Don’t conduct business with this organization. They absolutely don’t care about their clients. Our possessions were picked up on July 24, 2018 in Virginia. Little did we know we wouldn’t see our possessions until August 1, 2018 in central IL. We discovered afterwards from the movers which the firm took our possessions to New Jersey in which it sat in storage all of that moment. I’ve had among the worst experiences of my entire life using American Eagle Moving. On the point that I wouldn’t want this kind of encounter upon my worst enemy. Now, I hope I will find all of my possessions in 1 bit but I am not holding my breath.

I scheduled a transfer in WA into IL and had to move fairly fast. I talked with a salesperson called Chris who had been super useful before the move. I phoned on November 15 to talk with the shipment supervisor, Derek, who said my stuff was at a warehouse in CA. Oh? This was not once mentioned ahead of the move. They said it must be here in 2-3 months (not that I had it or anything). Communication, customer support, and reliability are non existent with this corporation.

I wouldn’t give this company any celebrities but I needed to give it one star so as to compose this review. My first quote to transfer me in Maryland into Vermont was 4000. After I have them a deposit of 1400 I could not catch Zack Stevens around the telephone. He never returned my calls or emails. The movers showed up to pick up my belongings at 7:30p, the window had been for 3-5p, plus they did not finish packaging until 2am. After all of my stuff was at the vehicle, the driver informs me that my brand new equilibrium was 8652!! They’d all of my stuff and I’d given them 2700 by then. I didn’t get a copy of the stock and needed to shoot a photo with my mobile phone camera that the new arrangement. My stuff came July 5 and now I had been lacking so much material. The motorist called the company and informed me they’d be sending an additional truck with the remainder of my things in 3-4 days. The motorist did provide me a copy of the stock this moment. I waited 3-4 weeks, no bathroom. Called the organization and nobody knew about a different truck. They said I needed to submit a claim record of exactly what was lost. I picked this company because they gave me a quotation base on the weight of my shipment. They arrived to pick up my things and billed me to get cubic feet and packaging stuff when all was already packed. They packaged a glass and a box I had abandoned and they billed me and explained that I had to pay them now $512 over they anticipated for packaging materials. Except for the long review but it had been a lengthy, painstaking procedure for this firm. They’re a totally horrible moving firm. They gave me an estimate of $2400 just to increase it $600 if they came saying I had been’misquoted’. When I booked I had been told that they do not use any external drivers and it is all business associated. This child laughed when I told him that and explained they use only external motorists. Each of my boxes has been ruined and ripped and thrown about. This provider isn’t simply a rip off price shrewd however they scam you through the whole method to squeak a growing number of cash from you.

The arrangement was supposed to cover a percentage up front along with the rest on delivery. I consented and signed it. I was subsequently told that the last payment would need to be in money. I inquired how they needed the deposit, check or charge card or money. They did not accept cards therefore a check could be OK. I handed them a test after loading and supported delivery with the team and dispatcher for Saturday in NC and they affirmed.
My daughter went down Friday to begin getting prepared. My wife and older daughter and I drove down at 5 am on Saturday to be there to help her unpack and install. We waited and waited. Each day, no truck, no calls, no returned messages. Same thing about Sunday, with everybody getting more angry. I sent my wife and my other kid back into Virginia Sunday night and I remained behind to learn what was happening. Monday morning at 9 am I attained customer support and they stated they’d find out what occurred and call me back straight away. At 12:30 I phoned again and realized that the mind of”Customer support” who advised me that my kid’s furniture was delivered to a storage center in New Jersey. The reason was said, (very matter of factly) that it had been”Standard procedure whilst waiting for the check to clear and she’d receive her furniture delivered next week after that happened. I was so angry, and I advised them that nobody had said that regular process. Perhaps not the motorist or the dispatcher. After additional discussion and debate that he threatened to hang up and have my telephone number obstructed and I would not ever find anything else. I was mad but not disrespectful, so this was simply wrong. It went downhill from that point.
My daughter, now all alone in NC had to sleep on the ground with nearly none of her furniture and clothes. I went after them with a vengence and got them to agree to split the test and pay them with the money when delivered in 4 times. There was an effort to bill her more cash for additional actions that I closed down and that there was harm, some comprehensive. It’s now 8 weeks later and we’re still awaiting the agreed payment for damages. They’ve been reported to the BBB and Department of Transportation (where they aren’t licensed). I call every other day without any results, no replies, no more nothing. DO NOT HIRE THESE CROOKS

This firm took my 35 percent deposit and then did not appear if they said they’d. I tried phoning over 20 times and they’d put me on hold and the lineup will disconnect. They aren’t interested in providing great customer support as soon as they get your cash. They never showed up once they stated they’d and that I had been made to employ a different firm in the last moment. Learn from my mistake, use an alternate organization.

I’ve gotten several calls from those in the business supplying contradicting statements demonstrating a lack of inner communication. The dispatcher is impolite and fast to attribute you when obviously he’s incompetent. I can not wait to see how they attempt and jack up the cost when and if they ever get here. I hired American Eagle Moving business for a tiny interstate movement. They eventually delivered my things on 9/7/18, saying I needed to pay whole cost of the rest of the balance and that I could complete a claim form to get a refund. This refund will be $30.00 per day that they were overdue, using a total of $750.00 owed to me personally. American Eagle movers will require 120 days to assess my claim and return to me. It’s now been beyond the 120 day mark and nobody will answer my requirements. I appeared and the DOT amount is currently inactive, due to not paying penalties!!

I was a quote which appeared very competitive initially. A week earlier on the superior call I’m unexpectedly told things are larger than anticipated. New $4500 destination fees added to quote. He’s demanding a check for thousands of dollars (total random number, not at the quotation ) and says that he will not do anything until my fiance writes out it. He writes him and check and places”american eagle movers” in the memo line and also the man freaks out and claims it needs to be left out to him personally. If my fiance questions this the men cries and says that he doesnt love being accused of slipping. He then storms out of the home and states”I must conquer a**.”

So after accepting the test, eventually, this aggressive man takes all of our things and sets it into his truck and then says that he will not be delivering it before the check clears. Its a sunday. We wait another 3 times until he calls saying he’ll send today but that I must get a different $1000 payment for him personally IN CASH or he’ll leave in which he is.

Additionally, I missed his phone at 830 am. He understands we are in the new location (without furniture) awaiting him. I phoned him back in 9 and he said he already started a new endeavor and wouldnt reach me until later.

He gives me the variety of a fresh driver. I still havent managed to phone and complain to customer support since I don’t have any idea where this man is, who he is, what he will do with all of possessions. . .this brand new driver says he’s on his way (in 330pm, its a 6 hour drive) and that he’ll call me when he’s shut. He calls when he’s about an hour away. I visit my new flat and wait patiently. 2 hours go by. I call his telephone, it is dead.

They eventually show around my flat at 10:45pm and I only have them load everything to the first floor living area since I’m concerned they will charge me a couple extra hundred bucks should they need to go upstairs! Though it was said before I got the quotation that there would be staircase!

Anyhow I am writing this because I’m furious and still can’t get anybody from the business on the telephone.

Thousands and tens of thousands of dollars to get the rudest, least useful, AGRESSIVE man I have talked to maintain my things captive for days on end whilst requiring increasing amounts of cash composed out to me or at money.

If I could give this business a 0 star I’d!!!!!! We transferred from Washington to South Dakota. Be warned that they tell you they don’t offer any occupation to some other corporation. They did exactly that and didn’t provide us a heads up. They quoted the $2,030 price and another firm didn’t adhere to that they needed $3,300. I wound up paying the next cost. We moved out of a 700sf apt. We proceeded on April 23rd it’s May 31st and we still do not have our things. I eventually got the amount to the firm that gets our stuff. It has not left Seattle Washington. We’re moving into June before Our material gets here. It may be here on the 5th. That is because American Eagle didn’t give them our brand new number and the firm that they parted out it didn’t keep the brand new number in their documents and continued to attempt and get ahold people via a old property line number. So Monday morning, movers appear and that is when we find out they won’t honor the promise made in writing and about the listed line which we’d get cash off our estimate for distance not needed. We must cooperate with it since they made me provide a non refundable 35% deposit up front to reserve our move. The movers were excellent and did a fantastic job. It was not their fault that the moving firm lied and broke their claims.
We were subsequently told our stuff will arrive at our new location in 10-14 days in the slightest. We did not really receive our things till 31 times had passed. 1. They gave us an unrealistically low estimate. We mentioned 25 boxes and a few furniture items. We ended up using 28 boxes and not as much furniture, yet when they loaded the truck, they stated it was twice the cost. And we needed to go out the following day so had no option but cover. 2. They stole our deposit. They asked to get a 35% deposit. We gave our routing and account number, and they created this false check that stated”Billing department.” Then if they picked up our material, the movers stated we did not cover a deposit. They guaranteed a refund, but after a month of telephone calls and lies about phoning us back, they stated they would not refund.
3. We shifted the shipping address. They affirmed with us 3 times. Then on the day that they were supposed to send, the movers were at the initial speech, 2 hours off. The workplace along with the movers DO NOT TALK to each other. The workplace only takes your money and dismisses you when they have your own stuff. They subcontract movers, these men are only random guys that lease trucks. Each truck we saw together was unmarked. They explained either I visit them for my things or they will place it in storage and I will need to manage this. So I had to drive two hours, get a Uhaul, and drive two hours backagain.
4. The movers said they could not bring the 18-wheeler in my area (which can be a lie, so I see that they come through all of the time, since the home is on a major street ). They said I needed to cover a $500 shuttle charge. I said no, I would rent a uhaul. Turns out, they’d only rented a uhaul to supply”shuttle service” for the following shipping (the uhaul individual explained, plus they had a uhaul truck together ). They literally lie to you and state that they can not take the truck in your area, they then bill you $500 to rent a uhaul for $40. It is all part of the strategy to rip off you.
5. Our boxes were completely smashed up. Matters were spilling from ripped boxes. We saw that the inside of the 18-wheeler. Matters were thrown haphazardly. Everybody’s boxes were torn apart. The movers kept asking us,”Is this yours?” And showing us other people’s stuff. They also lost a few of our shelves.
6. Once they get your cash and your belongings, they’ll dismiss you. They are open 9-5pm but take 11-1pm lunch. I believe they employ temps, because each week or 2 an expansion would quit working and I would be instructed to someone brand new. They won’t ever allow you to speak to management. They’ll state that the supervisor will call you when they are from a meeting and won’t ever call.
7. They Won’t GIVE YOU RECEIPTS OR ANY PAPERWORK. When they movers picked up our stuff, they had me sign all of this stuff, and before I knew it, they abandoned without leaving me duplicates! I called a lot of times asking for duplicates, and it was always,”Oh I am only a secretary, everybody’s at a meeting.” This meeting lasted a week. Then it is always,”They will call you back” They never do. They took all of our cash, stole our residue, took our items, and refused to provide us some paperwork. We did not get a backup before the movers delivered our items (to the incorrect address 2 hours off ).

Then the previous week before pickup, I called everyday to learn as soon as the movers were coming. The movers arrived on June 2. The movers were fine and educated me my transfer. They also advised me that if I move within the 550 cubic feet which has been quoted to me I would need to pay additional for the me. (1)… that was the very first time that I heard anything like that and I transferred crossed state lines because 2001. Wish I could have placed a score of zero. I had a binding moving contract to transfer my furniture. They shot my deposit of $910 and NEVER chose my furniture. Initially I got a justification about the truck being full and another truck asked, and then they simply blocked my calls completely. They refuse to refund my deposit since that’s what it states in the contract. I had been made to put my furniture in storage and then hire another inspector in the last moment. I believe testimonials of 5 star has to be self generated.

The business selected my materials on 6/26 with a single bedroom furniture along with 16 boxes of private stuff. I had been told they’ll send the material in 3-5 days. The quote is $1667, but the man who picked up insisted that I pay $2773. On July 9, I registered a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. On July 17, my daughter had been advised that the load was enroute and could probably be delivered by the close of the week. When it did not arrive, she had been told she must have it in another 3-4 times, however dispatch”did not understand” exactly where the truck had been. She had been told she’d find a call from the driver if he was 72 hours outside and again when he had been 24 hours outside. When I phoned the DOT criticism lineup on July 24, I had been told American Eagle Moving was”out of service” because July 12! I had been told that they might have sub-contracted the load to some other corporation. On July 25, NINE WEEKS AFTER PICK UP, she got a telephone from Mayflower Moving that they had been 10 minutes away! The truck wasn’t able to park just outside the condo construction, so that they needed an additional $900 to take the things to the condominium. It was cover or never get her things. In addition to needing to cover the previous 1/3 of a contract completely divided by American Eagle, I needed to pay $900 to make them unload. The entire experience was a nightmare.

In addition, he refused to allow me to come take ownership there and send it out. He stated the driver would call me once he’s on his way. He was rather offended that I proposed that they’re in breach. He explained Dept of Transportation says that they have 30 days (which will be Saturday) to find the things to me. I told him it’d be sent outside these 30 times and that he said there was nothing he can perform. Worst moving expertise of all time. Third load eventually delivered now, more than 2 months late. Our products were transferred cross country in 3 container trucks as opposed to a 53′ trailer and furniture has been badly packed leading to significant damage to timber bits, many things non repairable and need replacement. Tape placed right on nice art frames, smashed lamp sunglasses, publications thrown in addition to furniture in boxes etc.. Overall disregard for that which they have been moving and packaging. We moved through a broker and this was that the inspector delegated to us, we didn’t pick them. I don’t advise this inspector under some conditions.

In general, American Eagle Moving company didn’t offer moving services and therefore are asserting no matter a defaulted contract they’re eligible for my first 35 percent deposit of 1028. 65. My contract was initially created 1/20/18 using a pickup date since 3/30/18- 3/31/18. A string of unfortunate incidents occured beginning with my first assess deposit being processed by this company twice, on 1/30 and 2/1, totaling $2057.30. I initially started to dispute that additional $1028.65 withdrawal together with my lender, Exceed Financial, that implied I hit out into the movers original. After following up with American Eagle Moving, they admit this”error” and provided to charge my account or send me a test. I needed my $1028.65 returned back to me through check when possible. I can’t warn others sufficient to remain far away from the”business” who defraud you into thinking they’re a non- licensed broker moving firm (another lie).
