Student movers is dreadful, liars, exceptionally poor customer support rather than dependable at least. Don’t use this”Business” as you’ll be stuck.

Starving Students had stopped taking my calls and also told me to speak with Competent Moving. They have been so rude and blamed me for having”poor” boxes. Extremely unprofessional.

This provider is awful in every way I could envision. To begin with , they mislead you with pricing, they showed up late, they had been S-L-O-W, didn’t give stock until movement was finished, which required an extraordianry quantity of time. I just moved 3 cubes and it took them 10 hours, and wished to charge almost $300 in gasoline expenses and other fees (never revealed up front)along with hourly rate.

The comapny then bullied me by threats of selection, etc and didn’t wish to listen about my difficulties. They also said I couldn’t make claims when I didn’t pay my bill in full. They understood we were just moving two miles off and loaded all of the little stuff to the truck first, not having space for both bicycles and our three ladders (8, 6, and 10 feet ). When we complained that they should have sufficient space for things, they left room for both – and 8-foot ladders (those we might have transferred together with our Camry), not the 10-footer. They had been bucking for additional time and excursion all along. NEVER AGAIN.

When they came they stumbled upon an additional $100 charge for Saturday. I stated they understood the movement was Saturday after I scheduled and obtained the quotation. They had a”take it or leave it” mindset, realizing there wasn’t much that I could do on it about a Saturday morning.
Secondly, they jammed things to the truck that they damaged a couple of thing, bent my bike wheel, etc.. I would not ever use them again and don’t recommend them. They’ll lie to provide you with the best quote then inflate it whenever they arrive.
I gave one star as they were fairly straight. That’s all I will say to them.

Horrible!I wish I’d have read the reviews before I picked those men. Not only did they illegally charge my card around $50 dollars extra(my charge card business is disputing since I still have the receipt which reveals authorization for just $360, maybe not $407) I can not get anybody to call me back to dispute that the additional fees for stretch wrapping and mattress pad cap. I wasn’t told of anybody this by my quotation and come next day that I had been advised,”okay simply to allow you to know that it’s $35 for its stretch wrapping and $10 to your mattress cover. All of these are optional of course, but then you need to sign a form which states we aren’t accountable for your things getting filthy the truck is filthy so I’d propose it” do I actually have an option at this time?
