Same exact problems as everybody else! Lied about if they’d deliver. Plenty of hidden charges. Inferior support. As soon as they load your things that they charge far more and treat you rudely once you act mad about it. My stuff was ruined when I obtained it. They said they do not outsource. They do! And they whined about being a family owned company. I discovered afterwards that it is just some guy and his girlfriend pretty much running the corporation. The moment they got my company the man that sold me on using them, ceased excepting my telephone calls. Worst experience I have ever had my bill moved from 4500 to nearly 8000. Please do not use them! You may repent it!!

What a horrible, horrible experience. Don’t use this organization. I regret to state that I paid real money for such a dreadful moving service. They transferred my items in Texas to California but retained my items in storage for nearly two months. Furthermore, they didn’t even move it from storage to my new location. Rather, they left me drive 70 miles into the storage device that they unloaded my things at, rent a uhaul and MOVE MY THINGS MYSELF…. To top it all off, they struck my recently deceased mother’s television…. And refused to help or refund. I believe I spent over 20 hours on the telephone with them that I learned who had been working there and also what their changes were on the telephones and how their distinct”extensions” were just three employees in precisely the exact same area…. From the minute they picked up our things (5/31/17) I knew we were in such trouble. I must have read all these reviews before hand. They included a second $3100 on our invoice, 3 children were there (5 hrs overdue ) spoke little english, they labored until 5:30 am (my spouse and I moved into a resort ). If my husband moved back into our home at the am, they had been discovered sleeping in our bedroom floor.They forgot to package 1 toilet and abandoned a local rug and enormous box supporting. Our products were saved for 30 days and two weeks before this I called and asked a shipping date. Our products were delivered in 9:15 PM!!! 12 days following the requested date. At 12:30’m the 3 children who spoke little english told me that they had been done and abandoned us to install two beds, unpack the majority of the boxes, then eliminate all of the cardboard, plastic bubble wrap along with heaps of white packaging paper. Its been one week and we’re still not done. All of the beds are all missing screws, screws, Unprofessional packaging in the place where they use your clothes to wrap breakable products. Oh and if they left I requested them to choose this plastic wrap and tape and cardboard together with them. Next morning I discovered it at our compost bin at the rear yard. Terrible support. Stay away. !!! Oh and some favorable testimonials are totally fake. Examine the dates, just following another. I am sure they create their workers compose these.

Horrible in the word go. Low ball estimate to receive my small business, then after the pick up occurs you’re slammed with concealed and unexpected fees also since they underestimated the cubic feet of the household products they strike you with overage charges. My initial $4500 quote turned in to an over $8000 job. I saw prices just like a 10% fuel surcharge, (obviously the larger the load the larger the fuel surcharge, rather than charging by the mile), packaging materials (over $600) plus a $150 fee for transferring a treadmill (although not for my massive couch ( go figure). Pick up and delivery were also postponed, then once I phoned to get status updates no calls have been returned before I’d called 6 days and the woman that eventually called me back (Angela) had the gall to chastise me for me bugging her too much.

BEWARE: This is a SCAM! I heard regarding Public Moving Services’ duplicitous plans and aspire to stop others from getting the exact same experience. They concluded that my possessions took up more space in the truck than initially estimated. They refused to describe to me the pricing policies which justified such a radical gain in the estimate. Apart from the initial deposit, this really is a cash-only operation, so there’s not any way to dispute the trade of capital. They refused to shut the truck till they had been paid in full. Subsequently Friday, dispatch calls to inform me that my scheduled Saturday move was transferred to Sunday (when the office is closed naturally ) & to anticipate them between 11 am & 2 pm. At 12:30 I got a call from somebody who barely spoke English expression anticipate him involving 1:45 & 2:15. At 2:13 I got a call stating they were stuck in a weigh station & could be postponed. I got a text saying fresh coming time 3:15-3:30. By this time I’d read all of the negative reviews, & my gut stated this isn’t excellent. He said okay, but then at 4:18 he predicts & claims he’s here & I want to come talk to him. I said no that he had been advised not to to come to my own property. He only left once I said I’d call the authorities to have him eliminated. I’ll lose my deposit, but I have filed a dispute with my credit card business. Also be aware, they will take a charge card for your deposit, but then when they pick up, they anticipate a personal check or money. Upon shipping, they need a money order or money BEFORE they’ll even unload the vehicle and also you do not have a opportunity to inspect your own items. Any respectable firm would happily have a credit card on check or cash! Save yourself the hassle. Locate another firm. The price seemed too good to be true & it had been. I chose in New York to Florida. My furniture arrived complete my shipping was with in 4 days out of pickup. The team arrived in wrapped all of my furniture wrapped down everything to me. I was really pleased with the way that they handled my products. Customer service was outstanding and I need to thank Thomas my representative that he did a superb job in qouting me right. My job was $3245 to get a three bedroom that I taught it’d of been more but Thomas gave me exactly the savings I was trying to find. This was a Remarkably traumatic experience for the wife and I. For the very first time in our lives that we had been hiring a moving company to produce our own lives less stressful.   Not only weren’t doing the transport, but each of the packaging too!   The price has been TWICE the quote – that the movers had been late, and that which did not even match on the vehicle!   I ended up selling private possessions Because of Their lack of professionalism.  

They ended up hurting our land, and I needed to prevent them from simply throwing items on the vehicle free of wrap or security.

Then, to make matters worse, I phoned customer service who essentially said- too poor.   Browse the fine print.   If You’d like your stuff- You Need to pay the Entire amount.   Talked to 3 distinct customer support agents with no assistance.   When I eventually managed to get a manager, she stated that She’d assist mepersonally, but that the Operator would not allow her do anything before the shipping was scheduled.   When it had been scheduled She’d help me decrease the price – everything I needed to do was phone.   After it had been
Desired, I called daily for 3 months.   She would not call me back- and the other customer service representative that I said this all to, also called me a liar.   I have dates, names & documentation.

The driver said that he did”not” understand the amount of cubic feet of distance my dispatch was just what was around the bill which said 2250 cubic feet of my possessions. On the other hand, the motorist had hired a team to unload my possessions, which was shuttled to my home for an extra cost of $800.00. The team told me that they had been hired to unload 1500 cubic feet, maybe not 2250 cubic feet so that I was really worried.
