PLEASE!!! I beg you to not use this business!!! Horrible experience of the entire life. I have never been so worried, treated with such disrespect, felt endangered in my entire life. This shifting encounter with Sky Transferring has taken years away from my life.
I will not go into specifics, but I’d my things stolen and damaged. Overcharged and my complaints dismissed. I am carrying SKYMOVING to court and obtaining all of the cash I paid them and then some.
Should you use this business after reading all these reviews, all I will say is GOD be with you.

Please don’t use Skymoving & Storage, they’re Unprofessional, Bunch of Idiots conducting a moving business from a minimal cost place. They’re only after the money. More than ensuring secure pickup and delivery of these items, the motorists straight away request the money or postal money order even before starting or finishing the job.

They’ve lost / misplaced my things, broken my furniture. They simply advised me to increase a claim, using an Insurance company based in Arizona. I must wait and see if the claim will probably get processed.

Skymoving quoted $1400 originally and I ended up paying $2399 for my transfer out of IN To PA.. They were stating that we have added weight, long walk way in the Apt, Lift Costs, all junk tales simply to waive the cash according to the moving contract.

They’ve unloaded two boxes belonging to someone else in my house and when I try calling them, it goes into the voicemail, abandoned bunch of voicemails and they do not care.
Additionally sent a couple of emails.

WORST MOVING COMPANY, NEED TO COMPLAIN TO Better Business Bureau.

I had been told by the 1 person that talked English AFTER my items were packed to the truck that the price of this transfer was now $900 additional due to the extra things I’d. The first mistake I made was using a transfer quoted on the telephone rather than having somebody come to my house and perform a visual inventory and quotation. This is the very first”RED FLAG” and that I recommend anyone reading this to take note of. Reputable and professional movers may ask or opt you to get a visual quotation. This is the manner scam artists and unprofessional men and women feign to do business and make their money from unexperienced people like myself, who only would like to get an honest moving firm to execute an honest occupation for the money.They came late and from the time they ended it had been about two a.m. I attempted to phone”Alex”, the individual named by the guy moving my things to investigate on increased price. The amount was to a mobile phone and that I was not able to reach anybody. Yes, I always take responsibility at this time and understand that I must have had them all my possessions then and there. However from despair to satisfy a deadline and maintain Florida by Monday, I let them depart with my items. I called the following morning, to receive an extremely unfriendly, unprofessional person with SKY MOVERS who jumped to shout at me and threaten to allow me to wait 20 days to get my items. He informed me of this fine print in my arrangement that they reserve the right to maintain my possessions for as long as 20 days. To make an extremely long and dreadful encounter brief, I basically had to enlist the aid of a”lawful” buddy to intervene at the communication between myself, SKY MOVING and FLAT RATE MOVERS. What I heard was that I predicted COLUMBIA MOVERS believing I had been calling a local firm. They were really SKY MOVERS, a moving company who should you search the title you will discover have very lousy evaluations. SKY MOVERS subsequently sell your company to a different company to really perform the movement, mine was using FLAT RATE MOVERS. Ok, I’m still responsible for having my things come to me BUT I’m already convinced that the provider is following your money and doesnt care about the client in any way.

My story:
I received a quotation for ~1300$ that I thought was a good price to what I had and the woman said I might finalize a more precise inventory so that the quote could be more exact that I’d about 5 times ahead of the transfer. I updated the record and obtained confirmation that I signed digitally. And that is when all went downhill.

The movers’ truck moved down that I figure it’s not their fault… the two mexicans (surprise!) Arrived at 10pm and ended at 2am. . .at initial the stock checklist was an older one (not upgraded ) along with the mexican essentially said that they count cubic feet whatever and there wasn’t any one else for me to speak to me personally at 10pm! After they packed all the things in there then he tells me I am ~700$ over! I was just like [EDIT] particularly there were things that havent even been set in the truck however that I LISTED! So I needed to throw out my items to crap since I couldnt match them in my vehicle AND it wouldve cost me twice as much to place them in the vehicle at the point! Afterwards I spoke to their broker and he informed me IF I had all about the stock list rather than the obsolete list he’d afterward they wouldnt have billed me extra!

The kicker is the… skymoving was”on time” in relation to answering my calls UP TO THE POINT I discovered out it’s that they WHO F’ed UP! Now their supervisor who I talked to quit responding to my messages, I get moved to”wait foreverland” along with the representative who I spoke to never answered my calls and rather rerouted me into the operator!
Now I left couple of messages to the boss telling him I’m not going to cover the excess cash. Tonight I shall leave message stating I’ll report them on the BBB and trust they lose their certificate.
