Alpha Moving and Storage

My spouse & I’ve moved 19 times in 15 decades, we understand the procedure. These men turned out to be filled with sh*t from the beginning. Do not expect an over the phone quote! Its Bullsh*t. Our very first quote starts out in below $2000., then it moved to just under $2300. (additional boxes) When they came on moving day it moved to $3400.
The rep that lent us, quoted/priced everything as little or did not list it whatsoever. They understand that once they appear on moving day, which you have planned & scheduled they got you, since 99 percent of us can not say get the h*ll out & find a different inspector. The rep & the supervisor told us we’d get our things the following day, two times high, nope. The motorist initially informs us around 12 times & that its moving to a storage container in Houston, the incorrect direction, we are moving to Florida. The supervisor says he is so sorry, scheduling difficulties, but that it will be 7 times or not. (exactly the Exact Same supervisor that the afternoon before told me that the Following Day, 2 shirts )
Then the insurance problem. The rep informs us that the cost included around $50,000 of replacement value insurance. A fantastic thing, right? It does not exist. Now we have moved a lot, remember, so I tell the man I want that in writing, so that he sends me an email, a company email saying that we do actually have this policy. On moving day they needed us to sign a waiver saying we had been rejecting/waiving any complete coverage insurance & accepting the 60 cents per pound policy. We said no. Why should we, we have in writing in the rep, their firm, that we’ve got complete coverage. NOPE. These SOB’s stated they’d unload the truck when we did not sign. We said we would signal but we will place”under duress”, NOPE. We either sign or our stuff has unloaded, no method to receive our things to our new residence, which goes to final a couple of days later. We signed, an attorney buddy said the letter/email could stand up in court & we HAD to receive our stuff into the new residence. The sole bright spot in this whole mind numbing, crock of all sh*t was that the driver of this truck. He was a good human being, unlike the remainder of the provider. He said he’d bring our things to Florida the following day & he did. He knew that we were being lied to, screwed, he felt our pain. He had to watch his step, he can work for all these individuals, but it was his phone. He was likely to bring our things into Houston after which he was going to get a rest.
We could not thank him enough.
Bottom line remain away from those SOB’s.
Use somebody who directs someone to your house & quotations you in person only! They’ll lie to you & state how true they’re & its Bullsh*t, its a lie. Make certain all promises are in writing, plain english, business letterheads, etc..
We thought we had been saving money & we did not. The stress we suffered aged me annually daily. They dropped the price that a $150.

The transfer took literally weeks more because when they did not get files I’d repeatedly faxed they just did not place my furniture onto the truck or phone me and notify me. They advised me particular things in earnings and then told me entirely different things in different sections and never had anybody call back. The movers were so dreadful. Was quoted 1 speed then was awarded double the cost. This was only a few furniture being transferred from my father in laws home to mine along with also my brother in laws. This wasn’t us shifting. They scraped my lovely hardwood flooring upstairs. The supervisors hid behind the secretary and seldom returned telephone calls. After all, many calls that they finally delivered my possessions in a uhual truck near to midnight and just discounted the cost $50.00. I had been lied to from start to end.   Whatever happened to honesty and ethics. This complany doesnt have some. My kids and I had been stuck in a different country without anything. I just packed enough items to continue until the date that they guaranteed me.  I needed to repurchase items I already had. Don’t use this organization.

We hired Alpha Moving and Storage to proceed to Dallas. Before the transfer I supplied the firm with a listing of what in our our bedroom home and they were presumed to pack, unpack and load everything for us and we had been repeatedly assured that our furniture could just fill half of their truck. In reality the answers I got while talking to them suggested that they didn’t care at least that they had been making our relocation way tougher than it had to be.  Nobody should ever hire this business to perform anything.

Worst moving encounter ever!Broke dining room table, shattered chest of drawers, drug mattress and box springs in the world. Tore off a part of ceiling whilst transferring things upstairs, left marks and scratches around walls. They state the claims department requires 90 days to process claims. Only long enough for your charge card fee to go through.   Proceed was inexpensive, roughly 550.00. Got the run around from the Organization. Don’t purchase additional moving insurance. Shame on me! Disputing charge with AMX and phoning BBB.

I recently moved on 7/21/2011 with Alpha Moving. I’m always reluctant with strangers to move my possessions but the sales man Ken assured me all would be well. He gave me a near accurate quote. My transfer ended up moving one hour over but that is because the lift was so slow… besides that the movers were very professional. I shall recommend this business completely.

First, DO NOT HIRE THESE MOVERS. On the phone they’ll offer you a”complete service” shifting encounter. You won’t get this.

Now I have hundreds of dollars in damage along with a busted bassinet that’s irreplaceable. And the business is doing next to nothing to compensate me.

The strain of my movement was indeed alleviated by this moving business, who I found to be quite professional, stand-up men. Everything went fairly smoothly. I contacted Alpha Moving and Storage a few weeks prior to my move to receive a quote. The quote was quite realistic nevertheless, it did alter! Quite disappointed , I picked up the telephone and began calling storage centers and truck leasing businesses. After a couple of calls, I discovered the tools that I needed for me to run my own transfer. Now, my spouse and I begin driving to pick up the car. Approximately 3 minutes into the driveway, at approximately 8:15 %, I got a call in the movers saying that they had been 20 minutes off. About halfway to the transfer, I had been told from the movers which they had been operating out of space onto the vehicle and would have to drop off my items in Alpha’s warehouse at which I consented to save my things for a single month. Since I reside in Collin County and Alpha’s storage can be found at Dallas, it might take about two or three hours to allow them to finish the exchange. Again frustrated, I contacted a nearby storage found by my home and organized my items to be saved there. Ever since I worked from state and had been thinking about flying back on Monday afternoon, I needed to alter my flight that was a $75.00. In general, I’d state that Alpha Moving and Storage is the most incompetent moving business in the full DFW area. First off, they whined about the workers being hurt.
