AVOID AT ALL COSTS! AND AVOID ALL PARENT COMPANIES – DO YOUR RESEARCH AND WATCH THE EPISODE ON CBC MARKETPLACE. This goes far beyond the”poor customer service” that we have all experienced at one time or the other. I’m talking terror story here. Amounts modified using liquid paper on contract after it had been initialized and signed; lost furniture; broken furniture; invoice nearly double the quantity of the quote; risks to not send and also to add fees should you attempt to equal the charges. I am astounded that in Canada, this type of company has never been closed down; I beg you, do not make the error I made!!! I understand I will not find my furniture again (high-definition and promote worth ), but what’s much more painful is to consider of all of the others that goes through the frustration and frustration that I went through.
You might believe that you’re becoming great customer support through email initially, and this a trusted agent was assigned to a move (in my own situation,”Rosie”), but beware, this can be a generic email utilized by all workers; no particular worker is caring for you.
I consider myself an educated client and that I had been assisted by an attorney in the time of delivery: trust me, so you will not win from them. Only avoid.
My spouse and I even had the terrific misfortune of utilizing Trillium to proceed. Primarily, their first”quote” that they supply you isn’t even close to everything you find yourself paying. I paid a few hundred dollars over what I was initially quoted. Only read the other reviews and you will realize that this is a tendency with this organization. Second, they ruined our furniture into the point at which we can’t utilize our desk anymore. It is literally divided in half. Our TV stand no more sits flush. Our dining room table is currently scratched up. We had been provided $30 for all this harm. Thirdly, so as to find a reply, we needed to find the Better Business Bureau included, as many telephone calls and emails went shortly after waiting nearly two weeks to get a reply.
This provider’s business practices and liability for damages brought is beyond reprehensible. It is nothing short of disgusting. The sole reason I’m giving them 1 star is because I can not post without giving some kind of star score. I’d have otherwise given them 0 stars. Please save yourself the hassle, cash, and anxiety….find a different provider.
Their first estimation is was considerably far more than the true shipment weight. They do not supply you with the actual shipment weight plus they bill you according to their first estimation that’s known as”minimal weight/ minimal charge”! They’re exceedingly DISorganized! They return to too late! Each single time you call, somebody provides you a different response about your own scheduled and dispatch! As soon as they return to me a week after after phoning several times, asking them to please let someone assigned to my accounts answer my mails!!! They rescheduled my pickup on precisely the exact same day!!!!! And after calling over 10times, 1 month in advanced, requesting them to please deliver my things at a time window of 3 hours, they didn’t! Funny thing! They inform you your dispatch was lower compared to our estimation, however, that’s exactly what it is! And we EVEN supply you with the true weight! NEVER EVER proceed with Trillium!
This organization is horrible. They phoned me the day before to state it’d be twice the price they quoted. They dropped a few of my possessions and never provided anything to them (even after 40 mails back and forth). They ruined other products. The agents play stupid over email, in summary that is a whole scam and must be avoided.
I had an awful experience with this provider. They almost tripled my initial quotation and threatened to fall my possessions off at a centre in Scarborough when I did not cover instantly. The director was chilly and condescending, unprofessional, and impolite. It was crazy and that I was obviously devastated. It off my kid’s dresser was broken and there was considerable damage to other things during that movement. We’re so disgusted and have reported to Better Business Bureau and CBC’s Gopublic.
Worst experience ever. The quotation has been twice the last cost. They billed base on the weight of things, but they don’t burden the things infront of you so there’s absolutely no way for one to confirm/deny the last weight/cost. The movers were suppose to appear involving a time period of 12-4pm. They showed up after 5pm, which induced me to overlook the elevator I needed to cover to publication. My furniture has been taken to a storage facility and also delivered the following day. When I finally got my furniture it was servery damaged. I had a wooden table place and they broke two of the four chairs. They wrapped the two broken seats in bubble wrap so that I wouldn’t detect until they have been gone and I started unpacking. The chair legs have been broken along with the movers tried to mend them by placing nails and wood glue. The set has been valued at $500 significance that every seat was atleast $100 each. I filled out a claims form supplied images. The processing period for an claim is 4-6weeks. It required 8-9 weeks to find a reply about my claim. They offered me $20 for all.
The majority of my things made the trip from Winnipeg to Ottawa. Regrettably I desired, and had anticipated, all of my things to create.
Dealing with this business was a hassle out of the moment they got my items packed in their truck.
The last cost was twice that which they offered for a 1 bedroom flat.
In addition to that there were at least two unaccounted for boxes (really 1 box along with a bag) along with my vacuum. If they came to fall off the things they unloaded a seat that was not mine, which I immediately pointed them out.
I phoned them immediately when I detected items were lost (the luggage and vacuum were to simple see ) and they shipped me the paperwork to submit a claim. I advised them that I needed the things and asked them to get in touch with the truck and they explained that they might assess their warehouse but that the truck had already left to another site.
I followed up by email no less than three occasions after inquiring if there wasn’t any chance finding my things. They’d apologize, tell me that they would speak to the warehouse and message me if they had a response and I never heard from them again.
I don’t recommend.
Please avoid this company in any way costs!!!! They’ll bring only hardship for your own life.
Problems include but are not Limited to:
– Rescheduling the shipping in the very end of the company day right before the shipping has been scheduled the morning after.
– being insulted and called a liar from dispatchers for informing them that they had really given me a window of time to your delivery.
– Considering that a cost at the time that has been greatly more then was quoted.
– Threatened to withhold my products and insinuated that harm could be achieved if they needed to hold onto it no more then the projected delivery period.
– Delivered the products overdue even after shifting the shipping time.
– Broke several things and attempted to conceal them on delivery to cooperate with there being lost things.
– Don’t offer any paperwork at all upon delivery.
– After receipts were eventually supplied more then a week after they revealed fees for storage even though the shipment wasn’t saved and absolutely free storage was guaranteed.
– Once I weighed my merchandise in the home I discovered there for a burden discrepancy of 1000 pounds from the bogus scale ticket which was supplied.
– Informed me that they can do nothing since when I desired I might have turned into a rescale although I found out the burden that the day before shipping. Subsequently had been told that the cargo had already left, there wasn’t any way to return into the dispatching location, and no method to switch the delivery without even charging me more. How then was I going to receive a rescale?
– Gave restricted recourse for many difficulties and were reluctant to be fair in making amends for that activities throughout the transfer.
– Given minimum to no settlement for each of the damaged products simply saying I was becoming out ahead by not needing to cover the allowance.
Really a horrible experience where I had been scammed for much more then $500.00 in scale weights that are faulty. Much damage to products. Frank discount for customers even though they’re a so called”family firm”.
Don’t use this firm. Don’t employ them even if they look good to get started. That can be a ploy and after the products are chosen up the fantastic service finishes since they know that they could hold your merchandise for ransom.
PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I hired Trillium online to package and move my mother from Northern to Southern Alberta. They refused that I hired them to package, AFTER they shipped out their guy. They delivered just 1 person to perform the whole task, attracted no boxes or packaging stuff, no means of transferring the huge furniture by himself. The business then went to hold my mother’s full lifetime in their own truck demanding 3 days the sum borrowed, and they needed the funds ahead of bringing. We needed to report them to the authorities who said never ever pay by credit card ahead of time.
They have been disgustingly rude, ugly, dumb folks. They stole everything that my mother has ever had, including most of her keepsakes in my late father, and individual records. The Agency himself needed to be assisted by additional seniors in the Manor in amassing dirty boxes and papers out of dumpsters and liquor shops to pack her belongings and subsequently the firm tried to bill me further for all those boxes.
Please Don’t HIRE THESES HORRIBLE CROOKS. They’ve ruined my mother, she’s sitting at a vacant apartment miserable and very ill.
This business makes me ill. That is no lie, I vow, and we’ve got lots of many witnesses to this offense and travesty.
This provider is the hell that you never think could happen for you. They even harassed me before I needed to change my cell telephone number. We’ve documented them to the BBB, authorities and attorneys. DO NOT USE THEM.
I had been ripped off countless dollars by those men. The movers compelled me to utilize their packaging service when things were not packaging in accordance with their own criteria (they stated they would not pick this up unless they repacked) and after that I paid the sales rep explained it was only a proposal I did not need to utilize it. They also lost about 8 percent of my things and assert that what’s there anyhow I’m using their own stock checklist. Worst service ever. The movers in the time of delivery were fine, however, the people in the head office making all of the arrangements don’t have any frequent sense. I wouldn’t ever recommend them.
We hade a cross country movement and needed this business move furniture. We obtained quotes from 2000-3000 lbs. Now that we are going to receive our furniture they’re stating is twice the burden. We understand it may have been less or more then the quote but how do a load just half a 27 foot truck amount to over 6000pounds? Also please speak to workers about NOT smoking at a individual’s house.
We had this kind of dreadful experince on this comapny back in October.
First we had difficulty with scalling. First they arrived with 3260lbs, however, we did not take it and informed them that we’ll rescalling after we recived our things and will lawfully comply with the circumstance. And requested them to ship us the scalling ticket. They refused to ship it to us however they arrived with fresh scalling. This period was 2340lbs.
It appears they only swtiched the initial two digits!! . funny.
Anyhow we’d waited for quite a very long time so that we only wished to recieve our furniture, so we accpeted the newest scalling although we understood it isn’t true either.
Finally we obtained our shipping after 3 months paitenly waiting! Our furniture were also damaged. Although they’d billed us to the plastic packs, all of the wraps was torn off, along with the wooden section has been broken. Our china was all broken, it appears somone simply lost its box on goal! .
We calimed our harm and following two months waiting, they said that they may pay us $75!!! That they casued around $5000 compensation and that I do not understand how they came up with $75 thought!!! .
Do not EVER try this comapny or you repent.
Employed Trillium to maneuver from Saskatchewan into Ontario. As soon as I went out there that turned out to be a different inspector along with the burden of my stuff was 960 lbs. Going straight back, I had been advised that the”Scaled” fat was 2200 lbs. I suggested that it looked awfully large as the very same contents which was transferred was coming, besides a few additional clothing that I had, therefore I’d want to watch a re-weigh. They called again a day or two afterwards and said they’d re-weighed the contents and it was currently 1850 lbs. This still was considerably higher than I anticipated so I asked a seen reweighing and has been ready to take the prices if the burden was less than 200 pounds gap. The afternoon prior to the materials have been scheduled to be sent, they predicted very late in the afternoon to say that there were not any certified scales over 200 kilometers of our place, and when I wished to watch the climbing, I would need to go to Toronto. The solution was that they’d reduce the burden of their contents to 1600 lbs, without a re-weigh. I was not happy, but approved that this choice since I needed my furniture and did not wish to have to manage them any longer. When they’d contacted me sooner, I am sure I’d have located a licensed truck weigh scale considerably closer to my place. In reality there’s a highway truck weigh station only 20 kilometers from my location, managed from the MTO, which could likely have been taken advantage of. In conclusion, the support was great, but I’d be wary on the”accredited” contemplate scale readings they supply.
Thank you a lot for your solutions, dont even know what we could have done without you!
Pleased and we’d really like to tell folks in their outstanding support!
Movers were very useful, required a positive attitude to solving issues,
And quite careful to not harm contents or house.
The cost did not change and nothing has been broken or damaged.

Hiring Trillium Moving and Storage has been among the worst decisions I have ever made. I will tell the Complete story below, however, here is the condensed model for people in a rush:
· – had been quoted $1900 for dispatch, then billed $5014 instantly before shipping. Goods will be kept hostage until payment has been made.
· – All incoming stock has been marked as broken and ruined, therefore Trillium wouldn’t be held accountable. Goods have been in horrible condition on arrival.
· – Communicating through was intentionally deceptive and poor.
I asked quotes from several dozen businesses on the web, also Trillium came back together with the least expensive quote by a significant stretch. I asked a visual analysis, and has been advised that they don’t provide them for smaller imports, but they’d offer an estimate should I provide them a thorough list of their possessions. I provided that, and obtained a quotation for about $1900, which appeared sensible. I agreed to employ them. Our products were accumulated several months afterwards. A few weeks passed on, and I’d heard nothing in Trillium. I followed up to test the last weight/cost, since I understand that movers may increase up the price afterwards. Trillium reacted, but my request was dismissed. I followed up again, two, and was again ignored both times.
Weeks after, and shortly prior to delivery was expected, I got a call in the driver (maybe not Trillium themselves, that were still ignoring me), stating the shipment would arrive in 2 weeks time, and that I have to have payment of 5014 prepared to pay on arrival. This was greater than $3000 greater than the initial estimate. I supposed there must have been a miscommunication, therefore I phoned Kate Roberts (our client support rep) who advised me that the burden was greater than the quote, so the cost would be substantially higher. I inquired why I wasn’t told before, and that I just said they don’t have any duty to inform me in any particular moment. I told her that I couldn’t manage this much, and requested her to come back the cargo, but she stated she couldn’t do this, and therefore, when I didn’t cover, our possessions would be put in storage, in the price of $175/month. After a specific quantity of time, they’d market our possessions.
I inquired for the speed to be reduced and was advised by Kate Roberts that she would need to talk to her boss, who’d be off for the upcoming few days. I followed up a couple of days afterwards, and has been advised that the supervisor was still not back. This occurred repeatedly for many days, before I researched the company and discovered that Kate Roberts, our client support representative, would be the operator and director, and she’d been brazenly lying to me about needing to talk to her boss. When I confronted her about that, she refused to be the supervisor.
I finally admitted that I’d fallen prey to the traditional inspector’s scam: I had been provided a super-low quote made to prey on people without a lot of disposable income, so my products were packaged in the automobile, and after that the price was raised up, along with the products had been held hostage. Unfortunately after a little Googling (too late), I discovered that I wasn’t the first man Trillium had completed this also. See below for just 1 news story:
http://www.trurodaily.com/News/Local/2013-11-07/article-3471225/Moving-woes-leave-Little-Dyke-couple-living-in-near-unfurnished-home/1
I refused to pay, realizing that something illegal was happening. I contacted the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services, that confirmed for me that this really was an illegal action, and that it is contrary to the law in Canada and the US for almost any company to bill over 10% greater than a quote. I advised to Kate, who stated that the quotation she supplied was a non-binding quotation, as opposed to a binding quotation, and the legislation does not apply to these quotations. I contacted the Ministry back, who stated that, under Canadian law, there’s not any difference between binding and non-binding connections, and it was obviously an illegal action, and that I could readily pursue legal actions. I moved back and forth using Kate, and that she provided to decrease the cost to $3500. I again refused.
After I had registered a formal complaint, also delivered Kate a letter confirming that, I received word that the products weren’t being stored in storage afterwards, but were about the road to me in Los Angeles, since she was not able to block the shipment. She stated that she had been ready to reduce the cost back, but maybe not to the initial quote , or to over the 10% window. She stated that, since the products were already on the go, when I refused to cover the motorist would now shed my merchandise someplace in Los Angeles, then return back to Canada. I had no decision to agree with this, since the legal process wouldn’t be finished in time, I wanted my dispatch, and that I did not need my merchandise abandoned in town. We finally agreed on a lower cost ($2880, as opposed to the initial $5014, however a excellent price higher than the 1900 I had been quoted), as well as the products have been delivered.
The driver finally came, and I watched that the country of my dispatch. Trillium had employed a business named Vega Line to transfer their products, and Vega Line is presently conducting a 2.9/10 standing on Home Stars. The products were piled so high from the van (floor to ceiling( see picture attached) that the boxes and crates in the bottoms were totally shattered. To me, there was just 1 person to both drive and unload the vehicle it’s common belief that one individual can’t correctly unload a massive shipment, such as big parts of furniture, even without doing harm to the merchandise. Since he couldn’t lift the products in his own, he’s got to work with a dolly for several of the bits, and really pulled the dolly up a flight of stairs using all the products at the top. Among my dressers needed a massive hunk of wood torn from the foundation when he pulled on the dolly out. I advised the inspector exactly what he’d done and his reply was”you’ve got to expect this to occur if you use a dolly to move heavy furniture.”
Several of my products were ruined, and a few products were completely lost. I moved to submit an insurance claim, after which I noticed that the next region of the scam: about the stock form which was created in pickup , the movers had indicated each and every thing on the stock because”chipped,””scraped” and”worn” so they wouldn’t be held accountable for the harm they’d later perform to the dispatch. They even marked with the mattress as being”mildewed” and”stained,” although it had been in pristine state. If I was there for pick-up I wouldn’t have signed off with this, but regrettably my father-in-law, that supervised the pickup, didn’t observe this. As a result, it’s very unlikely that your insurance claim (that is for more than 1000 of compensation ) would be honoured.
I am able to envision Kate Roberts reacting that I am not supplying her side of this story, which there was more in my dispatch than at the first breakdown. While I made every attempt to be true, it’s likely that there were marginally more products from the dispatch than to the poll (although considerably less than that which Trillium asserts ). No matter the issue might have been prevented completely if Trillium supplied the visual questionnaire which I asked. Above all, in the event the dispatch was actually substantially bigger than the estimate provided, the opportunity to inform me that this info is either at pickup or soon after, so that I have the choice of changing my thoughts about the shipping. It isn’t ethical to do this when the shipment has already crossed North America in order that my possessions are in a place to be kept ransom.
The reality is that, no matter Kate’s arguments, both the Ontario Ministry of Government and Consumer Services in Canada, and also the Attorney General’s Office at the USA have advised me that hiking the cost over 10% within the quote is contrary to regulations. I’ll continue to pursue legal actions against the business, also will update here when there’s a progress.
If I could provide this”moving” firm a NEGATIVE score I would, believing they aren’t a really moving company they’re a dispatch business that hires other companies to more your items for them. Right from the get go I must have discovered the red flags, they appeared to be sort and greatly priced after I said I’d employ them to be my moving firm it all went down hill from there. Not only was it impossible to get ahold of my customer service representative, but if it came down to really having… read more a dispute and informed her that I was tired of this crap and wished to make a criticism she told me that this wasn’t needed and didn’t give me the advice of her boss before I insisted once more. After I finally got ahold of the so called”supervisor” I guessed things could work out, boy was I confused. Not only did I waste a lot of patience and time with this girl, they’ve now also wasted my cash. I could ship this girl 3 mails before she’d return to me and attempting to get ahold of somebody at the workplace in almost impossible as they appear to at all times be”out.” After all of the issues I’ve had with this business I have yet to be granted one apology, or explanation as the reason they appear to completely incompetent and rude. A move that could have cost me 3000$ with any other moving company has now cost me 4500$ and did I mention that I still haven’t got my items. As of tomorrow I”should” have my things finally after being nearly half a month late, and I’ll be posting pictures as I can already assume there’ll be damage and lost items since they continue to astound me with their incompetence. Not merely will be Trillium moving the worst business to work with, the real movers that they employ are outside rude and consistently late. They supply you with a 4 hour window to when they’ll arrive and still cant even manage to be punctually. They showed up they had been an hour late after the window they’d given us, the next time they had been two hours later after the window they’d given us, so that I expect nothing less once they arrive tomorrow. No only were they late both times but if they did arrive that they didn’t give us an excuse as to why or just one apology, not just this but they were incredibly rude when they talked to us and took no caution when going our things. I’ll be posting more once they appear AGAIN tomorrow, but I want to emphasise Trillum Moving would be the WORST business you could ever opted to transfer your belonging. If you take care of your possessions, time, patience and money DO NOT use this company and notify anyone you know who’ll be going to do exactly the same as I will be with all of my friends and loved ones.
We picked Trillium to move our family and Parent’s houshold out of BC and Alberta Respectively in May 2013. I’m not even sure where to begin. First I had been informed one week prior to the transfer that they would arrive 1 week early since that was exactly what was convenuent to their driver, therefore we needed to stay in a resort. . .not very good for all of us! When our stuff eventually came in Nova Scotia it was nearly at their advantage never ours, but I set down my foot and needed to induce them to come 2 days until I needed to begin work, otherwise their taste was to deliver later I began work. Each and every thing was damaged. . .boxes were squashed and ripped open, there were virtually around every bit of furniture like the broken bookcase I’d like to possess. All of our glass things have been smashed and broken as well as our large screen TV was totally shattered that was packed with Trillium who charged us an extra $100 for the TV box! Trillium also charged me an extra $250! Since their truck couldn’t make the turn into our drive but that was finally refunded to close us up about the ruined boxes and furniture, but just after I emailed the photos to Kate. NEVER use this moving business if you would like your items to get there in 1 piece. We weren’t supplied with a weigh slide until we needed it as the expense to get our smashed and broken belongins was 3000 approx. Over what we had been quoted at the start. My parents had precisely the same experience and they had been at the Army and’d never needed anythingarrive broken and ruined before. We’d like to warn folks not to utilize Trillium as that’s the only recourse we’ll ever have. Thank you, Trina Gree
Terrible support. Rude and argumentative upon pickup. Damaged furniture, 1 box packed in grease and grime. Took a month to provide possessions. Following 2 weeks and a half months of being directed on about shipping date has been given 24 hours to procure three times the initial quote and just after knowingly requesting total quantity. Charged for wrap that was diminished and a storage charge despite the fact that it was made painfully apparent to the firm we took our dispatch as soon as possible. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.
I picked that company because they provided a great pace. They were overdue about 4 hours to the pickup. When they came and proceeded everything, they billed me for a few covers they employed. As it turned out to be a very long distance movement, they stated they could save everything for free before my move in date. However, they billed me $100 for the storage. I needed to assert that number… The day of the transfer in, they had been late once more for approximately 5 hours. They ruined a few of the furniture. I’d for nearly $5000 in reduction. Brand-new white leather couch I purchased 7 months before, leather chaise couch, dresser, mattress frame… I maintained for all of these and I made me wait approximately 5 months to inform me I’ll get $100 for my own promise. I transferred a great deal in my own life, from 3 continents, which is the very first time that I have so awful encounter with a moving business. I won’t ever do business with them anymore. If my critique can stop this nightmare, I will be quite happy.
My wife and I hired Trillium to move our belongings from a storage unit in Fredericton to our new home in Calgary. We chose them from a large pool of big and small movers that all had good and bad reviews. Overall our experience was poor, but from what I’ve learned since sharing experiences with many people who have hired many different movers, it was a typical moving experience. Maybe the whole industry is broken. Maybe the rates are too low to be able to provide consistently good service. We had a few of damaged items, a lost lawnmower, and lots and lots of scuffs and nicks and scratches. The damaged items were all packed by the movers, and after watching how a move goes I’m not surprised that so many items got banged up in the process. My estimated and actual weights were very different (actual was almost double) but since the estimate was done using industry standards for our goods I wasn’t surprised that there was a difference. You pay for what the load actually weighs, so there really isn’t much use in estimates, only the price/lb and the conditions of the move are important when comparing movers. I requested a weigh scale ticket to show the tare and load weights and justify the final invoice, and what I was given was a note on Trillium letterhead stating that the load was weighed at their own scale in Toronto and stated the net weight. That wasn’t going to fly with my company (who were paying for my move) so I then requested (in fact, argued for) a re-weigh at a public certified scale. It’s important to note that using public certified scales is required in the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario Regulation 643/05 (Section 18.1) and the other provincial Regs I looked at as well. Of course normally there’s no way to know what’s in the truck when the weights are taken, but that’s another story… Anyway, I was surprised to see that there was a significant difference between Trillium’s own scale and the truck stop scale. Trillium’s weight was much higher (>1200 lbs). I was provided a refund for the difference in weight as well as the re-scaling fee (the truck stop charged $200, which I payed for out of pocket) without hesitation, but also without an explanation. Two small but not insignificant good parts of the whole experience: communication was professional and timely, and delivery was only a little late. I also learned a funny thing: the movers (any movers) have little motivation other than online reviews to provide good service: if you’re insured, then the insurance company will pay for damages; if you’re not insured, then nobody pays for damages. The moving company is only responsible for $0.60/lb whether we’re talking a box of old paperbacks or a big screen TV. Next time – as much as it will be difficult – we’ll get a UHaul and drive our own stuff across the country.
I gave them 1 star because there was not an choice to give zero.
This firm was a tragedy to manage, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anybody. I am in the process of taking them to small claims court, as somebody stole my brand new iMac (was in box AND recorded specifically about the itemized contract) along with arbitrary overage fees (such as a parking ticket??) AND failure to offer a guaranteed, authorities stamped burden page.
The customer service representatives were totally unprofessional – one even attempted to bribe me by saying they would get rid of the fees (that I was not contractually responsible to cover ), if I’d provide in writing that I would not write a poor review. Who does this??
Anyhow, to sum up it – that they overcharged me by close to $800, stole my brand new iMac, and has been nearly a month late in delivering my merchandise.
Last weekend I finished my move using Trillium. In august I chose for my things to be picked up in Regina, what appeared great, the guys were quite nice and useful I needed to maintain my things together for more than I believed, Kate was really great and helped me a lot to produce the strategies for your storage. Last week they delivered my things into my new condominium in Toronto. The delivery guys were polite and very fast, they assisted me place up my bed and they were quite clean. I am very glad I chose Trilium, everybody was good to use and I’d use them again.
Great and honest support from Trillium Moving. My most moves throughout the nation and lots of move I understood what to expect less or more, and that I was really happy with the consequence of this transfer. We’d transferred utilizing the large boys at a really substantial cost and we also used smaller businesses but were not very happy.Trillium Transferring was fantastic to handle and being that they’re a family run company we had been really happy with the last outcomes and pleased to encourage a household run Canadian Business.Kudos into Chloe and Lisa and Sarah, they were also good to handle and had assured I was conscious and understood exactly what was likely to take place in every portion of the move. The quotation was the best area and the last cost was around everything I expected.Trillium bursting had provided us a great service and we all believed that they deserved a fantastic review. Our movement has been from Chatham, ON into Laval, QC.S Lewis
After we contacted this business in the telephone they had been sound really favorable. . But lied to us in everything!!! Never use this company… they broke everything and sent material after 12 times and charged very large cost for inferior service!!! We had been whined and robed by this organization and now we searching for justice to be performed!!! Never use this business!!

The office team is great, but difficult to get a hold of people. The movers showed up early to pickup that was fantastic, the earlier they arrived the earlier we washed and were on our way. However they simply threw boxes onto the floor, at the vehicle, no maintenance was actually taken. Upon shipping, we pull up to our new location and locate the movers at the neighbors garden STEALING veggies and fruits. Neighbour came out and gave them heck. Driver was only throwing our boxes from the truck on the ground. No maintenance was taken. Virtually all boxes were smashed/dented. Any box marked brittle seemed to get a target since they ALL had a thing broken, such as 100 year-old china. Our wall components had the foundations broken somehow. One we needed to throw it out had been in that bad of shape. The movers also didn’t wear tops, tried to market their business (these men have to have been hired via trillium). After delivery of all items were created a number of the movers evaporate. Come to find out that they raided the backyard again. I am sorry that isn’t your property. I wouldn’t advise this comapny. We were amazed at just how much our substance weighed because we believed we were fairly close, but arrived in 3000 pounds longer. And when we needed a rescale it’d cost us 200.00 for its labor and when it had been inside 200lbs we owed the 200.00 nevertheless however less than 200lbs the fee could be waived, and amusing enough that the movers showed up following scales were shut.
At start of August my Loved Ones and I moved out of Regina, SK into Montreal, QC with Trillium Moving.
We went on line to receive quotes and from those 3 firms we’ve narrowed down it Trillium consistently the first to get mails, telephone messages and supply us with all the particular information that we needed to make our choice.
We have a quote to get our big 3 bedroom home , we then moved through a more comprehensive quoting system together with the workplace, our quotation was within 5 percent of our estimation, and we’re really impressed.
We did all of our packaging, except for a few classic china that we allow the professionals treat.
Everything arrived in good shape and sometimes, we’re really pleased with our choice and would urge Trillium to anybody going.
There were several things that this company did that were good. They consented to pick up my cargo on short notice and they arrived when they said they’d. I packaged my own items, which had been a decision that they said I would create. But when they came they stated it wasn’t packaged with their liking and billed me to get a Massive Quantity of bubble wrap and packaging tape. The contract stated that wrap the furniture could be contained in the Purchase Price, but seemingly not. They also billed me to five wardrobe boxes. Total packaging charge was 330 and that I Wasn’t given a decision. My furniture has been late coming. When it arrived some of the bags were broken and shattered. They blamed me for this but I looked at the vehicle and noticed that they were piled about 10 large, no wonder that they had been squashed and broken. My backyard seat had the rear broken and somebody put it back together using tape. The Very Best decoration has been broken from a classic mirror. A slit Was made at the plastic on another mirror along with the broken piece trapped inside there. Among my dressers had three gouges at the front border. In areas the plastic wrap Was ripped and deep scratches at the torn regions. It was quite obvious that matters had been treated in a Really rough way. After the movers attracted my furniture at the new home, they left scratches over the hardwood flooring of three of those chambers. I discovered them pushing furniture Throughout the floor, and so I went up to look and saw that the scratches. The flooring had only been changed before we proceeded in. I Wouldn’t use this business. I believe they see that your possessions as Only a freight and do not care how tough they manage it. I believe they Weren’t upfront with me about additional costs. They stated about the contract that they provided a seniors discount however that I had to ask three times to receive it.
I’d never ever recommend Trillium business to anybody since it’s among of the worst experiences I have ever had using a service firm. We hired them to send our stuffs out of Ottawa to Calgary on June 24, 2013. They were designed to send them till July 10 however, the true delivery occurred on July 18, following several calls and follow ups. From the time of shipping we needed to cover the complete sum to ensure our items can be dropped off. But, they didn’t supply us with a scale weight or a reception. Twoexpensive things were dropped (Total worth of $800), the shipping men assured us they would send them in couple of times or so, however they have not done so yet after nearly 3 weeks. We’re in contact with each of their client relations supervisor regarding our misplaced things and extra fees, but she did not appear to be affectionate in any way. There were also added fees that hadn’t been issued in our first quote. We were likely to obtain a refund for all those additional fees by Tuesday Aug 6, and that we didn’t received it. The situation appears to be fairly awkward to people, since they delivered the little boxes and valuable things like cooking and books stuffs, but these precious things (a fresh new Samsung sound program, and a bicycle ) are not missing.
I have never had a somewhat bothersome or costly movement, and I’ve moved a great deal. The Majority of my valuables were ruined. I had been charged an extra $700 upon delivery for an Excess pickup, additional fall off along with warehousing charge, none of that were authentic. When I did not need to pay the Excess cost, the movers stored my merchandise hostage. Upon calling head office in Toronto, I had been told that they would repay 211 and insisted that they didn’t understand what I was referring to concerning the remainder, even believed it had been about the invoice.
I am always asked to hold off about receiving my refund. It’s Been a month today. Nobody whatsoever has contacted me concerning the damaged products.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
I wouldn’t advise using this business. Our dispatch was recently transferred from Vancouver Island, BC into Waterloo, ON. Many things were broken and ruined, and lots of costly items were missing. We’re currently experiencing really slow and inadequate customer support from Trillium employees, and they don’t seem bothered in any way by the simple fact that they damaged/broke our items and have completely lost many big and important products. Trillium is turning out to be the most unprofessional company I’ve worked with. Things to Know about:
Trillium doesn’t have a suitable inventory and monitoring system set up. Inventory is unprofessionally completed with pencil and paper on the place from the movers, and matters aren’t itemized nor monitored employing any kind of digital system. When the things are unloaded, the movers don’t affirm the things against the initial hand-written stock checklist. Thus, there’s not any way to learn if anything was lost in the present time that the movers arrive to bill you and then unload your things. You’re really taking a shot by paying for these first. It is going to only be then simple fact that you will see any broken or lost items. At that stage, it is going to be too late since you’ll have already paid them. We also needed to ask Trillium on to re-scale our dispatch and it was that the re-scaled burden was reduced than that which they initially said it had been. This saved us out of over-paying with several hundered bucks.
Trillium broke or broken upwards of a dozen products, such as broken coffee cups and photo frames, holes in leather office chairs and sofas, legs broken from living room end tables, scratches and scuffs at a wood kitchen table, and much more. Many objects, like seats and a piano stool, have sticky tape residue on them from careless handling and packaging by Trillium. One of those seats was also used a footstool from the movers — it had been sent to us fully covered in filthy foot prints!
As for missing things, Trillium successfully dropped a lengthy collection of our things, a few very costly and hard to replace. Matters dropped: 32″ flat screen tv, 22″ flat screen computer monitor, SportRack bicycle rack for 4 bikes, two ottomans, a book shelfand two boxes filled with fancy and books serving platters, along with all of the support pliers and hardware to our pricey king size mattress set. How they can only lose a lot of things is beyond me. The replacement price for these will probably be near $2000. And, regrettably, among the serving platters which was missing was a really unique wedding gift that’s irreplaceable.
I’ll post again after because we work at solving the above mentioned issues.
Your AMAZING! Chloe was my representative and she was excellent! She walked me through the whole procedure and was very flexible with my dates and neediness. I am pretty sure she’s sick of me by know. The service has been professional and very accommodating for my loved ones and me. A couple of days later my shipping I got a telephone to be certain that the delivery went well and also to ensure I was pleased with the service that was fine because it looked as though they really cared. I suggest that everyone try this business should they want the support I received requesting Chloe. Thank you a lot to Trillium you created our relocation ideal!
Thanks to Trillium Transferring, they had been great to deal with and so were very helful together with my brief notice movement. A huge thanks to kaate because of her patience with me and bein able to assist me so quickly.
I called around to a lot of business I discovered on Google to see whether anybody can moev me from the end of the month, nobody could help me but I luck out and discovered Kate, she left a pleasant moving strategy for me and the guys picked up ahead of the 1st. I had the time to drive to my new flat and they even put my things from the storage so that I could paint my brand new location.
They arrived to the delivery and nothing has been broken, the cost was about $50 cheaper thn the quote.
I would cope with them agan anytime
