    Woody and Sons

Asked to get a quotation and got a call back right away. They put me up to the subsequent week. Bill and Charlie were on time, introduced themselves and proceeded to work. They made sure that everything was packaged securely and covered with blankets to reduce harm. Wish I’d used them for my previous movement. I’d certainly recommend them!!

    My Review

The one at work managing the structures was fantastic. I enjoyed talking with her every time and felt convinced she had been caring for everything. The team that arrived was promp and went right to work. They took no fractures and functioned steady and difficult. Towards the end they had been clearly growing tired and made a couple of mistakes. I believed they had a lunch break.

    Rude and unprofessional

The woman on the telephone handling the customer support was so impolite. I received a quote and chose my time period 6-8 to be informed I’d understand when then movers could arrive before the afternoon off and everywhere between 6am to 3pm. She told me when I did not enjoy it that I could take my business else where which I am doing. What a dreadful experience and from the looks of these testimonials, I am happy I did.

    Repeat customer

I’ve utilized this service every time that I moved, and hoped the exact same amount of support but had been disappointed. The girl who books the appointments has been really argumentative and rude. I’ve referred a great deal of people for this organization but not again. Word of the shrewd that their great only the very first time after the grade of customer support is horrible. At least that is my expertise.

    Flawless move

I’ve moved quite a bit the last couple of years and years and toddlers would be the ideal company around. The cost is fair, the folks are friendly and they work exceptionally hard. For our out of state transfer, we’d Matt, tommy along with Daryl package and load our belongings. They were exceptionally kind and productive. Our materials had to journey out of fl to pa and came less than two days in excellent condition. Willy drove our things and unloaded. He even took the opportunity to take care of our stuff well and put everything in the perfect location. Additionally, when reserving a transfer and together with followup questions, Sarah at the workplace is great. She actually made us feel less stressed about our relocation and shipped us excellent recommendations for cleaning businesses, etc.. She also went out of her way to telephone me with updates when our stuff has been on the street. Do not use any other firm.

    Damaged items and overcharges

Complaint: The last statement was nearly double the in-home quote we obtained. Additionally, we were not compensated for damaged items brought throughout the move.On October 9th, a Woody & Sons agent did a in-home moving quote. He also spent 30 minutes analyzing our forthcoming move. He decided that the move would necessitate two movers, 5-7 hours, totaling $510-680. The moving business owner ***** referred to as a few days afterwards and explained the quote forgot to incorporate the 149 piano moving fee, bringing the new total to $659-829. Furthermore, she consented to reduce our hourly fee to 75. The movement happened Oct. 30, 2013. The two man team took 9.25 hours, forgot that the apparel boxes (that were itemized in the first quote ) and didn’t have sufficient blankets and pads to your furniture. Because of this, many parts of furniture have been scratched and damaged since they filled them unwrapped to the truck. The movers tried to hang the garments by a rope at the van. The rope came loose and the garments fell into the road and on the floor of the van. My husband and I loaded both of our cars as well as lamps and boxes to accelerate the procedure because it was getting late. The team was tired and lost a box of meals, breaking a number of these. After the 14 shuttle transfer was full, the team gave us a statement for about $1020.25 and noticed that the broken dishes around the bill. Because it was after 10pm, we agreed to cover them and call their manager in the afternoon. My husband named Woody & Sons on Nov 1st and left an opinion concerning the broken objects and overcharge for its transfer. At Nov 4, so we didn’t get an answer, so I sent an email reiterating our queries. Nov 5, we now obtained a reply from ***** which she’d speak with the movers and damage management. She asked pictures of compensation. My husband sent photos and scattering the harms and overcharge. ***** Denied a refund since the movement was harder than they expected because of the staircase in the condominium. Our purpose was that the staircase were there if the rep failed an abysmal quote. There were really less things that had to be transferred since we’d obtained several carloads into the brand new home following the estimate has been granted. She also sent an email to us suggesting that we ought to have advised her movers that the very last movers had a very tricky time navigating the staircase. We did inform them that the prior movers dented the stairs, which explains precisely why we chose to go with another business. Many mails were traded attempting to convince ***** that the reason we’d her business representative perform an in-home quote was so there could be no”surprises”. She also implied that she wasn’t accountable for the foods that were broken because they didn’t package them. The box dropped approximately 4 ft from the top of a pile of boxes on the hand truck. The dishes could have broken when anybody packaged them being lost that tough. On Dec 17, we’d still not even obtained compensation for those dishes, which she’d consented to. We contacted ***** and she stated she’d have a test sent daily. On Jan 14, we still had not received the settlement check and delivered a reminder email.

    Best Move Yet!

Being a military family we’ve moved a good deal during the previous ten decades. If you are searching for movers we got numerous quotations, among which was with Woody & Sons Moving. We narrowed our choice down to two movers and then did a little study. Both firms had complaints online , again one being Woody & Sons Moving. My husband motivated me to call every organization and request explaintion of those complaints. The next company wasn’t so forthcoming and baiscally said things occur and you can’t make everyone happy. Woody & Sons on the other hand has been quite honest… clarified that in 2011 throuth 2012 the husband and wife owners split as well as the husband maintained the corporation. Further explained/admitted that there were bad surgeries in this period and that the spouse took back over in February 2012. The girl gave sufficient details I could return to each of the complaints I found online and fit her narrative to the dates, even found that the husbands name at a couple of. I consulted my husband and we decided to provide Woody & Sons a opportunity. We’re so happy that we did like this was our very best move yet. . 1 mirror had been broken and they had it replaced over fourteen days as promised, we did not even buy the extra insurance as provided. The group was quite quickly and very friendly which makes us feel comfortable. They predicted before coming, showed up on time, also introduced themselves on coming. I’m submitting this review to allow all customers out there understand that not what we read online is as it appears. . .always provide enough time to ask questions. Woody & Sons handled our relocation perfectly and we’ll be moving together again in October 2013 and will reccommend them to all of our loved ones members and friends.

    Whole house move

I could not disagree with all the other reviews of the firm!  I’ve moved several times before and that was undoubtedly the BEST movers I’ve ever utilised whatsoever!  In the very first contact, the onsite quotation, the follow up pre-move, evening of transfer and followup after the transfer they had been 5 celebrities movers in each manner.  I transferred out of a third floor walk up to a 2-story home with a great deal of quite thick furniture and breakable products.  Not 1 thing was broken or scraped.  Every product was closely wrapped in moving blankets and then wrapped in plastic to maintain blankets set up.  I thought that this could be quite time intensive causing the movement to become more and more costly but it was rather the reverse!  I have never noticed 4 guys proceed so fast and work along with a staff.  The transfer was finished so quickly and well below what I’d expected it breaking I managed to give all of them a very generous hint and purchase all of them lunch that I had been more than pleased to do!  I strongly recommend them and when I need to go again I’ll use them with no hesitation!  I can not thank them enough for creating a stressful day proceed easily.

    BUYER BEWARE!! Broken-Stolen-Dishonest-Unprofessional

I utilized Woody and Sons in March of 2010. It’s taken me this long to write something since I only wanted to push the dreadful experience under the carpet and forget about it. But, I still have enormous anger to how I had been treated and the dreadful experience they (Sara largely ) put me through. After viewing all of the negative review I believed it necessary to incorporate my experience in hopes that nobody else would need to go through exactly what I did!  I was moving to TN from FL so of course it was a really stressful time anyhow. Sara was quite nice and appeared professional whilst speaking to her about utilizing them. She even told me about a post that has been written about the business and also for me to look this up. It was really that article that offered me and a good price quote. We scheduled a time to pickup and they were a few hours late. As soon as they got there (I lived on the second floor) they had been throwing my items from the second floor to the first floor for a different man to grab. My furniture was slamming into the sides of the stair railings and at one stage I needed to request them to become more careful. I had a massive headboard which needed to be taken apart into many pieces. They could not find where a part of it had been attached so rather than having patience and continued to appear, they simply began YANKING it to come apart. I needed to find strong and request them to step aside so that I could discover it. Woody’s spouse, SARA, showed up afterwards and I asked her at the time to please tell them to become more careful and she said they’ve been doing this a lengthy time and they know what they’re doing. I’d paid for 3 movers to maintain my flat in TN and once the truck showed up a complete day late it had been only Woody. I’ve extremely heavy things, I live alone and I’m 52 years old. I had been moving into the next floor that they understood from the start. There wasn’t a whole lot I could assist him with. He transferred up everything three flights of stairs, place it from the door and I took everything in from there! Before signing a contract with Woody and Sons, I emailed Sara many images of items I would require”particular attention” with. There were three chief posts which were very special to me and incredibly delicate. TWO of the three posts were broken at shipping (one broken up, one overlooking )!!! As soon as I called Sara not even 10 minutes following Woody left to inform her I had been overlooking a huge mirror that extends into some curio cabinet she stated she’d call Woody and return to me. While waiting to return to me I discovered that the glass into a 450 dollar wall image was totally broken and removed from the framework!! When she phoned me back concerning the mirror which allegedly was abandoned on the vehicle, I informed her about the film and she essentially began calling me a liar!! My only saving grace to the entire thing was that the images I’d taken before the contract to find out whether they could manage that sort of stuff clearly revealed glass in that film. I really could write a novel on the nightmare I went through for this particular girl and the corporation. My daughter needed to bring my lost mirror upward from Florida later Sara told her she’d send it to her and two weeks afterwards eventually got it to her. After I got it out of my daughter, low and behold, it wasn’t exactly the exact same mirror so needless to say they broke the first one and replaced it with a substantially thinner, thinner mirror!! I still have many emails back and forth from Sara calling me a liar and threatening me with a lawsuit since I stopped payment on the previous check before this all got straightened out. I wound up paying her the final payment since following the horendous experience in the transfer, I simply couldn’t continue to undergo anymore with her because she had been not threatening to take me to court. It never actually did get straightened out as far as I’m concerned. I had not been made complete for my reduction!! ALL I CAN SAY IS BUYER BEWARE WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

I can only say THANK YOU!

After reading a few of those reviews, I had been reluctant at first to consent to have Woody & Sons perform my move.  However, after speaking with Sara and phoning some references, I chose to place my hope in this neighborhood enterprise.  Could I say – from begin to finish, it was a completely professional job!  The truck and men showed up exactly when promised….and they simply dug in and began moving.  The team were all very personable and really made the movement somewhat less painful with their ancestral approaches and the general can-do attitude during the whole 7 hours.  Everything – and I mean that which was closely wrapped or padded – and also their experience in packaging the truck was great – I never believed that so much”STUFF” may be inserted in 1 truck!  It is all inside their professionalism however. . .it’s not just shifting items – it is understanding how to load up the vehicle to have the greatest in….something I never thought about earlier.  I can only offer you this information – if you would like your move to proceed as easily as a move could be – call this provider.  Rates are extremely fair, and their support was top-notch!  As a result of this excellent team you sent, and invite you Sara, to the type attitude and being really good!

    Horrible experience

I requested a quotation for a transfer.  The mover suggested & I appeared to get a site visit to be able to find an specific quote, to prevent any surprises.  Robert came. He saw everything was to be moved. On move day that they came & stuffed with truck  capacity.  I volunteered to lease a self-haul truck to move the rest.  In the unload end, I was satisfied with the necessity to pay extra for’underestimating the time” until they’d unload the vehicle.  AND they denied any compensation for the very own self-haul rental, not as much MY energy & time to load/unload it.  Afterwards I received many mails from Mr. Elwood Jones,727-935-4302 Office, 727-645-6493 Office, asserting he’d send a check to repair this. After the check never came, he promised to have it personally delivered to my house.  I gave them up & reported them to the Florida Department of Agriculture and customer solutions, their licensing department. That company gave them 60 days to respond, that was dismissed. That’s the least of it.  I voiced my dissatisfaction on Craigslist & over hours I received telephone calls and texts, responding to some sleazy personal ad that I never submitted.   This has been followed by lots of contacts from’inspector quotation agency’ saying they had been responding to my query, which I hadn’t ever made.  I’m sure it’s this disgruntle inspector that pioneered these activities.  That is an unscrupulous firm who adds to the standing that movers possess, which of slick, cheating used auto sales folks and also the likes.

    POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I scheduled a transfer via email for this provider 10days in progress for Dec 28th, 2011. I asked 9am from the email but not discovered they did affirm that time around the email, just the afternoon. I was likely to find a phone the day prior to the transfer from the motorist. From 4:30pm on Dec 27th, nobody had ever called so that I phone the office and figure out they’ve down my move to 2:30pm rather than 9am. I was livid but at that stage they have you by the balls and they all understand it. They attempt and smooth it over and state more than likely they’ll be ancient. Right. I spend the whole day waiting on them, only to find a telephone at 1:15pm which the transfer they’re on will take more than anticipated and they wouldnt be there till 4pm. I’m moving a 1 BR apt downstairs, moving it within a hour north and putting it in storage. It becomes dark at 5:15pm that an it had been to be 40degrees following dark during the night. I was livid to say the very least. I went to neighborhood Craigslist, located HALL BROTHERS MOVING CO, hired them instantly and turned out and known as Woody and Sons and fired them at 2:30 in the day. The man who answered the telephone has been dumbfounded because he likely did not believe anyone would actually do so to THEM and that they must dictate the conditions of the screwing. HA! I couldn’t have been more impressed by HALL BROTHERS. They called to say that they had been in their way in 8am, showed up at 9am, filled the truck, drove it an hour and had it ridden and completed at 3.5hrs. They simply wished to bill me 3.5hrs however that I compensated them for 4hrs and tipped every one of these $40.00each. It literally could not have been a more pleasant and skilled move. The No Stress Moving Company

Transferring as we all know may be extremely stressful. As soon as I decided Woody & Sons Transferring to transfer my loved ones I already knew I’d get outstanding service per a number of my customers who’ve already used them. When they arrived, they all came out ready with tape, boxes, tools, whatever!

They had my 2000 sqft house packed inside one hour! The inspector functioning that afternoon has been Sly, a very capable and professional inspector. He wasn’t just very nostalgic but also very cautious with all my belongings and proceeded through the house effortlessly.

He surely made the movement much simpler.

Sarah and Woody of all Woody & Sons Transferring were amazing on the telephone with scheduling and also calling ahead to ensure everything was organized and punctually.

I will probably suggest Woody & Sons Moving to every one of my loved ones, Friends and Customers to get some of the shifting needs.

Thanks Woody & Sons Moving for creating my transfer easier and enjoyable.

All the best to you all.

    GREAT MOVERS!

I had checked about for movers and has been awarded their name in my regional Uhaul facility when selecting boxes. They have been prompt, courteous and quite simple to use on short notice. I would read other comments which weren’t positive but with just two days prior to my transfer, I needed to go with my belly that was positive. The men who proceeded me phoned first to find out if I could shoot them early and they did not quit busting their tails daily. They were courteous, friendly, professional and took really great care of all of my things. In the conclusion of the evening, there were just two parts of furniture that the men had a few extra hands to catch up th staircase and they could bring in two additional crewmembers fast and find that furniture set up. My movement quotation has been antipated to be about 4 -5 hours plus it did require a couple of hours longer however I had a great deal of boxes along with a few furniture that was awkward. I could not have asked for a much better experience. I’d recommend them highly!

    Horrible

They were overdue to my house (was advised 7am beginning they arrived at 10:30am) I had been told 6 hour quote, it took 9 hours. There was a scrape to a bit of the furniture (classic desk) and has been guided that somebody would come evaluate harm, they never revealed. Tried to get in contact with email and telephone, took a single week to get a reply and has been awarded some BS excuse that their email wasn’t functioning properly. After all of the explanations I have never got anything accomplished. They had submitted a permit number but once I investigated it I discovered it had been died. Not positive if they’re even very insured.
