks. We asked for evidence of of the weight and dimensions and was advised that when we needed our stuff we all needed to pay the cash first. They just had two movers again and among them had been hurt. Then some odd fellows showed up and told my spouse that they were reacting to an advertisement on Craigslist. She requested them to leave and they denied. This Alex man told the movers which they were planning to move our belongings anyway whether we enjoyed it or not. She needed to call the authorities to make them leave. 90 percent of those things was crushed and opened. Furniture has been broken and ruined. They fell our drier and shattered the glass doorway. A number of the furniture got busted while they have been carrying it off the vehicle. They left a few in the rain. Many boxes were left at the border of the vehicle while it had been raining and got soaked. The men dropping off were more politer than the very first team. They ended around 1:30’m unloading. I paid $1400 ( since I’ve already paid $200 beforehand ). Additionally, I attempted to call Chris, moved to VM, rather than ever returned my phone. Eventually they sent my things after fourteen days. Meanwhile, I attempted to phone Chris a few times, but not reacted. I then played a hint. My wife phoned him up and asked to get a moving quote. When Chris returned back her phone, my wife set me to the conference phone. Once I began introducing myself into Chris, he hung up the telephone on me. Anyhow don’t feel these men. It costs me extra $600. My point is why would you need to stoop so low?

In my experience, I wouldn’t ever use them again. That is our story. We called to get a quote. They asked a comprehensive list of the things being transferred for truck distance allocation. We packaged all things as they asked. I.e. bubble wraped and disassemblied where time they supplied a price quote of $1100.00. Then we signed off the arrangement and provided the requested deposit. This seemed to be the best quotation and support provided for our relocation. We went forward and agreed to the transfer. When the movers showed up to load up the vehicle, that is when it all went south. They loaded the truck subsequently advised us that they needed to use specific packaging materials that took up more space than the agreed on quotation. We really had less substance to maneuver than we believed. At this time we were advised that the cost could rise to $2200.00. Upon agreeing to the movers that they predicted the workplace manager who decreased the cost to approximately $1900.00 and wouldn’t charge for the further packing. At this time we had no option but to accept this because we needed to execute our relocation. But wait, there’s more. The loaders then asked their”customery 18-20% trick” like you’re at a restaurant tipping your waiter. Are you kidding me??? Loading the truck a part of paying for your transfer. VERY INAPPROPRIATE! Again with no option at this stage we gave them $200.00 SIC! Always thought you paid the suggestion in the close of the meal dependent on the caliber of service. Hmm, not great. After the furniture finally arrived a day late since they seemingly don’t assert their trucks, It came on another carrier. The guys from Gulf Coast movers were exceptional and more worried about making our move a positive experience and not as concerned with American Professional Movers coverage of charging the client for moving furniture up more then 7 measures. Second story flats are normally 13 steps in the road level. Appears like price gouging to me. The gulf coast movers did it all. No issues. When they detected some assembly hardware lost, they got the work done and asked for nothing. Appears to me that Gulf Coast are a much better mover than American Guru.

The movers came punctually. They did a terrific job in general. They packed all of the furniture thoroughly and economically. They accommodated all of our orders as we hadn’t packed everything prior to their birth. All of the furniture and bundles were packaged and hauled in an expert manner with no damage.I highly recommend them, I made an error by not giving them sufficient time notice to if I was prepared for delivery within my new home in Tampa FL so needed to wait patiently for this, Make Certain you offer them at least 5-7 days notice so you do not have wait delivery or long

I contacted American Professional Movers because I had to return home to Chicago from nyc and I spoke to Michael Johnson that he had been really friendly and really helpful he clarified everyrhing to me in Detail about packaging and delivery period,whenever they got into my location I hadnt must pack everything so they packaged it for me personally it cost a bit extra but was still value it..the men worked really hard and made sure everything seemed right for me and if it came time to get shipping they had been a day early I was very pleased to hear that. . I would like to thank the men for being considerate and honest about everything. . I would certainly utilize American Professional Movers again the second time I go. .
