Razor Van Lines is a SCAM. Don’t trust the agent Andrew should you just happen to find him on the opposite end of the point when you call to obtain a quote. I needed to cancel my movement on account of the final date shifting on my brand new residence. I cancelled another day (well inside their 3 day cancellation coverage ) and’m still awaiting the deposit of over $550 to be returned 6 months after. This provider is crap. Wish I could give Razor a 0 score. Avoid them at all costs!

I Wish I could offer this business negative celebrities. ABSOLUTELY dreadful, I wish I’d have read reviews before booking. This firm tricked us from $772 asserting that we had to put down the deposit to reserve with them and we’d just get the discount to your telephone with her. After signing up a contract which appeared legitimate, I began exploring and watched all of the reviews of the company being a whole scam. Fortunately I had been nicely using in their 72 hour blackout time and that I managed to get the woman put in a no admin 10 percent commission that they generally attempt to push on to this contract. So, I emailed their cancellation cancelled and email. The customer support emailed me saying that they were not able to quit the payment. I attempted to get my lender block the payment until they billed it but it didn’t work they’re still able to control my debit card. That is when I began to call them just to have told over ten occasions that”yes I find you will receive 100% refund” However, continues to be TWO MONTHS! However no refund and also every time that I call Im advised that either the charging department simply communicates via email. (which they haven’t replied because very first email) OR that the charging woman is outside. etc.. I have also been told three times that they are going to have the manager call me but never they don’t do. PLEASE Don’t MAKE THE Identical MISTAKE I DID AND LOSE SO MUCH MONEY. DON’T EVER USE THEM. I had been quoted $8,758 for our movement by Razor Van Lines. I was so mad and lied to. They refused to refund our deposit. We had been 3 times outside on our movement and after contending for hours together with them my husband consented to the $18,500. We then got a telephone call out of a 3rd party moving firm, and as we moved through the things, then advised us that we’d have to cover an extra $6,000 in addition to the $18,000. Sickened with of the false information and lies, we now cancelled. We didn’t receive any of the cash and they laughed at me when I called to describe how mad we were together with what had occurred.

-Arrived 1.5 days late to pickup (after agreeing to inform us if they were going to come)

-billed us $1000 over quoted, even though we’ve 1/2 as several boxes (precisely the correct dimensions ) since they offered us for.

Just the driver and his boy was there to provide our belongings and the truck couldn’t get close to our home so the motorist first suggested that we get a pickup truck by a neighbor or seek the services of a uhaul and then take our items from the truck into our home ourselves (which could defeat the goal of hiring movers). He said he’d take away our stuff and we’d need to cover storage. Fortunately we (my spouse and I) discovered a way to allow him to get nearer and that he agreed to take our stuff out of a side road for an extra 100 USD. The oddest part was that he had been really impolite while we were figuring out everything. He also was not cautious with all our items once he eventually unloaded them. My recommendation for everybody is to steer clear of this corporation.

I informed him I did not have a few more times, I advised the movement to match my final. He said”I’ll call my manager and they’ll return to you”. NOTHING. . .no telephone. By late afternoon I still hadn’t heard anything so I called the 888 number. After 80 minutes at the lineup, I talked with Victoria, she had been fine and said she would have a backup choice and could phone me back from the afternoon. Next morning. . .crickets. . .nothing. So I called again to the 888 number (after attempting Ryan again and again still full voicemail). After 45 minutes I talked to another girl (I had been so disappointed I did not get her name). She explained”in paragraph 14, it says that we are not responsible for flaws”. She also said”it is not like we’ve trucks right here in our parking lot.” I was essentially told that the nearly $3000 I have prepaid for this particular service was non-refundable as they’re not accountable for the distress. I ended up needing to lease a U-Haul, buy a lot of boxes and myself and my 2 70+ y/o buddies packaged my condominium and packed it to my truck, so that I would satisfy my duty of being from my house for the final deadline. I did receive a phone from Victoria now (just since I delivered a scathing email asking a refund) and that I basically said sorry, so the delay wasn’t our fault and we all had been ready to”reschedule” your own packing/move but you decided to not take another date. Obviously I did not…I follow along with my duties! The way the business remains in company with this kind of support I don’t understand. Wait…I really do. . .if they maintain $2000-$3000 from each client that they don’t give a service to get. . .that’s a VERY great small business program.

This provider is totally unprofessional and takes no responsibility for their activities. I hired them for a cross country move from NYC to Minnesota. First off, the transfer costed over 2x as far as the initial quotation. Secondly, they subcontracted me into a different moving business. This business damaged a lot of my house during the transfer: broken accessories, furniture, photos, etc.. I achieved to the business representative to tell him that this subcontracted firm was dreadful and totally destroyed the vast majority of my things. They took no obligation. In reality, they never responded to my criticism in any way. Totally unprofessional, irresponsible and untrustworthy. DO NOT HIRE!!

Any reviews that say that this provider is moving home is a lie. Razor is a broker firm. They all do is organize your move using a carrier. Razor lures you in using aggressive”guaranteed costs”, waits 72 hours to receive your deposit to become non-refundable they then call you using an excellent assurance call. This is the point where the contract is upgraded, fuel and service fees become added, along with your origin/destination prices are arbitrarily increased. We saw that a 1400 dollar growth (an 80% rise on the entire agreed upon price) along with an extra deposit of 500 bucks (total deposit of 1040) after one of these QA calls. They maintained the new measurement calculations improved our cubic footage by 100 (contract rate was $3.25 per cubic foot) but some how that contributes to a $1400 increase. Customer service was rude, wrapped up on us, and the firm refused to spell out the calculations to people. All of this and when they eventually provided us with the real moving carrier which will care for the bodily movement they gave us a business with a number of the cheapest star rating reviews I’ve ever seen. We ended up only forfeiting our residue and canceling all bookings with both businesses because it wasn’t worth the danger of additional unethical buisness practices.
