    Great experience

Not certain why there are a lot of negative reviews. I moved from New Jersey to Florida and also the Relo team essentially did everything for me. My quotation was true and my possessions were in excellent condition. They’re friendly, careful, and only a joy to work with.

Broke my furniture and Poor Customer Service

I strongly recommend you NOT to use this Relo Van Lines. They broke my $2,000+ wooden bed frame plus dress-suit valet stand. The movers really confessed that it had been broken since the bits have been so damaged that they couldn’t put it all together. They agreed to eliminate my own wooden bed frame out of my flat as it was really dangerous to sleep on. After more than 6 years of emailing Greatest Interstate Moving Business that secured Relo Van Lines, nothing was done. Relo Van Lines doesn’t react cause they do not care and Finest Interstate Moving Business only points the finger in Relo Van Lines.

    Worst Experience of My Life

The worst adventure of my entire life. It still haunts me because I need to think about these things stolen from me that reminds me of this whole horrible experience. JUST DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY and save yourself Lots of serious injury. I can’t think in this day and age that the people they employ are permitted in people’s houses and about their kids and possessions.

    Dishonest, disreputable, disgusted!

Don’t use this provider! There are much more negative reviews but they allow you to sign an agreement saying” some claim, complaint or grievance filed following this release arrangement shall be retracted or will be noted that a satisfactory settlement was achieved with parties. In case some promises, complaints or grievances have already been registered with no regulatory/reporting service or agency, client agrees to retract said claims/complaints, or document that a satisfactory settlement was achieved with parties”. That alone should tell you something! If you would like to find payment for your house that they ruin, you can’t file a complaint with the BBB or anybody else! I might need to delete my review after my attorney gets completed”negotiating” for this corporation.
To begin using: 1) Our possessions weren’t picked up if they were presumed to be or delivered when promised. They even called the day before to tell us that they were coming… and did not Appear for its delivery,
    2) many damaged items Together with missing things,
    3) delivered somebody else’s possessions to our residence. 1 year after, and their material is still in my own garage. Relo provided to refund me if I’d send this Massive box on them and compose a reception,
    4) once you sign the stock record at select up, they Return and add to the paperwork to show that your items have been broken when they picked up them,
    5) if you submit a claim, then they devalue most everything. Rather than paying $.60 about the pound, so they either offer reimbursement, anywhere between 5 and $10 each item, or all of a sudden… that your 350 pound couch just weighs 150 lbs. That’ll definitely save Relo $120.
In our situation: 4131 lbs of damaged products = $2478.60. They supplied us $536.00. I denied and that they upped the deal for $938.00. In any event, they continue to be forward and you wind up with damaged products and a great deal of distress.

    Everything destroyed

Overall disrespect and neglect. That’s the only way that I will explain the tragedy which occurred to our possessions for this provider. They piled everything in addition to this ATV hammering the suspension and plastic. The boxes were all smashed to incorporate the material. They desired paid through PayPal below the name state van lines then didn’t cover the drivers that would not give us our stuff till they received payment from Alex, the man we coped with. We needed to phone PayPal along with the credit card business to receive back our money then cover the movers in money to receive our belongings. This is totally unacceptable.

    Colonial Van Lines - Update

This is an upgrade to my prior critique of Colonial Van Lines (CVL) Relocation Division from two November 2016. Ever since I posted this review, over 12 hours CVL contacted me personally to find out more about my relocation along with its own difficulties and to attempt to work towards a settlement of the issues. I am delighted to mention that we’ve agreed on a reasonable resolution of those problems also that it happened fairly fast. Their Escalation Supervisor took my case into upper management and we quickly solved all of my complaints I am impressed with how fast they reacted and we do it. They say that they are working hard to increase their institution’s performance and responsiveness also it appears that they are. Scott, Huntsville AL

    Long-distance move from Delaware
    Could Have Been Better

My 1st movement in 35 decades therefore was unprepared for countless movers. 1st agent took products from Delaware to store at New Jersey daily contracted but attracted merchandise to New Jersey in which they had been kept for many days until they started the movement to Florida. 1st agent was quite good, educated, and enlightening.

2nd agent, not too much…. Shipping was 3 days late and mattress agencies, mirrors, and seats weren’t placed back together. Providentially, the 1st agents were great enough that nothing has broken.

The communication between me and Relo Van Lines was nice, but following the switch-off into the agents, it was completely dreadful. There wasn’t a 5-day window for shipping and still did not get to products to me over the time – they had been 3 days late and I needed to call around to discover where they were and when they’d be arriving. Not so fun, especially because I had a surrogate at the landing site.

Relo Van lines obtained 1453 of their 2490 price of this transfer. Pretty hefty fee for newspaper work and phone calls.

If I really knew who the 1st movers were, then I would use them again without apprehension, however I am thankful I’m not moving again and might need to select another not-so-great Agency

    Shabby service

We contracted a plumber to get a moving from Pennsylvania to Florida. Apparently they contracted out to Relo Van Lines. Our furniture has been sent on December 19, 2015. With the exception of a single piece of furniture that there was harm which range from minmal to intense. Everything I packaged closely and boxed myself, was delivered in excellent state which again points to the whole disrespect of the clients and their furniture. At the existence of the movers photos were shot along with a claim has been filed. I used to not take extra insurance due to the price tag. We’re senior citizens and has to see what we spend. Relo Van Lines Claims Department at Margate, Fl declared $127.50 (.60 pennies per lb ). I asked for a reconsideration and on March 11, 2016 we received a letter saying not additional allowance is going to be produced, to complete the forms and return them along with also a check will be issued. So far, October 11, 2016, nothing was received. Several e-mails together with the firm advised the promise rep could be contacted, and the test will be on the way along with the top – that the woman in the workplace is currently on maternity leave. This is completely unacceptable for me personally and I feel I’ve been cared for as a mature citizen. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN before starting using Relo Van Lines.

    Run Away!

No real movers work for Relo. Subcontracting to separate movers (i.e. folks too undependable to work to get a real moving company) implies Relo doesn’t exercise control of your moving experience. Clown delivered to us was 3 days late, had to borrow cash to cover team, stole beer in my refrigerator, drank on duty, failed to find all products on van, also smoked marijuana in our driveway in fresh location. Bad men and women.

    S & B MOVING SERVICE, LLC

Movers weren’t professional — you had never proceeded anything before. I wasn’t informed if they were still coming. After making 4-5 telephone calls for my support rep, without a return calls, then I got a different individual to inform me that the movers are there in 14 hoursper day.
The movers were both sloppy and slow and didn’t wrap furniture suitably.
My main criticism is to the shipping. I had been advised by Relo that they would place items where you desired. They had been so tough with my doorways, furniture and walls I was happy to see them depart. In unpacking, I found I was missing a single box along with a stand-up enthusiast. I phoned one of those guys that told and delivered him. Because there was only another individual which they had loaded before me, he predicted that individual and had been advised they had the box along with enthusiast. The trucker explained he’d pick them up and send them to me in 4-5 days. This time went by and I started calling him again, along with him not replying rather than returning my calls. After moving through my phone bill to get the amount of this trucker’s supervisor, that has been S & B Moving Service, LLC, Phoenix. He predicted his trucker and phoned me back and said he’d pick up and send my things. OJ was his title, that I think owned the firm. He attracted my lover and said that they could not locate the box. (This really was 12 days later I called the very first time and had been told they discovered my things.)
Just wanted you to understand that you can not expect these movers.

    Never Use

I’m a Really disgruntled customer of Allstate Van Lines, Relo Van Lines, Relocation operation. I attribute this provider even though they claim no responsibility to some of those activities incurred during my movement. I still hold Allstate Van Lines Relocation, Relo Van Lines, accountable because they’re those which contract out those which come outside to maneuver you. Whenever does their site or do they tell you that you will contracted out to a different carrier who you don’t have any control over. I had been asked several times when an 18 wheeler would have the ability to pull up before the home. I reassured them each time that there’d been additional moving lines around the road. When so called movers showed up at 4:00 pm on a Sunday at Budget lease a truck that I was in shock. I had no opportunity to get any other agreements made. There were 3 young guys which were quite tired but went anyway. They did not appear to get a clue what they were doing. One was so exhausted that the mind to him to go lay down at the truck. All they had were a couple boxes together, no packaging materiel so things were only placed in the boxes never shielded. I’ve included pictures to reveal precisely how they seemed. They went and got some more sticks along with a roll of brown paper that they ripped bits off to wrap glassware, plates collectible figurines. I have been through enough motions that I understand this isn’t how to package things. Additionally they had US postal boxes that they used for packaging. I will ask the postal workplace when this is a frequent practice for moving businesses to perform. They will possess your businesses name as a benchmark that which that you hired the movers. The images are there to record all of this. Since when would you wrap great wooden furniture in plastic wrap, not anticipate any harm? Never have I ever seen this done. If I was moving down the cube possibly this is okay although not cross state. I must be reimbursed for packaging materials which weren’t employed. There were not any dish packs and certainly maybe thirty. There were not any mattress boxes since you see each photograph. I had been billed for 4. There were not any wardrobe boxes since you see clothing were only set in a box that I had been charged for two. I took photos of each and every box which I had and didn’t have half of those boxes I was billed for. In most of the motions that I’ve been through never have I’d hurt beyond view. This provider is despicable and I’d never ever go through them again. I’d certainly never advocate then to anybody else. They’re dreadful.

    Poor service, bad workers

I moved from MN to NC and had the moving firm pack/wrap all of my furniture.  The stock list I signed was modified showing many things”D” Damaged, or”B” Broken, which weren’t revealed originally (the driver had made adjustments, then place his hands over the record and advised me to sign that the base ).   We saw him pack the mattress (Kingsdown with low-profile foundation) however as it got to NC, the base was broken in half an hour, such as a Taco!!  My antiques have been in excellent shape when they wrapped them, but now have a great deal of damage.  Some of the plastic bins I’d was busted and my things dropped on a filthy place then pushed back in.  The motorist was untruthful.  The owner of this business was yelling at me about the telephone when talking scheduling.  Never apply these people.

    Sadly, cannot recommend....

XXXX-Doesn’t inform client they utilize subcontractors. Called number under All State Van Lines Relocation(ASVLR),contract claims Relo Van Lines, when conveying whenever the pick up could be mentioned Colonial afterward Apple Transport was the true mover.XXXX-Poor Communication- that I had been constantly calling to become apprised of if the inspector was coming along with other things. Had the elastic arrival date agreement. I am given movers telephone number(Apple Transport-Who are they?) Which did not always work.  Was granted an impending arrival date within the date range. Movers telephone the day that they arrive, 1 day sooner than date given, I am not dwelling naturally, movers wait over night and telephone again, mention that they almost left and that I should be thankful they persisted and attempted again.XXXX-Price low balled over telephone in line with the square footage of my flat. Nobody came into asssess. As soon as I packed later, said the number of boxes plus they desired 321.23 more in residue in addition to this 1,321.39.  When movers arrive, they requested AGAIN, just before beginning loading for still another deposit.  I denied. Apple Transport Agency calls HIS manager and has it’OK’d”.Original quote 2,465.37 w/deposit of 1,321.39 w/estimated burden of 4,259 pounds. Last result: Added deposition of 321.23 and pounds of 7,540 pounds. Total paid incl deposit and deposits of balance at delivery has been 4,797.33. Paradoxically, the cost was competitive but how they introduced the estimated price, the last price being much longer, and requesting more deposit twice again, left a terrible taste in my mouth. What when a individual could not afford to cover the rest on shipping of 3,064.27? I understood movers occasionally pulled this material so that I was ready but what about someone on a really tight budget. May happen to be disasterous!XXXX-ASVLR asked me if a sizable Semi moving truck and trailer had distance to park. I stated I believe so but they’d need to pick. They kept trying to make that choice mine but shipping trucks extend the principles frequently to park and that is THEIR call. They eventually used satellite images and called the supervisor. They chose to use a more compact van but abandoned me at the dark if things were moving smoothly concerning this. Had to call a few times to be certain that this was resolved.XXXX-Didn’t mention concerning the potential 400.00 additional shuttle bill if they’d needed to park the big moving truck and trailer off from the residence throughout the conversation regarding the parking. I needed to ask. They said they do not earn money on it. Perhaps so but my money does not grow on trees and that I need predictable expenses.XXXX-Damaged merchandise – Apple Transport(AT), their minion packed two Chinese ceramic marijuana incorrectly.  I’d inset them involving cushion cases following an inexperienced guy (afterwards ) had inset them/potential chipping of glaze. Upon unloading, man doubles up the good square laundry basket containers and places the baskets inside it.  AT men did not fasten the ramp to back of truck properly so, additional weight caused manage of laundry container to split, man compensates with his burden on slide, ramp is pushed out from beneath his feet, containers, baskets, ramp, along with man fall to the floor. I visit container(I presumed ) in contents and kitchen seem nice. Afterwards I discovered another similar container together with the broken strands inside. In shops that are worth 150 for the two readily. Part of a fitting set.The sizable among 2.5′ x 1.5′ survived although value approx 125.00 is devalued. In a pair, could be worth more.Cant’s game or substitute ceramics.Glazes are tough. Insured by weight so only about .65/pounds so would just get 25.00 for my claim therefore did not file. Additional to transfer expense.XXXX-For insurance and safety reasons,I requested ASVLR that all workers be authorized and medication free- Apple Transport came together with just two men and so were lagging behind so they called for just two more guys. 1 man seemed experienced.Other stated he did not speak English and stayed silent for awhile. He tipped dresser to pickup and all the drawers dropped out.I discovered it and spoke about english to him about it and he knew clearly and conversed more afterwards from the move.If he whined about talking English, what else was being lied about?XXXX-did not pad furniture and fridge nicely. Supposed to mat thingsstarted to maneuver the fridge,my mahogany classic bed, seats, and also my desk without doing this. I had to insist that they pad them. They did not arrive with packaging tape or so on to maintain the blankets so utilized mine.I should not need to supply some materials. When we ran out, they behaved like this was it so I insisted that they get the needed stuff, which they did like longer plastic wrap as well. The inexperienced man mentione earlier, after placing the drawers back in the desk decided he had better exploit the doors closed by circling my desk together with packaging tape directly sticking into the end of the desk rather than placing a pad onto it first. Luckily I discovered tape and stopped him once he’d completed one round. We needed to really slowly eliminate the tape. It pulled a number of the end off but listen to that the back. What could have happed to my desk when packaging tape was on it for 3 times at the warmth?! XXXX-Illegible household products descriptive inventory was really mild as to be hardly legible in certain areas and largely clean as a bad copy. Guy re-wrote all 6 pages.Otherwise there could haven’t been any evidence of what was packaged with that truck.XXXX-Hold upward & more absence of communication-I was advised they’d be coming in the afternoon. I wait in the brand new house.Nobody.Getting after into the day.I call. Movers have breakfast in a restaurant awaiting ASVLR to process everything in order that they could unload. Why was not I apprised of what was happening? Why was not ASVLR about the stick?XXXX-Movers took a rest out while me and Mother had lunch inside. We begin to smell cigarette smoke in the home despite the fact that they are out. I ask they put their cigarettes out that they did.Unproffessional to smoke while on website of client.XXXX-The individuals on the telephone were occasionally biligerant but that I persisted. This started around the time of multiplying that they decide if it’s the semi would have the capacity to park.I had been persistant. There was a female which kept trying to speak over me but she shifted after a couple of calls when she understood that was not working.XXXX-Ironically the cost was aggressive except for the broken material along with the capacity for additional ruined items etc. etc.. ASVLR should tighten their boat…a lot.XXXX-I can’t suggest this moving business.

    Move

This is the worst move I’ve ever experienced. The pickup was guaranteed at 8:00 in the morning and they never revealed till 11:00 at nighttime. Any later and I’d have needed to pay a second month of lease! When my possessions arrived, it seemed like everything was at a tumbler and then thrown out of the next story. I couldn’t keep up with the photographs and therefore my claim was refused. If you utilize these individuals, make certain to photograph or movie everything! The quote was half what the last price was. Everytime I had been contacted with a shipping date, the price went up! I’m thankful that this ordeal is now over.

    Relo Van Lines

The worst moving company I’ve ever dealt in 18 moves. Lazy, late, damaged things, no insurance policy or openness to pay back damages, physicians, drug addicts. Do not estimate anything or load properly. I needed to rent and drive a U-Haul truck to find the remainder of my stuff into the new residence, which is exactly what I had been attempting to prevent. Awful, horrible experience.  It had been over 4 weeks ago and I still haven’t been rewarded for whatever. Don’t use this firm or any of its own affiliates!

    Flghting for claims

I proceeded across the nation back in July 2013. I had an injury claim which has been *surprisingly* authorized in March 2014 (that is another horrible problem ENTIRELY!) . HOWEVER, I’ve still not got my claim compensation check in the”representative” and it’s been well over seven weeks. I’ve predicted the claims department each two weeks to ther past five months. I refuse to invest in, however that really is the absolute WORST moving adventure I’ve ever had.

    Destroyed our stuff, didn't care

We searched the world wide web to discover a moving company that will pack our possessions,  save them for as much as 3 weeks, and then send them to and into our new residence. Many firms quoted us similar costs on the packing and moving, but Relo Van Lines was significantly less costly for storage therefore we moved together. Our problems started soon after. We’d sold our home and had a final date set and needed to be completely from our home at the time of the final. We advised this to Relo and they promised us that they’d be there two times before that. They missed that deadline. They really arrived 4 hours following our final. The buyers and the real estate folks were very gracious and knowing that we were needing to be determined by the movers. When the moving team came I sat down together with the individual in control and he explained that they were planning to package all night long and be eliminated by 5 or 6 am. He desired me to move ahead and sign the packaging manifest so I did not I need to sit up all night with him. He explained that our stuff could be saved in the town that we were going to. We paid them for expert packaging, moving, and 3 weeks of climate controlled storage. Long story short, the movers that picked up our belongings out of Athens took it into a storage center in Georgia, maybe not within our new city in NC. A storage facility which wasn’t climate controlled. Our stuff put in there for 3 weeks. Once we paid them the last of the cash (which needed to be achieved before they’d even start the doors) that they (distinct movers in precisely the exact same firm ) advised us of the fact and stated that all of our stuff has been covered in mould. The majority of the boxes have been crushed. Our drier has a massive dent on the top. Our mattresses and sofas were not wrapped and are destroyed. All of my children’s stuffed animals are destroyed. The majority of our clothing needed to be thrown off. Pillows, lamp shades, novels, artwork – all destroyed.
It had been so awful that a local news team came and did a story about it. You can see this here:
    http://abclocal.go.com/wtvd/video?id=9219875
Relo’s answer? We are going to provide you .60 pennies per pound for what’s ruined. That covers less than 20 percent of that which had been ruined. They simply don’t care.

In 26 years worst move ever.

My spouse and I are both retired army and at the 26 decades of proceeding that really is the worst move ever.  We contacted American Van Lines however we ended up using Relo Van Lines, that contracted out to Louis Moving Services (” We weren’t advised that the inspector was subcontracted).  To begin with we advised them we’d two waterbeds they stated we had to have the water removed and they’d divide the waterbed, no matter how the mover desired us to help him move the liner liner.  One the day of shipping the driver came in with the attitude and wanted his money before he’d even open the doorways to proceed.  After he opend the doors into the truck our possessions started falling out and we also saw at which the truck had been draining water in the roof and it had been draining our boxes.  To give you and thought of what we lost, ” he awakened a curio cabinet, a sears tool chest, a wrought iron Iron Bar Table (broke and flexed ), set a dent down the middle of a Refrig.  And we dropped about 3 boxes along with also the hardware to a few of those waterbeds.  After we delivered our claim in first they were going to provide us $130.20 (they wouldn’t even think about that the refrig since the driver said it had been ruined before he even pick this up, so that they take the motorists’ sentence over the clients ) we informed them we were planning to place a complaint into the BBB and they it up to $400.00 however they need it notarized.  We managed to have the transfer on the signature provided that they got there money.  But, now they’re sending us cash and it needs to be notorized that is a slap in the facearea.

    Stolen/Missing Items

My big mistake was to deal with American Van Lines since they sold their company into MBM Movers out of N Carolina and Relo.   We had a number of issues with scheduling and additional prices and scraped floors on the afternoon of shipping. . .but my Main criticism is that the refusal of Relo to honor some criticism concerning stolen/missing items.   After waiting several months for my things, I signed a few forms on a hot summer evening (after having spent over $500 on unforeseen charges)–because it turns out, I shouldn’t have signed anything before I’d gone through all 70 approximately boxes and analyzed All the furniture.   Needless to Say, Nobody explained that alternative to me.   I registered a complaint with Relo for approximately $800-$900; it took me a Great Deal of time to Gather All the documentation.   Weeks after, I received a kind letter telling me that my touch on the afternoon of shipping nullified any promises.   Consumers ought to steer clear of any inspector such as American Van Lines which will promote your relocation to other people.   If I can do it over again, I’d pay more up front and also operate just with a big moving company, particularly on a cross legged movement.   Be Sure the move will likely be handled from the Identical firm and also have one touch person/agent During the Entire procedure; do not signal anything on delivery when it waives the right to file a claim.   I really don’t like to document complaints.   The men from MBM moving–that did the real transfer –worked hard, and they’ve a difficult job.   I didn’t enjoy being told about the day of shipping, though, that there could be an Excess cost to transfer things from sidewalk into the first-floor flat since the building will be set back from the road.   They already had photographs and site design of the home.

    Worst Company Ever!

What a horrible experience! I am not one to whine but this business is really the worst. Here’s a listing:They have been a week late picking up my things, and around 4 times late dropping off it.  They just had two movers to transfer all of my belongings up three tales (it required 12 hours).  The movers expected me to help them unload the  vehicle , and supply them with food. They spilled antifreeze about half of the boxes.  They overcharged me to the staircase and stated they could not repay me.After I unpacked I understood I had been lost about $400 value of my things.I registered a claim because of my lost things, and then 3 weeks they informed me that there was nothing that they could do since I signed the papers previously.  The customer support is the worst  I’ve ever managed!

    Horrible experience

The quote given wasn’t fulfilled. Actual man completing the paper work and I had a conversation on potential repay if my load had been below weight.  At no time was I informed he thought it had been more.  I wasn’t informed of the further price until hours prior to shipping.  I wasn’t provided a copy of”fresh visual binding quote”. The moving firm contracted through this agent has an F rating with BBB.  Apparently Relo or All State (cant figure out why they have two titles ) doesn’t care that they contract to your move.  Things lost. This was a very, very costly mistake to use this firm.

My contract was created with AMERICAN VAN LINES who attracted me by subcontracting with RELO VAN LINES.   This is the oddest dmove ever and today that it has been OVER 6 weeks and I have yet to be reimbursed for damaged and lost items, I’m carrying both businesses into small claims court.  They dropped picture albums and framed photographs, an gas grill cupboard, shattered flower pots they packed and dropped the shelves into some 6 foot pine shelf unit that is currently useless.  The ALSO DRAGGED MY NEW SOFA AND OVERSIZED CHAIR ON THE floor and ripped holes at the I had been told I would be receiving A large test for 118.00  WOW!! Obviously I have never got it.  DO NOT USE EITHER COMPANY.  THEY LIE AND WERE HORRIBLE AND EVEN MADE MwE PAY 300.00 IN CASH TO EVEN START THE DELIVERY Procedure.  They will pay!

    Relo Van Lines

Don’t use this corporation. They utilize subcontractors and are not going to reemburse you for things they violate or are not stolen. They had been 3 days late in picking up my things (through a little business they hired) and seven days late in shipping (through a different firm they hired to send ). I’m suing them in court now. Please read different reviews on several websites. You’ll see nothing great about these in any critique.
