I found after the moving team left that my drier pedestal wouldn’t remain closed and my sleep number bed wasn’t working correctly.
I emailed the salesman inquiring if they’d pay to have both items repaired. Following three e-mails, I never got a reply. I called the appliance business where I purchased the base and was advised that it would cost approximately $250.00 to mend due to the service call fee. Two Guys and a Truck stated they’d pay up any damages to a specific dollar amount. I received the part myself out of the appliance business where I purchased the base for $30.00 and that I managed to replace it following a battle since I’m not mechanically inclined.
I googled my sleep number bed to discover how to put it together correctly so that I chose the sleep number mattress aside and re-assembled it. It’s a split king at which every side of the mind lift independently and the toes increase together (this function wasn’t working). As soon as I took it apart the 1 air baffle was upside down, then the foam which divides the two sides was below the 1 air baffle so that there was a bulge. I did get back the bed together and it’s now working correctly.
I paid a great deal of cash to have 2 Guys and Truck transfer me and am rather disappointed that they don’t stand behind thier announcement that they would correct any harms. I’m quite thankful they didn’t screw up my 70 inch OLED LG TV!
The team was great but the customer support before and afterwards sucks!! I needed to move my transfer date because when I phoned to affirm that the first date that the gave me that was at the middle of this week as I had been told it’s more economical, the salesman left the remark they could transfer me daily but they were actually booked. With that comment I didn’t feel as they’d take some opportunity to maneuver me correctly so I transferred into a Saturday but advised the Salesman I desired exactly the exact same speed which he did provide me. Following the transfer, I never got an answer to the 3 e-mails concerning my damages that I shipped.
I wouldn’t recommend Two Guys and a Truck simply due to the customer support before and after the transfer!
The 2 men came over they’d really very great care Of my paintings at every one of my possessions I packaged everything flawlessly I had zero difficulty that they were beneficial in every way that it had been a complete best job I urge them and won’t ever use anybody else. Moving is tough they left it simple
They offered me $22,092.50 to maneuver a one-bedroom flat. It turned out to be a very long distance transfer but still! This has been 5x all other quotations. Do not squander your own time
My move happened in November 2019 plus it had been among the worst moves ever. I’ve moved across the nation with no problems but somehow going:40 minutes off looked too much for this particular provider. It began with the team boss that began grumbling since we had them perform any packaging. The packaging was random and due to this we wound up using several things broken. Then since they began delivering things to our new house they did not have some longer mats and did not have some padding to the for your banisters or doorways. This lead to plenty of knicks, scratches, and scratches into the trim, shingles and doors in addition to filthy white carpets. FYI- the house was recently painted and rugs cleaned until we proceeded in.
Then if they were earning a big armoire that has been bought for about $4000. They broke off the foot and now we have awakened so it will not fall over. So as to acquire the armoire at the home, they required the garage man door away. When they had been moving back into the old home for one more load they propped it up. Obviously they forgot that it had been propped up and the door slammed on the floor. Placing a gouge in the timber flooring and fully hurting the door lockset past repair.
Furthermore, they randomly left things out to the rear terrace without telling us at the center of winter, abandoned roughly 10 percent of our household things in the old home, threw whatever that they sent later in the day randomly to the garage and began to find a really”who cares” attitude late daily.
To top off it struck my 11 year-old daughter’s snow world with telling us. I found it out when I discovered broken glass out of it onto a bookshelf & from the carpeting. The snow world was no where in sight. So after that night that I had been fortunate enough to clean up broken glass & explain to my daughter the way the snow world, that was a gift from her grandma, who was currently broken.
Worst of all was Justin, their thousand dollar revenue team winner, that entirely underestimated the project. This added to the strain of his employees since they had a lengthy evening and added to the strain of my loved ones who needed to find a young woman to college in the afternoon. Then as they’re telling us that we owe them extra $1546.18 in 10 PM in the night that they pull away the scare strategies. The whole team stumbled around my husband at the kitchen since he spoke with Mike that the growth in our invoice. Mike wouldn’t depart until we place the whole sum on the charge card. He explained to call Brandon, ” the supervisor to possess him decrease the invoice the following moment. Needless to say, Brandon denied to decrease the invoice and was really rude.
So all we all must pay more to get a thousand dollar sales man to interrupt our occupation, for the team to appear without the appropriate gear, for things to be broken, our house to be broken, to follow infighting of the team on how best to maneuver things, inefficient utilization of labor & trucks and then to become intimidated in our own house. Although we didn’t agree to cover them for a few extra time for packaging, they determined what was reasonable for its damages and only credited back it to card with no agreement. It was not nearly sufficient to the damages which were caused and frustrations they triggered. Funny part is that we paid more because of their horrible support than we would have paid for the complete service movers we were planning to move with. And only to be decent folks we fed the team & even tilted them as we believed that they had been placed into a no win scenario.
Do not be deceived by their low prices, and their catchy slogan about”healing you as they’d treat their own grandma”. I would not cure my worst enemy that badly!!
What a fantastic experience. Jeff, also Andrew were so great. The best I have ever had the chance to possess move for me personally. I’ll certainly call again once I move. They made it so easy!!!!! It was a miserable scenario, but they left it interesting. Very Quite nice young guys. Thank you in Sarasota Florida. Angie & Starr
OUR MISSION
“The assignment of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is to constantly strive to exceed our clients’ expectations in value and higher quality of gratification.” Rather, what happened to us was that the”Move from Hell”!
This past August, we contracted with the Shakopee, MN workplace of 2 Guys and a Truck to perform our brief distance transfer. Our problems started when just two individuals came despite the fact that we had been promised 3 individuals on account of the simple fact that we had any very heavy furniture.
The movers which were sent were quite friendly but unbelievably careless. While many movers perform, they loaded a number of our things in big cardboard boxes on a dolly for them into the truck. The difficulty was that they paid no more attention to how things were thrown in these boxes — piling heavy things on top of milder breakable ones. They kept reassuring us that matters were secure but as we discovered after getting our items delivered, this wasn’t the situation.
When our property came at our new house, we found the next. A busted classic lamp, a broken lamp, an extremely costly lampshade using a deep crease inside, bent piece onto a different lamp, gouges and scratches on several pieces of wooden furniture, a large chip from the corner of a desk, a tear in the fabric of a dining room seat, a large tear at the base of our newer costly mattress, and quite a few other tiny issues too many to mention.
Then came the 4-month ordeal of trying to get things repaired by means of this corporation. Generally they could discover a repair person to perform a pretty good job. Our king-sized mattress is no longer under warranty since they gouged holes in the mattress. The correct person cut on a bad paper-like fabric and glued it stating that was the very best they’d do. In regards to the seat mentioned previously, we needed to ship it back two. To begin with , they patched the once pristine fabric-not acceptable. Next when it had been returned, it seemed the cloth was connected to the wooden construction like by a 5-year-old. The cloth was loosely connected to the framework along with the corners trapped out in a variety of directions. The next time it had been mended, the seat was sent by Andrew, the shop supervisor, who said the job was completed by professionals. The corners stuck out like burnout; the cloth could be pulled off in the corners since they were so loose. There also were two little holes in the cloth. When we pointed out the situation to Andrew, he refused to even look at the seat and made the remark that they are just movers, not scientists. He became rather intransigent when we attempted to get him to assist and essentially told us — too poor. “Some folks just can not be happy.” (We’d approved the Other repairs)
This organization’s movers appear to get fairly good reviews overall, however in our situation, they were seemingly quite badly trained and careless also. What’s more, the supervisor was reluctant to ensure that things were appropriate before ignoring us. If I could offer them a score of less than one star, I’d have done so.
So much for their Mission Statement.
The worst ever experience. The group was supposed to arrive at 10am in the morning and delivered a message late night the preceding day which they won’t be in a position to come without a reply as. My entire plan was destroyed. Never ever depend on these
I hired two Guys at a Truck of Calgary (that really is really a franchise) to move in my new residence. What a dreadful experience. I am of the mindset that things might fail, accidents occur, and it is the way you fix them which counts the most. This is such a disappointing experience, also very sad that moving businesses can treat people like this.
In my case, they dropped a drawer in my dresser/bedframe, the movers ruined a lamp so only chose to leave it behind, large unpacked images with glass were smashed, along with also a box of my grandma’s china was inadvertently dropped from the truck and landed all around the road.
The workplace reacted to the, moving back and forth together with direction, to evaluate these problems. In response, they did construct a new drawer to substitute the one which went lost, over a 3 month interval. Additionally they finally offered to replace the lamp and image frame, but provided amounts lower than I’d even have the ability to use to obtain a similar used variation on kijiji. In Reference to the dishes, following a few months of moving forth and back they provided 10 percent of everything they were really worth (and that I inquired for
We trusted this business to transfer our worldly possessions into our new house. They were careful when seeking to attract our business. Our belonging were ruined during the transfer and a few items dropped. We’ve been attempting to find the company to solve this dilemma via multiple mails and telephone calls without avail. Currently this procedure was happening for 3 nearly 3 weeks. The last time we talked to somebody we had been told we’d find a call following the weekend which was nearly 3 months ago. We bought insurance, so they ought to honor this. My advice don’t employ them locate movers that will truly”good care”, about your possessions.
Don’t use!! They broke the frame on a photo and required it to be mended then dropped it. They dismissed my calls to get three weeks stating they’d look after it till they saw I was not moving away they then told me their business policy is in case you do not have a receipt for the thing they dropped or broke they won’t reimburse you! How a lot people have a receipt for every single thing we have? None. To make it worse that they billed me to get insurance I did not request and still wouldn’t cover the missing thing.
Inferior support. Lazy movers. They broke my smart television. I filled out a claim program and they never reply me back. I used this business two year past to move the exact same this. I simply move 10 minutes away from my trailer speech and the billed me $400 dollars additional. I means in just two year I think that it’s too much.
Do not use this organization. Very irresponsible. Do not squander your money and time together.
Just horrible! A nightmare!
This firm, I had the sole centered on Michigan Avenue in Orlando, Florida, couldn’t be worse. They ruined multiple parts of furniture, such as a piano and smashed desk, shattered photograph frames, costly glass bowls and lots of different items. RUN AWAY from that organization. Don’t rely on them to transfer anything you appreciate.
They provided my 92-year old mum a 10% Senior Discount, then
Reneged on the deal, plus they shifted the time fee after the actuality! Could have been rated higher but because of its clinics and mindset of direction. Hugely disappointed.
If I could do anything over again it will be to maneuver myself or not have called this provider. We just recently proceeded to unsubscribe from Redlands and my spouse discovered two guys and a truck on mine I wish we’d have not trusted them about the purchase price. Not only did they include extra charges onto our invoice however, they showed up over 10 days late from the day that they promised. We had been warned that this corporation couldn’t be reliable but we believed they had a excellent reputation online, at least my spouse di not merely did they put in extra charges onto our invoice but they showed up over 10 days late from the day that they guarantee. We had been warned that this corporation cannot be reliable but we believed they had a excellent reputation at stake in, at least my wife did. Frankly I’d tell any of my friends or family you are better off going yourself at a U-Haul with three blind mice, never again.
I hired this business in April 2018 to transfer the contents of a three bedroom townhouse in North Myrtle Beach S.C. to a storage device in Spartanburg S.C. that I reside in Raleigh N.C. therefore that the contents sat in storage untouched until May 2019 when all was transferred into a home in Spartanburg. You will find 4 Sony televisions at the townhouse and 1 was a brand new Sony smart tv. Upon draining the storage device, I found that the new smart tv wasn’t there. I phoned the Conway, S.C. workplace on May 17, 2019 and talked with Keith the director. He promised me that he’d look into it and call me back on Monday, May 20, 2019. Guess what! It’s currently June 3, 2019 and I haven’t got a reply. They didn’t account for that which they eliminated from the townhouse and didn’t account for that which they transferred into the storage device. They buried the rest 3 televisions at the center of the device so that I wouldn’t observe that 1 had been missing. I wasn’t able to follow along with their truck between both locations. I wasn’t able to ensure the truck to be certain nothing was eliminated. I needed to wait for more than one hour in Spartanburg to allow them to appear so they had lots of time to fall off the tv somewhere. Don’t use this organization. They’re thieves.
They came late then among those men used our toilet for thirty minutes. They were rather slow. Then they sent out another person to assist at a cost of $70/hr. They moved beyond their projected period. They broke a dresser and a desk and asserted that their manager would fix or replace the items after which the firm denied our harm claim and stated that we signed them off not fixing broken things. WORST MOVING COMPANY I’VE EVER USED.
Hiring Two Guys and a Truck for the transfer turned out for a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! The great news: both movers were fine and punctual. The not-so-good: Once arriving in the new location and unloading the vehicle, the inspector sat and explained he was planning to phone in and”stop the clock” so that we can settle up. The movement took longer than expected so that I understood the amount will be greater than the quote. The Agency was told from both Guys and a Truck agent that the total could be $974.73. This included the complete transferring time, mileage fees, provides, taxation, etc.. He explained that which I was being billed for. I said OK, signed and initialed the contract, also gave him my American Express card. Following we both signed and the transaction has been finished, his telephone rang and it was seemingly the supervisor from Two Guys and a Truck stating the amount was incorrect. He explained something about the mathematics has been calculated wrongly (from TMaaT) along with the brand new cost was $1032.23. The company had already run charge bill for $974.73 and the contract had been signed. I contended this and stated that when the calculations were really incorrect, it had been a mistake completed by 2 Guys and a Truck, perhaps not by me. TMaaT had to have their error and bill me the sum I’d only paid, but not the brand new high sum. The inspector declared my first repayment and reran that my American Express for about $1032.23. I paid it under duress and then initialed the contract just because I was tired and wanted them from my home. HOW SHADY IS THAT????? Can this Bait and Switch? It is certainly Unethical and BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE!!!!! The gap was $56.50. How desperate and economical is Two Guys and a Truck anyhow??? Did I mention that they broke the glass from the doorway of my classic cabinet? They even paid a whopping $75 in compensation. Please inform me in which this may be fixed for $75? Overall, this was a FRUSTRATING, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I’ve attempted (unsuccessfully) to get somebody at TMaaT to go over and fix this mistake. They assert that the last amount billed was correct, despite the fact that the original cost calculations were true their error and their mistake. What a pity this corporation won’t take accountability for their activities.
The Austin franchise lately transferred me from Austin into Tucson Az..
But in the end of the afternoon I found that a lot space wasn’t being used (past two toes in addition to this load) all the way back at the truck. Then because it got very dark they stated they weren’t able to take all of the stuff. I whined but needed to leave a few really expensive stuff. Upon coming in Tucson they started the truck and a number of items had changed (from bad loading clinic ) and showed plenty of space for the material left behind. I whined to the organization but they wouldn’t move the remainder of the things making up a great deal of bogus excuses that will not hold water in a court of lawenforcement. However they’re banking in my not becoming a lawyer and such. I’m disabled or I’d return and rent a small truck and get it done myself but nevertheless they need to cover the transfer – they will not. They admitted prior to the transfer that a 26foot truck could take all of the things but now state they counseled two trucks (not accurate ).
I had them go a couple of things and nearly half of the furniture needed scuffs or has been simply plain broken.
We recently contracted with Two Guys and a Truck in Brighton, MI to maneuver my mom from our reduced degree for her new home 25 miles off. Our relocation day happened to be among the coldest times in the previous 50 decades. Drago and Austin came punctually, went directly to work after describing just what they were likely to perform and describing a few optional insurance bundles if something has been damaged in transit. They were considerate and never whined about the weather or that they would need to take every thing out the rear door, on the route that I shoveled from the snow, up the mountain across the end condominium adjacent to us and down the mountain from front to the street. They have been careful not to walk on our carpet with wet toes and immediately finished the loading procedure. In the brand new home they needed to take care of a double pair of heavy entrance doors and transfer the contents near 100 yards into the next floor flat (there had been an elevator, thank goodness). They worked stable and quickly (Two Guys and a Truck billed us at that moment, not the burden or space ). Mother’s possessions were treated with caution, nothing scratched, broken or dented. While they had been moving items into the flat, a third individual in Two Guys and a Truck ceased to observe the way the movement was progressing and asked us if everything was satisfactory. Following the movement Nancy in the workplace called us to observe how we believed that the movement had gone and asked for additional feedback. They made the transfer really simple for each of us while displaying concern and professionalism for our products and having a desire to make our movement so easy for us as you can. I am able to recommend Two Guys and a Truck out of Brighton without booking and they’ll be our primary call when needing movers again. Oh, and did they mention that they came in below budget to the quotation they gave us? Another movers we’ve contacted lent over twice the initial quote from 2 Guys and a Truck, and so that the really sum we paid was nearly 60% less then another.
The movers broke out a window, today I am at two weeks and still no phone of getting it repaired. I phoned the promises and the woman, Jenny, wrapped me up. Their supervisor, Taylor, does not even wish to provide help. I strongly do not recommend those movers. Stay away from these.
I was present when this moving business came to transfer my daughter a space of over 10 miles from a little, one-bedroom apartment into the next. The movers came on time and were cautious in the handling of my kid’s things. They were friendly and considerate however considerably slower than anticipated and ended up charging her an extra $200 in the end of the day. I wasn’t pleased about this and believed it was unjust, so I contacted the local office and the federal company office with my worries. Their answers were speedy, professional, and courteous. The overcharge was reimbursed to my daughter’s account. I applaud the company for frankly admitting the move happened too long and that things weren’t handled correctly in the close of the day. They did make it right, though, and what they transferred arrived safely. So, I would still suggest this moving business.
Hired Two Guys and a Truck to transfer me along with my 4 year-old son to a city house in precisely the exact same place in my parents place. I haven’t hired a moving company, but believed it’d be nice to get a switch to not stress and have my little quantity of furniture transferred safely.
To begin they had been an hour late. The movers generally were fine folks, and did the job. They did require more breaks then I’d anticipated though. This didn’t disturb me too much. They broke my floor lamp, and also put a large scratch at the wall in my new residence upstairs. In addition they dropped my armoire moving down a straight set of stairs into the cellar with 3 individuals, ripping the corner and leg where the door springs were attached, and then they ripped out together with the particle board. The movers requested me to inform them the worth of this, and they place it into their report. They left the armoire at the home to collapse in my son, and cat. I’ve been calling the company to inquire if they could eliminate it, along with the supervisor there might just make me feel worse. She asked for images to demonstrate that her movers did precisely the sort of harm to it that has been said. I sent her many images. Afterward she’s telling me that she wishes to send somebody over to attempt to fix it so that they don’t need to pay anything for this. Then she moves on to state that they are sending somebody to check whether it’s dangerous or not. It’s now been over a week and no one has come by. They were assumed to come by now, but have already told me that they can’t make it because of a power outage. My spouse was sitting at home waiting for them and still is. The supervisor blames the client and just repeats herself about their own business policies rather than attempting to understand the clients situation. Do not be tricked by their claim that they’ll replace whatever they hurt. Read the fine print ($250 deductible) and also be prepared for the supervisor to attempt to prevent carrying he blame for whatever if you employ this corporation. It’s the customers fault, since they ought to have known, in accordance with their manager.
According to recommendations from a number of friends who’ve used this company in the recent years, I opted to use this particular company for our relocation from town to a suburb 15 miles off. We had been moving out of the second floor of the old building (high ceilings, and therefore plenty of stairs) and had a couple thick pieces in the attic and cellar too. We’d transferred all of our boxes beforehand, so the guys had just big, heavy furniture to proceed.
They came on time and, after taking a look at what we needed to proceed, got right to work. They have been amazing. They had been cautious with that which, did no harm, and were quicker than I might have imagined. In the opposite end, they made certain to put everything precisely where I needed it, and completed the task in half the projected time.
I could not be more happy with my expertise, and would employ these men again unhesitatingly when the need arose.
We hired them to maneuver only our furniture (we’d moved out each of the boxes today earlier ), and if they showed up they stated that they would not go in sand! There was no questions asked people, they never seen the website before; we were just moving down 7 houses. On”go day” they drove into and then out, leaving us to fend for ourselves. We needed to be from the home daily, and scrambled to locate buddies in the last minute to help us get the big stuff out. If we can do it, then they certainly could have. Very unprofessional, we had been fortunate enough to have friends to assist us this day or we’d have been out much more cash to the new owners of our property.
We’ve attempted to deal with this differently but that did not work so now we’ll only send a warning out!!! We recently hired Two Guys and a Truck to take care of our relocation and believing we’ve moved over 10 occasions within our army career this was really upsetting and we’ve NEVER experienced this matter. The cost for this movement was approximately $3,000!!!! Before the move we repeatedly asked them if they desired to observe the home and gave them the exact particulars of our residence. They came at 9 am and my spouse was still there helping them load and unload after midnight. They ran from boxes fairly early in the afternoon and they started to wrap my containers without procuring the things inside. We did discuss this together, but no adjustments were made. (We had been up against a deadline because we were closing on our home.) Because they didn’t bring a large enough truck that they needed to unload it in the storage device and then return that caused delays and additional to the price. We saw many things simply set to the truck such as the massive bedroom mirror leaning up from a kitchen chair with no wrapped or protected at all. (We have loads of images including the interior of the truck immediately before driving off at which it looks like things have been thrown in if you need proof.) Because they didn’t complete loading everything in the home, my husband and I needed to pack and load several things such as bookcases at 6 am the following morning. When in the storage device (where they drifted ) I discovered my toilet towels and rugs in a pile on the ground. My bedroom furniture drawers weren’t wrapped and they’ve been piled on each other with metal racks leaning against them. The art work out of our residence is piled in the dresser drawers unwrapped and unprotected. Thus far we’ve discovered four broken images, but could only see up to now to the device.
We had been there the whole time and were inquiring about how it was being treated. No actual answer or concern. We’d been confident that they had it all covered and there would not be a problem completing the movement in 1 day. Since this didn’t occur the closing on the home had to be postponed and also my husband and I needed to cancel job to complete the move. We’d hired somebody to clean out the home ahead of the new owners taking ownership, but as my husband and I were still loading furniture and DRAWERS of things they’d missed the cleanup had to be cancelled. (We needed to take action after loading our furniture in my van and a trailer made from a neighbor.) We’ve tried to manage the organization and the owner stated he can’t repay some of our cash but will provide us a discount once they transfer it to our new residence. On account of how it was packaged and put into storage, I’m rather concerned about what we can discover as it arrives in our new residence. I feel like we’re being held hostage at this business because if we employ somebody else they’ll have the ability to state that another firm resulted in the harm. I figure the best I could do is supply warnings. We’ve got many images a few I’ve posted on Facebook and a few I’ve not. I’m truly heartbroken that this occurred. We now have many boxes of images, awards, memories and army memorabilia that I’m dreading have been ruined. We’ve never registered a complaint on a plumber in all of our motions. Yes, we’ve had things broken, but that sort of comes with the territory. This proved to be a really different problem and I hope we could save somebody else what we’ve gone through for this particular corporation.
Back in February, 2018 this firm moved my family possessions from storage in Orlando, Florida into Roswell, Georgia. They’d also packed and moved my home into the storage center previously. Everything was managed from begin to finish with this corporation. There is extensive damage to my own decor, etc., partly because of the packaging before storage and also due to the mishandling of furniture, etc.. The business held back furnishings with this part of the movement that was badly damaged for repairs at the Orlando region. (These products weren’t sent to me until late April.) The moving business rep sent someone to my house to evaluate the damages. Afterward , I sent the email into the business summarizing damages and asking to get the rest of the furniture so as to complete the transfer. I had been advised that the overall supervisor in Orlando, Mark Coffey, could just approve 3 things for fixing from the record ready by their own furniture repair adviser. I was also advised that I’d just”96 hours following the movement” to record harms. The movement has been completed in late April. Despite the fact that I’d bought $40,000 in replacement value policy, I still have not got any sort of compensation from this organization. In addressing this specific General Manager, I believed that he showed a terrific lack of consumer relations skills, a lack of ethics and a lack of honesty. You will find many promises made from the business which weren’t followed through. If I could offer this business less than one star, I’d.
Estimate was performed over telephone – nobody ever sent outside. Transferring crew asked additional aid and has been denied. Estimate was reduced, was charged double and proceed was pristine – things left in house and needed to employ another inspector to finish the move.
Very inadequate firm – horrible customer support!
We had a horrible experience for this business. We had a chest of drawers broken down the street at the top to base, four kitchen seats together with all the shirts made up, my kid’s classic bed scratched up, along with a few other small things they provided us $144 for each of the harms and merely to substitute the chest of drawers was 200 I’d not recommend them for any sort of transfer.
Three guys and a truck showed up over the years, 1 man feel sick and two more men showed up to replace him. An extremely significant piece of furniture needed to be moved out of the cellar and these men managed it with ease. All furniture has been well shielded. Nothing however coodoes for all these men. Good Move!
Don’t use this firm. They’re totally unprofessional, rude and completely unreliable. Our first time wad screwed up. Despite having a written quote with the right time, they informed us that our relocation has been scheduled for 1:45pm. We left this booking a month back and set a deposit down. We had been going out to the previous day of the rental. After a few back and forth forecasts , we finally receive their boss Calvin on the telephone and he informs us that he cannot lower our speed despite this mistake now costing us more money since it might take more. He insists to take $12 off a hour and we concur and invite him. 5 minutes after he’s his helper call us to cancel our relocation!!! As soon as we put him back to the line he’s got the guts to tell us he did not enjoy our tone and that he did not want his men coming to proceed us and us giving him a bad review. Not certain where he receives his logic out of or the way he believes leaving us totally outside in the cold is far better than a delayed movement. Furthermore, how are you really feeling insulted when the error is obviously your fault? This specific supervisor is immature and unprofessional and should not be operating a provider. Don’t use this firm. Especially not the only in Chamblee GA
I’m quite disappointed at the service I only obtained. For deficiency of phrases, two guys and a truck gets screwed me over. I’m likely to move to California (in MI) to get work over the upcoming few months or so. I made it quite clear to the firm I was moving away and had almost an specific count of everything I’d. I contacted two guys and a truck and also got a quotation for about $ 1,700. I called later on to get this confirmed once again. I’m a school student, I would never have accepted this support any farther if it had been some more of a price tag. Someone even came out to estimate me and gave me exactly the exact same worth of $1,700. Feeling reassured, I booked my flights, along with other corresponding transfers because of the big move. Upon booking, two men and truck eventually called me back along with my pickup date….the brand new quotation was $17,000. They apologized on the telephone because they’d miscalculated. I’m wondering how this kind of”reputable” company miscalculates by $15,000. They’d given me the quotation of $1,700 for approximately 3 months. I needed to get another firm to move my items (Pods), that billed $2,000. As I contacted them so late, believing 2 men and a truck needed my own things, my stuff would be coming long after I do. I’ve got a family. My loved ones, including my puppy, can’t live with no mattress, and essential utensils for a couple of weeks. I don’t have any option except to invest more money once I arrive at California to maintain my loved ones over until my materials arrives today. I planned my entire move about this business, while being educated about my $1,700 estimate MULTIPLE occasions, only to own them miscalculate by $15,000.
I hired two Guys and a Truck to move my furniture out of my house to a storage device at December 2017 and advised them I’d need there solutions to maneuver from their storage unit into some location in Buckhead after I discovered one. I contacted John Kupersmith through email, and telephone and never got a response as it was time for me to transfer from their storage. Since I didn’t hear out of Two Guys and A Truck, I hired a different corporation. As we moved into the storage device to start the move out I discovered several of these bits in the dining area that was ruined. The upper part of the Excelsior Design’s china cupboard had hurt to the surface on either side (bits of this veneer was ripped off) and also the perfect side reduced veneer was fully divided and has been peeling away. You can find nicks about the buffet along with the dining table. I sent these photographs on Mr. Kupersmith and have yet to listen to his or her firm about the fix or any type of repayment for the harm.
That is the reason the moving business has such a dreadful reputation. The expense to transfer was more than quoted, I mimicked the movers greater than most not understanding my furniture was ruined. Now I have a problem John Kupersmith isn’t ready to take the duty or be professional and react as a company should. I wouldn’t ever suggest them, solely about the unprofessional way they’re tackling the issue. I understand the furniture was thick and understand accidents happen but the way the business conducts themselves in this sort of scenario creates the distinction. I wasn’t anticipating a replacement, merely some kind of acknowledgement and price of repair. I shall know better next time and then use another firm, I’d suggest anybody considering using Two Guys and A Truck in the Collier Rd. place, rethink their choice.
I can not even offer this business one celebrity, they broke and ruined numerous products. I asked and paid for 2 big screen TV boxes nevertheless the movers didn’t even show up using the TV boxes, nevertheless I still had to cover them. They ruined my brand-new TV, I gave them a reception to proof that it was brand new, photographs of the harm they caused, talked with Jeremiah that the Ops Manager who directed me to think for a week that the thing would be replaced or repaired. . I never heard from him again before I contacted them just to determine that they provide .60 per pound that would be approximately $12.00 for the TV in question. The simple fact that I asked them to ship my TV’s and compensated for the boxes did not matter, they also threw in my head which I signed a record once the movers left that there wasn’t any harm, which can be obviously unreasonable (how do you inspect all of your possessions by the time the movers leave). I advise that you avoid this company in any way costs since they don’t care about your possessions and aren’t honest about the procedure to solve issues. I also needed my possessions packed onto a truck and kept for 2 days afterwards and the movers left sure I understood that the suggestion was only for the work that they completed on the transfer out day and that the suggestion on move in day was different.
In the quotation request to moving day, I have never felt more convinced of a seller choice. The group was professional, helpful and productive. The cost was much lower compared to other businesses and the support was higher. I’d suggest them to anybody needing assistance moving.
From everybody in the front office into the 3 guys who did the transfer, lee, mark, and brandon, thank you all for being so honsert, affectionate, and everybody behaving like professional’s. You arrived early, ended early. And saved me money.all of those items have been in great sharp, following your business was thu.. Thank you to get a such a stress free move. Keep up the fantastic job you’re all doing. And if ever anybody asked me, that they ought to use to get a plumber, I am going to tell everybody, do not use anybody but two guys and a truck
The movers that were shipped out ruined one of my things. I had been provided settlement less than 1/8th of exactly what the merchandise is worth or not one in any respect. The movers ruined a $470.00 oversized bean bag(manufacturer: Sumo, version: Titanium) if trying to transfer down it. They didn’t wrap it in cellophane of a moving blanket since they did other products. They tried to throw it off another story balcony so as to bypass carrying it out. The pay ripped as they had been hoisting it on the side and the foam inside spilled out anywhere. They did not even wash all up it! The movers promised me I’d be paid for the damage to my house. The merchandise is destroyed and unusable so that I desired full reparation. They took the thing together following the move and said they would be in touch. I waited a week and had no reaction form them so I phoned them and initially they explained that since the thing didn’t have a cover on it that they wouldn’t be compensating me. I advised them that was unacceptable as well as the agent stated he’d call me back when he conferred with his manager. I waited a day for a different call which I didn’t get so I phoned myself back. They rep told me that they were eager to provide me $51.00 total that is .60 pennies per pound for my own loss. I advised them that was unacceptable and requested to talk to a supervisor. Again none have been available. I had been told that I will be reached again later in the afternoon but I wasn’t. I mean to keep following up till I achieve my desired result.
From the start, everybody with this particular company was very professional and considerate. While I did have smaller things packaged and proceeded, for the large part, Two Guys and a Truck has been contacted to transfer the bigger items or a local movement. The movers were very effective and even placed the things where I needed them in the new location, in addition to placing up the furnishings. The movers were also a fantastic group of individuals too. I certainly recommend this business!
Dont anybody use this moving business, they’re unprofessional, rude, dishonest, they don’t care about clients property or whatever encircles their property. Nothing about these is specialist, I had to call supervisor many times since the movers didn’t no whar they had been performing. . Nothing had been wrapped or coated pulls dropped out, I believed I needed to babysit them I shouldnt need to babysit specialist movers. As soon as I introduced my damaged things I kept getting the run around… maybe not specialist
WARNING!!!! Worst experience I have had and I’ve used moving businesses often previously. Not only was that their quote very off that cost me $$. Never allow this company your credit card info. The men that came to proceed, were quite inexperienced and youthful took a very long time and squandered time smoking as well as URINATED from the stairwell of my building until they left. Disgusting. The majority of my furniture needed nicks and scratches. Shelves were lost together with a busted leg. Direction is economical and unresponsive. Notably Marc and Justin. Repairs were dreadful and required 40 days. And no compensation has been provided. Business office has been no assistance. NIGHTMARE. Two guys and a truck destroyed all of my furniture. BEWARE!!
This firm made my anxiety level go to the max. They came late because I had been told that the sooner move was longer than expected. Then it took approximately 4 hours to package my two bedroom flat. It needed to be kept over the weekend in their lace of company because my storage as closed. When I eventually got my things unpacked in my new residence, 3 glass bits to tables weren’t there. And then my brand new dining room table has been ruined. I called a few times to eventually obtained my glass bits which happened to be abandoned to the truck. I inquired about the appropriate method to report the damage to your own table. They have the images of this damages.I have predicted over 5 times and I’m either told somebody will get in contact with me or that individual will phone me back. Obviously I have not gotten any phone calls nor paperwork in the email or even an email. I wouldn’t recommend this corporation.
Couldn’t be more disappointed with this business (we employed the one established in Burlington, ON). They ruined our dresser by dropping it down a flight of stairs and fully damaged our baby daughter’s dresser past repair. They also ruined the house we were going out scuffing the walls and placing holes through them. The movers were totally unprofessional and careless. Making things worse their customer support after the truth was dreadful. Their solution is to get their very own repairman mend our broken walls and furniture but we’d need to pay a $150 deductible. Are you kidding me ? Following your movers’ neglect? Horrendous experience will be certain that you warn any friends and relatives from using them later on.
The group from Charlottesville came on time and did a wonderful job moving us in the surface of a mountain not far from the Skyline Drive into the hardly above sea level of the Northern Neck of Virginia. The guys were super careful with our possessions; nothing came broken or in disrepair. They have been exceptionally courteous and hard working. The afternoon was quite hot and the humidity was average ugh to get Tidewater, but these men were real workhorses! Additionally, although the moving-out group was hard at the office, the other gentleman from Two Guys came to test their progress; to ensure things were moving smoothly, and also to determine whether we had any queries or concerns. Frankly, it blew us away that he came all of the way up the mountain to test items! Fantastic firm!!! (Please be aware, however, both Men and a Truck is a franchise company and they’re not all equally outstanding. Check around!)
Damaged and filthy furniture following the transfer. It took 6 hours for 3 guys to maneuver less than 2,000 sq. ft. house where just big items left. No boxes or little furniture even chairs needed to be transferred. Traveling distance 3 mph. They billed insurance, but didn’t compensate for the harm.
The transfer was disaster.Movers were rather inefficient, did not have any power to lift, they had been careless about our home and furniture, so they pulled all the things and you will find several damages. They ruined my door to garage fairly badly without dents, stains and gap. They broke my chest mirror foot and a single side board, which isn’t matching today. Did several scratches to walls and doors. They proved quite slow in their job using their own sweet time, Only had two sofa sets, two beds, 1 batter, 3 beds, two TVs, two exercise chairs and weights together with some small stuff and they took eight hours to proceed. Won’t recommend to anybody.
WOW! Phenomenal support! So impressed! Mine has been a 3rd floor movement. Not a simple job but the gentlemen that moved my possessions were extraordinary. They took such excellent care of my items because they were their very own. I am so impressed and grateful for the service provided by the group from Two Guys and a Truck. I highly, highly recommend this firm. Fantastic company, really honest/considerate employees and very reasonable pricing.
I am unable to even start to explain how amazing our experience with two Men & a Truck was! Mike and Carlos were Wonderful! So quite respectful helped us when we couldn’t figure out some things, and also to place it in quite easy terms, WENT THE excess MILE, to be certain everything was absolutely perfect! I strongly recommend this firm! They even did extra things which weren’t originally intended!
My moving team was outstanding, on time, very respectful, and beneficial. My proceeded went really smooth and hurt free. I would strongly suggest them for any movement.
Due to’Two Guys and a Truck’ (St. Catharine’s) my parents’ downsizing in the home to condominium went easily. The business was specialist on the telephone and their quotation came quite near the true price! Our movement was quite complex with two shed areas and moving into another city with complete packaging over two weeks. The movers were courteous and productive. The care they chose to moving and packaging the products were outstanding. I would recommend this firm to anybody who’s moving! I’d certainly use them again.
We really had 4 guys and two trucks move us and we were VERY happy. Our team of Shane, Marlon, both Patrick and Dustin in the Lincoln, NE workplace weren’t just professional but were sort also. We felt like they had been treating our items as though they were their very own and once I inadvertently gasped when discovering something that I had not seen in quite a while, their initial concern was that they’d busted something. I enjoyed their concern. They definitely love their jobs and each other since we noticed lots of teasing going on among them because they worked and we all saw it gratifying (if you’re able to count a transfer as pleasurable ). Thanks again guys!! You all deserve a boost!!! We wouldn’t be afraid to use these men again, and when anyone is hesitating with them, do not! Phone and make your transfer much simpler!
Tired of the extra travel cost (=a hr fee ) for doing absolutely nothing but forcing into a place. In addition, the gas fee that was 12 percent of the complete invoice (includes travel cost ) regardless of how long or short the driveway. Sounds as though they are employing some creative bookkeeping to eliminate dual charging people and jacked my price up an extra $200+. Pure rip-off and crooks and I would not ever use or recommend them ever!!!
I wished to write for you to inform about the fantastic service and occupation done by Terry and Tony along with a third individual who only began that afternoon. I utilized Two Guys and a Truck to transfer my girl into a new flat. They have been instant and have to work straight away. Each of the furniture has been moved with caution. They even got my daughter moved to her new flat in almost no time in any way. I wouldn’t be afraid to utilize Two Guys and a Truck later on. Money well spent!
We employed a local business here in Illinois known as two guys and a truck. They have been on time in coming to the home, in addition to considerate, respectful, and professional from begin to finish. I would strongly recommend for anybody else to use their solutions.
We reliable Two Guys and A Truck together with our relocation and it was a dreadful experience. The movers were diverted and slow walked on the movement which raised the bill, and they did not finish the task. They did a poor job packaging furniture at the storage device, didn’t divide a few furniture together with pads, and ruined furniture from the procedure. Neither the regional Charleston office, nor even the corporate division will react to letters or calls. We’ll certainly not be utilizing 2 Guys and A Truck for future moves.
After having a great previous encounter using the Sacramento franchise, my spouse and I chose to make use of the local office to get the latest move. What transpired was among the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
Early in the evening, the direct inspector got hurt. While I apologize and recognize that these things occur on tasks, it was treated unprofessionally since he essentially walked off the project free of communication. Both remaining movers were brand new to the organization and did not understand how to transfer any of their furniture in the house. This led to a movement that took over 9 hours compared to the initial estimate of 5-6 hours.
We had a number of items of furniture ruined during the transfer, such as a handmade book shelf which my spouse and I had assembled to our son, a classic desk, along with our bedroom collection. Generally the difficulties were because of absence of maintenance and what appeared to be too little experience. The movers also ruined lots of walls and other surfaces throughout the transfer to the new residence. Lots of smaller objects were destroyed in transit too.
We expressed our concerns with the business and finally obtained a little reduction. On the other hand, the reduction was nowhere close to the expense of fixing the damaged things and did not appropriately accounts for the occupation taking more than it ought to get by their own entrance. Handling the business was hard and we always felt disrespected through the practice of attempting to get this solved.
I was not expecting a great movement, however the amount of problems and too little communication were far beyond what I’d consider sensible. I am not normally in the tradition of posting testimonials, however we had such a bad experience which I felt compelled to warn others folks. If you are contemplating using this company for transferring, I’d search very tough to locate alternatives. If anybody has any particular questions regarding my experience, I would be delighted to elaborate to assist you create a better choice than we ever did.
I couldn’t imagine a worse business to invest your cash with. I’ve moved many times within the past for many years because of my job and have used many different businesses, all of which were great experiences. Two Guys and a Truck has been the complete reverse. The movers ruined my house in numerous areas and didn’t point out some of it and that I needed to deliver it to their attention until they’d document anything. The follow up from direction is nearly nonexistent. I needed to telephone and email many days and it required several days or even weeks to find a follow up. I now have to take off work a few days and lose salary so as to adapt their fix seller. My transfer was a month ago and I still do not have my fixes done and need to eliminate more days off work to your drywall repairs and still don’t possess the light fixture scheduled for fix. Management can do nothing so far as reimbursement and essentially says”well it might have been worse so sorry about the luck we do not compensate for some of our errors.
This was the worst moving experience I’ve ever had. It was a 3 room proceed. I had been quoted 6 hours with them packing my things. I made the decision to package and bypass this step and price, but it still took them 8 hours to maneuver us??? It had been just 1/2 mile from 1 place to another. Now for the record of harm: They gouged our 1 month old leather sofa. The scraped and nicked the entrance door to our new house seven days. (It might need to be repainted and stuffed.) They broke or higher end exercise bicycle, They scratched and nicked our exercise weights. (essentially anything I did not package (or could not pack due to dimensions ) they were able to twist. I watched them dip two heaps of here carts on the floor. Breaking thing s in 1 box and inducing a nick at the side of a night stand. They did at the end just bill me for 6.5 hours. Still the first quote together doing the packaging was 6 hours. I had been told after writing down the damages we’d discovered until they left. (which were not all) that the manager would call me the following day. That did not happen either. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!! THEY DON”:T CARE ABOUT YOUR STUFF, JUST YOYR MONEY!!!
We got 3 men one was in practice. I’d love to state they wrap and maintenance for you possessions….the new man was attracting in my suede dining room seats. . .uncovered at the center of a downpour and it seemed that he used my seat to pay his mind and walked beneath a downspout. …I had been given a half an hour off my charge of $145 a day. I’ve 2 damaged seats into my $1497 lovely dining collection. Chad in their workplace called me and today is apparently unreachable. Nevertheless that they wasted no time charging us $585…that I wouldn’t use or advocate this business again.

My parents had been going from state and opted to offer me a few parts of furniture; a few sofas, older fish tank (vacant ( no water), a sofa chair, filing cabinet, and kitchen table. I made the decision to employ a mover so that I did not need to waste an full Saturday or Sunday and then find a friend to assist. The transfer is approximately 40 miles and an hour of driving from origin to destination. Two Guys and a Truck lent me$345 for your transfer initially.
The movers showed up early and that I was informed by my parents which these movers obviously couldn’t care less, were bumping into woodwork and walls with no care in the whole world. In addition to that they accepted their time. Then I found out afterwards that my parents spat these 2 men, hoping that perhaps this could cause them to become a little more attentive. Nope. Couch cushions were thrown on the yard and driveway in my home and all things, I think there were none and 8 were all that awkward or heavy, were just thrown in to my property. They could not even be troubled to just take 5 minutes to set the cushions on the sofa or something. They then took his time frightening in their own truck, trapping the time farther, simply to notify us that they’d gone through the first quote and the new cost will be $400 rather than $350. Therefore a project that has been literally supposed to shoot three hrs, with 75 percent of the being driving, was badly estimated. I did the mathematics later with Google Maps and recognized their estimator had abandoned around 20 minutes to your movers to load, and then 20 seconds for them to unload. The clock began when these men left their dock, and stopped after they returned. Nevertheless, they spent more than half a hour loading on the truck alone and I am supposing they’d to have ceased for lunch or anything also. And they admitted a hint that they clearly did not love (I found this out after the truth and that likely irked me the most). I know that a quote is a quote, however in my own view, he obviously underestimated to find the job.
My parents had the exact same business quote out their out of country go, and fortunately went with a different. They advised me their expertise with both Guys and a Truck estimator was a entire joke, more expensive, and attempted selling them around the simple fact that their firm won’t compete with other businesses on long range movements since Two Guys and a Truck utilizes smaller trucks. My parents only finished their relocation with a different company, employing precisely the exact same size trucks as Two Guys and a Truck, saving a couple million, and educated me exactly how proficient their movers were. If only I knew what I understood today. Perhaps folks have had pleasant experiences with this business, but that one left a real sour taste in my mouth and that’s the reason I chose to write an overview, something I seldom do. Additionally, I uploaded a photograph of my living space following these men left. At the time my son got a kick from this chaos. I’d think twice if you moved to seek the services of this unprofessional business. Maybe they did not care since my transfer was not a $8k movement like my parents either.
Arrived in time, clarified go, never ceased moving things.
Fantastic shifting of heavy furniture. They were speedy and considerate, moved just 20 minutes off. They simply moved heavy things, no boxes.
I have an extremely tight program and Two Guys and a Truck made me a transfer date for less than a week after I phoned them, just when I needed it. Three quite considerate and expert movers showed up on time and obtained my relocation done in under three hours with no harm to anything. I’d suggest them to anybody going.
This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had. The client services was and I still missing. My very pricey entertainment centre was busted and the corporation will not help to have it repaired or refund my money. I filled out a promise and nobody contacted me for two weeks. Once I left contact with Taylor, I had been told my claim had been missing and asked if I could send my backup. After complying with all his orders and images of harm, I wasn’t contacted for many days. It required several mails and requested to find information for a manager and corporate amount. This information was not provided but that I had been impressed with a brush away email. I haven’t been more offended or angry with any provider especially considering I had been a return client. I looked in to lawsuit but it could cost you to take them to court then it is to purchase a new entertainment centre. That is something that this business counts on. I say to everybody, please beware of the business since they don’t care.
Both guys that came into our house were very skillful and enjoyable to be around. They took good care of our furniture without any damages. They could maintain the drawers in each of the dressers and wrap them in plastic wrap to maneuver them. Same with freezer and frig. This type of boon and time saver!!
They worked fast and were considerate of their cash I’d be spending a hour. They worked nonstop except to get a 30 min lunch (that they made sure to deduct that 30 mins out of what I owed)
They had all of the equipment (blankets, wrap, straps, dollies, etc) along with also the total was well worthwhile!
They came on time and finished the task in less time than anticipated. They even moved my piano effortlessly!!
Ask questions regarding pick-up and fees and shipping upfront. That is based on my own experience:
1. Ask the number of hours daily pickup and delivery, may be more than two weeks, not mentioned at the quote
2. Weekend rate for Thursday thru Sunday goes, no mention of the in the quote
3. Ask complete disclosure of all Probable Choices
4. Ask to Get follow-up telephone confirming contract arrangement Before the relocation
We moved out of our house of 23 decades, the very first home that we had assembled and elevated our big family there. To say we’d gathered a great deal of things is the understatement!! Our movement had 4 trucks and 9 powerful guys. The guys were organized, attentive, and quite valuable and comprehensive. We had been totally filled, hauled 70 miles off, also unloaded IN 1 DAY! The business project supervisor stopped by to inspect the progress and workmanship. Our team looked for strategies to assist us. They’re cheerful and enjoyable to get in our dwelling. We particularly appreciated assistance from furniture bedroom and positioning setup at the new residence. They didn’t depart until they understood we were content with the way that they left our items. It was a really favorable experience.
I had an superb experience! Tyler and Hill were courteous and worked really quickly and economically! They had been organized and finished the unloading and loading in a timely way! I would strongly recommend them to anybody going!
I had a terrific experience with the business office workers too. Only made a telephone call and understood within 15 minutes once the transfer would occur and the price. This was the easiest move I’ve ever produced because of both the office staff as well as both movers!!! I will suggest the company to anybody who wants a mover!
I attempted to establish a transfer date through the net on 6 Dec 2015. I waited till 10 Dec 2015…(4 DAYS! ) ) Rather than heard anything by the business, although I got two mails from Emily Cooper. I contacted somebody else about the 10th who gave me instant feedback. I proceed Monday.
I wouldn’t recommend!
All of the information over about pickup/delivery date, times, respectively will be false cause nobody ever contacted mepersonally.
We had been going 3/4 of our family out of Michigan to Arizona and had scheduled a transfer with another firm three weeks prior to the transfer. In calling them a few occasions, they had never advised a company for us, even by the contract date. We predicted Two Guys and a Truck to a Wednesday afternoon, and Friday Morning, Sam and James showed up on time, and how quite closely shrink wrapped the furniture, and rich what we needed to shoot on the truck. I’d Sam’s telephone number so that we can stay connected about the excursion to AZ.. Few minor glitches, so to speak. Our things were obese, so instead of having us leave any things in Michigan,” Sam orchestrated a wider and lighter automobile and Lots of Amazing workers there moved All the things on the milder truck to your trip. Close OK City, Sam underwent a tire blow out and gave us a telephone. Then one has been repaired, the went somewhat farther, and undergone another one. Taking tires off on a brand new truck and placing retreads wasn’t the best company practice for the Business. But they approved all the new retreads and the rest of the trip was uneventful. They arrived in our new house [he picked up Another guy in Phoenix] and that which was off loaded and put in it’s place in under four weeks. They eliminated the shrinkwrap and made sure that everything was nice until they left. We’re totally Delighted with their maintenance of our house, and the efficacy they revealed. The scheduler was superb in helping out us and if we ever be in a position to advocate a plumber, we Won’t hesitate to strongly urge Two Guys and a Truck. And NOTHING was ruined in the movement!!!!
Beware when you’ve got good furniture. . If damaged it’ll take weeks to be paid for your damages. They’re only guaranteed for 1000.00. Think twice in the event that you have antiques or a portion of a kind pieces. They shook my seat, I slept for 3 weeks along with my bed on the ground while they began paying the promise. They had the audacity to attempt to replace my 3400 mattress using a $500 buck partical board bed..even along with my first receipts. . It was just once I showed up unannounced in the offices once the owner needed to be there that I obtained a test. The supervisor made up an excuse and left the office..Only following my fiancé pointed from that the harm, the 1 inspector confessed to the harm. . dishonest. . In the event you apply just one in Orlando Florida be sure you’ve got insurance. . I won’t ever utilize two guys along with a f@#ked up truck again. .
I wouldn’t recommend that anyone use this particular franchise of two Men & a Truck. I’ve had previous encounters with this business without any complaints, but don’t use THE TROY FRANCHISE!!! I transferred into early July with 2 Men & a Truck — Troy franchise (1250 Rankin Dr, Troy, MI 48083). On the transfer afternoon that the 3 movers showed up a bit late to evaluate the things to be transferred. Approximately 1/2 hour after the neighborhood supervisor showed up and seemed at all out things and suggested that the staff ought to have the ability to move each of the things in two heaps, at greater 3. While the men were still loading the initial haul, we left a remark that more would fit on the vehicle, but have been told to mind their own company, they’ve been doing so for decades, allow them to perform their job. We ought to have understood that following the 2nd load (this burden too might have been improved, however, we said nothing), that this will be a very long moment. It was already a drizzly humid afternoon, or so the weather in addition to the men not functioning well with us ought to have been a sign, but that I was still holding out that we’d move everything at the 3rd load. When we return to the 3rd load, then the men haphazardly loaded the truck and also (although the truck was so poorly packaged, they might have easily fit everything from the load), they suggested that they weren’t able to fit any longer and that this was their very last load, they had another task to reach. This was combined with the opinion that everything wouldn’t fit in the new home or garage, so that they weren’t likely to transfer it. I had a psychological breakdown now. And my spouse known as the principal office. Following some (not quite agreeable )’conversation’ with the most important office, the group agreed that they would go back to get a 4th load to pick up the rest objects. Remember , it was coming rush hour, and were spending these men by the summertime, so another load on rush hour could readily add 2 hours on the transfer fee (which it did). So be it, ” I said, I want everything transferred from the rental home and to our brand new bought house now, no ifs, ands, or buts. Nonetheless, in the practice of being advised to try it, they determined that they would pile the things at the garage so crucially, which I couldn’t unload and arrange the things by myself and wanted assistance. They also believed this was a’cool idea’ to place our living room sofa on the base of the heap IN THE GARAGE!! After whining about this, the supervisor agreed to ship over a couple of guys the subsequent weekend to help me revamp your doorway, place the sofa in the home, and then reload the doorway so everything might match WHICH IT DID. But it was already too late (because I had been told) to file a complaint that the sofa back (fabric ) was torn and that 3 pieces of furniture had been scratched pretty bad, because the time limitation to file this Sort of damage criticism is seven days in the transfer date, which was seven days. They did nothing. I wouldn’t recommend that anyone use this particular franchise of two Men & a Truck. I’ve had previous encounters with this business without any complaints, but don’t use THE TROY FRANCHISE!!!
I had a horrible experience with this organization. I’m still hoping to find several problems addressed and also my move was in the end of June (22/25/27). I had been supposed to get my whole house filled, yet if they left my residence, many things were unpacked, the majority of the boxes were half empty, and a number of the things in the boxes weren’t wrapped, such as breakable products. They also broke two items while packaging, which were still not been addressed. I needed to unpack each box and then repack all of them. I’ve been attempting to find this fee reimbursed, which has been consented for, but has still not be reimbursed. They arrived back after stating they’d refund this quantity and said that I now owe them much more money, despite owning a signed invoice showing a balance because to some particular sum, which really is significantly less than that which I had been billed. In addition, I have been attempting to have damages cared for, which can be extensive because of them seriously wrap all of my furniture and images. Nearly every photograph frame is broken, in addition to nearly every bit of furniture. I’ve been back and forth hoping to have things taken care of, however I keep getting laid off. Stay away from working with this firm.
Appointment was set/confirmed for 8:30am – obtained telephone around 8:45’m saying movers didn’t appear for work and we’d be bumped to a after dinner movement. The entire movement was determined by getting transferred before dinner. I asked to get a reduction because of inconvenience and has been refused. Movers showed up approximately 12:30pm with a significant attitude. . .they weren’t happy they needed to perform the next move that same moment. We signed for support to begin at 12:45pm and movers jumped to have a smoking break and then speak on phone for a quarter hour. Among the very first pieces of furniture that the direct mover/driver picked up was a part of my office desk which broke as he had been carrying it out. He showed me exactly what happened and essentially blamed it about the standard of the desk. I was mad and confronted him on not going anything for 15 minutes and after he eventually did he dropped his desk! He explained”I will leave if you need me too”! He told me”I only need my things [EDIT] transferred. . .please”! He jumped to transfer a couple more bits then called into his office and also QUIT on the telephone!!! Very awful situation as a portion of my furniture was first in his own truck and then he was planning to depart. His co employee talked him into shooting our furniture off and placing it in our own garage. . .thank goodness. He got at both MEN and TRUCK car and proceeded to push from our neighborhood in a rate of 50 MPH. . .speed limitation is 15 MPH. I spent more time on the telephone talking to supervisors than movers invested in my home loading truck!! Manager stated he’d find out another crew to move us. . .which he finally called back and stated he’d one and could come out soon….no discount given! After giving it a thought and talking with my wife we decided to find some friends/family to finish the move independently. I’d say that this was the most time WORSE customer support experience I ever had!!!!! I wouldn’t advocate TWO MEN along with a TRUCK to anybody even though they provided a free transfer!!! Oh yea. . .when I request when they’d come out to fix my desk their boss never called me backagain.
We’d employed 2 M&AT a few days before when we lived in another nation and our transfer from Atlanta into our rental home in AL couldn’t have been simpler. Our problems began when we moved out of our lease into our bought home. Even though the movement was under a half mile we all nevertheless wanted our possessions transferred professionally and desired them to arrive in 1 piece. That which we obtained from two M&AT was far from professional, our furniture was not wrapped or coated leading to severe harm to the cloth & thighs of a $30,000 Ico Parisi bundle. Now the mover hasn’t been useful. I am certain they’re standing behind their’limitiations’ that is to fix the harm done to the thing in a repairer of the own choosing, but since this is an extremely collectible assortment of furniture that the value comes from each of the 3 bits fitting. They explained that they wouldn’t be chasing these fixes by using their insurance (possibly they have such a bad record of keeping their clients possessions protected?) They might be spending out of pocket and also deny to keep the integrity of this worth of their furniture by just fixing the damaged objects. This has the consequence of never being a fitting set of furniture plus that I have 2 choices. 1. To pay from my own pocket to get the 3red piece retrieved to fit both damaged objects two. To accept that this furniture is most likely only worth 20 percent of its initial price. I am also worried that if those items are mended and I Don’t Have Any say in who fixes them, and the value will be considerably impacted even more as they Have to Be mended by exceptionally skilled craftsmen That Are familiar with this Sort of furniture and know its allure about the glovbal auction marketplace
Don’t use two guys and a truck in the McFarland Alpharetta Georgia place or really anywhere in the event that you’re able to help it. I’d give them no stars if I could. They don’t even deserve 1 star. We had been a repeat client and handled so badly. They kept our furniture for 3 extra days without permission and needed us to pay an inflated sum until they’d send our furniture. Many, many damages however we obtained minimal compensation because we didn’t buy the elongated insurance for $450! The damage was over $500. Furniture and chairs thrown at the truck not carefully wrapped or stacked.Movers didn’t bring food or water so were worn out by noon. Sat around for two hours for lunch that we purchased and paid for your meals and the hours that they sat around. They have the truck stuck for 1 1/2 hours that we also paid for. Due to the inadequate service and application of the time, they couldn’t complete in 1 afternoon and proceeded to take our furniture with no permission to sit, where we were not advised, for an extra 3 days. This was not discussed as a potential when quoting our occupation. I contacted corporate believing they’d wish to understand how a franchise is currently utilizing their title and got no aid whatsoever over a three week period. They known as the franchise to speak to us. The franchise reacted that we had been lying (naturally ) and proceeded to tell us what actually happened although management wasn’t there. They’re such an unprofessional business even corporate. It had been among the most frustrating experience I’ve ever experienced. Should you care anything on your furniture, your wallet (since the end cost is never what you’re quoted in order that they can receive your company ), your sanity or your own spine (we had to sleep on the ground for 3 nights since they retained 1/3 of their furniture to get 3 times ) We did get a small refund a few weeks afterwards because it just took two hours to unload the final of their furniture not 4 that we’d been made to cover before they’d unload. Don’t USE Two MEN along with a TRUCK. You won’t get”Movers who care” therapy nor any restitution in case you experience how we did. They don’t care. Period.
If I could give this business a 0 I’d. The worst. Two of those four employees complained to a delay in cover because our transfer was not an immediate transfer (our belongings was being stored till we might pay on our new home ) after which they suggested they may not complete the task. They dropped furniture and boxes in the front of us. They did harm to nearly all of our furniture. Packed lots of our breakables collectively in a heap on some sheets of this paper they use rather than wrap breakables independently. They packaged thick breakables along with more fragile breakables making them break. They can not locate any of our things, such as our 60″ TV, amounts, bedding and other substances. We’ve got a whole lot of missing things and likely more than we even know at the moment, we’ll most likely realize something that overlooking weeks from now if we go to search for this and recognize it’s not there. There’s not any way to tell for certain because they didn’t do a list when loading our things and neglected to weigh among those trucks. Two boxes of things that is not ours was sent to us and hasn’t been recovered from the business. I discovered CDs within our outside grill. Length of boxes sprinkled. They packaged unwrapped pictures in a significant cupboard box with fishing rods, box of decorations, curtain rods, cabinet poles and other items causing harm to them. They did not have a list for me to register up and did not weigh among those trucks. They’ve made no harm sheet along with my touch on it. As soon as I contacted corporate I had been told”franchises would be their own entities and also create the last choice” about some payoff to our losses. I’d like to no assurance at the”Two guys and a truck” title. I certainly felt that they were NOT”movers who maintenance”. Not only can I never recommend this organization but I’ll make certain to talk about my dreadful experience. Moving is stressful enough as it is but coping with this business made it a nightmare.
The movement was projected to take 1 afternoon, it also fourteen days. They left the house a wreck, with wrap paper loose on a lot of floors, I’d requested to eliminate the draps in the bedroom, so they eliminate just 1 pair of curtains and left another from the home. As it was time to transfer the things from the home to another place, the boxes have been any where not focus was placed to with the boxes in the perfect room. They caused harm to the exterior property and acted as though it had been nothing. They have been dashed and disagreeable.
We had the worst experience with the Business in our current move. From the beginning, office service was rude and misinformed. On the other hand, the sales contact (Scott) promised all our concerns were cared for. The movers showed up with no advised of these queries Scott had apparently addressed and subsequently charged us for the professional services Scott had promised were contained in the quotation. The middle supervisor, Edy, spoke nicely when we wanted to speak to him but never return to us concerning the rude worker he promised to explore. Last charges were lower compared to the quote but there wasn’t any descriptions/ line things supplied for the fees. The moving team ensured that the office would call back us about the furniture that was damaged in addition to the line items and the initial weight of these trucks but there isn’t any answer yet even after 10 days of their transfer. The team was complete was quite nice and considerate except for among those four that had been really doing the paperwork. With this much to proceed, we attempted to remain out of how far as possible and moved with the stream to keep our sanity however we will not recommend their services to anybody. Together with the unwanted surveys sent back together with the worries, nobody has bothered to return to us.
I called two guys and a truck back in 2001 at Dewitt Michigan. Worst service ever. Lazy!! The proprietor showed up since I called to complain. He wished to drop all of my things on the sidewalk and depart.
Still pissed and it is 2014. I truly don’t believe I need to need to compose 350 characters to receive my point across about lousy support. Awful support. Awful support. Awful support. Awful support. Awful support. This site is irritating me.
I recently reserved Two Guys to allow me to pack up and move my left handed things into storage, since I’d already moved into AZ.. The three man team that showed up in my location was slow, obviously did not wish to be there, spent a great deal of time on the telephone, and was really unorganized. In the long run, I had been charged nearly $900 to allow them to maneuver 1 wooden dining room seat, 1 cabinet, two big stuffed creatures, a child size rocking horse, and 12 boxes that they packaged (one box has been nothing much more than the magazine rack that they put from the box), plus two bookshelves and a dresser which were not supposed to move in the first location. It required them 2.5-3 hours to load those products. . .not package anything, mind you. . .load it to your truck. I eventually had to ask them to quit drifting about and wrap around the project so I did not pay them overtime. They did not even get the 6 already packed boxes that I had prepared to go. Even strangers who watched them said the team seemed slow and laborious. As soon as I spoke to the excellent manager at the workplace, he promised me he would start an investigation and think of an answer. Never heard back from him again. Because if the business, I needed to employ a different moving team (that DID complete in 3 hours) and likely alienated a few friendships because I had to plead for assistance. The whole experience was a tragedy. I strongly suggest NOT using this organization.
They didn’t call prior to coming in the morning as I was advised. The exact same movement took 3 hours and 15 minutes each year using a longer space. This season it took 6 hours. Employees were careless, lazy, sloppy. They ruined the walls and stair rail. Moved big items independently without gear or help from one another. Needed to be informed how to move things around tight corners. Took fractures, disappeared. Ran down their battery in the initial stop and required one hour to find a leap and return to the drop off site. Employed my CLOTHES drier the morning of this transfer. When I tried to use it in the new home it had been busted. Called and registered a complaint. Someone came out and looked at it and said he’d be back together with me in two days to get a settlement. Never called. When I phoned I was told that they phoned a local appliance shop and did research online and wasn’t accountable for what occurred. Whether it was them, me, or a different moving business, this dilemma might have happened. Refused to repair or replace the drier.
The movers were good, but the office team is in which you fail miserably. They way under anticipated my movement and directed me to feel that my transfer could cost $275, as it ended up costing me over $500. I feel as though I had been cheated and duped by your business. That you intentionally underestimated my movement, realizing it would take considerably longer than a hour and half an hour. I would never use this company again and I’ll Make Certain to inform all my buddies via social websites to remain far away from two guys and a Trick, excuse me, Truck.
These men couldn’t even have a bed apart and of course the dreadful customer service recieved from office employees. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Owner simply made excuses how they couldn’t be ready for odd things (a stripped thread is odd in a movement?) . They had a lengthy list of items they wouldn’t do. They have to have lots of company because they sure do not care about their clients.
I utilized Two Guys and a Truck/Tampa and that I had an excellent experience. They showed up on time, they were quick, courteous and attentive. My furniture has been transferred without a scrape. I had them help me package too and when I’d stood still They’d have had me wrapped and boxed.I also recommended them to friends who’ve used them and also were Pleased with the move along with the cost.
Considering that the moving firms that my friends/family advocated were already booked, I attempted 2 Guys and a Truck.
The rate had been $25 – $35 per hour greater than the seasoned movers and required two times so long, in contrast to 3 additional adventures. This was clarified as the”selling characteristic” of 2 Guys and a Truck, saying that they add extra precautions to make sure safe and damage free freight arrival at the final destination. . .odd, because they broke any furniture in the procedure (to be honest, they’re paying to get it mended ).
The quoted quote was 12-13 hours, but fell when I stated that all boxes could be packaged and at the garage awaiting, and all of furniture disassembled, without a re-assembly needed. The afternoon before, a household member insisted that they help and leased a 26 foot self function truck. We stuffed the Whole truck with boxes along with some other remaining big things (except furniture) and transferred it ourselves. This wasn’t calculated at the quote, which means you would believe, less material. . .less time.
The following morning Two Guys and a Truck came and Started to work. Periodic checks on advancement appears discouraging, but guessed there’s a method for their job. After some time frustration Started to set in, observing job being done, in the speed of hourly paid employees (maybe not by the project workers ). In the end of the afternoon, together with all the truck furniture and emptied busted, the bill arrived…8.5 hours for under half of the Home packed/disassembled and awaiting them. At $95/hour, that is $807.
I suppose the lesson learned is; listen to a friends/family and book early, because the excellent companies are not accessible last minute.
Do not ever use 2 Guys and a Truck at Lansing, Michigan. I’d two Guys and a Truck at Lansing Michigan transfer the contents from my house and to some suburban, climate controlled storage center. As soon as I proceeded to get my things moved from this storage center a year after, you will find lots of things broken up, scratched and only overall ruined. They piled metal on wood, put a baby grand piano onto the cement floor and then scraped it, piled metal bits in my fridge and washing machines. There were more than 75 eyeglasses, dishes divided, together with image frames and other things. The moving business that transferred my things from this storage unit stated it had been the worst packaging job they’ve seen in more than 20 decades of proceeding. I contacted Two Guys and a Truck at the Lansing place which I had and they essentially had me jump through some hoops and haven’t returned my newest calls or emails, even when I originally brought in photographs of this dreadful bunch occupation and damaged things. The woman I revealed them to agreed with me that it was a dreadful job and could not believe it herself? This is, undoubtedly , the worst experience I’ve had with a business I can recall. I won’t ever use Two Guys and a Truck again and I advise anybody to never utilize them. Their customer support and moving solutions are dreadful! Two Guys and a Truck review, poor critique, Lansing, MI, Michigan.
The 2 movers delivered by Two Guys and a Truck did a dreadful job. The project required them 13.5 hours after it must happen to be an 8-hour task in the maximum. They came at 8:30am (punctually ). We moved from 1 home to another less than two miles off. We utilized Two Guys and A Truck since we’d used that business 6 years back for the specific same parts of furniture (besides the washer and dryer along with a plastic top seat ) and had a excellent experience. Six decades back, it took two hours to perform the movement and they really had one extra place to visit in the time and also they transferred a dining area set that we no longer possess. This moment, both movers were both inexperienced and maintained whining and arguing with one another. One of these wasn’t powerful at all and always complained and asked for advice from another since he didn’t understand exactly what to do. They ended up needing to transfer just two dressers up a flight of stairs in the new home, and didn’t inform us about that until 9pm. They stated the dressers were overly thick. They utilized a runner along with padding contrary to the door frames in the home we were going from, but maybe not in the new residence. As a consequence of the pulling furniture on the floor in the new home, they scraped our hard wood flooring. They also signed up a damage report but then apparently they afterwards lied to their own manager and explained we’d denied using a runner around the ground of their new residence. That is simply ridiculous. We didn’t deny the usage of a runner. They didn’t at any time ask us some questions regarding runners or cushioning to avoid damage. We allow them to do their job and, even if they’d asked us whether they can use a runner, then of course we’d have said yes. I had been assuming that they would because they’d utilized a runner and cushioning round the door frame in the home we moved from. They had no clue just how to go furniture. They didn’t even get rid of the drawers out of the dressers to create them less heavy and easier to lift. We needed to indicate the them and then remove the drawers ourselves because they didn’t understand how to do it… They whined their hands were damaging but apparently they didn’t wear gloves. They took a lot of fractures, were about their mobile phones, spent some time conversing, etc.. That is a part of the reason why they had been there daily. They were always arguing with one another on how best to take the furniture. Sooner or later, these just put on the ground of the new residence. I guess that he had been taking a rest. Their manager was hospitalized over the telephone and ignored our concerns. We ended up paying for 9.5 hours and now she doesn’t look willing to repair our ruined flooring because she stated she’s given us a lot of a reduction because it’s and she considers her movers that informed her we denied the runner. I felt somewhat sorry for the movers in the day of this move since it’s true they had been there daily, but which was their own doing and it resulted from their slacking at work and also their lack of expertise. They shouldn’t have been performing this job. I no longer feel terrible for them because they whined about the method by which in which the movement happened. I won’t ever use that business again.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Initially I had been loving this business, I’d called and made many modifications to my own move. They have been very accommodating and patient with me. I thought that was likely to be the best adventure ever. . .but I was incorrect!! I got a call from the business that the day before suggesting that they had been shifting my movement from a two man team to a three person team. I asked whether this was likely to modify the purchase price and I was confident it would not. The day of the movement came and I had been told that I had been the next move of the afternoon and that the very first movement was scheduled for two hours. Therefore I expected them arriving in my home by noon at the latest. I phoned at 11:30 to determine whether they had been operating on time and had been advised that they had no idea when they’d arrive. So I waited until 12:30 to phone again and was told they’d likely be an additional hour. They came at 2:45 pm. The movers were very agreeable and moved all of my things without incident. As I was reviewing the paperwork I discovered that the numbers had been distinct (roughly $70 more), I talked with all the inspector and he explained he was not certain why so I guessed I’d call on Monday to find out it. When I called I was told that the quote was only an estimate which was for two people not 3 thus probably I would have needed to pay more. I felt as though I had been totally duped, they left the shift out of two individuals to 3 so why if I need to pay the difference, why would not I be billed the first rate for the duration of time? When I inquired if the cost would alter the individual did not state anything about the fact that the speed would increase. They specifically said that NOTHING WOULD CHANGE. I don’t have any problems telling people (ones that I understand and random strangers on the road ) I would not use this organization but if they really should ensure that they clarify everything, not sign anything until they talk to a person in the provider. During a stressful period this is actually the last thing I wanted. . .if they’d only refunded me the $70 I would not be so mad, guess they want the cash more than the great review!
I would strongly advise that you NOT use this particular plumber. They tucked a mattress, broke a number of pieces of furniture and provided no reimbursement. As soon as I contacted corporate, they stated that they did not have control over the respective franchises and that they might just motivate them to do the ideal thing. That in this instance was NOTHING! I’ve moved a few times and this is actually the worst going experience EVER. And also a 10 mile 3-bedroom transfer wasn’t a deal in over $1,000. Go somewhere else.
To begin with, the moving quote was unbelievably off. Bethany (that the estimator) estimated that our movement (on the large end) would require 12 hours and cost $1,700. It actually took 21 hours and cost $2,600. Additionally, Matthew Richardson (the supervisor ) and Greg (the owner) were quite rude when fixing my husband and I; always interrupting us, not permitting us to talk two or more words at one time. What’s more, they advised us the below quote was our fault and also indicated that we’re dishonest in our coverage of products. They claim we neglected to report 92 things (which amounts to approximately half of the amount of things moved), even though I believe I reported all of my products to the best of my understanding. I might have missed a small number of things, but after having gone through two army moves in the last year, I’ve a extensive inventory list and comprehend the way transfer quotes work. I advised Bethany I’d transferred out of a 2,000 sq. ft. house and my husband had transferred out of a 1,500 sq. ft. house and it was all in the flat along with some 12 X 12 storage unit”stuffed to the brim.” I’d even suggested the company send an person to visually inspect the assumptions to figure a quote. They didn’t send somebody to execute a quote, insisting that they had padded the quote and to not worry. After spending a few hours on the telephone with Matthew and Greg, Greg eventually agreed to refund us 714, which had been the overage in hours and exactly what Matthew had initially offered us when we first reported our criticism. But, Greg refused to apologize for he and his managerial team’s handling of a client complaint. Additionally, Greg went so far as to insinuate that he could have physically harmed me, had the dialogue been in person. He did so by telling my husband that he will”punch anybody in the mouth that raises their voice at me, even if it is President Obama.” I haven’t been treated so badly for a service that I was paying for.
The first quoted time permitted for a 4 hour window where the movers were to arrive. My movement was scheduled for the day, after another job the men had that afternoon. They came an hour following the quoted window. But once they came, they hustled to load and unload my possessions. I had been impressed with their maintenance and expediency. They loaded, drove and unloaded the contents of a packed two bedroom home to some destination 20 miles off in 5 hours, also mentioned. It would have probably taken me along with a buddy at least three times as long to perform the job they did. The men were quite experienced, incredibly cautious, and did I say fast? A pleasure to use. I’ll certainly use this provider again.
BEWARE! ONLY utilize Two Guys and a Truck, at South Tampa, in your own risk! Two movers spent two days packing & moving from 1 location to another nearby place. Needed to let them move in the end of the 2ND afternoon, Because of the outrageous cost, Although we still had to spend yet another afternoon & night packaging what they did not finish. Both Men & a Truck workplace known as & offered to ship out another individual to aid both guys, however the two movers stated’that they’ didN’T wish to function w/that 3RD man & that he would just slow down them. Precious things were broken, chipped & a few things were stolen. We provided drinks & food for both movers, and we found that they even stole prescription medications from the fridge! Cash, a handbag, other handbag Products, some jewellery, the medications, a cassette recorder thing, and a Lot More things are missing. In addition they didN’T indicate ANY of those boxes, therefore there was no method to Ascertain what the things at the boxes were, or in what area they belonged. But they stole a mark we’d for indicating some Products. Unpacking has been a Massive burden. In addition they used our private boxes and packaging tape, vs. their business Products, to package Several Things. We paid nearly $3000 for THE WORST transfer we have ever experienced!
Two guys and a truck arrived into the home the day prior to the movement to package. They worked too quickly to complete the sum to be full of 1 day. Hence they broke a number of things. They arrived the next evening to maneuver us. The truck wasn’t quite large enough, again there just two guys and that was not enough. They did capture everything at the vehicle but broke more items in doing this. They moved too quickly to finish the unpacking on that identical evening and broke more things. That having been said, they mended what they can and compensated for replacements to get what they could not fix in a really timely way. I still would not advocated them.
Two Men and A Truck, Davie, Florida is a strong moving firm. My business partner and I’d just sold a few marble figurines to a customer who resides on Fisher Island. I predicted several moving, cargo, and specialization moving businesses for delivery solutions and couldn’t seem to make a bargain with any of these. The majority of the companies simply did not possess the expertise and consequently diminished. Others were ridiculus using their quotations and still would not gaurantee servicel. After getting a tip from a person who works for a very well know freight firm that the Two Guys and A Truck (Davie, Fl.) Could do it, I gave them a telephone number. From the very start, my moving adviser, Kenny, took charge and worked tirelessly to find a solution to our transferring problem. Within a time period, Kenny talked with his logistics pro Martin and created a game program. In the long run, the movement went seemless, and also the cost remained company. These guys are the real thing. If you’re moving, USE THESE GUYS!!!!
Employed them in Greenville, WI, three occasions to get intercity moves and they have been fantastic and very valuable. I would use them again in a moment! They were quite careful and helpful moving from the duplex and to our new house. They even did a side trip to shed several bits to a local consignment store. Their quote was completely true and the friendliest group of employees I know.
This firm was FABULOUS! The sole reason that they were just one day late from if they stated they’d be there was since the truck had a mechanical problem in Texas. Rather than waiting for get the truck repaired the business leased another truck, repacked the truck and showed up on time the following day. They were very cautious with all the boxes and furniture. All of it showed up in excellent condition. They were courteous, considerate and retained in contact daily regarding where the truck had been. I am so grateful to this business for creating an extremely stressful situation, reassuring in the long run! This specific company was outside of Appleton, Wisconsin.
This entire move with two guys and a truck was the worse nightmare for both me personally and several times worse then that. After spending times carefully packing all of my stuff to make sure that they my home was secure, I chose to enlist the support of 2 guys and a truck to move my poles to get me personally. They also had an advantage to me in which they had an storage I would have the ability to use temporarily before my moving location was finalized and that I could get whatever transferred in. My new residence wouldn’t be prepared for fourteen days, where I made the decision to go ahead and cover a couple of storage to aid their small business. After 8 hours of packing we eventually got the moving truck stuffed and proceeded for their”storage.” Upon arriving in the storage, it’d already looked somewhat abandoned being outside and surrounded by deserted buildings, but I shrugged off my worries largely as a result of exhaustion of spending hundreds of times planning for this movement. We unloaded all of the boxes to the”storage”, and it had been secured with a key that I had no access to and could be not able to get my belongings till there was an accessible company agent. I breathed a sigh of relief and made to eventually go wreck after days and times of fatigue. The nightmare will soon come. The subsequent afternoon at 4PM in the day I obtained a VOICE MESSAGE saying that the storage had caught fire at the preceding night. Not only did they never allow me to know of the immediately, they had the guts to not touch me before the next day!! I was thinking how a company franchise could function under these types of regulations. I instantly known to pull out all of my possessions from this storage, but had been advised that not one of my possessions were ruined and I would never have the ability to carry them out before there insurance agent missed the construction. Obviously I was quite concerned about my possessions but they assured that the construction was now”protected,” and also my concerns were unfounded. I learned just how much of a lie that this was the next day once they said that the building was vandalized during the night and some of it might include my possessions. . .Not just wasn’t vandalism of my possessions, but I learned that the flame had destroyed a lot of my things such as books, furniture, etc.. For this point I’ve lost tens of thousands upon tens of thousands worth of possessions however , they had the audacity to provide me $1000 in re compensation that would just cover the price of me paying to get my possessions moved to there storage. This has become the worst move I’ve ever been a part of or even been witness to and Two men and a truck really are a company of thieves and liars. I would strongly Dis-recommend them to get any future possible movers like I would hate for anybody to go through exactly what I’ve.
I regret that my proceed together with all the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK(r) yesterday was a very dissatisfied, ineffective one. I’m a firm believer of neighborhood company, that was the reason why I picked the 2 MEN AND A TRUCK(r) firm along with other moving firm which costs less. However, the business failed to deliver what they’ve promised. Actually, it was a nightmare that someone could imagine about a move.
My move was seeing a 1000 sq.ft two-bedroom flat (close to the Briarwood Mall in Ann Arbor) proceed to a two-bedroom condominium (near the Meijer at Ann Arbor). Upon entrance to my flat, both movers had estimated that it would be roughly 4 hours later reviewing the packaged furniture and boxes. On the other hand, the service or the lack thereof led to a entire sum of $685.16 ($112 for an agency fee; $550.00 for 5.5 hours of labour; $23.16 for transferring supplies; and taxation ) for an incomplete transfer.
Yes, an unfinished move after spending almost $700 and 5 1/2 hours. Astonishingly, my move remains incomplete. Even though the movers estimated roughly 4 hour-move in their inspection at my flat upon arrival, they had been not able to finish the movement after 5.5. hours. Since the federal law prohibits over 14 hours of work on a particular day, they promised that they were not able to last the movement…. My old flat was abandoned with unloaded boxes and furniture; and my brand new location was abandoned with the partly moved boxes at the foyer of my brand new location.
Two items that I believe I want to alert the organization and the prospective clients of the business: First, the movers had been incredibly unprofessional with respect to occupation: They made bad decisions that the highly skilled movers wouldn’t created. By way of instance, they picked a loading location to be far away in the apartment building entry. The movers asserted that it had been based on their view so that it wouldn’t block the traffic round the apartment building, which had been contrary to my ideas based on my observations of my neighbours’ moves. I am not certain whether the choice was to expand and include more hours of support, which would lead to more service cost. I don’t even wish to stage that the movers were quite slow in doing their job (e.g., which makes decisions what to do next or where to park, and really moving, that were all charged for) – in times, 1 mover transported a part/panel of a desk (that my five-year old boy would lift) for a single excursion from the truck into my location. . .You may figure how the transfer could take a lot of hours, and that the quantity of service cost will be based on. I believe that it is a work ethics problem also.
Secondly, the movers were incredibly unprofessional concerning customer communication and service. After observing that the movers weren’t effectively engaging in their transferring occupation, I introduced my worries since the way that they worked could consume hours and hours to be able to finish the job. Among the movers was extremely rude, stating”I can not do all this” or even”. . .that is the’view’. .” . Through the transfer, I was shocked that the movers weren’t professionally trained how to socialize with all customers..Clearly, the movers weren’t the”Movers Who Care”.
Moving might be a nuisance with many unforeseen circumstances like construction and weather….That is the reason you want a’trusted’ moving business to ensure their experience would direct through the relocation so that they might locate the most effective techniques to”complete” the occupation, a relocation.
My experience using the Two Guys and A Truck was a wrong choice – they were not able to use a essential professionalism to finish the move. I have read some favorable reviews, but it could possibly be a hit-or-miss event – if you’re fortunate, you might have movers that knows how to proceed; Or you’ll have movers that aren’t very good in their job, a transfer, by that firm’Two Guys and A Truck’. I won’t seek the services of this provider again even if the movers indicated that they would return another day/time to finish the”pristine” move.
Guess what – I have learned that this provider isn’t dependable. Now, I want to get a moving company with”Movers Who Care”.
We’ve moved a great deal, both private an business enterprise. Moving is always stressful, yet this was undoubtedly the priciest movement whatsoever. Business (two guys and a truck) north west Miami place originally gave us a quote of 1500. The team of 3 men came on time, we’d request furniture and boxes and electronic equipment to be wrapped. None of that was completed, therefore we had all our furniture ruined including missing bits. We needed them to place our beds together, but they abandoned their resources at old place, so that is wasn’t finished because of my fees were already exceeding $2300. The supervisor Jeramy wasn’t useful and informed my husband to not F….. Call a lot of occasions. They settled harm price for about $265. So beware of this carelessness of the organization and purchase the additional insurance.
This is the Worst Experience in Transferring that I EVER Had. I’d used a Van Line earlier and was going for the time with the exact same business. . .but two guys and a truck appeared to be more economical and created themselves SOUND so Desirealbe. WRONG. They had been expected to arrive at 7:30 am the following morning..only to appear after 9:30 because of one of those guys Over Slept. They stuffed there truck Half full and stated they’d return the next morning to complete. . .and that they were convinced that the remainder goes. . .On there overdue reunite AGAIN 10am. . .they stated they had been more than Weight and that they would need to receive a UHAUL for the remainder of my things to become MOVED and that’s the reason they were overdue. I had been sooooooo upset and now the cost had gone WAY on the sum. I cannot start to let you know about all of the damage things before they even left my property. . .and when they came to my finial stage of distation more Things were either broken or MISSING. They had a total of 3 guys unloading both trucks. . .One of those guys was fond very mild and barely nothing things in the house. . .the other man was on the phone regularly. . .once in a while he’d find a burst of power and work for one hour and back into being on the telephone or smoking that they all did constantly….the only man that really simplifies the truck did ALL THE LABOR. Should of Stuck with Allied. . .they moved a vehicle and several antiquities. . .packed it all and moved far beyond there call of duty to make me joyful. NOT ONE THING came DAMAGED. LESSON TO LEARN>>>RESEARCH..MORE about TWO MEN AND A TRUCK. I sent them an EMAIL and NO REPLY. Inferior Firm. Oh. . .The best thing was clearly one of those men had 3 years exp. Another per year. . .and the previous man whom worked the toughest had over a decade exp. Funny that both that did NOTHING..kept telling me How EXPERIENCE they’re. . .What a Laugh. . .when a 60 yr old girls must get in there toilet to reorganize there packaging….pack the majority of the stuff. . .and always stay on them on about the delicate items go on top….can not start to tell you how often the delicate items where on the base of the hand bath. 1 week after and I am nevertheless UPSET over this dreadful Nightmare of Moving. . It ended up costing me $6,400.00. . .Should of used a VAN LINE… Additionally I was billed for boxes which weren’t employed.
We ordered a move for an hourly rate and have been confident it would require less than two hours since we especially guided it through the middle of this day. Rather, the movers had been a few hours late, outside the guaranteed time variety, and instead of ask us or receive instructions on how best to browse the excursion during rush hour, so the movers chose to proceed direct during the Circle (the worst backup place in Chicago) during rush hour! A very simple call might have led them to another and much quicker route. Needless to say, the trip took almost twice as long, and they brought us $90 per hour for sitting in rush hour traffic at the Circle. Their response to our proposal that they stick by their own bait-and-switch provide to bill us for 2 hours–not their problem.
Furthermore, they place a glass table–the only thing we requested them to move–on the floor, chipping the border. After we requested them to cure this harm, they pointed to a clause in our contract at which we supposedly agreed that the dining table was worth just $60, so that they consented to pay us just this sum. We’d not have agreed that a 2000 table has been worth $60, and also we wouldn’t have hired movers for around $300 to maneuver a $60 dining table! In the minimum, their contract had been bogus, however, we wonder whether they shifted the contract as soon as they found that the table was ruined.
Efforts to solve the matter with customer support proved totally ineffectual. All we needed was to be billed the $240 they promised us the transfer would price (not nicely around $300) and also to possess the table fixed for less than $100, that ought to happen to be covered by their own insurance. Their remedy of our movement and our criticism were equally shameful.
Personally, the support supplied by your own company was one of the worst experiences of my entire life. Following my family was attacked during the movement from your business, it’s had a dreadful influence in our lives. I’ve got a police record (Boone County KY 11-012921) and expect one day that they start a complete investigation. All of my statements here and also the police reports are totally true and I’d be pleased to testify in court if given the opportunity. I shall take every chance I will be the rest of my life to inform every relative, friend and stranger how much your business has ruined and hurt my loved ones and I pray that one day that the individual (s) will know that since I chose and abandoned valuables/cash available doesn’t provide them the right to steal. I’m sorry for the company that you need to employ thieves and dishonest individuals and expect one day the burglar who took advantage of my family knows how much pain he caused by his exceptionally selfish act.
Sincerely,
Rob B.
I scheduled my transfer for my 4 bedroom home in Westfield, Indiana into a storage device in a couple of miles off from Carmel, Indiana. The quotation was $800.00 and that I had been transferred on 2/26/2009, The movers were nice and professional and moved fairly fast. My issue came a couple of decades after when I went to move my furniture from my unit. What I discovered was quite upsetting to me.
They wrapped my china hutch, sleeper couch and chaise sofa. My king and twin size mattresses weren’t. My king mattress was set on the ground and obtained mould and was destroyed. I had an extremely pricey dining room table and a kitchen table which were broken because of this simple fact that the movers put quite heavy boxes in addition to the tables. They both were bowed as a result of the amount of fat they suffered.
I phoned the Indianapolis office a number of occasions and has been given the run around. I had been told I had to talk to Dan in asserts. I had been told he’d call me back straight away. It was 3 times before I heard anything. The secretary was quite rude and condescending when seeking to achieve Dan. I clarified that I wished to understand what the coverage was for transferring these things into storage components.
When Dan was eventually reached he wasn’t any help in any way. Did not answer some of my queries. He explained that when things are transferred they don’t have any clue how long they’ll be in storage. My simple question was why put such heavy items like dishes and glassware on two quite pleasant tables and why not take off the legs? There could have been so much more space! If they had been at a climate controlled unit they need to be treated exactly the same if they had been at the unit 30 times of 3 or 3 years.
Don’t use this firm in Indianapolis. I utilized Two Guys at a Truck at Northern Kentucky and has been extremely happy.
1 last note, we attracted to Dan’s focus that the afternoon we transferred the contents from this device, we had been on 465 and handed a Two Guys and Truck moving van. The motorist was texting while driving. Thought that was prohibited in Indiana. Dan did not appear to care.
I had been assisting a friend going through a separation move her furniture. I called and scheduled Two Guys and a Truck (Nashville, TN)to get a Monday 2-4 PM move. When they did not appear or phone I called them just to be informed that my”actual” appointment was for 12 days after a Saturday. The Operations Manager (who never gave his name) was that the rudest, nastiest person I’ve encountered in years. He insisted that I had been to blame due to their mistake and explained that they wouldn’t work with me since I was angry. Really?? NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS FRANCHISE. I shall make it my own personal mission to inform everyone in Nashville exactly what a$$hole$ these men are. And for God’s sake, DON’T provide them your credit card number since they’ve yet to react to my petition to cancel my”actual” appointment. Proceed with Zoom Movers.
Two Men and a Truck of Plainfield, Illinois arrived at the moving website without the right moving trucks and needed to return and replace the trucks with the suitable dimensions and kind of vehicle. This took more than two weeks. They ruined multiple things in the transfer. They supplied a quotation and then raised the prices by double the sum that had been quoted. Transferring time improved by double the time period because 2 Mean plus a Truck were cluttered, overdue and incredibly unprofessional.
BUYER BEWARE AND FIND A DIFFERENT MOVER.
THE ASTON, PA FRANCHISE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER.
HATES AND DISRESPECTS WOMEN.
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! Although I’ve hired two Guys and a Truck moving business in years past my move together yesterday was a nightmare. 1 mover (John) did nothing and hid from the vehicle to get four hours T0 PAD THE TIME and got lost for 2 hours while another mover was excellent.
4 hours to fill out a one-bedroom flat? As soon as the only furniture was a bedroom set and a simple chair?
John was dishonest, lazy, disrespectful, requested private improper inquiries and is the very passive aggressive individual I’ve ever met. He appeared to like dragging his toes rather than taking anything heavy – allowing poor Nate do about 95% of their job.
Ben at the workplace was very wonderful to me and strove to help John locate the storage facility. John got lost for two hours!.When I tried phoning Ben back, a”Mike” in the Aston workplace was exceptionally rude and unprofessional for me.
I’d love to thank them to the timely and prompt loading and loading of my stuffs in Texas. I had previously used several other major title moving firms and was frustrated with their overdue pickup period. But they were fantastic along with the entire moving experience was simple and reliable.I Will Surely use them again and again will
Urge them to all of my buddies.
