I also have moved more than a six occasions in the previous ten decades and Riley & Sons was undoubtedly the finest in the Philadelphia area! The group behind-the-scenes setup TWO individual moves for me personally, costs were spot-on, the team both days was amazingly efficient, attentive, considerate, AND elastic (3-stories, no lift ) with a grin! Really like these men – could use them again in a heartbeat! Thank you!!

Moving is a really stressful experience and I have done lots of it. I recently utilized Riley and Sons Moving Co and has been left quite pleased with their solutions. Their cost was cheap, the movers were powerful, friendly and clean. Everything about this business was professional and worry free. I strongly suggest them.

We had been quoted the entire job will be 6 hours complete with traveling time. Our overall project took 10 hours. They shipped 3 men but wish they shipped 4 to move it along faster. It required a good deal less time to acquire the things in the new location than it didn’t move the things from the previous location. Obviously , we were not current in the older property to watch, as we had been doing our walk through at the new home.
I don’t have any difficulty if the cost was a bit off but to be off by 4 hours is unacceptable. I’d even called to let them bring a bedroom place and they gave me the brand new hours to 6….really not certain why it required 10.

Though everyone we dealt with in this particular company was agreeable, it was to be quite a ripoff.     First of all, the quote we had been granted was half of what they billed us at the conclusion.   They charge by weight, not level rate–and they surely make the most of this.   Do not be fooled using all the line that they give you that they do so to Attempt to save you money by simply charging for everything you’ve got.   This is how they make their money.     When the guys came to pick up these items, they behaved like they were only helping people out by placing a few mirrors in large boxes they’d had. . .until we have slammed with a $250 fee for packaging and provides.   When our things eventually arrive in our brand new house, everything looked fine.   A Few of weeks after, while unpacking, we find that many antiques Were broken during transit and also several boxes hadn’t left it here.     I contacted the firm and was informed that since they did not package the boxes and there wasn’t any actual harm to the boxes around the exterior, it Wasn’t their duty –no matter of the countless bucks we needed to cover them to get”insurance.”   In Terms of the boxes that were missing, we signed the reception therefore, again, they are off the hook.   They’d informed us we had about 150 boxes complete.   The way we can know Each and Every box and each thing was accounted for until their guys left was an absurd expectation.   And again, the”insurance” we paid for was unworthy.   I Wouldn’t recommend this business to anyone unless you enjoy being cared for.   I should have listened to All the negative reviews I read on line prior to employing them.   Do your self a favor and stay away.

Riley & Sons transferred my 3 bedroom home last weekend. I’d contacted them on a referral by a man I met on Craigslist once I Purchased some boxes from him.   I’d already gotten two other quotes. Riley & Sons was at the center cost wise. I went with them due to their favorable testimonials and also the referral. I emailed Bill a comprehensive list of the furniture that I wanted transferred. He also provided a written quote, which I signed off on. Bill called me as promised the day before confirm all was a move. Was told to anticipate sometime around 8am. They came at 815. The quote was for 5 hours proceed 1 hour traveling. They worked steady without any difficulties. I’d them disassemble beds and also a treadmill. They took aside all and reassembled no issue. They were fine to my nosy kids and did a huge job. After all was said and done they arrived in 1 hour beneath what was anticipated. Nothing broken nothing dropped. Fantastic job.

Very best move ever!  I’ve moved 5 times and this is by far my very best experience.  Movers were excellent, professional, reliable, punctually, quick and considerate. They really moved us through a few hard twists and turns in an adventurous movement that even saw them hoist larger pieces throughout the window.  I recommend them highly and they’ll be the only folks we predict if we proceed again.
