    Long-distance move from Iowa
Be Careful! We had a nightmare!

I really wish we knew and had done our homework. It cost us more money, damaged propety and frustration. Utilize Caution and do your own research! Check out BBB and see my remarks. Before this season, while residing in Iowa, I accepted a job in a different state. My spouse and I phoned a few companies, such as Allied, to get quotations from moving our possessions from Iowa to Arizona. To make this brief and to the point — we got a written quotation from the organization (using Brent Osborne) to make the transfer from Iowa to Arizona. (Unknown to us at the moment, we thought Brent to be formally with Allied Moving Company, not functioning as builder ) After reviewing the other quotes we’d, we made our choice to utilize Allied. Our choice was based on one reason just — we’d used Allied earlier previously.   We started packing our things. We immediately realized we didn’t need all of the things we had in our new house and sold many things such as a lawn mower, seat, snow blower, boxes of items and other posts. Knowing our new residence contained a fridge, we even sold our principal fridge and another fridge which was in our cellar. Our things dwindled down from if Brent initially came outside to appraise all our possessions and home. (so, our cost ought to have been less by weight)   The afternoon the packers demonstrated up to load the vehicle, there were episodes of things being broken and ruined while loading the vehicle.   (We’ve got a list) Several items were damaged so badly from the movers; they needed to be left behind.   While en route in Iowa to Arizona, Ace Transferring called to inform my spouse, that they had made a mistake. They had”underestimated” the number of things and”made a mistake”. Their error was to cost us more money!  My spouse was told we now owed more cash, totaling several tens of thousands of dollars more.   Thinking, this is nothing more than the mistake, I left a telephone call myself, convinced that this”error” will be cared for correctly. I called and seen right with Brent. I clarified to Brent not only the episode with the gain of payment, however, the harm and the criticism about the way our property was managed while loading the vehicle. Brent apologized for its packaging difficulties and was quite apparent that he would explore the purchase price growth, apologizing for the inconvenience. While on the telephone, Brent told me his clerk only brought him our folder and he’d review it and he’d call me back from the close of the day.  Confident that Brent was taking care of the matter, I proceeded on with my day — to not get a call or speak with Brent again. This day, I did not get a call from Brent, but instead I obtained an extremely casual as well as the point email saying we now owed around $3,000 more.  I about fell out of my seat Once I read this.   I instantly called Brent’s office number, and has been advised by his own clerk, Brenda, that Brent had been inaccessible.   My spouse and I agreed to pay more money so that we can get our land that was being held hostage. Had we not, you wouldn’t discharge our property to us. I tried to predict Brent three more times, every time Brent had been”inaccessible”.   Upon getting of our house, the guys who had been unloading our house (not with Ace) were quite lovely – worried about the packaging and condition of our house. Immediately after launching the vehicle, the direct guy summoned me over asking me to shoot an image of this opened truck saying that”It’s packed incorrect!” It was not hard at all to find out what he intended. I not only took photos, but also have video of this gentleman describing everything was wrong with how it was packaged.  The photographs themselves reveal the things badly positioned on top of one another. Something for a company, I’d be ashamed and embarrassed of. Throughout the afternoon of unpacking, these movers were very helpful, pointing out the amount of damaged property and showing us how things marked”Fragile” or”Breakable” were beneath heavy things, or in the base of the heap of things. In this afternoon, we took a couple photographs and videos of those packers unloading items which were damaged. I even have a movie in the end of the afternoon or the direct individual who said that:”Whoever loaded which truck did not understand exactly what they were doing. They did a very bad job….”   To continue further, it’s essential that you be mindful that:’d we understand it was really Ace Transferring that has been planning to load and transfer us rather than real Allied workers; we’d have completed our research. Unfortunately, our expertise and research came too late. But that is what we have so far uncovered.   The Better Business Bureau (BBB) reveals, Ace Moving & Storage Inc., not just having an”F” rating, but also the BBB also offers an Alert to your company. As a company owner and worker, I’d be ashamed and embarrassed to not just possess an”F”, but an alarm together with the BBB in my firm!! When you examine the complaints against Your Organization, It’s ironic that the complaints will be the Specific same problems We’ve confronted along with your company — requesting more money as Soon as You have our products and damaged goods.   Additionally notice on other consumer review internet sites such as Yelp, etc.. Upon those testimonials, you will find additional consumer complaints against Ace Moving to precisely the very same problems as listed with the BBB. We do have files, photographs, videos and what we are in need of, but it cost us lots of cash. We’ve contacted the BBB and are battling it together. However, they don’t clearly care – they have an F and an alarm to their own company!

Terrible company, terrible service, terrible follow up

[PLEASE NOTE: this movement hasn’t yet stopped in shipping because it’s in dispute. So this isn’t a review of this shipping service to my getting home.]
Absolutely dreadful experience that’s likely going to lawsuit. Wow, sure wish I read Rory’s review on Yelp and Eric’s here beforehand. Quite similar treatment for me, but far worse outcome. NO communication from anyone except salesman until my shocker email has been obtained. Salesman,” Brent Osborne gave me a formal quote on Allied Van Lines letterhead later we thoroughly went through what was in my transfer: On all odd items we moved to manufacturer sites for PRECISE WEIGHTS. The Official Allied Van Lines quotation was for $3,810.65. After my stuff had been filled on January 27th 2015, he vanished even after I emailed and called. The driver also, did not send stock as he guaranteed.  Then the shocker email from a Tina N that I have never heard of in my entire life,”Hi Mark, I have the complete to the transfer in the amount of $6072.71.   Have you been paying me through Visa or MasterCard…” This was after my things was enroute and at Kansas City. I composed, called a few times to Brent, Tina after getting this: NOTHING. Everybody disappeared. I on Feb 1st nevertheless have NOTHING in writing besides that Allied Van Lines quote of $3810.65. NO INVOICE, NO INVENTORY, NOTHING. Had a group of attorneys review my situation and advocated litigation that I am currently preparing for later performing some”preliminary work” signaled by my lawyer.

    Long-distance move from Iowa
Terrible company, terrible service, terrible follow up

Brent using Ace Transferring gave me a bonded quotation and they’re attempting to charge me nearly 20 percent over the quotation! Brent using Ace Transferring gave me an estimate for a complete movement including packing. He suggested it would probably be less especially because we eliminate a lot of things after the quotation. Reasons given for overages: 1) They needed to wait since they arrived first. Scheduled launch time was 1pm and they arrived at 10am, we didn’t even shut on our home before noon and that was well communicated and agreed upon by Brent during telephone calls from the weeks leading up to the transfer. This led to an”waiting fee.” 2) They attracted less men compared to quotation, so it required a whole lot more and consequently resulted in a greater price. They offered 5 men at 240 an hour, ended up with 3 men at $160 per hour. Neither of those problems are my fault and so the quoted quantity ought to endure. I advised the direct inspector I believed receiving and disposing of my test because approval that it had been paid in total (said in memo of test ). He agreed and they have since cashed my attention. He along with his group was also more than delighted to take my suggestion. The night of this movement that I called Brent, my touch with Ace, and explained everything in detail, for example I believed myself paid in total and might expect an excuse if which were not the situation. He dismissed my telephone call and my phone and I just obtained a delinquent invoice from his firm. He’s ongoing to ingore my telephone calls.

    Best Delivery Experience

I had been sent a refrigerator/freezer and that I was really pleasantly surprised with the pride Darius and Kevin took within their job.   They took their own time and have been quite careful to not harm the item or my Property.   When we discovered that the frige would not fit through the door that they problem solved and finally got the work done. A huge thank you for taking the opportunity to find the work done right!

    DO NOT USE ACE!

We purchased a 14 feet shuffleboard table.   It had been sent by the merchant to Ace Moving and Storage.   Jan in Ace was so rude and uncooperative.   After holding on our desk for a week, then she eventually contacted us to inform us that she had been attempting to get acceptance for 3 individuals to send the dining table since it weighs 517 pounds.   Are not you a moving business???   If this is that difficult to get a moving business???   Therefore, after many calls for her and then her altering the delivery period, our table has been eventually delivered 16 days later we had been assured it.   And guess what?   It had been delivered by two people, yes Two people.   To make it even more intriguing is that one was male and another feminine.   If You’re insisting that 3 individuals are needed and you also ship two and it’s a lady, That’s simply ridiculous.   In Terms of the 2 individuals who delivered the dining table, they were very pleasant and did a Fantastic job in getting the dining table right into my garage.   I Don’t Have Any complaints with the Individuals who really did the job, my gripe is using Jan..   I would also invite you to test out their BBB score – it is far less than leading.   She’s fortunate that there were two great Men and Women who sent the dining table.   If You’d like to Take Care of Somebody Who is rude and snippy using a Business that has bad ratings together with the BBB, then that is the moving business for you.   In case you’ve got a decision – I would strongly recommend somebody else. My recommendation to Jan would be to attend several client support courses.

    Performance

Movers weren’t ready for the job to be carried out.   They’d unprofessional and inexperienced staff move my property.   They disrespecfully treated both my spouse and mom in law and didn’t speak with them whatsoever.   They also ruined several things (Washer, scratched furniture and broken art function ).   This resulted from no experience managing the products.   I would not actually recommend this business in fact I Wouldn’t ADVISE GOING WITH THIS COMPANY EVEN IF IT COST YOU MORE MONEY!!!!
