I reserved two men for 3 hours to move me from my little studio flat. I’ve moved several times before and that’s about the quantity of time it’s taken previously. It took two hours to load up the vehicle and also a few of those men spent 15-20 minutes at the time in my toilet (yes, about the clock). The 20 second drive for my new place took them 3 hours and they didn’t arrive at my new location till 9:00 at nighttime. Then they took 2.5 hours to maneuver me to my new location and attempted to bill me for an hour of driving. I sat outside waiting to get them for nearly 3 hours. I return to my previous apartment at midnight to discover that the 1 man had clogged my bathroom and hadn’t fixed it or told me on it, therefore it was sitting there for 6 months. Disgusting. I needed to dip it and wash it up, excellent finish to a dreadful 9 hour shifting encounter. The 1 man also shouted at me about the telephone. I phoned Swiftway several occasions and requested them to call me back to go over everything; it’s been over a week and now that I still haven’t got a call back.
