Protector was subcontracted out to get a NY into Texas proceed on 6/28/20. They showed up late since the truck supposedly broke down! They showed up in 930 pm, but never begun to even load till 11 pm, and then abandoned after 1 am, exactly what PROFESSIONAL going co. does this?? They had a far smaller truck and attempted saying that I just had 286 cubic feet, that was different compared to 2,000 pounds. Originally allocated! Then they made a decision to increase the initial cost 3 times greater and required $445 money to wrap some TV and move up a flight of stairs in the cellar and also to 2nd floor! This was NEVER told to me by co. beforehand! The movers knew that I needed to be outside of home from 7am that morning for tenants going in, so I’d no option except to utilize these Crooks!! My move in date has been 7/08/20 and automobile had alleged mechanical problems and showed up on 7/26!! I essentially paid 1 month lease on vacant flat! The co. and company manager Vanessa simply do not care about customer support, WORST EVER!! They refuse to phone you back, speak, or even negotiate! The itemized stock carbon copy was so unreadable that I obtained and also they had the incorrect destination in TX about the invoice that fortunately I grabbed, otherwise they’d have gone 100 and miles reverse direction! Movers had other individual’s property blended in with my house along with the TV which I paid an additional $120 to wrap needed a shattered screen!! Many different antiques which were priceless were ruined, as well as a profound cigarette burn on the arm of the brand new couch! Seemingly the Foreman Sharif did not believe my 445 money was great enough! This provider is even legally operating is past belief! The foreman essentially told me through the night time of pickup to be certain you tip his men well if I wish to keep my things safe! Really?? Seems like extortion! Shield utilizes literally criminal small business approaches to steal the cash of hard working customers and should you refuse to cover them, your things will be kept hostage! I paid $4951 to get a 1 bedroom proceed, and then paid an additional $1200 to get a UHAUL box, because the Idiots never needed sufficient space! The initial contract was 1471 for whole move! The attorney General from NY, NJ, and TX are all being advised and ideally companies such as these will likely be closed down to protect the innocent customers!

Total scam! Originally reserved through US Transferring & Standard, didn’t understand Safeguard was subcontracted. Movers showed up on the afternoon of and essentially re-wrote that the contract. Ability to control a very long haul charge, an amazing quantity of”bulky item” and”wrap fee”,”storage and handling charge”, not one of that make sense. My transfer could have been TWICE as far as the cost I had been told are the”greatest I’d pay”.

I was subsequently connected to VANESSA, that calls herself the director of the firm. She’s the rudest person in history, impossible to conclude with, and won’t negotiate a single penny.

They won’t guarantee ANYTHING, and thus don’t expect to receive your delivery to the date it had been guaranteed. Who knows what’s going to happen to your possessions.

Incidentally, the movers weren’t wearing face masks and were smoking out my house. Unacceptable throughout COVID pandemic. I needed to cancel onsite due to all of these reasons, and they’re not able to give me my deposit backagain.

This business is out to defraud you. Do not be duped.

Shield has 1 Star since 0 isn’t an alternative. Please, Please Beware!! Defender was subcontracted by All Professional Movers (with no knowledge or approval ). The employees at Safeguard were impolite, tried to alter the projected move date, at a single stage indicated they wouldn’t transfer my items., also about the transfer date we are 3 hours late and refused to transfer several things since they stated they didn’t have sufficient room since they needed to pickup other furniture. Threatening not to move my items was especially problematic because I’d previously paid AllPro and they’d made a partial payment to Safeguard. There was not any way to receive my cash back. The Carrier Business movers (subcontracted by Safeguard) were equally as awful. The driver didn’t have a Drivers License and since they didn’t possess a Moving Van capable to negotiate railroad tracks, I needed to rent a u haul and then pay an extra $200″since they needed to off load”. I’d bits of expensive furniture lost, and many boxes containing years of photos and other precious products. I registered for insurance policy and has been provided $12.00, yes, $12.00. Are attempting to achieve Safeguard for many days re arbitration procedure and haven’t got a return call. The next step is reporting them to the better business bureau. Please Beware

The movement was done in 1 day despite beginning late afternoon. 60 mile proceed. Transferring team was courteous and efficient. No posts were damaged in the transfer. When I’ve any remarks it are the total cost of this transfer even though some of those sudden high charge was a result of an incomplete inventory in my part. Original estimate was $3000+ and was around $5000. I also asked East Coast Transferring as they’ve been a local business in Shallotte for decades and ended up getting Safeguard from NJ and wasn’t told this could occur either before the transfer or after. I would never have employed a non-local firm had I been advised. Service was great but the cost (to me personally ) was surplus.
