    Moving duringCovid19

I purchased a home in Oregon and time was through the covid19 virus. I didn’t know whether I could locate a moving company.

Touch of course movers has been fantastic. Picked up all of my belongings and drove it into Oregon. Suzie was really beneficial and I felt comfortable using her to call her anytime. Tony was also quite useful and I’ll love the telephone call I had with him. Wonderful business.

SCAMMERS! Worst experience ever, bad company

I phoned United World Wide Movers and they maintained they had their own trucks but delivered Touch of Class to perform the moving. We had been quoted $2250 and billed with a deposit, to maneuver a two bedroom home and they were presumed to get it done by weight but then shifted it to cubic feet. And stated that the fees would be $14,557 but using a reduction it would be $10,158. We were already on the street and had my mom take action and she felt threatened to do it since they said they’d maintain the deposit. They ensured delivery but were nearly two days late and then attempted to charge us more cash on shipping and when we would not cover they broke and threw our belongings from the front lawn. They intimidated an older woman and handicapped individual and violated our faith in California. We just moved 1 country away from Nv to Ca, they’re thieves and predators, scamming anybody they can and attempting to induce folks into contracts via intimidation and threats. They chose up our stuff around the 11th and said they dont work Sunday so they’d deliver on Monday but then came back together with Wednesday and then showed up at seven pm at the darkened to throw off our stuff the truck with no respect breaking our antiques, flat screen tvs along with a lot of mores things all broken. They’ve no respect to your stuff, circumstance, or cash. They’re covetous scammers which can screw you any way they could. Please don’t rely on them and turn them away in the event that you view them, don’t let this things happen to you or anybody else. Largest SCAMMERS EVER DO NOT USE EVER

    Crooks

Be warned. They’ll attempt to rip you off.
They were supposed to perform go on Aug 31. They never revealed. Subsequently sept 1 8:00am-11:00’m. They did not show. Eventually showed up Sunday 1:30. They analyzed my stuff with stock. They explained that I’d more boxes compared to 40 I paid for. I requested them to revise the exact amount. We had a contract for $3118 for its transfer. The revised amount was for $13,000!!! I told him no. I simply told him to choose just the furniture and leave all else including all of the boxes. I said I’d let a uhaul and load it myself and drive itself to Cali. He explained it was not worth the drive out of AZ to Cali for just $3100. He said he’d take action for 6000 more in money. He told him he understood the quantity and the stock before showing up. Simply take just the furniture. He explained my furniture was fine and that I needed to pay the greater amount cause I’d fine furniture. He explained the initial cost was a quotation for [EDIT] ikea furniture. I told him nobody asked me when I have fine furniture or [EDIT] furniture. He explained it had been Sunday afternoon on Labor Day weekend. If I did not cover him then nobody would perform the move. I paid them a deposit of $1321.99!!! I would like my money back! They denied the move! Cause they had been holding me hostage for more $$$.
Do not give them a cent! They’ll steal it!

    Move from Arizona to California

I didn’t call bit of course they phoned me and explained that the firm I phoned them to perform the move. I had been told by Suzie that they would be out on August 30th bereeen 12 pm and 4 pm.
I called they at 3 and was advised that it they were not here by 4 to phone back. Subsequently the driver calls and stated that they are there at 6:30.
I was suppose to get liberated 60 day free storage that Suzie knew about. I then put on the 15th and explained that the stuff needs to be transferred since I place the date since the 14th and I advised her that her motorist kept rushing to place a date. On the 17th she email me that my stuff had been out for shipping so had to hurry and find a storage location. Then the motorist called said they’d be there within an hour and still had to visit the bank and post office for cash order, which will be just another matter lied about she stated that they took credit cards and debit cards. Please don’t use this business for almost any moving. Suzie was friendly and nice in the beginning. It’s all about the cash. BIG SCAM COMPAY

    Touch of Class Movers Scam

This firm is the largest scam artists in the enterprise. I worked with Sandy and Natalie, and they charmed me by the beginning telling me my transfer from Chicago, IL to Los Angeles, CA will be perfect. They gave me a very fantastic quote, and advised me my things are there within 5-10 business days from the time of my delivery date. On the afternoon of the transfer, another firm arrived to pick my stuff up, and estimated I’d more things then what my quote said and billed me more which I’d expected. Then the man tells me the that the amount of gratuity is generally 10-15%. Follow up 8 business days, and Touch of Class Movers inform me that I must wait the two more days. I call the next company that really picked up our things, and they inform me that our stuff remains at a warehouse in Chicago, also won’t leave for one more week! My spouse and I have been sleeping with the air mattress free of furniture, along with my baby’s things had to all be purchased as I couldn’t wait any longer because of his items. I phoned Touch of Class, and strove to receive my cash back and inform them that I’ll have another firm move my things. This business is a scam so please please if you have some other firm use these instead! DO NOT GET SCAMMED BY TOUCH OF CLASS MOVERS because I did!

    Plainfield, IL to Fresno,CA

The only reason that they get 1 star is because I needed to, so as to input this particular review. Touch of Class Movers is your most peculiar compnay ever DO NOT USE THEM WARNING!!!! I did not do my assignments and sent the quotations I’ve received to my company office that then picked based on cost not support. It moved from $6,900 to nearly $10,000. After all was packed onto the vehicle, I had been told it was likely to be and include $1900 packaging supplies. I’m now in CA and they’re charging $1840 on shipping, which contains a $840 shifting fee plus $1,000 redelivery fee and potential storage charges. Suzie isn’t any use she states it has to be dealt with by dispatch. Please don’t conduct business with this business!! They’re a scam!!

    Touch of Trash

DON’T DO IT! All these ppl canceled our transfer ahead of our flight and abandoned our young kids out on the road
Touch of Trash movers would be your WORST moving company I have ever worked with, which says a lot because I have moved 5 times in the previous ten years (across state and abroad ). When I first contacted them I spoke to Suzie who had been so overly sweet and useful. I recorded my things and she offered me in 1500$ (it was a little move), then a couple of days after I called her and asked to make the move much smaller because we chose to donate some desired things to our church. She then lent me in 1200$ The products were 10 medium boxes, 4 big boxes, two trainers, two tables, a mattress, dresser and two mattress. I asked her the following questions before committing. 1) Can I put cushions, blankets, and stuffed animals on the sofa (yes). 2) May the movers arrive Thursday morning prior to our flight so that our children have someplace to sleep the evening before (yes) 3. Can I opt from placing my mattress at a box and only get it wrapped (yes)

So Tuesday they call and state the movers are coming first thing Wednesday morning and if I talked to Suzie concerning why they’re coming a day early she explained there’s nothing I could do about it. So I remained quiet and reserved a hotel room for my loved ones and I. So Wednesday morning rolls around and the movers come. I explained to them that the things that I would like to take have diminished significantly. By way of instance rather than 10 medium boxes I just have two and instead of two mattresses I now only have 1! They look around and opt to add nearly 1000$ more to my quote. Though the size was decreased by over 25 percent. They also stated that placing the mattress at a box is required. So I call the office and clarify and also the formerly sweet and individual Suzie becomes hands down the most impatient and rude person I have ever talked to. She asserts that she never told me it was fine to place things on the sofa, FYI later from the afternoon her boss CONFIRMS after listening to the recorded calls which Suzie did actually say that. Suzie informs me that the quote she gave me was predicated off normal sizes. I was very confused because a moderate box is a moderate box and I’ve EIGHT LESS than I previously mentioned. I advised her that she completely tricked me, she gave me a wonderful quote simply to snare me and place my loved ones and I at a circumstance where we don’t have any option but to cover. All she had been doing is crying and being rude so I opted to talk for her manger Kevrin. BIG MISTAKE!

The supervisor was extremely unhelpful. She could have cared less about my difficulties and only cared for studying the arrangement term for word. I asked her to hear the recorded telephone, and she then placed me on hold and did thus. That is the shocking area! She then comes back and affirms that Suzie did actually tell me it was fine to place things on the sofa and I do not need to set the mattress at a box AND afterward she states that they do not want my enterprise and won’t ship our things. She was clearly scared that her things got caught lying. We asked to talk to the proprietor (Roy Erhardt) and she refused to let’s talk to him or to supply his email address. Yup! 24 hours before our trip she stopped our move. I told her I have two young kids which will not have any place to live if we do not get on that airplane and we don’t have any family to put away our things with. She said its not her problem and suspended on the telephone in my head.
Please protect yourselves from this horrible excuse of a provider. Also simply to give you a clearer idea of our things, only 8 weeks ago we moved from MO to CA using double the quantity of things we have today and we compensated 1700. All these ppl are complete scammers! Listen for me and virtually every other individual on Yelp! My only other gripe is that yelp will not allow you to give 0 stars!

Please please pay extra attention to your inventory list

Be super careful with their quote and pay additional attention to your stock listing, be over accurate. My quote rose from $4.1per cent to $23.5k, since I included a TV, two arm chairs, a lamp, 10 photograph frames, 3 little cubes, a major box and program 20 more moderate boxes – in complete not more than 20 percent more in bulk. I couldn’t agree about the telephone with their customer supervisor, who ship them back home with no stuff. Very unsatisfactory experience, after getting very excellent experiences with other global moving companies to get many project relocations.

    Worst experience ever!!!

Horrible company, no liability, no follow up. Paid way too much and ended up getting 90 percent of my things damaged and moist and per day late. They work with builders that aren’t professional and don’t care. They state they’ll unscrew the furniture that they disassembled- but which appears to be a scam. The choice up people charge you for packing and wrap which according to the sending driver really isn’t the ideal packaging. My things looked like they had been prepared to get the garbage. Additionally, they caused somebody else’s things!! I paid nearly 6k complete which was over two times as far as that which was quoted. Obtain a respectable expert business even though it cost more. Save yourself time, stress and money.

    Horrific Experience

Complete worst going experience of my entire life. Movers were assumed to come Thur, never showed up, assumed to then come Friday, never revealed, and then eventually when they showed up on Friday afternoon, the first quotation was under half that which they lent upon seeing exactly what was wanted to be transferred. Though we gave them a thorough record, that he had on his hands. Subsequently any part of furniture that they choose, they cost an additional $80 since they”need to” wrapping it. A little side table or shoe rack. Then they won’t inform you where your material is, or if it’s going to be delievered. They state generally 10 business days from the date that you request, but there’s a fantastic opportunity (30 percent is the thing they will inform you) that it will more than this, and by how much you will ask? They don’t have any clue! I waited 20 additional days for my things to become deliverered, all while sleeping in a night bed, and then they called the day before to tell me my things was being delivered to the next morning at 7am, although I had been in my only holiday of the summer 5 hours off, on day two of a four day excursion significance, I needed to push back into the middle of the nighttime, and missed more than half of my holiday.

And upon shipping more”charges” and because they already have all of your cash, they simply wish to add insult to injury and find a couple more bucks from you, once you’re at your wits end.

WORST EXPERIENCE. They’re SCAM artists and destroyed the exciting adventure of going for me. Utilize anyone else!

    Terrible

The movement was assume to become picked-up on June 29 or 30 however they were unable to make it before July1 but this was the afternoon that the new tenant took more so we needed to cover extra because they were overdue. The transfer was supposed to provide on July 10th however we’re still awaiting its shipping in Charlotte. We’re suppose to go on holiday starting July 29th but what do we do because the holiday spot is more than a 5 hour off and nobody will tell us if we’ll be receiving our possessions will send and it’s currently 15 working days ahead. Can we proceed and risk having to depart the very first evening of a paid holiday. Can I be starting teaching rather than having my clothing? It’s July 29th and it’s now a month because this nightmare began.

Touch of Class Movers no-showed and never refunded my deposit

My husband setup transferring support out of California to Texas via Touch of Class Movers (TOCM). TOCM took a deposit to program the moving ceremony so a 10 percent deposit was created 6/26/17 along with the transferring date/time was set for Friday, 6/30/17 involving 9am-2pm. The movers never revealed and upon phoning TOCM’s telephone number several times daily, we were just given explanations for flaws in displaying up. We had been confident the movers were in their way, just delayed – mentioning parking problems with customers before us at the day. Within their own contract drawn up for their clients, the organization asserts that if they’re not supplied with adequate parking to their trucks, then that customer is going to be skipped. If that is true, I am not certain why they’d delay the remainder of the day’s customers for something like this. Subsequently another reason we were awarded yet another time we predicted was traffic. We were only told of those delays when WE known as Touch of Class Movers. Never were we given any note of the on TOCM’s time. They eventually told us that the movers could appear by 8pm rather than to our surprise, they never revealed. They also said that in the event the movers didn’t show that night (the way they wouldn’t know for certain, I don’t understand ), the movers could phone us Sunday (7/2/17) to arrange a time to pick up our furniture daily. Nobody called us. That Friday night following the movers bailed on us, we composed an email to the individual at TOCM who was emailing us ahead, telling them how disappointed we were at getting our relocation to Texas postponed because of these and wanted a refund. According to the organization’s site, Touch of Class Movers isn’t open on weekends (a moving business not available on weekends ( go figure). We waited to hear from them the next Monday (7/3/17) but we have no telephone or email back from them. My husband ended up reaching them out AGAIN to ask when we ought to anticipate our refund and not only did we NOT get one apology, we had been told we would be getting a refund within 2-3 business days and have yet to be reimbursed now well over a week after. I am afraid I’ve been duped by these people and am considering having my whole credit card number changed because I do not trust these people with my advice. I just wanted my money back (an apology would be nice, too) so that I could proceed with my life and scramble to get another moving firm last-minute without even missing the cash I paid into Touch of Class Movers. I dread other individuals are cheated by Touch of Class Movers too. A complaint was registered with the Better Business Bureau and I urge everyone else that was wronged by Touch of Class Movers do exactly the same.

    Long-distance move from Illinois
    Horrible move

I obtained a quotation from Beau to our forthcoming movement from IL to FL. It had been what we believed a terrific quotation se we reserved the transfer. After saying all of our furniture and also being advised that is a specific amount of cubic feet we had been doubtful. I achieved to Beau several times stressed that we certainly had far over we had been allotted in distance, Beau promised me that he put everything in the machine and we’re alright with nothing to be concerned about. Moving day came along with the foreman explained here is the 892 cubic feet plus we only laughed and said no other method is that our things fitting in there. After he began packaging and loading the truck that the transfer price then plummeted and our worst nightmare had come true. My 3200 move today costs me 7700. Not only did the cost double they’re currently holding my possessions hostage. I place in my paperwork to your first available date for shipping on 7/05/17. I have never heard from shipment the 24 hours earlier so I started phoning in and was subsequently advised by the office supervisor who its a 5-10 interval from that very first date of shipping to the own good to arrive. This firm has loaded up my house on 06/28/17 and its own 07/10/17 and that I still don’t have any furniture rather than one single person can provide me some advice on if my stuff is going to be sent. I wouldn’t ever recommend this firm to anybody. They have horrible customer service and retains your items hostage for no real reason.

Do not use Touch of Class!

I had several businesses contact me in my transfer and I travelled together with Touch of Xlaaa because the rep, Suzie, appeared honest and friendly. I was incorrect. My closing cost doubled in the quotation given and that I was billed over $200 in tape! When I talked to the office supervisor Catherine, all I essentially got was that it had been my fault. Together with the cost and horrible customer support, I would not recommend this firm to my worst enemy. Pay the higher cost and receive a reliable moving company!

    Their name said it all

I got quotes from many companies and theirs had been fair. What made the transfer together so unbelievable was 1. The moment my agent took with me to make sure I knew the procedure two. The last price was quite near the original quote 3. My delivery was quite quick in comparison with their estimated period 4. My goods came in tip top form! I couldnt ask for much more. Due Touch of Class, it looked like much more than only a touch!
