Never use Univers-transit  they never removed my dispatch when departing Israel habits so it was a major mess and what’s really unforgivable they wouldn’t own up to their error.  This cost me more dollarw as I needed to have a review from the U.S. to ship to Israel customs. Bad folks poor service

Shai in Univers was all smiles when he pitched me on using their services. But it appears that I’m experiencing the specific same problem as Paul, another reviewer.
Paperwork with this shipment hasn’t yet been completed correctly (my speech not mentioned properly, files lost ) and today there’s a very long delay at customs around the united kingdom side that TNT are now looking into.
Meanwhile, Shai – (the assumed rep searching after my dispatch ) does not return calls (his cellular number no longer operates!!) .
I concur with Paul, avoid using this business.

I’ve sent my private belongings from Israel into East Europe, also got a Couple of quotes, from many businesses.   I picked Avi’s team both on cost but also depending on the private, friendly approach.He and his staff are incredibly polite, professional and efficient.  Avi took a part in the movement from begin to finish and that he immediately returned every phone call I made to him for answering all of my questions.  I am so glad I picked Universe Transit more than costly and not as private moving businesses.

The shipment took approximately a couple of month. A few of the boxes have been ruined and robbed. I’ve paid extra fees for just nothing at destination interface. The agents of Univers Transit accountable for Avi Ayash and Ruth Loredo rather than apologies are attempting to prevent responsibility. I didn’t receive any reimbursement for damaged, stolen things and ethical harm. More – Avi has known me a liar!!!
I am prepared to deliver the images of robbed and ruined boxes, any extra info. The boxes have been opened in existence of shipping team.
The worst experience ever.

We transferred from Israel into Spain. This is our 15th global moving so we’re very utilized to take care of relocation shipments.
It was our worst experience ever. The Russian packaging team had no expertise in packaging, they did not care whatsoever about our possessions. They business is barely supplying the boxes and a few excess newspaper, and nothing more. They pretended to prepare something like 200 boxes and package a 20 feet container in 3 hours. We also had robbed things (silver jewellery ) along with a box which inexplicably came completely empty. Despite paying an additional for your insurance, we’ve realized – too late, that it was all a fake and the firm itself was”insuring” the container, using a 250 usd involvement. Obviously we simply abandoned the concept of trying to get any money back to the damaged items or have them repaired.
If you would like to steer clear of problems and bad surprises, then simply move your way when viewing the title of the firm.

Packing and pickup team was thoughtful and worked quickly. Damages were minimum (broken glass on two paintings, gouged piano leg) all under the insurance allowance. But, unjustified charges added over $2000 past the initial quotation.

As contracted, a crane was used to move our mattress and couch from outside 5th floor flat into the truck under. The representative had taken photos of exactly how far it was on the floor, noted that posts would demand the crane, also said that Univers needed the proper crane. He given the cost for the crane at the written quotation we received. Nonetheless, we had been billed tens of thousands of dollars extra for the crane which was utilized because Univers maintained they had a larger crane.

We were also unexpectedly billed extra for the space from the ground floor into the container to which our products were loaded (roughly 25 meters). We just learned about this when shipped the invoice. The movers might have transferred the crane when completed and parked the container at its location, because they simply started to load the container following the crane was completed. This could have been the nearest thing for loading.

Ultimately, we had been required to cover additional port fees (detention & demurrage) of $287 and $356 since Univers failed to ship the local inspector at New York the cash owed to them from the date that the neighborhood inspector had scheduled to supply the merchandise to us. The neighborhood inspector scheduled delivery on a date that would have prevented the overdue payments. I estimate from the neighborhood mover:”I’ll need you to speak to your overseas broker Ruth asap, as we might need to cancel your shipping…. Your overseas broker has yet paid for this particular job and we need payment. Tomorrow is your last free day in the terminal. Beginning Wed detention/per diem charges will apply and will be implemented to you.”
The explanation given to us was that the proprietor of Univers was outside of the country. After paying all charges under protest, I corresponded with Univers, requesting reimbursement of these fees I incurred because of their overdue payment. After several exchanges where Univers denied that they were at fault, I’m now writing this review. Univers claimed that they weren’t accountable for the distress despite my supplying them together with my correspondence with the local inspector that expressly attributed the delays to Univers’ late payment. They also contested the info supplied to me from the local inspector that signaled that I’d have had no additional fees had the Univers payment came punctually and elimination from the vent happened when initially scheduled.

Allow me to end by stating that the neighborhood mover, Flatrate, was most cooperative, delivered the merchandise in a professional way, and kept me fully informed of progress.

Then after I sent images and stuffed each of the insurance types they had been rude and attempted to defraud me. For instance on the insurance policy packaging slip there have been three meals valued at $150 total. They had been faking the amount looked more like a 13 compared to a 3 and could just offer us $11 per broken dish! Who guaranteed a dish for $11?! Criminals. Entertaining away before it is too late
