Most dreadful and dishonest moving business I understand. Did not appear in any way! Our customer has a spinal cord injury… can’t transfer himself (literally) or his or her property. They said they’d allow it to be right and could move him for free the next morning… did not appear. Don’t do active together. They have not refund his deposit either. They’re horrible and they won’t appear. They retaining saying that the paid another firm at their own cost to perform it, but that firm”didn’t appear” and so they had no cost. Additionally they maintain saying the refunded deposit, however its not showing as a pending trade in customer accounts.
Their cancellation coverage is unethical and deceptive. DO NOT USE THEM. I no longer wanted their services well within a month prior to the transfer date, they refused to repay a 25 percent deposit. Once I setup the transfer that they NEVER SAID ANYTHING concerning the residue being NON refundable. VERY DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICE. Utilize ANOTHER COMPANY.
If I could provide negative five stars, I’d. I hired the business because I admire that they allegedly hire specialists, but this wasn’t true for my transfer at least. I paid $400 for a little one bedroom proceed of fifteen miles, in which I had all packed and boxes piled together. They had been over an hour late, even though I had been the very first movement of the afternoon, and their answer was that”they simply got a late start on the afternoon.” It had been two children, probably smaller than me (and I am a 5’6, 115 pounds female). My boyfriend was only supposed to manage the movement, but he ended up doing the whole move. The children had no clue what they were doing and can hardly lift a box. I showed up four hours into the movement and my boyfriend was the sole lifting the heavy boxes, even while a child pushed a box onto a dolly and another walked behind him. I began carrying boxes in my work clothes and proceeded quicker carrying heavier boxes compared to either of those children. I asked to talk to the operator or a supervisor, but still have not heard back from anybody. After having unpacked today, a number of my things is broken also. It was God awful, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.
Saying that Special Ops movers hadn’t lost my marble rack, my 5 shelf glass wrought iron, my two glass end tables, my wheelchair, my floor lamp, and my two step stools, my boxing purse, my desk chair, my grandsons train desk, my moms oak table shirt, my grandsons pool blowups, my grandsons hockey gear & basketballs in the Nuggets & football ball & nerf guns & other outdoor toys, & that I understand but can not yet confirm each of the XMAS décor & Halloween décor in plastic baths! I am positive that when I’ve finished unpacking the listing is going to be a good deal longer. How incompetent could a business be & still maintain business!!!!! Additionally, we’ve got a lot of boxes along with other things that appeal to others & Special Ops does not care!!!
This ensemble is a joke. I spent two evenings awaiting them only to be given explanations both times. I’ve been passed around from a’Supervisor’ to a different about getting my deposit refunded. I left yet another message tonight.
All these fools prefer to align themselves with the army .The army is a nice business that gets things done. These people are the contrary. Leslie or Tanya will happily reserve your”appointment” but if you request a refund, then all of the sudden they can not do that.
Do not book with together if you don’t would like to dispose of money and time.
A quarter of a celebrity is a lot of score for them.
1 star has been much too generous. Unprofessional, and much from”Particular” in any manner! Late, broken, broken, no returned or communication calls- all of the beautiful things I’m reading today and wish I’d paid closer attention to. This Denver workplace is questionable to say the very least. My card has been billed once I refused to cover no communication at all. Certainly the worst potential situation from start to finish.
Brief history:
My spouse and I transfer 90 percent of all of the boxes and tiny items before the movers showing up. The movers just had to move the furniture at the two bedroom, research, and half of the furniture in the living area. Besides the furniture, there were a couple boxes downstairs, a terrace dining table, and a couple of things in the garage.
The business didn’t arrive on the moving day. Arrived 2.5 hours late the following day. Sent 1 Agency and one child that has been in training. The required 10 hours to transfer my things about 15 kilometers up the street, and dropped all those screws to by beds.
I really could go on, but the overall theme supporting my review is that the business as a whole is incompetent.
Avoid these guys.
Special ops moving business is deceptive. They arrived five hours late to its transfer, delivered movers which were incapable of finishing the job. They were exceptionally untrained and uneducated about the best way best to move heavy products. They shipped me a three”guy”team that may consisted of 2 brand new lanky men and a little woman that reported that she wouldn’t lift something heavy. It took them over six hours to finish a job which has taken two to three each time we’ve moved. They exude our kitchen table, each one of our banisters in both homes and many floorboards in addition to big gashes from the doors and floors. Each and every bit of furniture needed multiple gouges/scratches inside them. They didn’t complete the job and when they got into our last destination they transferred a few things into the home and then drop the remainder at the garage and onto the driveway. They didn’t test out along with me. I talked to the supervisor Leo and Mike several times during the afternoon and they were quite unhelpful. They just transferred 25 things and it took them over 6 1/2 hours and cost me over $1000. In addition they stole our pushbroom in addition to our kitchen Cabinets.
If I could provide negative stars, I’d. This firm was a complete JOKE and they need to be researched.
We hired Special Ops to move us from our house in Aurora, shop our possessions for a three week period and after that move us to our new house in Northern Colorado. It was only when our transfer into our house that we experienced that the nightmare which has been Particular Oops (I am Ops).
I called the day before outside movement to affirm that everything was on course. Leslie supported with me that we had been scheduled to get a 5/11 delivery using a 3pm-5pm window. She said that they would start loading their truck along with our possessions at 8am and then be in their way. She supported all times and dates.
About 5/11 (our planned transferred date) at 4:30pm I hadn’t heard from anybody. I tried to predict. No response. I tried multiple times with no response. I had been expecting to obtain an ETA and provide more specific instructions into the evolution as our house isn’t searchable on GPS because of it being brand new structure. I eventually got connected with”shipment” about 5pm. He explained once he abandoned the warehouse a few hours before they were still loading my things and then that”Mike the warehouse supervisor “‘d call me in about 15 minutes and when I did not hear from him, call back. 30 minutes or so after I still hadn’t heard from him so I phoned back. No response.
Mike eventually called me and was quite flippant and snarky. He explained they did not begin loading the truck before 11am. When I questioned why as Leslie had advised me that the loading would start at 8am he said”well that it was shut”. Um, just how is a three hour gap believed”near”?! Then he became defensive and suggested that it was our fault since we”have a whole lot of things”. If I am not confused, you KNEW how much material I’d well beforehand. After all, you DID transfer it in to your pods???? Then he said they’d be there at 8pm and then”to not blow off his telephone”.
8pm rolls around and still no indication of those. No telephone calls, texts, and zero movers. I attempt to call. No reply. I attempt texting. Nothing back. He finally reacts about 8:30pm to inform me that they only finished loading the previous rabbit and that he’d call me at 15 minutes. 45 seconds later, nothing. No telephone, no text, wireless silence. We attempt to telephone. No response.
We needed to call repeatedly (16 days to be precise ) for him to answer your telephone. While I do know that there are security protocols in place while they men are about lifts which makes them not able to answer telephones, that was totally unacceptably. We received absolutely no communication from these men on flaws, standing. We felt as though we were being extorted together with our very own possessions.
After Mike finally answered the telephone he started cussing my husband out calling him a”p*ssy that a ** faggot” and asking him whether he wished to come down to the warehouse to”take good care of stuff”. In addition, he threatened to appear another day (suggesting there could be some kind of physical altercation). He was yelling at us for calling him repeatedly. Regrettably, that has been the only method we can find a response from those individuals. It was as though they had been holding our things hostage. We eventually got from him that they’d be in our house at 9am the following day.
On 5/12 in 9am there wasn’t a sight of these movers (surprise). I wound up texting Mike and simmer for the evening before. I felt utterly ridiculous for doing this as I’m the person who should get an apology however at this stage I had been ready to do/say something to receive our things! Additionally, I asked for their ETA. No reply. It was not until my husband sent him a text saying that when we did not hear back from them, we would need to get law enforcement concerned that I discovered back. Mike thanked me for apologizing saying that it was a very long night (he never apologized to me personally or confessed that he was from line) and stated the movers had been fueling and at course.
At 11:30am they eventually appear. When they started the vehicle, it seemed like our possessions were just pitched and filled in there. It ended up being a mess. There was water leaking from the ceiling of their vehicle, a busted door which has been virtually rotting. It is a miracle that our stuff did not fall out to the street to their way upward! Boxes marked FRAGILE were defeated, lamps were flexed, electric cords have been severed. But that is minimum to what exactly we discovered –
They broke all 3 of the TV’s. One of these has signs of water damage and also a fall. They broke a classic clock in the late 1800’s. Glass fully shattered from it and the timber broken on the trunk. Each one of the bits on the clock were first (such as the glass). That can be irreplaceable. I’ve a 30 year old rocking horse which my grandfather left that they broke off the foot of.
It was obvious that absolutely no thought was obtained when dealing with these items. We’re not certain if things were broken from retaliation or when it was only a complete absence of care/concern. To be treated in the way that we were was inexcusable. To be known as names, guaranteed in and yelled at was not professional or appropriate. We all wanted was communicating and nobody can give us that. It’s a frightening sense to own EVERYTHING YOU OWN into somebody else’s ownership and be unable to get ahold of anybody. I believe if I would not have called repeatedly to FINALLY get somebody at stake, nobody could have phoned me to tell me of any flaws.
Have used them three times today. Consistently very efficient, considerate and cautious with my furniture. When they packed my items last year for storage, then that which was wrapped carefully therefore that nothing was scraped. Then this season once I moved they unwrapped and put items exactly where I needed them. Would recommend them highly!
Only recently moved with Specific ops & I wish to urge them since they did an great job. I moved three times in my personal life & from those 3 moving companies I first utilized they had been the very best!! I used them even though a number of these reviews although I was doubtful. Anyhow I went together once I met with the man who arrived to give me a quote & I felt familiar together. Thumbs up for all these movers. Fantastic job!
We had a great moving encounter with Particular ops.The staff arrived punctually, they were quite efficient and professional, and worked really tough to complete what earlier than anticipated. Thank You!
The Denver location ought to be researched and a person ought to be detained!! They’ve dropped and ruined nearly all my parents possessions. Everything smelled like marijuana, box were started and rummaged through. My parents simply retired and moved into Arizona, Specia Op’s were designed to send to her on Friday afternoon, after many telephone calls, somebody finally called her back saying that there were”mechanical difficulties,” would probably be there Saturday afternoon, Saturday morning came and went, now nobody returned a telephone call!! Saturday night they showed up, overlooking over half of their possessions, along with the inspector advised us they did not even load the truck before 11:30 Friday night!! There are not any”Mechanical issues”! After being told that her possessions would maintain a pod before prepared to proceed, their material was only thrown into a wearhouse they did not understand who is things was who is!! (In the movers) They load up guessing what could belong to this individual!! The things that did arrive were seriously damaged!! My mothers 80 year-old buffet and table were scrape quite poorly, seats were broken, and vest looks like someone struck a complete during it! They state they’re”vetren” friendly, so my father is a vet, so my parents are older citizens, and that is the way they deal with them?! They will not return a telephone call!! Even the”owner” Leo is very rude, unprofessional, and competitive! Scheduled a meeting together for 5:30 pm He eventually showed up 47 minuets late! All I will say is god that I was a police officer with me, I could not envision his behaviour in the event the officer was not there. I felt really threatened! If you like your possessions do not use this business!! Read their testimonials and consider the over 40 complaints registered with the BBB!!! Stay away, far off!!
I had a window from 12pm to 2pm. In 1:34pm, I got a call from Richard, who stated he had been on his way out of Denver (my flat is half an hour from Denver) and could knock my movement out in one hour. In 3pm, he still had not arrived, so I called to determine where he had been. He said he’d gotten caught up in paperwork and could be leaving shortly. When I asked if he expected to be at my flat, he said half an hour. He told me to not worry; he’d be carried out in one hour (that was basically a moot point, because I’d anticipated him no more than 2pm). He FINALLY came at 4pm, two hours after his window. While I know a window is a quote, I anticipate lateness to be attributed to unforeseen conditions, not somebody choosing to perform paperwork rather than finishing a scheduled movement.
When he came, I wasn’t home. He phoned me to inform me that he had been by my bunny (he had been to be moving my things out of my flat to the bunny ), and that I informed him I was not home but could send out my husband. Richard responded,”I just wanted to allow you to know I was here.” Regardless of what he wanted me to do, I told him he can return to my flat, as somebody was there. Then he told me I did not need to be impolite; he only wanted to meet me and was by my bunny. I said,”I know you’re from the bunny. I’m not home, but my husband is. I’ll have him come right out.”
When my husband moved outside, Richard instantly told me how”rude” I was, calling me a bi***, along with my husband responded I was frustrated since he came TWO HOURS later he stated he’d. Richard stated not everything has to be proposed. Really? I’m pretty certain a move does have to be intended, and when someone says that they will be someplace at a given time, that is what is expected. Then he told my husband he expects we do not have children, since we certainly can not go with the stream. When my husband said we’re currently expecting our first child, Richard responded that it was unlucky! Side note – Though Richard came at 4pm, he could not begin the movement afterward, since he had two children in his backseat and was awaiting his wife to receive them.
When the move eventually started, it did not get much better. Richard stated the f-word at least twenty five occasions, oftentimes yelling it. Gage, the 15 year old he brought with him to assist, fell SEVERAL of my boxes and never apologized or offered to assess if anything was broken. I was planning to buy furniture pads, which I had been told was a choice when scheduling my transfer, but Richard came in his private car with just plastic wrap (that he ran from ), therefore I wasn’t able to. He told me several times he knew why I had been grumpy (since I was pregnant, not since he had been two hours late and then INCREDIBLY rude and unprofessional). He kept talking about what an outstanding plumber that he had been and how blessed we had been to have him along with his 30 decades of expertise, which could not have been more ironic. He shot at least four private telephone calls while he was on the clock together with us. I had a desk, that was transferred in my flat with no issue, and he wasn’t able to get out it. He got so angry at the situation that, after crying fuc* and shi* repeatedly, he took a hammer to it. Fortunately, I desired the table to be placed from the skip, but it made me wonder exactly what he’d have achieved had I had the thing put in my own pod.
As it was time to cover, my husband steered every mover $10, which I presumed was exceedingly generous given the conditions, and Richard complained it was not enough! From begin to finish, this movement has been the worst experience potential. It should’ve been easy and simple – he and Gage literally only had to walk down our things a sidewalk and into a pod – but Richard made it gloomy. He had been rude, unprofessional, offensive, and didn’t come ready. He couldn’t have supplied worse customer support. Additionally, the movement lasted over two hours, regardless of Richard’s repeated assurances that he would do it in one. Last, I called the organization’s”customer service” section, and they are not much better than Richard – I had been told I’d find a call back and still haven’t heard anything. I picked this company due to their focus on encouraging the army (hassle of my brothers are currently serving), but neither of my movers was a veteran (or specialist, for that matter). In reality, if my husband asked Richard about his ceremony, Richard scoffed and responded,”The fuc* could anyone join the army?”
DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY – you’ll be sorely tested! HORRIBLE! This isn’t a joke, rather than exaggerated. I’ve read the review guidelines. This inspection website isn’t reliable – there’s not any way for me to check off’stained, chipped, broken, and on the ideal hand side of this review. I am attempting to conserve another unsuspecting victim out of utilizing this firm. We’re devastated with the result to our house things. More than half of these things are destroyed with stains, dirt, deep scratches on timber products,,,, and also the service was dreadful. Disrespectful delivery guys. Passive-aggressive behaviour with placing the shipping time and date in any respect. The very first day, we waited in vain for 2 hours for our shipping, after spending them up to your move-in, and upfront for storage. Instead, they NEVER CAME to send, would NOT get phone messages or texts. Afterward , they claimed we hadn’t signed the requisite form for shipping, despite the fact that they had emailed it months before, it had been wrong, and NOT upgraded to the newest proper shipping address. This occurred over 40 phone calls, texts, and even e-mails hoping to make them give us a different shipping date. Leslie was the sole man there that assisted us, or we probably would STILL not possess our house contents. For your re-try/re-schedule shipping date: whenever we waited for 7.5 hours – all day together with just two little children expecting to see their own cherished items that were in storage – that they were supposed to get there at a 11:00 – 1:00’window’, , they wouldn’t call us with check to observe where they had been, and they FINALLY came at 7:00 pm,’d the contents jumbled and tangled in the rear of the vehicle, nothing had been shielded , or wrapped, the dining table table shirt was dropped on the brand new hardwood flooring, our kid’s small sofa, a precious memory of this nursery, had enormous dirt stains on it, yet another little sofa was mashed and misshapen and the cushions used to carry up things on the ground BED of their truck itself. Virtually all of those contents are all destroyed. TERRIBLE HORRIBLE remedy from everybody in the business we talked with, (except Leslie) into the exact imply and’punishing’ storage and shipping guys. Don’t USE! Pictures availalabe upon petition!!! NOT EVEN ONE STAR IS EARNED. UNPROFESSIONAL. UNRELIABLE.
Don’t USE!!! CROOKS, These individuals took my deposit $710.00 once I changed my mind and went to a different business. I informed them in 24 hours that I needed my deposit back. They wouldn’t give it me back. Beneath Colorado State Law, you’ve got 72 hours to cancel any contract. I didn’t sign any contract. I will need to go to small claims court. Utilize All My Sons moving firm 303-495-7600. Considerably more economical. I’m a disabled veteran that is the reason why I went for this moving business. If I could save as many households from utilizing this firm. I’d have at least some gratification. And yes I’ve read the review guidelines. If I could give it a zero star I’d.
This business operates on a lure ans switch strategy. I got an estimate for $700 in Mover Dudes, and also the day of the transfer, a Special Ops truck showed up and needed an extra $1579.50 for its transfer. As I needed to vacate from the morning after , I reluctantly agreed to allow them to perform the transfer. They needed to come the following day to fill out the movement and charged me another $1670.50. They billed me $159.00 a hour for sculpting and securing our possessions, and if my wife and I visited the warehouse, then our land has been putting on the pier unprotected and accessible to anybody. The next truck, was still setting in their property nevertheless loaded for fourteen days. After wanting a second $3000 to send, I refused to pay that sum so that they did decrease the quote. Nevertheless, they refused to send anything for another 4 times, and just after I chose to the PUC and the Attorney General didn’t send my house. Every bit of my furniture was scraped or gouged poorly, and also an extremely heave glass table top had been chipped and chipped. The folks in control, Mike and Leo weren’t too co operative in communication and that I needed to devote morre cash to get a quality mattress and bedding therefore we would not need to sleep on the ground, and we needed to buy food to have some thing to consume. . Very unprofessional, and completely unreliable firm.
These movers are fantastic. They were ancient and very fast. I was concerned I would not have sufficient space but they left it all work. Really friendly and helpful! I had been dreading moving from the snow, but it functioned perfectly.
This firm was instant with a competitively priced bidding. Inform us immediately. The movers were professional and extremely proficient. We’d recommend this firm to anybody moving anything.
The driver and firm admitted that a big silver container (not our land, but being hauled in their automobile ) Broke that our 50″ LG HD flatscreen. BrandNew a couple of years back the TV was 700. (SpecialOps believed a settlement for $48 was honest ). It was a nightmare trying to get hold of them and get this solved for over 5months. Horrible customer support from begin to finish. Wish I’d better research before trusting them along with all our possessions, the testimonials for this business are dreadful.
DO NOT USE..Literally use anybody else! If I could give 0 begins I’d!
They showed up with NO TOOLS, utilized our knives and rocks and ruined all of our doors! They fell a piano then dragged it on its side into the truck. They snapped the support column on the sofa in half, shattered our pottery which was out of the 70’s, and many other products.
They did not use some of those guards we purchased for furniture so that which was horribly stained, and if they saved our stuff in storage, they believed it smart to utilize our bicycles and a little bistro dining table (on its side in the ) piled up since the foundation for thicker boxes (damaging the bicycles )
The dudes were stoned and asked us for rolling newspapers throughout the movement (super professional) and they did not even complete the move!
When you submit a claim, they need receipts (70’s pottery, 25 year-old pristine piano) and utilize it as a means to get from having to cover damages. They say that we simply don’t wish to cover fDO NOT USE..Literally use anybody else! If I could give 0 begins I’d!

They say that we simply don’t wish to cover their honest hard work, once we’ve worked with MANY moving businesses and paid thankfully. And in circumstances where things were ruined with different businesses, they sent somebody out to check the damage..none of the receipt BS.
Seriously, DO NOT USE! You may save yourself thousands of dollars by paying a little more to proceed with a more commendable company!or their fair hard work, once we’ve worked with MANY moving businesses and paid thankfully. And in circumstances where things were ruined with different businesses, they sent somebody out to check the damage..none of the receipt BS.
After we moved out of storage to our home we used two labor movers rather than a business and they successfully finished the complete movement (piano included) in 3 weeks, 1/4 the price tag, and no harm!
Special Ops Transferring lent me on the telephone for 85/hour, no extra gas prices and a three hour max time period. They were two hours late on a perfect weather day, Saturday without a visitors. Purposely took their time and turned into a three hour job to 5 hours. Way too long to get a 1 bedroom, 13 boxes, no appliances. They ruined my furniture and required 45 minutes to drive 6 miles between the possessions. In the conclusion, they included in an additional 85 gas charge in the contract at the fine print. Very dishonest and inadequate support. They refused to dismiss for being overdue and providing inferior support.
To begin with, I would like to explain that the team itself was considerate and did not quit working for even a moment regardless of bad states.
So apparently a great deal of problems were brought on by rain the day before. I know (now) that rain-slick ramps are dangerous, but if they still had x amount of tasks that the evening before and we were the very first job scheduled the following day, they ought to have at least alerted us and at most scheduled more team. Furthermore, they would not have been postponed by rain in load/unload when they came at any time prior to 4pm. It would have also been nice to know that rain may delay work, because we needed to vacate the apartment the day of their scheduled movement.
Besides that, the bad men were awarded an unusable dolly so – together with the majority of the space from door to truck being staircase – they moved almost two times as long as some of the quotes that I accumulated. Again, I know that it is an *quote * however 6.5 hours vs. 3-4?!?!
With all of this, we are requesting a 2-hour reduction ($176). We are prepared to negotiate about that, but do not have the chance since they still haven’t called back in 3 times even with us after up several occasions.
**UPDATE** After submitting testimonials on multiple sites, they finally called us back and said they will provide a 1-hour credit. It is far better than nothing and at least they contacted back us, so that I changed my rating from 1 star to 3.
I will cut to the chase and forget about being nearly 3 hours beyond the show up window. All these inexperienced movers (19-22 year old children ) place a gap and scratches from the walls of the brand new house that we shut on this morning. They dented the walls from different locations and scraped the stair railings. I filed a claim and they refused to take responsibility. I needed to submit a complaint to the BBB to attempt to find some settlement. They repeatedly refused to either pay for those compensation or refund his money ($340). They said that they can not be accountable for damage that happens in tight distances but they did not even focus on the pics I ship which clearly demonstrate that this did not occur in a tight place. Save yourself the trouble and do not employ this business
I phoned and made moving bookings with this business a week prior to my move. I had been quoted on the telephone a rate of $44.00 a hour per transferring worker, I consequently made a digital deposit of $100.00. As soon as I got the confirmation email the quotation estimate was shifted into a rate of $133.00 per hour each worker at one time estimate of 5 hours. I had been ready to overlook the cost change and decided of breaking down all of my furniture and shifting everything downstairs for simple access and courtesy of these movers.
Arrival time anticipated was from 12:00pm- 2:00pm at 2:20pm with time worries that I achieved to the business owner and soon got a call back and had been advised that there’s”Severe Weather Delays” and the movers are expected to be two hours late. After waiting 2-1/2 hours after about 4:30 I got a call in the movers describing they’d currently be a second 45 minute delay. I was quite upset and achieved to the person who owns the business via phone and was advised that there was still”Weather waits” and the proprietor started to become rude and upset with my daughter and I. I verbally became angry and told the proprietor that we’re a family using a”Disabled Autistic kid and that is unacceptable rather than acceptable!!”
After abruptly hanging up with the proprietor, the proprietor and movers always called my telephone angrily. I had to switch off my phone to prevent the many angry calls that I received from this business. I’m outraged that HOME ADVISOR would even recommend this business on their website.
They left my handicapped child with no bed to sleep on tonight, I’m having to reserve a hotel room before I could find another moving company affirmed. This Isn’t OKAY!!!
I work for a government nonprofit and for a business to be rude and harassing me through telephone isn’t OKAY!
I’m disgusted and outraged. SO SAD in the humanity of the provider.
Don’t use The movers had a struggle after being in the home 15 min. The Lead man walked out and allow a man with the business for a week along with yet another man who was ill. Three hours afterwards, the person who was ill left and his brother showed up who did not work for the firm!!! It required motif 4 eXtra hours, they unloaded and reloaded the truck so that my possessions could match. The child did not even understand how to complete the paperwork and known as MIKE, his manager who I believe was also the proprietor who had been CRUDE They arrived with no resources to disassemble or reassemble and needed my 96 year-old dad put the bed together. I needed to help them lift furniture up the stairs. They did not unwrap my bedroom furniture and cracked my dresser armoire and nightstands, set a gash in the wall out of whee I transferred out of, and dropped my mattress protector in my brand new mattress they billed me for 4 additional hours that it required them. I informed him there was suppose to be three guys and I finished with two a a inexperienced employees that’s why it a shot 4 additional hours. He said you have the work done did not you? I filed a claim in May and only got a letter which their findings led to not owing me anything! I shall register with all the BBC also. I’d really like to attach pics but can not from that ipad.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Unprofessional, exceptionally shady firm. Use at your own risk. Failed to wrap possessions when picked up, billed hundreds more than mentioned, big objects transferred were broken, filthy, and overlooking. Showed up 9 hours late for delivery. The supervisor, James, is the rudest man I’ve ever talked to and also the person who owns the business, Mike Gayton, is somehow even worse.
They fraudulently communicated with my credit card company to get paid double. Now they won’t reply any calls from me or my credit card business.
I strongly encourage anyone who has had a lousy encounter with Special Ops Transferring to file a complaint with the Colorado Public Utilities Commission (PUC) and some other consumer protection service. http://www.dora.state.co.us/pls/real/CCTS_oWEB.trans_complaint_form
Do yourself a favor and DON’T USE THIS COMPANY! Ever, ever, ever! Inadequate business practices, culture and unskilled movers.
I’ve used this company many times previously. I have always had considerate and responsible men and women appear. They ran a small late one time due to some difficulty with all the people who they transferred ahead of me. However they had good communication and were very good. I’d completely recommend these men. They were very careful with all my things and a terrific group of folks to use.
Initial move was out of our workplace into their storage. They’ve overcharged and was 4 hours late. They then transferred us out of their storage into our newest office. They’ve grossly overcharged again and this time was 2.5 hours late. Unprofessional movers, however considerate, extremely inadequate direction.
I start off by stating, we used that business previously and these movers did a fantastic job. We chose to work with them again a couple of years later (a week) and also have experienced a dreadful experience. I don’t advise you even try because apparently if there are problems, they won’t solve them. The movers were ill prepared for our move and didn’t have the right equipment like a furniture dolly for our fridge, which caused slight damage to our hardwood flooring and front doorway. My husband and our friend had to assist with all facets of this move. The movers were astonished in the conclusion to get a hint and left us feel uneasy. (They had been friendly throughout the movement for the most part.) We didn’t receive the 10% veteran reduction. What we are most concerned about, however, is that the movers conducted over our newly laid sod 4 occasions using their shifting truck, damaging the integrity of their lawn. We must have it refilled in with grime and the sod has to be substituted or our lawn will permanently sit unevenly which has been confirmed by 3 distinct landscapers. When we hunted resolution, Special Ops didn’t return our telephone calls for days. Eventually we were granted a claims form however it didn’t match our claim as it was concentrated on damaged product. As soon as I submitted images to Special Ops asking a settlement including reimbursement, they reacted that bud grows back in two weeks, then sent a second email stating they’d come have a look. We re-explained that our concern wasn’t with lifeless grass, but together with our lawn’s integrity that needs to be substituted and approved their offer to come and take a look. The client support email doesn’t have a contact number or title attached to it, neither does the sort. We asked for a contact name and number and time to anticipate them because we feel extremely uncomfortable with not understanding who to anticipate or when to anticipate them. We never heard back when requested this advice, just”I will come by in the’m”. We just want compensation for harm directly caused by the movers. Their lack of contact and response info is about and incredibly unprofessional.
Did a great job on the transfer from Denver into Lakewood. The weather wasn’t good but what left it safe and solid. Can urge
The organization did a fantastic job. The men worked hard and also the cost was reasonable. Not the cheapest not the greatest. Id recommend exceptional ops moving.
Indifference and quiet. That’s what you may count on from Special Ops Transferring if some thing goes wrong with the relocation, indifference and silent. I hired them to transfer me three months ago. They didn’t send all of my home to my new residence. After bringing this to their attention I am told I will be contacted by a supervisor or dispatcher at the conclusion of company one day after. Nobody ever calls. I predict double the next Monday, no response either time. I predict Tuesday, hit someone and’m told that a supervisor will phone me. Eventually I get a call later that day. Can it be a supervisor like I had been told would phone me? Nope. It is among my movers, that chooses to only assert everything with me rather than apologizes because of his or her own mistake. They found one of my things but he will not hear me once I describe about a box filled with my private property that’s still lacking. He asserts, dismisses mepersonally, but I push at him to find it. Days go by with no contact by the corporation. I call many days and leave messages. Ultimately, within a week after an agent called Jessica reaches out. I clarify my frustration in the corporation’s indifference and unprofessionalism. She assures me she will be staying in contact concerning this thing, that my property that they did locate will probably be returned to me personally and that they will search for my still missing house. Then, after that night that I receive an email using a claims form to complete. They’re hiding behind their limited liability. Under the recommendations of a family friend (a lawyer ), I refuse to fulfill out it. I search the return of my own home, not a test for penny on the buck of its own worth. Rather , I provide a comprehensive list of the lost box with images. I even provide an image of the kind of box that they are packaged with (I purchased 5 of the exact same big box in a used box business in Aurora and still had another 4). In addition, I supply a comprehensive collection of potential results for your own box to assist them cross their T’s and dot their I am in finding it. More times go by with no communication. Afterward, I am back in it. Hounding down them to reach anybody. I am frustrated beyond words in their indifference. Three months without settlement, with no explanation of anything happening, without needing their home they did find over a couple of weeks before, minus the positioning of my still missing land and with no apology due to their failure to competently perform the job I compensated them to get (sending ALL my house from point A to point B). Indifference and silence is all I get away from these. Three times today I have been told that a supervisor named James would phone mepersonally, being ensured all 3 occasions like it was a complete fact he’d call. He’s never known. Indifference and quiet. No attempt to return my house. No apology. No communication. Simply indifference and quiet. This is the way this business deals with clients who have they have encounter, indifference and quiet. Their remedy was unreal. This is unquestionably the worst company I have ever handled. Their actions speak for themselves. This firm has demonstrated a total lack of ethics, professionalism and the faintest empathy towards me as a client. I’d suggest them to nobody under some circumstance, friend or foe.
Worst experience of my entire life. Wish I’d just moved my ego.
If you are interested here is my nightmare together last Saturday. I had high hopes because my interaction with their secretary was so agreeable, but that is where their proficiency ends. I had a scheduled entrance window for 12 – 2PM and that I had been told that they would call 30 minutes before allow me to know that they’re in their way.
2PM comes about, no telephone. So I called their office to ensure I still had my appointment that they obtained my $100 deposit to book. They stated that they were running late on their own’morning’ project and could be yet another 90 minutes. By 4:30 I was getting irritated sitting at my packed up home awaiting them to call/show up thus that I give them the following call to work out when they had been near or when I must cancel and make different arrangements. I call them again and they tell me they’re”finishing up the other job today and will be leaving shortly”.
It was not until 6:15 that they eventually call me back but now they state that they are”in the store and are there in 45 minutes”. They did eventually arrive in 7PM. . .already 5-7 hours late and afterwards being lied to repeatedly since 2:00 about if they were planning to appear.
Had they never lied to me I’d have pinpointed and made other programs. However, rather instead I spent the whole day sitting about waiting for those men to reveal and if they did it wasn’t any real surprise that it took them the whole day to finish a’dawn’ job since they need to have sailors or large from the thoughts on something. I never met with two more brain dead people in my personal life.
About 8:15 I affirm they have the right address of my new house and we depart. I drove slowly in order that they could even follow me just if. I get on the on-ramp to your street but they simply keep driving right. . .right downtown to Denver. I was beside myself at the point. They call me a couple of minutes after asking if my brand new home has been in Golden. It is in Centennial, not just near. They were not going the proper way even though it had been. I needed to maintain these men’ hands for all.
So I reach the new home 20 minutes ahead of them waiting for these to appear because they moved the whole wrong path to significant traffic in downtown Denver. They billed by the hour from the manner and refused to even give me a partial refund for some of the ordeal. The 1 plumber has been asking me personal questions like how much money I earn and what I cover my house. He was surfing through my novels shooting photos of my possessions with his cell phone. These men did not quit until 10PM, that I had been too tired to even set up my bed thus slept on the sofa. These jokers destroyed my whole weekend and day.
The Monday following this I attempted to phone their office and inform them about my expertise and ask the 100 back I had been billed to’book the time slot’. Receptionist said that the supervisor will call me back within one hour. Never got a call back, no more real surprise.
Called them again Tuesday extremely livid and sense cared for and now the secretary said that the supervisor would call me back at”5 minutes”. Now I understood the games that they play and laughed in her. I told them when I did not receive a call back today I’d feel pressured to sort up this story (one that needs no embellishment) and discuss it to other people.
Eventually got a call from the supervisor and he brushed off everything stating that their”margins are tight” and could not refund me some money and that their”entrance windows are just quotes”. But when I drew up on how unprofessional the movers had been he seemed somewhat ticked away and stated he wished to speak to them and might give me a call back in one hour….go figure it’s now Wednesday day without needing a call back.
Live and learn I suppose. Do yourself a favor and prevent these folks. I also called my credit card company to issue me a new card also since I don’t expect them at all.
Save your self, pay an additional $15/ hour to get an excellent mover.
Moving business had been set to arrive involving 1-3pm on a Saturday. The truck showed up at 7pm. No telephone to inform of delay. As soon as they came, they informed me that they did not think all of the things would fit in the vehicle. As soon as I setup the movement, I had been clear about the number of things I’d (ONE bedroom flat with sofa, seat, oversized chair, dining room table with 4 chairs, bed, dresser, tall mirror, and oversize dresser). They explained that they utilize a 26 foot truck – lots of space. The truck that they came with was NOT 26 ft and had no liftgate to aid the movers. The real men that came were quite considerate. The management group was filled with explanations. Apparently, the truck broke down and they had to lease another (NOT MY FAULT). They could not send the dressers (too thick?) When they had the appropriate toilet and moving supplies – it might have been no matter. The transfer was 25 miles plus they partly moved my things at 10:30pm. They anticipated payment that I reluctantly paid (shouldn’t have), since I had been assured they would return Sunday to”complete” the transfer. I’ve not heard back from them nor expect to. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Leslie seemed nice enough about the first setup of this transfer however got testy when I asked that the email address she was able to contact mepersonally, then she asserts I gave her the wrong email address – I believe I understand my own email address. Should you use this business – buyer beware…
