Worst service ever. I opted to make a go for this particular business based on the fantastic reviews. However, my experience with this provider is a nightmare. Everything looks good until pickup. When it had been a time for shipping nobody has been there to answer your own telephone. Never get any call from them concerning the delivery. I needed to call all of the time. Eventually, when they arrived for shipping, they came with an very major trailer that I specifically told them never permitted on land. This had been the strangest experience I have had with a moving company in my own life. The problems handily started once I paid my money. I had been having things sent out of my grandmother’s house from NJ on WA. Though they agreed initially , they retracted and stated that there were records that needed to be signed up in person. We appreciated Universe Express to our transfer in Bergen County to Hudson County. By the beginning of our expertise we all felt well cared for and that our valuables are in great hands.  They took excellent care of most of our possessions and were cautious with all our furniture.  They wrapped up our 56 inch TV in order that no damange had been completed.

I picked Universe Express to get a 42 mile movement within NJ. They arrive, begin the clock and pay 30 mins which makes you sign up paperwork. I feel these men were formerly called Enterprise Relocation. I had been quoted $300 and ended up paying $700.

We originally contacted UNIVERSE EXPRESS Moving & Storage to find a quote and price quote. We supplied them with a thorough list of all furniture and things necessary to be transferred and approximate number of boxes. They advised me that it should take approximately (3) hours to the comprehensive move and that it would be $392.00. This sounded like a fair price so that we gave them a $100.00 deposit.

We had a scheduled moving window from Between 12:00PM-2:00PM on October 1, 2011. They were quite late and didn’t appear until 4:30. As a result of this, we needed to wait around for them.

When they did eventually appear required a lengthy time packing up stuff. Then they told me that there were added fees since they’d wrapped a bedroom mirror along with a dining room hutch. When they were completed packing the truck, they left and we left after them. We got the flat and they weren’t there. We sat there and waited patiently for another 20-30 minutes before we saw them push from the new flat. After about 20 more minutes had passed and they didn’t appear however, we chose to offer them a phone. They stated they had been down parked on a road round the corner. We requested them”nicely why you did not call us?” They didn’t have any excuse.

When they eventually showed up in the new apartment that they took a very long time unloading the truck. As it came time for them to reassemble our pricey dining room table, they were not able to locate that the (8) bolts and hardware. Then they blamed us for throwing them out. We spent a little of the time searching throughout the van and did not locate the bolts. After they’d left the bolts were discovered in a box that the movers had placed them in and forgotten about. We needed to reassemble the dining table by ourselves.

While transferring the movers damaged and chipped one of our dressers. The then attempted to mention it was like this. We’ve since discovered the broken little bits on the ground below the dresser in which the movers had clearly damaged it.

As it came time to cover up, the movers moved through the bill with us. They included gas surcharges and other penalties, including an excess hour to allow them to push back to their workplace.
