    Long-distance move from Wisconsin
    Unethical Billing

I hired this firm to package up the flat of a customer who’s disabled. They shop by the pound. They take the vehicle into a weigh station and that’s the way you cover storage.

I am presuming to pad their invoice, they packaged literal garbage like vacant takeout containers. They quoted me another cost over the phone to the packaging than was finally charged. Then after that which was in storage and that I attempted to get my customer’s items, I had been advised that the only way to do this was by appointment.

They charged quarterly for storage, to the tune of more than 250 a month but that could change, depending on how much material you’d. My customer didn’t possess any appliances, hardly any furniture and it was a little one bedroom flat, so let this be your guide in figuring out how much it’d cost you a month.

The warehouse is a classic concrete block construction that does not seem like it’s been correctly preserved for decades. When they came from storage that the products were riddled with mouse droppings, chewed and peed on by rodents. They wouldn’t let me back to see where the products were being saved but maintained that the products were in a sealed shipping container. Considering that the rodent droppings, I’d guess it was not truly sealed.

They never explained I would be billed again to remove the things from storage. They charged my customer for 2 individuals to bring the things out of the rear of the warehouse into the front, although the auction business supplied two individuals to move the things from storage. Now they’re hounding me to cover bill ($687.50 to transfer things out of the rear part of their warehouse to the entrance –allegedly took 5 guys 6.25 hours, more than two days to accomplish that ) and threatening legal actions although they do not possess a signed contract (since they never supplied me with you ) outlining each of the extra fees that my customer would incur. They really had the audacity to tell me I wouldn’t even be in a position to have a auction when they hadn’t published my customer’s things out of storage (more or less saying I need to thank them for allowing my customer to have his possessions back and that somehow that entitles them to the profits from the auction) and that they generally DO NOT release things if you don’t pay them up front because of their”pulling stuff from the rear of their warehouse” prices. In other words, they maintain your possessions hostage if you don’t cover them AGAIN, to maneuver your things from the trunk to the front of the warehouse. However they never tell you that until they already have your things packaged and in their ownership.

The”specialist” packaging of lots of the items amounted to throwing everything to big, black garbage bags. Shoes, clothes, household products, books, video tapes, etc., all just thrown together in a garbage bags.

The total for the packaging and the movement was 2950. The total for the storage for a year has been $3,148.80 plus they billed another $687.50 to find the things from storage. If I could provide negative stars, I’d.
