We moved our family out of Zollikon, ZH into Beaver Creek, CO at June/July 2020. The encounter was flawless… when compared with our previous 9 moves in Europe, to the US and Asia. The group was diligent, had the essential attention to detail tackling our antics and glass ware… and everything came without harm or anything lost or broken. Highly recommended business for definitely an global move.

Employed them in 2015 to transfer a container of home products from Bern, Switzerland into the US East Coast. Our experience was great. They had been on time, the team was speedy and wrapped/packed items correctly. We’d no breakage, despite quite a few delicate antiques.

A couple of months ago, my husband and I chose to relocate from Switzerland (Neuchâtel) into Boston, USA, and also we contacted several European firms to perform our relocation. We had several unique possibilities, but also the one which caught our attention the most was Swiss Transferring Services; quite responsive with queries, and neighborhood to Switzerland (where we now had been going out ), making it simpler. Worst choice we chose! And, I want to be certain, they WEREN’T the lowest priced -in all -.

I feel the man who’d been our contact before then proceeded on holiday. We had someone else replace him. Fluent communication ceased in the instant that they picked up our items, which left us quite nervous. All of the info we’ve had following this, was later us asking it (and after up).

Our container has been stuck inside their warehouse for at least 5 months. When flagged to these which our expectations, even as in our quotation, was that our container could require 6 to 8 months to be sent -and it was still in Switzerland! – they advised us, seriously, which was composed in their quotation was”in their warehouse”. Yeah, perhaps, but nobody said us that, that they would remain exactly the exact same quantity of time inside their warehouse. How do we understand!?
It was not said in our quotation either that nobody could tell us in which our items were, so that we’d have to beg for advice. When we’d send an email saying that we weren’t pleased with their support, they would just dismiss it.

Our stuff sent from Europe 6 months when they picked this up. 6 months our stuff had been only in warehouse two hours away from our house in Europe. We FINALLY obtained our items yesterday. It required them 77 times to send our items. This makes it two MONTH AND A HALF. In the event that you were wondering whether our expectations were incorrect: within their site is obviously written that Europe into North America is 6-8 months — door to door. If they’d told me initially I would take so long, which could have been nice. We might have planned for this (take a little more winter clothing and warmer coats, some excess kitchen utilities, etc). However, they never did. And we are totally aware that legally they’re shielded (yes, it had been composed in the contract which it had been 5 months because their warehouse), but who’d think that’s economically effective – to them – to maintain it 5 months there? However, some customer-care would not have hurt.

Besides all of this, what bothered me the most wasn’t their incompetence. This was the way that they handled us in the minute our items have been picked up. At a particular stage, they even told my husband that I”did not know what how global moves operate”. That is my third global move. However , if I had been a logistics specialist, I would not have worked together. That is for certain! And, essentially, you don’t talk badly of your clients (for their spouses!)
