All The Way with Bill Vernay

Allow me to begin this by saying I’ve never once in my life written a post about a business I have been disappointed in earlier. But this experience was so negative that I believe I need to. I had been recommended to utilize Bill Vernay Moving & Storage established from Fort Meyers, FL with a mutual friend. I met with the owner, Rusty, who in the time looked like a nice, honest man. If just that ended up to be authentic. Throughout my move from FL to NJ, multiple things were dropped by the movers. Even sadder, a few of those irreplaceable things that supposed the world to me personally (i.e. old family photographs ). I tried to maintain a positive mindset under the logic of”things happen”. That is why before my transfer, I chose to pay additional for FULL COVERAGE insurance. Meaning if some one of my items were damaged or lost, I’d get the entire value of those. Coping with Rusty and his became incredibly bothersome. I just wished to have my own insurance claim filed and be reimbursed for that which I rightfully had contributed to me. Rusty kept putting off this and said I had to wait for 90 days or else he would need to pay out of pocket because he did not need to set the claim through his or her insurance. I patiently waited for two months before I no longer wanted to wait and only wanted to be carried out with this. I requested that he please process my claim, that he eventually verbally consented to do. Rusty told me I would have a test in about a week. Well, naturally that I never received payment. I called to follow up and was really pleasant and respectful. His office helper, Cindy, told me she would find the message to Rusty. Rusty never returned that call, nor some of the following calls and mails I left daily for more than a week. Frankly, my blood was boiling at this stage not just since I paid for insurance policy which has been a waste, but more due to how rudely I was being treated. Cindy practically educated me each time I called. I was amazed at how a person who initially pretended to be this fine, ended up being a slug. We aren’t talking a enormous maintain, mind you (about $700). I can’t stress how awful an experience I had using this business. The actual burn is I was so wonderful to the movers…I purchased them breakfast and tipped liberally on both the pickup and also the drop-off. Do yourself a favor, steer clear of Vernay Moving!
