Across Country Movers

I’m writing this review since I’ve finally given up attempting to solve any difficulties relating to this provider. I was trying to find a mover to haul my possessions from Washington State to Arizona in July 2019. The very first person I talked to, Adam, was quite gracious and very helpful so I opted to talk with him. A truck came on July 23 to package my property. I must have realized I was in for trouble if the 2 men they hired to assist the driver load the truck broke a sizable piece of glass onto a display cupboard. They were able to find the truck packed and I started driving to my new residence in AZ.. When the truck came in AZ, the exact same driver was there but just two brand new guys were hired to help him unload.

As they were unloading the truck, I discovered among these had my little hand truck in his hands and that I presumed that he was going to unload it. He did not. It vanished. As they got into the conclusion of my load, they tied up another man’s possessions and that I happened to grab them linking up an 8′ classic saw which belonged to mepersonally. Luckily, I watched them doing it and had them untie and unload the saw. It did not happen to me to try to see if some additional boxes belonging to me were also still in the vehicle, however they had been.

As I was unpacking boxes, I understood that many were missing, such as one which held numerous collectible books (such as a HS yearly that costs $100 to substitute ). I told them instantly that those items were lost. As I continued to unpack, I recognized a box holding household heirlooms which were over 100 years old had been overlooking. As I continued to unpack, I understood that many things that should have been at the storage unit out were missing.

I attempted to get Adam straight but was told that he was no longer working there. I delivered a list of things which were broken or lost to his email address and the other worker responded. I had been told that they were planning to send the data to the client support department accountable for compensation but I never heard back from them. I delivered a few additional mails, and eventually someone called John replied me and explained that he was going to be sure I had been compensated for the broken and missing products. I didn’t hear another word out of them before I threatened legal action if they did not pay me what they owed me (near $1,000 at the stage ). They eventually answered me and said they needed to deduct $500 in the quantity but they were planning to send me a check to the rest to clean up the issue. On October 2, I’d still not heard anything from them so I sent them the following email and requested where the test was. A terse, 1 line answer (unsigned) stated that they had been sending it the following Friday. It is now October 25 and I haven’t received anything from them.

In the last week, I sent them two emails requesting an upgrade in my claim. They did not respond both of them and so, here I sit, 3 weeks later I moved and they’ve refused to lift a finger to solve this claim. My next thing would be to examine them to the Better Business Bureau however, before I do so, I chose to write this review and warn others NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY. They will tell you anything for you to join together afterward will ditch you and refuse to take responsibility for the harm and losses that they caused. DON’T HIRE THEM!

Rude. Damaging. Fraudulent.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

Mishandled virtually every portion of this transfer.
Indefinitely maintained my possessions.
Tried to judge me to get more cash after ransoming within my home.
Broke prized heirlooms.
Despite paying quite somewhat longer for packaging, together with the guarantee of greater insurance discovered I were lied to and after having a month due to their complaints section was advised I would not be repaid.

This firm explained that the deposit I created ($200) was completely refundable once I made the reservation, then refused to refund the deposit Once I cancelled the transfer.   The quotation they delivered me was incorrect and full of mistakes. They said that a Normal 2 bedroom flat is between 3000-4000 Pounds and then lent me for 2000 Pounds.   They stated the Last cost was 855, however the quotation was actually for $1255.   Stay off…
