    Long-distance move from New York
Dont Do it!!! They are NOT reliable!

This is probably the worse going experince of my life!! First off, I had been told on many unique occasions that somebody could be reaching out for me that the day prior to the move to validate the details, which never occurred! I needed to telephone to confirm specifics, and has been advised to anticipate moveres between 11 am and 1pm. I phoned back on the afternoon of my move since nobody called me, once I had been told that somebody would phone me and was again told that the movers could be ther involving 11-1, the period came and went and nobody showed up. After a few hours of waiting and contending with ALFRED on the telephone, they showed up in 5 pm.  I had been charged for 3 guys and only 2 showed up. See this is the way they earn their $$, they charge you for 3 guys, just 2 show up, it takes them longer to perform the transfer so needless to say the hourly fee goes up.  As soon as I asked the driver why they have been late that he clarified that they were reserved in work from Brooklyn into LI in 9 am. . I had been moving out of Yonkers, not certain who did the training but how did they anticipate a transfer in Brookly into LI to be finished in two hours. To make things worse, they fell my agency ond it deciphered around the corner.  I have been moving back and forth for their insurer for 6 months now and nothing whatsoever. Save yourself the aggravation and also look beyond this tragedy of moving business… You will likely be better off visiting park and paying for someone off the roads that will assist you proceed than coping with those bafoons!!! I so regret coping together, they need to be closed down and not permitted to handle the publice because of their lack of professionalism!

    Perfect job

Locate a great moving compani isn’t easy.My frend recomended  A to B van line and I was pleased to realize how great job they maded. The very first issue to determine is how much of the moving job you will be doing and how much will be dealt with by professional movers.  If your employer is paying for the move you may take it easy and see the expert movers perform almost all of the job.  If you are funding the transfer yourself, you may elect to do your own packing to spend less.  However, before you determine just how much to perform yourself, phone some moving companies to get quotes for what they charge for various levels of service.  They arrived on time and packaging in boxes really carefully.I transferred from brooklyn into LI.I recomendid this moving business all of my frends.prise was 120 for a single hour adn they gave me 20 dollar discount.

    Deposit

So I had been planning a transfer in September. They gave me a quotation rather than told me when I put a deposit down its not refundable. I put down cash and come back to find out I can not move because my mom in law is ill! I ask for my deposit back and they behave very childish. They won’t repay me yet and they did not do anything for me personally. They had the worst customer service I’ve ever seen in my entire life. I’ve been in customer service over ten decades. They’re so immature and unprofessional. Don’t use this provider ever.

    Three Weeks Late!

If you’re reading this reveiw, also read the testimonials for”Quality Van Lines.” It’s exactly the identical firm but they reincorporated because of numerous negative reviews. I moved from NY to GA and also this moving company destroyed my life for per month. After having a deposit to program the transfer, the movers came and needed money simply to pack my items. They informed me that my possessions would be sent seven days from pickup in my new home in Georgia. But, they didn’t come till 27 days later pickup. They repeatedly lied on the telephone on where my stuff was, even as it might be sent, and why it was overdue. One Thursday as it was just 11 days later pickup they informed me that my stuff was first at South Carolina and could be sent the following day. That never occurred and after I called back on Monday I advised me it’d leave New York at the end of the week. Their customer support didn’t respond to a single email (I have to have delivered at least eight ). They also display phone calls as soon as they have your things and eventually become actually impossible to achieve. I had been in a vacant house with no strings, no mattress, no clothing, no pots or utensils, without a television for fourteen days. Sure, they’re less expensive than the competition. Probably since they do not have any abilities or knowhow within their very own field of business.

    Demanded Tip, Unprofessional, Go elsewhere

My mom used A to B Van Lines because of her movement last weekend in New Jersey into New York.   Mother is not overly”tech savvy” so that she requested me to write an overview of her behalf.   Experts:  Even the movers were on time, they Could produce a receipt for your Money exchange, and Lorenzo Managed to match a fairly large sofa into the flat without taking off the door.   For these items, I gave them two stars. Disadvantages:  Lorenzo repeatedly and vigorously solicited my mom to get a hint.   From the minute they came in New Jersey into the minute they completed the transfer, Lorenzo asked my mum to trick them at least 12 times.   Furthermore, Once the movers came at the drop off place, they ceased to purchase lunch and then proceeded to sit at the truck and consume.   I guess if someone is paying you from the hour, then how dare you variable on your Personal paid lunch break.   Afterward, when my mom asked them to function and quit eating, among those 3 movers stated”you are quitting me eating my own red velvet cake,” jokingly, I am positive.   The movers utilized tattered, filthy blankets to protect her possessions.   They had been smoking cigarettes if they transferred her furniture.   They Don’t manage your possessions as they’re shifting them.   I had been watching the puppy out and also happened to Choose a minute, Once I watched my mum’s flat screen television and a Number of her sticks unattended at the lobby.   Someone might have walked along with her television and nobody could have understood.  The tape that they had to take together the blankets in the television and sofa, they pulled all around the ground.  Once they left I needed to wash up packages of used tape. A Couple of the movers got in a debate in the hallway if a man throws a tantrum.   Literally, the man storms off!   My mother asked what his problem was, and also another inspector said”he only needs a timeout!”   Again, you are being paid by the hour which should not Need to factor in your conniption fits.   And, later pre-paying the number they consented, after being abused and with her possessions mishandled, despite all of this, Lorenzo STILL had the audacity to ask my mom to get a hint.   She informed him that she wasn’t competent to give him one, and he requested her differently”come on, so you are able to give us a little something,” begging for being tilted.   After seeing how my mother has been medicated, I couldn’t in good conscience recommend this company to anyone.   If you’re looking for a moving company, then please move everywhere, you’ll be handled better.

    Long-distance move from Massachusetts
    Horrible

I’d agree with every one of the reviews.  The movers started off by just being two hours late to pick up my items.   Afterward which makes me late to an appointment I’d later that afternoon.  I needed to leave them alone in my house to finish the job.    My first quotation to move my items from MA to FL was 960.  After all of my items were wrapped and packaged the told me that the quotation was only an estimate and that the final cost could be $1640.  I informed them I’d have the ability to accept delivery on the 16th, my items eventually showed up on the 22nd.  In that time I made 20 phone calls attempting to learn which time and date my items might appear.  My calls were not returned, or I had been told that they would find out and call me back, which they never did.  I was left wondering why for a week when my items would appear.  This corporation will provide furniture each time they feel like it.  The day that they finally called me to delivery my items they requested if where I had been living would adapt a 55′ truck.  I told them no, just as I’d suggested on the contract a few weeks before.  They then informed me if I needed my furniture it would cost an additional $350.  On delivery day my items showed up clearly scratched, damaged, and sofas had rips.  In my first quoted the price more than doubled, I left twenty phone calls on my things, spent hours trying to use then, and my items were delivered in their own convenience.  I’m sorry I didn’t read the reviews before.  I picked them for the cost, but obviously they under bid their contest and then hammer you with extra charges and fees.  As they simply walked out my door I requested them to take their garbage with them and they said”sorry, we do not take garbage, you have a garbage can Eliminate it”.   A horrible experience and I would NEVER use this business or urge them.

    WORST DELIVERY COMPANY EVER

WORST DELIVERY COMPANY EVER” Client Rep:  Alecia:  ///Deal has been: Flat fee lent $400/ / (CHARGED $720.00)/ / Time of Pickup: 10am. (has been scheduled for  12-2pm)================================================= Signed up on the internet for a moving business. Receivd lots of calls from firms who gave me costs. Alecia from Your B Van Lines phoned and asked if I’d picked a provider as yet, sounds excited as I said no, then asked me how far I had been charged. I advised her $500. She then explained that it would cost me $400. She phoned me everyday because, I chose to give her my company and advised her that I’d like someone to come at 10am in the afternoon.  She phoned and required my credit card information with a downpayment of 50. The afternoon before the transfer, nobody called to affirm. The day of the appointment I phoned to learn as soon as the guys were arriving and that I had been told I had been reserved for a 12-2 appt. Amazing. The service guys came at 1:30pm. The rain began falling. This is what I had been hoping to prevent when I reserved the 10am appt since rain was called to drop from the day // Could you envision?  The  serviceman began trimming hourly prices to me and explained that it would require two excursions. The serviceman explained that he had other people’s furniture at the truck so all of my furniture wouldn’t have the ability to match. I named the business and clarify and they explained that they’ll speak to dispatch, and also the serviceman. They didn’t hear me the client. The serviceman told them differently and they did not even bother to phone me backagain. I had been trapped, couldn’t take another day away from the office, and they’d my safety deposit. I phoned and requested to talk with Alecia and has been told she had been there but didn’t need to speak to me personally. I had been told she no more handles this particular aspect. Wow!! . How fine. This was surprising because she had been the person who was calling me regular before getting my company. I had been coping with somene brand new who didn’t take care of what the client needs or whatever advice I had been formerly given, and clearly, Alecia didn’t need to get bothered.  This was only an explanation for overcharging me. I had no option and chose for the 2 trips. After the servicemen touched my shipping address on the 2 events he wouldn’t remove my items from the truck before he paid him. Additionally, my furniture that was never bubble wrapped with the firm were all wet. I had been held hostage into the firm. I got no apology or reduction in the business for several of the misinformation or to find the manner I was handled. That is my next day and nobody called to find out how my going went. Lousy customer services. If I’d read the reviews before I definitely wouldn’t have used them. I had numerous different calls however I select this dreadful business. I learned today to acquire verbal arrangement in writing rather than feel the words of repetitions that are attempting to generate a sale. Following such negative reviews I’m surpised which remain in business. This organization’s licence ought to be revoked. WORST COMPANY EVER; DO NOT USE THEM.

    Misleading, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Obviously I have a very long story, but I am only going to sum up it

I have done a ship load of study before selecting a business. Pricing and testimonials. All moving firms have their negative and positive testimonials. It is literally like taking a photo in the dark. So I just picked this business because they almost stalked me to my own small business and the added price was reasonable.

A Few bullet points:- MY sales man obviously mislead me to get my company – They DO display your requirements once they get your belongings and Won’t response – they gave me a run around on an ETA- They attempt to sew the phrases of this contract in their prefer – that I had been denied the title of the proprietor Once I needed to whine aboutmanagement
    – They utilize third party companies to delivery/pick your stuff up

First Bullet – that I had been misleadThere were many times later I supplied adjustments or additionsto my stock and these changes were not made. I’d be mailed a”brand new”quote though so it simply gets the whole amount appeasing.
In Addition, the date of shipping has been my own BIGGEST HASSLE EVER
I informed my sales man which I wanted delivery on 11/12/2013. Select up was 10/30/2013. This can be ample time to have the truck once I had itfor my transfer in (5 evening transportation each quotation ). Nobody ever made any mention of the fact that it would take more or that it would not get my things on this date I asked, soI guessed there would not be an problem. I WAS WRONG. I sat at a vacant apartment for another four days and did not understand when I’d even get my merchandise until the afternoon before shipping.
Secondly bullet – They display callsI cannot count on both hands the number of times I needed to predict the companyregarding my date of shipping. I talked with 3 distinct people (such as the director Brandy) and has been always told I would find a return phone to no avail. I needed to call in a blocked number or even a friends line to really get an reply to my phone.
Third Bullet – No ETASo when you are a MOVING firm, you are proficient at transferring things right? Safe to believe? Apparatnly not. They informed me my merchandise left in my expected date of shipping (10/12/2013) and that I did not have an expected dated of deliveryuntil which Friday (10/15/2013) for Saturday (10/16/2013). Each of a suddenthe date has been coined because”you oldest date of shipping”. No one employed thisterm formerly but I am a fair person. I said okay so that it cantake 3 times or anything (its a 16 hour drive). The behaviour is indeed incredibly sketchy I did not even know if my cargo needed LEFT before Thursday (10/14/2013). I can not imagine a provider not understanding where theirdriver is and just how long he can remain in that entire location. THIS IS YOURJOB ISN’T IT??
Fourth Bullet – Warping the contractSo for those couple of days I had been feuding with this supervisor, she informs methat my oldest date of delivery that I set down was 11/14/2013. Thiswas totally untrue.

Fifth Bullet – self explanitory. Never talked to this man. No discount given. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE

Sixth Bullet – that they assert they do not do so however they totally do. If your movers mess up something, theres nobody to complain to or get any advice on the procedure.
Disgusted with their support and might need to it away from the rooftops. STAY AWAY, BEWARE. PLEASE contact me should you’ve got any queries or want some type of further info.

    The absolute worst moving company

I actually have not experienced a more deplorable despicable business experience in my whole life… The whole staff and bureau will be morally bankrupt and I won’t ever employ this business ever again. Bar none of the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I intend on filing a civil lawsuit against this firm

    Communication issue/ bad customer service

My quotation seem sensible but should they are to pick it up cost $900 more. They’ve no courtesy at all. If the come to pick up my stuffs they’re 4 hours late and the men take their time to load the stuffs. They assert my delivery will be next day since the major truck is leaving that evening but it wasn’t correct. Then 3 days after I received the telephone and said it’ll be there next Saturday but then prove to be a significant disappointment and upsetting if nobody calls to stated that they will send my stuffs. I must telephone Alfed and he refused to pick up my calls. Never likely to use this business ever again. Becareful and remain far from them.

    I will keep you updated!

I’ve been so active that didnt find the opportunity to affirm and provide the deposit. But Alfred didn’t quit on me and called me. I’ve a reasonable quote together with all the guarantee of no hidden charges. They’ll pick up in NJ that Friday 3/25/2014 and send the 1st or 2nd of May 2014 to FL. Thus far so great in custumer support and Alfred response my doubts concerning the negative reviews I found online (yes! I request lol). I’ll keep you updated when my expertise is finished. Thanks for reading and I hope my travel helps.

Stay far away!!! This business is a fraud!!! They’re theives!!!!! They were super  late maybe not apologetic and impolite after they  showed up with a van half complete with somebody elses possessions after Alfred did stock with me and understood how much material I’d they had me sign to the deposit prior to telling me that the van had been half fulll!! Alfred whined about that is an all cash deal as he never said that but I see why they prefer money they’re scammers Alfred and Brandi the alleged Supervisor all of these! They pulled up in a graffitti van, so you’re better off throwing your money from the garbage. They’ve no morals or ethics.

    Horrible Customer Service.

It was a  dreadful expericence coping with those theives. They overcharged and kept saying what a fantastic bargain I recived out of them. They delivered two weeks after than promissed and never known to say they had been running late. I phoned many times from a number of unique amounts and largely no one replied. If somebody did answer they’d provide general answers which didn’t make sense. They were quite fine till they picked up my great and also recieved the depost. I had several broken things depending upon delivery plus they motorist kepts saying go to home depot and you’re going to be OK for just $5. I wish I’d done further research.

    A Great Experience

The business went over my expectations. Moving from Massachusetts out of Texas was a daunting job, however A to B Van lines created this as simple as it may get. My broker, Hannah, communicated well with me during the entire encounter, answering any questions I’ve had, fixing any of my worries, and handing me a heads up until my movers were anticipated to arrive and about the length of my matters were anticipated to be sent. All of my movers were professional and friendly, carrying my valuables and furniture under account during the packaging procedure and ensuring that which was protected to the very best of the ability. My movers coming from Texas was the tricky job of parking an 18 wheeler in my road because of its installation, but it had been realized and efficiently unloaded without obstructing traffic. They’re courteous, friendly, and professional. I had an fantastic experience with the business.

    My moving experience.

I talked to a sales man by the name of Marie. She had been quite enchanting. The sole real reason I moved with the business, she understood what she was referring to she knew my concerns and she offered me. The cost was somewhat higher than that which I’ve received but I trusted her. On the state of pickup there was definitely a cost change. Something I didn’t anticipate however it was since the movers wouldn’t fill my tvs and glass things with no appropriate materials. (I needed to cover it). But after everything was professionally packed I had been satisfied. Over All My 1200 Moved turned Into $1360. I got my delivery daily that I had been assured and I’d refer them again just be aware they charge for packaging and they won’t load the things with no

    Con artists and crooks

Where do I begin. This provider is actually the worse. They had been so dreadful that I included the better business bureau. They offered a price and they’ll provide you a very low cost on goal to reel you in. They stated 1,400.00 to transfer me out of CT into GA.. After the movers came, before they even got in the condominium great they stated that its gont charge me more because of 8 or 7 they were only saying things which didn’t make sense. They predicted Brandi and that’s as soon as the cost went around 2,000.00. The sole reason I consented is because somebody was going to my condo the following moment! They picked up my stuff after arguing with me regarding the cost for 3 months , on June 30,2015 at a little van. I asked the driver if we expect that our things he stated seven days. I stated why so long??? All of a sudden he could not talk English. . .any manner one week moved by then two months and that’s when I began calling asking where is my furniture? Brandi was fine if she had been gathering my money then all the sudden she had been horrible and acted as she did not understand what I was speaking about. Hannahs the quick talker, do you really understand that my furniture was eventually delivered to AUGUST 5!!!! Do not use them. That is exactly what they do but they also do not inform you. They take your own furniture into a warehouse till they get additional furniture afterward whenever the tractor trailer is complete THEN they provide your furniture. I have type 2 diabetes and all my med’s have been at a box. I just taken med’s for two weeks. They shot so long I needed to visit the hospital to receive med’s. I kept calling and they have been SO NASTY for me like I am calling for nothing whatsoever. We had to sleep on the ground for more than a month and then wear the exact clothing for two and a half an hour. Thank god we drove and drove some things with us. My sister lives in SI and that I moved into the police dept to record my furniture stolen. THE POLICE DEPT KNOWS ABOUT THEM. They informed my sister I must submit a police record. NOW eventually when my furniture came to my property, my entire meals was ruined. My new new T.V. stand needed a very long scrape it. I mentioned that and even sent images to Brandi. It is November 2 and she is still blowing my calls. Not only was a few of my things ruined, but they did not have the decency to mention I am sorry. I beg of you do not utilize them. Oh and also they have such a bad rep that they have three or more different telephone numbers and they’ll ignore you when they receive your MONEY. If There’s some Excellent testimonials, expect and think THEY WROTE THEM BECAUSE NO ONE WOULD SAY ANYTHING NICE ABOUT THESE CON ARTISTS AND CROOKS!
