Scam, liars, late, more than doubled the cist

They shipped me 4 unique quotes later we agreed about them. The salesperson never hauled again. Supervisor simply stated he should not have done it. . Launched $1,000. They had been so late PU, I needed to pay a person to wait. After on the vehicle, the fee moved to $3,000. Told them, keep it on truck, calling police, they simply came down 500. They shot it off truck, at some stage and the other truck shot it, flat tire, a day late, regustration difficulty, late again got there 8pm. Needed to tell 1 man, please pick up your trousers, dont wish to see your additional trousers, supervisor was so rude, did not offer a sh!t.

Worst experience ever. All for 1 bedroom suite and a number of boxes.

Ex-cons, gumbas, and fragile men oh my!

If you’d like a fantastic hard look in the underbelly of what is really going on in the world and also just how much cash has actually tainted people’s ideology this is the business! While we’re in the center of monetary catastrophe and pandemic this”business” (shout from the internet designer for making it resemble a legitimate company ) has no issue robbing you, breaking up your things, losing them and then telling you you’re shit out of luck. Please don’t be deceived by the imitation 5 star reviews. You’ll get locked into a”contract” and if the movers arrive at the pick up your things, they will then induce you one the place to cover more than DOUBLE. I measured my poles to be certain they got the appropriate cubic feet so there wasn’t any room for mistakes.

Hey”David”, regrettably your New York Italian hustler schtick expired in the 90s, you can not sweet talk your way from pure straightforward logistics. But I am a woman who wants to see her tone, right? ;-RRB- Maybe work in your rebuttle for another person you attempt to scam! You did not think quite quickly enough. I thought that I smelt the sweet smelling of delicate masculinity.

Anyways! When the truck had been loaded they chose to notify me my shifting price (contract was 1075 ) was currently $2300 plus hint – the true icing on the cake was they’d prefer money. A number of red flags afterwards and then moving around my delivery date to get an out of state transfer, the shipping showed up at a PENSKE RENTAL TRUCK. My bed frame, dresser, night stand are broken and ruined. They somehow”missing” a 6 feet palm tree, pub stool and some fine hangers. Perhaps they are constructing a she-shed for all those designer clothing ex-cons prefer to flaunt their value since they lack any type of ethical integrity-but what do I know! Oh wait, I really do understand. Because these”guys” were not even clever enough receive a damn burner telephone along with a bogus name. If you are going to scam folks, please try a bit harder next time.

Soft Touch is a Scam!! They are stealing your money and goods!!!

    Hello!

As many people, I’m not utilized to moving… so I checked online to discover a business, and that I asked a quotation. Soft Line Van Touch came back with a very attractive quote! Along with the salesperson was fine and responsive on the telephone. So I supported them. What a error!!! From there, everything went wrong:

    1) the movers arrived, were going to deny to take my couch as”it isn’t an IKEA – we don’t understand how to manage them” (… they might have shared this on the telephone earlier with me… ), and w/ after everything was packaged gave me the last quotation of 2,600$ versus the 1,022$ they lent!

    2) that they aren’t nicely settled for repayment and just accept not traceable payments (Zelle…). So the bargain was that I needed to pay money upon delivery (not quite good and specialist!)

    3) they did not send a third of my things (without telling me! I had been the one in the end saying”hey, where’s this product and this one and this one…?!”) . They did not double check with me whatsoever… and really did not care!

    4) they ruined 6 of my things (couch, floor lamp… ) simply because they lost the things out of the truck. Not professional. Not caring.

And now that I’m attempting to call them to follow up with this: no response. It’s like they vanish!

So 1 information: DO NOT USE THEM! They’re just great to take your money and run off together with your own goods!

SOFT TOUCH VAN LINE IS A SCAM !!! SCAM !! SCAM !!! SCAM !!! SCAM !!!

A first binding estimate was granted to me to the amount of

$1099.25 to transfer the contents of a 250 cf. (1750 pounds ) storage

Articles from Astoria (NY) to Miami (FL). My Wife and Me

    Supervised the transfer.

Hello needed to signal 3 files, which have been filled out following the

Contents were packed on the truck.

    Then, after paying

$550.00 money, the cost was raised to a extra $1350 $… So I began phoning the individual (Ivan) who left me the quote of the quantity and the price tag, do you understand what happened?? He halted me stating he had been at the hospital and he could not help me… Then I started calling the business at which the supervisor (David) responded an extremely haughty and rude individual, telling me that it had been my fault I hadn’t called him to quote that the move..In the conclusion I waited 1 week for my relocation, calling daily and almost never answered the telephone… The two times David answered me, he was constantly rude and crying on the telephone. . In the long run I discovered to cover $1300 extra money for the transfer… Last term after 3 months following the transfer arrived I discovered myself at the bank accounts along with the $100 deposit, the next $100 extra pulled by precisely the exact same business. . This corporation has to be noted whenever possible and you have to never, ever contract it. . And a Business that enjoys your money and no one Can Help You take it back… IS A SCAM

    Poor service

Soft Touch Van Lines – Run away as fast as possible!

Soft Touch supplied horrendous support. Every man that I talked to was rude, condescending, threatening, and lied through their teeth.

After two weeks had passed since my house has been picked up, I called to inquire about the shipping. The a**hole around the telephone had the guts to ask me when I had been mindful of the coronavirus and that it had been affecting how company was being realized. I was only asking to where my house was after two weeks of no communication.

The price they offered over the telephone was seemingly no great once they’d your house hostage aboard one of the trucks. My telephone quote was 950 and after they’d loaded the truck it jumped to $2766. I had been told I’d more land then the quotation 650 cubic feet. As soon as I received my delivery, I staked the load and then quantified the cubic feet and it had been hardly 300 cubic feet. Completely untrustworthy and will just lie about how much space your material uses inside the truck.

I’ll be filing a tiny claims court case against them. They’re extremely good at not to providing advice however. They provided no paperwork and nothing considerable you can use against them. They protect themselves out of you at any cost.

In addition to all of his, there was a mix up with what truck that they delivered to deliver my house. They unloaded one third of their truck on to my driveway, searching for my things and they didn’t locate it. I really don’t understand the owners of the property. I felt so miserable for the client of the property, he doesn’t understand his items were thrown all over my drive like shit. I found his glass table get smashed in to 1000 pieces and the guy just asked me to get a broom. Then the individual urinated in my lawn and pissed all over his trousers. So he then eliminated and altered his trousers in my driveway, all on film. To be fair and honest I discovered that the shipping was through ROAD RUNNER CORPERATION, tender touch farmed out the job to the cheapest bidder. They don’t inform you that, and street runner is proven to use the worst form of individuals with quite questionable backgrounds.

And today for the best part. My home wasn’t on this truck it had been on another truck. It had been three pm and they eventually found my items. I had been asked when I could except that a late afternoon time delivery. I had been told five or four hours longer, therefore around eight pm. I stated it’d be fine. At nine thirty I went to bed, presuming they missed the delivery and could make it tomorrow.

At ten pm there was knock at door. The guy said that he was exhausted and asked if I’d mind if he arrived back in the morning, I said okay. At ten twenty pm a barbarous guy calls me and needs to know why I refused the delivery. He explained there isn’t any way he’s paying to get a hotel room for those guys and that I’ll either take my delivery instantly or that my property is going to be on ITS WAY BACK TO NEW YORK AND NOT SEEN FOR TWO OR THREE WEEKS!!!!!!! So after all that, the truck pulls into the driveway at ten forty five pm.

I had been told I need to pay in CASH and also sign the newspaper I have obtained all land in undamaged state in full prior to the truck was even unloaded!!!

They unloaded and pull away at midnight. The guys then broke the United States trucking legislation and drove all night, nine hours on no break, to maintain Fort Lauderdale, Florida by nine am.

And the icing on the top, when all was said and done, a person in Soft Touch NY warehouse found my power washer, liked it, and walked it out the rear door, stolen!

Be aware; I have no evidence my power washer has been stolen, but it seems great, so possibly.

    disclamer for my court case.

    DO NOT USE

We simply used them to get a transfer from Philly to Northern California and it had been among the worst experiences I’ve ever had. When on the telephone together for the very first time, we’d brought up the negative testimonials and the way they’d double the purchase price in the quotation. We said we didn’t need this phenomenon and gave them the exact dimensions of our boxes and precisely what we had been moving. On the afternoon of the transfer, until the movers were even finished they advised me that it was likely to be well over $2000 (that was double our quotation ). We asked the men on the telephone if we needed to take anything apart and that he said no and had been requested about packaging our TV and they stated they’d take action. They did take our furniture apart and wrap our TV but that all came in an extra charge. We ended up not even bringing what we’d been quoted for to try and conserve on costs. After everything was on the vehicle we obtained a”contract” which was composed on an excess bit of packaging paper and was advised that we’d be receiving a formal contact emailed to us. The official contract never arrived even though we predicted the company 5 distinct occasions and gave them two different email addresses. When our stuff came we needed to cover the rest and was not made conscious of the reality that we could not utilize a check. They advised us that it stated this on the email that they sent which we never got. This firm was really nice on the telephone before we signed the papers but the moment the’d our stuff within their ownership they had been exceptionally rude and disrespectful. Don’t be fooled by their low offer to begin since they’ll charge considerably more.

    Learn from my mistake

    1. Before I booked with the firm I assessed that the customer evaluation and Apollo Van Lines NYDOT#34365 / US DOT#841867 was rated a”C” consumer opinions noted the cost generally doubles over the quote and they had been accused of holding stock”hostage” since the client disputed the cost. I named the business at -LRB-718-RRB-969-6235 and talked with my”relocation pro” Marie (Freeman) and she confessed the evaluation but explained they had been under new management and the cost would double before since they didn’t send estimators into the website they had not had the mentioned issues since new direction.
    2. Adam Dahn (estimator) arrived into my home for an onsite evaluation and quote. Adam did a whole walk-through quoted complete movement (2.75 cu) taxation and tolls $1512 having an additional $200 for crating and supplies but the true total price following the truck had been loaded $3412.
    3. I asked Marie if it was OK to load vinyl totes for blankets and assorted soft things she said certainly, once the truck driver came instantly told me I couldn’t use the bags since they cannot guarantee the safekeeping if they had been ruined it wouldn’t be the firms liability then he attempted to sell boxes which cost between $10 and $35.
    4. I received written notice that will furniture could arrive on 10/28/2009 when they didn’t arrive by 10/29/09 I phoned and talked with Tony he advised me that my furniture would arrive on 10/30/09 between 2 and 6 pm. I had to phone again and talked with Tony again, then I found out that he was the acting supervisor he clarified the truck underwent mechanical difficulty which they have no control over but he ensured that a delivery of 11/01/2009 I didn’t get my thing before 11/02/09.
    5. In addition, I have in writing that 5 linen boxes and 3 apparel boxes could be free but had been denied details for complete cubic feet to the boxes to affirm that they were really free.

I wouldn’t recommend this business to a lot of undelivered promises. Nichole Jackson
