Unprofessional, outrageously costly, and a entire rip-off.  I scheduled my movement with Mr. Al Hogan Jr.. On the telephone, we shared the sum of (completely furnished) chambers I had in my apt and that I lived on the 3rd floor of my flat bldg..  He explained that the move could cost $120/hr for 3 professional movers and the transfer will be anticipated to choose between three or four hrs. He said that the entire price would be approximately $500, that can be expensive, but I guessed, I am paying for professionals.  Mr. Hogan explained that I was able to cover by cash or using a debit or credit card.  My movement was scheduled for 8:30am.  The movers arrived pretty much on time, however when Al Hogan researched my flat, he said he would need to find a larger truck.  After he had been gone for a couple of hours, I tried to phone him to find out what was taking so long, along with his small business phone was disconnected. Now I am wondering if that is some type of scam.   They eventually came back a bit after 11am, and if they returned, they nevertheless had the exact same truck as before.  OK.  Before they started, Mr. Hogan wrapped the china cupboard and appliances, which was lovely, but that is where all went down hill.  About one hour to the transfer, among those 3″specialist” movers stopped.  Apparantly, he had been out of a notary service and determined proceeding was too much for him.  Today, moving is a seriously hard job, but if you are a plumber, what can you anticipate?  So, only two movers abandoned, and they seemed just like a person’s old uncles in the corner liquor store.  Both were elderly gentlemen, neither among those them had an ounce of power, and they had been moving one thing at a time, since they did not even have a dolly; they had a rickety piece of timber with rickety wheels onto it.   About 3:30 in the afternoon, Mr. Hogan explained that”I had been killing his guys”, but when he believed that bad for them, why did not he become the 3rd guy I had hired and assist them rather than standing about barking out instructions.  1 inspector asked my son why he was not helping transfer the stuff.  “Duh” – that is what he had been hired for.  The movement dragged on for so long, I eventually did get up my son to assist me transfer all of the furniture into the rear door so that they could just grab it and go.  I told them I’d move the smaller things myself since it was taking too much time.  When they arrived in the new location to move the furniture in, once more, my son and I (and I am a girl ) helped them go the mattresses, box springs, boxes, and luggage in to get the task finished.  They did not end shifting me till 7:45pm.  Really an all day proceed.  Subsequently Mr. Al Hogan includes all the grand total of 1100.  $1100 rather than $500 since it took them 9 hours to finish the move.  He wouldn’t take into consideration that my son and I helped them finish the movement, nor the fact that among his movers stopped and forced the movement to take more, or even subtract the several breaks his guys took because being specialist movers, they did not take into consideration the occupation would be so hard.  Mr. Al Hogan and I contended brutally and finally he knocked down the price to an even expansive, but refused to shoot my refrigerator and stove away from the truck before I paid him.  So, I give him $500 in money and let him bill another $500 (recall he said I could pay with a credit or debit card) and he informs me that he does not possess the capacity to have a charge card, and I would have to go find an ATM and get him the remainder of his cash.  I advised him that if he did not accept the card that he would not get paid, so he eventually writes down my credit card number and explained that”It better go through”.  A genuine expert right?  I am still having questions about this movement and will utilize EVERY review website I can see to inform people about these.
